  1. Yeah, that's just s joke. Beyond absurd in every way.
  2. -- Gio and Michael both look amazing this episode. Rory Gibson should never wear a shirt. Dayum. -- Can't believe GH is going to spend so much time and money covering Rory Gibson's tatts, while Y&R pretends it's no big deal for Billy Flynn to replace a much older Aussie. -- The outdoor park scenes are fine, but the softball scenes? You have to play completely dumb to believe they're anywhere near a softball field. -- Overall, a good episode. Lots happened to move stories forward.
  3. -- I do not want Joey to be involved in the Martin storyline. Of course, I don't want to see his poverty casino either. -- When busboy Kenny said "Your people all look alike," I cringed. That was intentional, and I ated it. If BTG wants to tackle racism and racist statements, then do that. This was not it. Vernon asked Kenny what he meant, and his response was about the Duprees having a large family. It made no sense, and that made it clear to me that someone just wanted to throw the "your people" insult into the script for no good reason. I expect better from this show. -- I'm not sold on this actor playing Kenny. Did Tyler Perry do the casting for all the white boys on this show? -- Smitty and Tyrell were good together. The kid playing Tyrell is excellent playing a teen with smarts. -- I have no problem with Kat going slow burn with Tomas, but can their kisses look a little more real and passionate? Those closed-lips kisses don't work.
  4. -- Why are they walking around that maze in the dark? And why does Kyle think a maze is a perfect place to look for wi-fi service? -- The maze was interesting for one day, but since they built that set, we have to see it for a week so that it comes off as a ridiculous joke. -- Phyllis has a panic attack. Damien is claustrophobic. Such storytelling! -- So because Audra has a fragrance that smells good, Kyle thinks Jabot is in trouble? LOL -- Why is Diane wearing coasters on a string around her neck? -- I'm glad Nick got through the maze. Maybe tomorrow we can again hear him talk about food for the entire episode while shoving it in his mouth. -- Kyle said "This place is gorgeous." OK then. -- On the other hand, Billy Flynn looks good.
  5. Extremely draining for me. I feel like I'm watching two 14-year olds. I can't be that kind or forgiving. I think it's just ridiculous and laughable. If June's nails looked like she painted them herself, with some Dollar Store nail polish, I might buy it, but I'm not buying a manicure/nails that clearly costs $100+
  6. Well, at least tomorrow's previews show a shirtless Michael at the pool and a sleeveless Gio.
  7. Fully agree with you about all the anvils and the setup that Andre and Ashley are "the star-crossed long-suffering romantic couple struggling to be together." My worry is that this is MVJ's plan. And BTW, if Ashley is pregnant, that's another roadblock in the way of the star-crossed lovers. GAG ME is right.
  8. I hear you, but what about Madison's impulses? She's going along with this insta-love.
  9. At first I thought, "Another episode of flashbacks?" But within minutes I was caught up in all of it, and I really thought it was a magical hour of Bo & Hope. THIS is a soap love story for the ages, and those flashbacks let us see the how and the why. We had two beautiful people with endless chemistry, I know that. It was impossible NOT to want them together. I thought it was a beautiful episode, beautifully done. Te other soaps should take note.
  10. For me, he's a curse. I've NEVER been more bored or unhappy with Y&R than I am at present. The show is stagnant and dead and awful. Look at today's show. A dozen scenes of Danny sitting with Daniel at a table in Society -- not moving, no activity. It was all about Danny possibly marrying "Cricket," as if that matters. This is a couple we see for 3 days every few months. Then we get Mariah separating from Tessa -- and not telling her why. Who does this??? It's just terrible soap.
  11. Same. Just blow them up. This is so bad. I cannot believe they're giving us this crap. Both Chelsea and Madison are coming off as immature and pathetic. Also bad? Dani hyperventilating with excitement over them as a couple. Seriously? And why didn't Vernon -- sage, wise Vernon -- share his concern with the couple instead of giving us this 1960s version of "I approve"? I hated the whole thing. None of it worked for me. -- Daphnee Duplaix acted the hell out of her scenes of Nicole arguing with Dani, but that level of anger? I guess I'll have to chalk it up to how unhappy Nicole is. -- I am tired of the constant references that Andre and Dani aren't related by blood. We get it. -- Seeing June right after hearing Hayley say she has no one was like an anvil to the head. -- If that photo June carries is supposed to be realistic, June and Hayley have to be sisters. There's no way a photo of Samantha and Tyrell would look like that. -- So Derek visits Ashley and we see her running sick to the bathroom. You mean I'm the only one who thinks she might be pregnant? It's the first thing I thought of.
  12. The Mariah/Tessa story is SO DAMN BAD that I have no words. ALL off screen. This show sucks so bad.
  13. Interesting show today. -- Cody has more chemistry with Ava than he does with Molly. I enjoy Cody as the rogue, the con, the player. -- No show casts kids better than GH. -- Kristina is a loon and a half. -- Kai can't play football. Oh no. 😂 -- Aaaaaaand in the previews, Sonny again threatens to kill someone. Just like clockwork.
  14. -- Chelsea and Madison had this hot, wild sex yet both of them looked styled for the club. OK then. -- It's cool for Chelsea to be excited about Madison, but she's already "in love"? Uh...not good. That came off a bit immature to me. -- Doug was really good today, and I hope he gets back at skeevy Joey and slut Vanessa at the same time. I get it that she's angry bout his gambling, but there's no high road for her when she's screwing guys all over town. -- The Derek/Ashley story is INFINITELY worse because of the Andre factor. I still don't see even one reason Andre would be interested in this immature, flighty, emotional wreck of a human whose relationship complaint is dirty dishes in the sink. -- Does BTG really see Andre and Ashley as a couple??? -- Would Samantha really have to ask her dad -- or anyone -- about gay sex? I don't think so.
  15. No question that some cash was spent on sets.
  16. The dining table and buffet setup in Nice. I's sure lighting will make it all look better when it airs, but that buffet table looks kind of weak -- and lacking food. We're going to see a lot of those "green walls" in the next couple weeks.
  17. Definite redemption for Rory Gibson and a middle finger to anyone who blamed him for that mess of a Noah on YR. Josh Griffith gave him nothing. I agree here, too. So many people don't like CM in the role, but I love his smarmy POS take on the character. And since when doesn't he fit in with the Quartermaines? The list of horrific treatment of others and outright crimes by the Quartermaines is long and storied. This is not the Wilder family from Little House on the Prairie. Drew fits in perfectly.
  18. "Apology by Lulu" certainly goes down a little differently.
  19. -- I think styling Chandler Massey's hair differently would help with the "He looks too young" complaint. His hair looks good -- for real life -- but not for the age of this character. --I'm halfway through today's show. Too much Leo. -- The idea that "Sophia and Tate can't find anyone to adopt their baby" is absurd. Do they just walk around Horton Mall asking couples to adopt? There's no other way to do this?
  20. These Brooke/Nick Marone scenes are ridiculous and pathetic. He came back to have her in his life again? He's "always about commitment"? This guy has been gone for how many years???
  21. Yep. That train set is actually pretty decent, yet it's all so STAGNANT. Characters sit and never move. It's stifling and suffocating. I'm sure they love filming this way because it's so much simpler and faster and cheaper. God, I was just thinking about that yesterday! The always awful CGI seemed to get more play when Ed Scott returned. Now that it's gone (fingers crossed) I don't know whether to thank Ed Scott for realizing the error of his ways or to be happy he took that CGI with him into his "retirement." Nikki's hair looks fine, although the jewelry looks like it came from the Katherine Chancellor collection.
  22. -- So Lulu talks to Gio and lets him know he's been celebrating the wrong day as his birthday. Geez, does Lulu ever think before opening her mouth? I like Amanda Setton very much as BLQ -- about as much as I hate her wardrobe and that she's permitted to get away with that. It's mid-June and today she was again in long-sleeved head-to-toe black. Just awful, and it does detract from the scene. It just does.
  23. I don't like MVJ's post, and yeah, I realize I don't matter and she doesn't care. She clearly has the agency and the right to post whatever she likes, but I don't think this is helpful to the show. I don't think it helps anything. Her last hashtag, #loveyallanyway, would have been better as the overall tone -- sort of a "Bless you hearts" message. Instead, starting with "y'all don't think we plan this shi_t out" is aggressive, and the bottom line is it won't stop complaints about the show. It's close to the kind of post that gets deleted after a time. At least we know production sees our comments. I would tell them to appreciate the praise and to at least listen to the complaints. Take it all in to make the show better. It's great to let your actors and crew and staff know they've got your back, but I don't think this is the best way. Some people here were offended by a comparison to Ron Carlivati fighting with viewers, but I think that comparison is fair. I don't want to see MVJ argue with social media, and I don't want her on some Carlivati path. I'm on the record as a huge Michele Val Jean fan. She's a daytime legend and story of daytime cannot be written without her name. That's why I don't want her to resort to posts like this.
  24. -- Adam and Chelsea constantly dine in restaurants. Do they leave Connor at hom all the time with a box of Cheerios? -- Of course, we also know that Nick is never with Christian, so I guess it runs in the Newman family. -- This show is overboard with the Victor propping. How many times do we have to hear that "Victor is always 10 steps ahead" of everyone else, including business tycoons like Dumas?
