  1. 2021: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from Jason47. Best wishes to all on a happy and healthy 2025!!
  2. Early holiday gift for ratings fans....1974 is in! Will be a bit before charts are ready, so be on the lookout for them!
  3. No one had VCR's until the late 1970's, so there's not much to be floating around. Somehow a batch of the original 1965 and 1966 kinescopes were eventually transferred to VHS. But other than that and the Doug/Julie wedding from the original feed (with time stamps) from October 1976, not much else is available outside of the NBC vault. The Marlena fan (and others) then started taping episodes when VHS became available in the late 1970's, but even they didn't save all the episodes from 1977-1983. At least since late 1983, everything is available!
  4. He doesn't live in California anymore and hasn't acted in many years. He did say he watched Bill's memorial online back in January.
  5. Thank you! Always appreciate nice feedback. I know sometimes people hear about deaths that I had not heard about yet, so I wasn't sure if you knew of these or not beforehand. Actually, I just heard from Don Frabotta a few days ago, and it was he who told me about finding Joe Colligan in the memorial list, and he said Joe was a fun and lovely man to work with. So, thanks to Don, I then checked the full SAG-AFTRA memorial list and found those other names on the list, besides Diane Delano, whose obit was recently posted on Deadline. For any fans of Don, he is doing well. Was a nice surprise to hear from him!
  6. I just learned of all of these this week, so that's why I was posting them together. Wasn't as a reminder. 4 were in the new SAG-AFTRA memorial list, and Diane just passed away. If I have time around the last few days of the year, I will do the yearly look-back of all those we lost in the Days family in 2024.
  7. Yes, I missed that when doing the updates. Just saw that mentioned by someone on the Salem Spectator board and have updated the above with that role.
  8. IN LOVING MEMORY Joe Colligan 6/24/56-7/30/24 (Ethan Reilly, 1987-1988; 43 episodes) (pictured in top photo with Arleen Sorkin as Calliope) Diane Delano 1/29/57-12/13/24 (Olga; 1994-1995, 1997; 11 episodes; Hilda von Bingham, 2008-2009; 10 episodes) Joyce Easton 12/30/30-7/1/24 (Janet Banning; 1968-1969; 40 episodes) Lemoria English 9/5/51-9/15/24 (Stenographer, 1998-1999; 16 episodes) (no photo available) Alan Haufrecht 4/3/41-8/17/24 (Dr. Matthew Dorman; 1993-1994; 7 episodes) Recent deaths in the "Days" family: Joe Colligan, who played the lovable police officer Ethan Reilly on "Days of Our Lives" for 43 episodes from 1987-1988 has passed away at 68. His death was reported in SAG-AFTRA Magazine's memorial list. Colligan's character Ethan was paired with Calliope after Eugene had left town. Diane Delano, who played Olga on "Days" in the mid-1990's, involved in some hijinks with Vivian and Ivan, and later appeared as Hilda von Bingham for 10 episodes from 2008-2009 as an FBI agent guarding Sami at a safehouse, passed away on December 13 at the age of 67. Joyce Easton, who played Janet Banning for 40 episodes on "Days" from 1968-1969 passed away on July 1 at the age of 93. On "Days", her character adopted Julie's son, David, changing his name to Brad. Lemoria English, who played the Stenographer for 16 episodes during Sami's long murder trial in 1998-1999, passed away at the age of 73 on September 15. Alan Haufrect, who played Dr. Matthew Dorman, a psychiatrist who helped Sami with her bulimia, for 7 episodes from 1993-1994, passed away at the age of 83 on August 17.
  9. One correction: Her name is Jean Sawyer, not Jane: 16...11/30/65: Cast: Tom, Alice, Marie, Mickey, Anna, Jean, Ferguson. Sets: Sawyer Hallways & Stairs, Horton Hallway, Horton Study, Marie’s Room.
  10. As we countdown to Christmas, here's a look back at some Christmas cards from Bill & Susan Hayes through the years. Merry Christmas, Bill. May your eternal love with Susan live on forever. 2011:
  11. 11/29 is # 15. What about 27. That's the most important. Someone supposedly had a copy of it and was supposed to send it to someone so I could get the cast & set data many years ago but never did. That's the one episode missing from the episode rankings. The Days script archive itself is missing the first 4 months of scripts, so they couldn't even provide me the script of it.
  12. I would say he did. That was my first time seeing Gloria Loring and Stephen Schnetzer in a new episode, and I've been watching since 1990. Just wish it was for a nicer occasion.
  13. No one ever bothered to tell John Aniston in 1985 that the "love of Victor's life" was pronounced CaroLINE. He always pronounced it CaroLYNN. So, I figured no one bothered to tell Peyton that he should have pronounced it Ro-BARE.
  14. You have 9, 11 and 15? I have 13 of the first 16 episodes (through 11/30/65) except for those three.
  15. Well, that was all wrong as we saw today! So he actually was in prison and his cellmate happened to be a man named Bill.
