    -It is Christmas Eve in Salem!

    -Mimi is in the Salem jail, about to be transported to a prison outside of Salem. Bonnie and Rex come to visit, Bonnie is in tears and she tells Mimi she is a failure as a mother and if she had raised her children right Patrick would not be dead and Mimi would not be going to prison for twenty five years! Mimi tells her it’s not her fault, and then Rex tells Mimi he has come to say goodbye!

    -The Horton’s celebrate Christmas Eve at Maggie’s house! Julie gets to talk to David and Scotty, Hope has a pleasant reunion with Steve and Spencer, and all the other Hortons interact.

    -Marlena arrives at St.Luke’s to make a prayer, she lights a candle and prays God can deliver Belle and Claire back to their family by Christmas.

    -Belle continues to try to escape from Philip, but Philip tells her it won’t work. Belle tells him she can’t believe he is doing this, and this isn’t the Philip she loved and married!

    -At Maggie’s house, Bo and Hope discuss names for their twins.

    -Steve and Kayla regretfully call Salem and tell Caroline they won’t be home for Christmas.

    -Celeste discovers that Lexie is missing and desperately tries to find her!

    -Sami is at the Salem Inn, she is continuously troubled by Abe and the Tek murder case. She wonders what she should do, and then finally says she’s sick of all the secrets! She grabs where she is keeping the security camera tape of Lexie killing Tek and heads to the police station.

    -Mimi tears up when it comes to Rex, he tears up as well. He tells her he knows she didn’t do this and is going to try to find a way to prove her innocent! She thanks him, but she doesn’t want him to throw his life away investigating something. He says he doesn’t care. He then says he wants to tell her something….something he has wanted to tell her ever since he came back to Salem. He then confesses to Mimi he loves her!

    -A limbo is seen driving into Salem, it heads towards Salem Place!

    -Mimi cries more when Rex confesses, she says she loves him too and she may have loved Shawn, but she realized that they just would never work out! She tells Rex she wants to be with him! Rex says him too, but she’s going to jail. They both cry as the guards come to take Mimi out of her cell and transport her out of Salem. They pull Mimi out but Rex tells them to stop, he says he has something to tell her first, he walks up to Mimi and says “I will always love you Mimi…don’t ever forget that.” and then they share a passionate and final kiss right before Mimi is carried off in tears.

    -Sami bursts into the police department, few officers are there, but Faux Roman is one of them. She says “Dad! Oh yeah…” and sighs, but then she says she came here for something important. She says she has important evidence that will prove Abe innocent of murdering Tek! She pulls out the security tape of Lexie killing Tek and tells Faux Roman to play it!

    -The black limbo pulls into Salem Place, it is quiet as few shoppers walk around.

    -Faux Roman is confused, but plays the security tape! He is shocked when he sees Lexie killed Tek! He quickly goes down to free Abe. Once he gets down there he tells him a Christmas Miracle has occurred for him, and lets him out. Abe asks how, and Faux Roman reveals how, Abe thanks Sami….but is stunned to learn Lexie killed Tek!

    -The driver of the limbo gets out of the car and heads over to the back seat , he opens the door and says “Welcome to Salem, Mrs.Cassadine.” and then Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is seen stepping out of the sleek limbo and looking upon Salem.

    And, a death will destroy many lives in Salem... *clips of Celeste inside the Carver house*

    -Willow manages to take Rex back to Salem! She gets him to her apartment!

    -Belle tells Marlena that she has to stay away from Philip, because he is obsessed with keeping her and Claire!

    -John sees Caroline being comforted by Victor, he walks over and says to Victor “Get your hands off of my mother.” Caroline says “John!” but Victor interrupts, he says “I can understand John, even though you have only known your Roman a short time you still probably feel I want her back, and you don’t want it to happen.”

    -Faux Roman and Hattie catch up on things, and Hattie finds out about Faux Roman not being Roman! She offers assistance in helping him find his identity.

    -Shawn thinks it’s a trick, and refuses to believe Jan! She tells him it’s true, and they can get a DNA test if he like. Shawn finally realizes it’s true, and grabs Jan! He tells her that he’s tired of all her schemes, and says to her to stay out of his life FOR GOOD, and that their threw, FOR GOOD! He lets go of Jan and leaves.

    -Helena spies EJ and Sami bonding , and she says “Well well well, what do we have here? It seems some woman could be in love with my son. That would be most unfortunate….for her.”

    -Lexie begs Abe not to arrest her, but he says he has to. She tries to fight him off, but he holds her and tears up as he says this has to be done. He cuffs her and drags her out of the house, leaving Celeste to watch Theo. While alone, Celeste breaks down.

    -Margaret takes Philip to the Kiriakis Mansion! She locks him up in a room, under Victor’s orders, and says to him soon he will be out, because Victor has plans for him.

    -Celeste, while in tears, all of a sudden shoots up, she says something is wrong. She quickly gets out the Tarot Cards and starts using them, after a few minutes, she looks down at them and says “Death has come to Salem…”

    Casting news/reminders!

    Life in Salem would like to remind viewers that a couple of casting calls are still going out, and that they would like viewers to choose their people quickly.

    LIS is still looking for an early to mid forties man to play the role of Daphne DiMera's son, and Tony's brother. He is expected to appear after the new year.

    LIS is also looking for a man in his early twenties to play Jeremy Horton since Brandon Tyler was cut. The recast should appear in late January if not sooner.

    Also, LIS is putting out a casting call for another man in mid/late teens to his very early twenties. The role is going to be a potential love interest for Abby(Ashley Benson).

    And, last, the show would like to recast Will Roberts. The show wants a mid-late teen male to play the role.

    And, Life in Salem also has some casting news:

    All of the guest stars that have appeared lately, will be exiting the show probably within the next few episodes, as all of the roles except one were temporary.

    Blake Berris(Nick Fallon), who has been a guest since Thanksgiving, has joined the show on a recurring basis. Nick will stick around Salem, and rumour has it he will have a story with Chelsea.

    The show has been asked Susan and Bill Hayes' status with the show, as originally when Life in Salem started airing they were supposedly on recurring. But, as of last month they were listed as guests. The show finally answered, and replied that unfortunately they have been taken off recurring, but will still appear randomly and be listed as guests.

    Finally, in a stunning turn of events, after speculation and things looking down for him, Kyle Brandt's contract has been renewed with the show! A Life in Salem rep commented that this was most unexpected, and they had already looking into recasting, but at the last minute Brandt renewed his contract! Which means he will be sticking around as Philip.

    -Victor thinks to himself that Claire is not Shawn’s child!

    -Tony and Anna spend a romantic New Years Eve together. As do Eric and Nicole, and Lilly and Max.

    -Shawn’s car continues to burn up. Celeste continues to cry as she says she was too late.

    -The officer tells Lexie Sami Brady brought a video tape that showed her killing Tek! Lexie is enraged!

    -Billie arrives back at Patrick’s house, and breaks down, she says to herself she’s lost another man once again.

    -Chelsea goes out partying, and happens to run into Jeremy!

    -Willow tells Rex she’s seen a lot of other guys like him before, they’re upset so they drink it off. She says she’s sick of it, so she’s gonna stop him before he ends up like all the others.

    -Bo and Hope bring Addie and Pamela to the Pub so they can see Caroline. Megan watches from the window.

    -Someone sees what’s happened to Shawn’s car and calls 911. An ambulance soon arrives and Celeste tells them they have to get Shawn out of the car!

    -Marlena and John have dinner at Chez Rouge, John tells Marlena he’s concerned about something, Marlena asks what it is, and John says it’s Victor Kiriakis.

    -Steve and Kayla spend New Years Eve planning on how to break into Llanfair. It turns romantic in the process, and Steve has more memories of his times with Kayla!

    -Philip asks Victor why if Claire is Shawn’s, then she hasn’t had any incest complications. Victor lies and tells Philip that is a mystery to him as well, but on the inside Victor knows why!

    -Lexie is enraged at Sami’s betrayal! She vows revenge on her as she forms into a true DiMera again!

    -Helena watches Stefano inside the DiMera mansion, and says “Enjoy your power Stefano, because soon my son, will snatch it away from you and you will be powerless.”

    -The firefighters arrive as well to the scene of Shawn’s flaming car, Celeste tells them inside is Shawn Douglas Brady and they have to get his corpse out! The firefighters try to get into his car but it is upside down and the door is jammed, they continue though and after a long time of trying, the door suddenly busts open in flames and falls off the car, then slowly Shawn’s body falls out onto the ground.

    -Chelsea is surprised to see Jeremy. She says she didn’t know he was a party boy.

    -Celeste screams when Shawn’s body slips out of the car! She says she was too late. The paramedics quickly grab his body and put it on a stretcher, then they check for a pulse, but minutes pass and one shakes their head at the other, then they sadly role the stretcher into the ambulance and drive off.

    -As Bo and Hope are at the Pub, suddenly Faux Roman walks in, he has a sad expression On his face. He tells Bo and Hope something terrible has happened tonight that was just reported.

    -Jan is on the phone with someone at the Spears Mansion, she is talking on the phon, she says “That’s great! I’ll pick you up tomorrow.” and then she hangs up, she then says to herself that Nicole won’t be able to do anything to her with the valuable evidence she’s bringing to town

    -Marlena asks John why he’s concerned about Victor, and they barely see the man. John replies “He’s been spending a lot of time with my mother, Caroline, ever since Shawn Sr. died. I think he wants her back and I can’t let that happen.” Marlena reminds John that that is Caroline’s business, and then she tries to switch the subject and asks John when he started acknowledging Caroline as his mother.

    -Billie makes a New Years Revolution, and that is that she will fin a man that loves HER, and only HER!

    -Sami hopes this year she can make things work with Lucas, but EJ vows to make sure that will not happen.

    -The person that was watching Lexie reports back to Stefano, and Stefano says soon Alexandra will be a DiMera again.

    -Helena says to herself no matter how many DiMera’s he has, EJ and her will beat him. She laughs as she leaves the DiMera Mansion grounds.

    -Nicole pushes Eric away however, saying they shouldn’t be doing this.

    -Abby also makes a New Years Revolution to find a man.

    -Bo and Hope are confused, and Faux Roman tells them down by Shawn’s loft, there was a car explosion in the parking lot. Hope and Bo quickly tell Faux Roman to get on with it, and Faux Roman tells them it was Shawn’s car. Hope panics and asks if he’s alright, Faux Roman said he just got word that Shawn was inside and the paramedics thoroughly examined him….and he was dead by the time they got there. Hope screams “NO!!!!!!” and breaks down in Bo’s arms, as Bo quietly sobs.

    -Abe visits Lexie in jail.

    -Ivan still cannot find Vivian! Forrest tells Ivan to give it up, and that he will not find Vivian anytime soon.

    -Steve and Kayla continue to share a romantic New Years. Steve pulls away saying he shouldn’t be doing this, Kayla tells him their husband and wife and even though he has amnesia it’s not wrong, Steve says yes it is and he doesn’t love her, he leaves the hotel.

    -Hope breaks down in Bo’s arm after learning Shawn is dead, she screams Shawn’s name over and over.

    -John tells Marlena he’s trying to, but it’s hard. John says he has to however, he has to accept who it is.

    -Rex surprisingly pulls Willow into a kiss!

    -Lilly oddly interrupts her romantic evening with Max and runs off after receiving a strange phone call.

    -Victor tells Philip for now he needs to stay hidden, and then Victor heads off to see Nikki!

    -Susan runs into Helena and shrieks! Helena scowls “What are you doing here?!”

    -Celeste finds Belle and Claire at Marlena’s penthouse, she is in tears. Belle asks her what is wrong, Celeste tells her someone very close to her (Belle) has died tonight.

    -Jeremy tells Chelsea she doesn’t know the least bit about him. He smirks and Chelsea thinks Jeremy might not be so bad after all.

    -Abe tells Lexie he can’t believe she would kill Tek. She says it was an accident, and that he came onto her, she refused but he wouldn’t back down so she pulled a gun out and they struggled for it then the shot went off. Abe says to her none of this would be happening if she had been a FAITHFUL wife.

    -Hope tells Faux Roman she wants to see Shawn’s body, Faux Roman says it’s at the hospital. She, Bo, and Caroline quickly get Addie and Pamela and rush to the hospital as Bo calls other family members to give them the grave news.

    -Ivan begs Forrest to reveal Vivian’s wherabouts! Forrest says “Let’s just say she wouldn’t be where she is if it wasn’t for herself, But, you’re mine now, Ivan, and so is the Alamain fortune and business.”

    -Hope, Bo, and Caroline have arrived at the hospital. As have Faux Roman and Abe. Maggie, Alice, Julie, Doug, Abby, Nick, and Max are there as well and all are in tears. Soon Marlena and John come in after Bo called them, interrupting their dinner. Hope breaks down again as the nurses lead her and Bo to the room where Shawn’s body is. They finally get into the room and look down at his cold and bloody body, Hope and Bo both break down in each others arms.

    -Belle, Claire, and Celeste arrive at the hospital. Belle is in tears and Marlena comforts her. She asks the doctors if Shawn is really dead, and they say yes, he was dead even before the paramedics arrive. Belle breaks down and Celeste quietly sobs saying that she could’ve stopped this. She then raises her head up and says “Someone murdered Shawn Douglas….” Everyone looks at Celeste in shock.

    -Celeste tells everyone in the hospital Shawn Douglas was murdered! Jan hears it just as she walks in!

    -Lilly is seen with SAM driving a car back into Salem. Sam tells Lilly her plan worked fine, and then Lilly tells her she’s going to hide her out in the Spears Mansion!

    -Lexie breaks down after Abe leaves.

    -Ivan finally finds Vivian in the place she hid out when she was the Mysterious Woman!!!!! Vivian is tied up, and once Ivan frees her she tells them they have a very important matter at hand!

    -Hope and Bo break down once seeing Shawn’s body!

    -Susan screams “No, no no no!!!!! Your mean mean mean just like Kristen!!!!!” she quickly runs away from Helena and Helena says “No!!!! That woman will ruin everything!”

    -Victor enters the secret room Nikki is in, and tells her within a few days is her first appointment with her psychiatrist!

    -Maggie tries to call Jeremy, but he’s out partying and doesn’t answer!

    -Jan learns of Shawn’s death! She screams “NO!” and tears up. She grabs Celeste and demands she tell her who killed Shawn!

    -Bo and Hope finally come out after seeing Shawn’s body, they are still crying. Caroline decides to call Victor and tell him!

    -Victor receives a call from Caroline. He is shocked to hear the news…..Shawn is dead. He quickly leaves the Kiriakis Mansion and Philip follows, not knowing Shawn is dead!

    -Vivian tells Ivan Forrest is trying to get the Alamain Fortune. She says they have to stop him because if he does she will have nothing!

    -While at the Spears Mansion, Sam sneaks out, saying Lilly won’t stop her. She says she now has to find Kristen Blake!

    -Lilly is on the phone with someone, she says “Yes Doctor the patient is living with me now. We’ll be there on time by our first appointment. Remember she’s aggressive at times though. Yes, thank you Dr.Cummings.” Then as she hangs up, the screen fades to black and then suddenly comes back and there is a small room with a large desk inside and a woman is hanging up the phone, then it is revealed that the woman is RAE CUMMINGS!

    -Victor arrives at the hospital, and Kate just happens to be there as well and she hears the news. Philip hides in a corner and hears about Shawn’s death, but oddly is not moved or sad about it. Celeste breaks free of Jan’s grasp and says “This was murder…..someone wanted Shawn Douglas dead.” and then Abe says “So if this was murder, then we have half of our suspects in this room.” The camera then flashes very quickly to Belle, Jan, Victor, Kate, Philip and then the screen fades to black…..

    -Bonnie arrives at Patrick’s house! Billie asks when she’s been, and she hasn’t seen her since Mimi was sent off to jail! Bonnie tells Billie she’s been thinking, and she’s going to leave Salem!

    -Chelsea and Jeremy run into a couple of thugs while heading two another club! Jeremy says he can’t risk getting beat up all over again, so he manages to slide his way out, leaving Chelsea by herself!

    -Kim continues to have problems walking! She contemplates going back to Salem! Kayla encourages her to, but Kim refuses.

    -Steve says he’s gonna just forget him and Kayla’s plans, he’s breaking in to Llanfair, the Lord mansion, tonight! Someone over hears him though….and that very person is Dorian Lord!

    -Helena is seen coming out of a dark alley smiling, and then the camera looks down to reveal a dead Susan Banks!

    -Lexie is confused, but Megan just leaves.

    -Lilly attacks Erin!!!!!!

    -Willow wakes up in her bed….and next to her is REX!

    -Jan realizes she has slipped, she first makes a petty excuse, but no one buys it. So she confesses that she’s pregnant with Shawn’s baby!

    -Vivian and Ivan sneak back into the Alamain Mansion, and plot on how to take care of Forrest!

    -EJ plots how to get Sami and take care of Stefano! He says first thing to do is take care of Lucas!

    -John comforts Bo over Shawn’s death, and they share a brother moment! Faux Roman watches and is hurt by it.

    -Belle and Marlena arrive back at the hospital, and Belle tells Marlena she’s going to see Shawn’s body!

    -Kate runs into Forrest! He tells her he knows her, and she’s Kate Roberts! He says he has a very interesting propisition for her.

    -Bonnie tells Billie Patrick is dead, Mimi is in jail, and Connor ran away, so she has no place in Salem anymore! She says it’s too painful to be there, so she packs her bags and tells Billie this house is hers now! Billie tries to convince her to stay, but Bonnie refuses. Billie asks about Alice’s, and Bonnie says she gave that to a friend….Billie asks who. Bonnie answers “Victoria Lord Davidson.” Billie’s eyes widen.

    -Chelsea is angry at Jeremy for leaving her! The thugs tell her they aren’t going to hurt her, so Chelsea’s gets worried.

    -Willow realizes she shared a bed with Rex! She says “I should’ve seen this coming.” Rex is asleep, she doesn’t wake him up and someone knocks on the door. She rushes to get it. When she opens it she goes “NOT YOU!!!!”

    -Steve leaves the bar and heads off to Llanfair, Dorian (Robin Strasser) says to herself she never knew things in bars could be so interesting. She follows Steve! Steve walks through the streets and swears, tonight, will be the night he finds out who faked his death and make them pay!

    -Kate is shocked when Forrest says his business rival is Vivian! She thinks to herself the same as him: She can use Forrest to take out Vivian.

    -The man’s face in Willow’s apartment is not seen. He refuses to leave. He begs for her to take him back and she refuses.

    -Marlena comforts Belle as she painfully says goodbye to Shawn.

    -The man that knocked Steve out grabs him and drags him further into the secret area!!!!!!! Dorian meanwhile cannot find out where Steve went, so she decides to call the police!

    -Eric continues to beg Greta to forgive him and let them have a second chance. Greta refuses but begins to contemplate it.

    -Victor confronts Philip and asked if he killed Shawn. Philip says he didn’t and he was at the Kiriakis Mansion all night.

    -Lilly and Erin continue to cat fight but Max finally tears them off of each other. He tells Lilly to stop this! Lilly tells Max she has constantly caught him and Erin together! She tells Max to admit if he’s in love with Erin if he is! Erin waits for Max’s answer.

    -Bo and Hope finally decide to reconcile after Shawn’s death, saying now they need each other more than ever. Megan swears she will get Bo back.

    -Cassie sadly informs John she could lose the use of her legs! John is shocked and Cassie tearfully says they say it’s a big possibility!

    -Helena tells EJ it is nothing worth worrying about, and for him to just focus on taking the DiMera dynasty! EJ thinks to himself he also has to get Sami.

    -Ivan advises Vivian to do it, and he says Lawerence is the only ally they could have right now against Forrest. Vivian decides she will do it and she will call Lawerence back to town to help her deal with Forrest!!!!!!!!

    -Kate agrees to Forrest’s deal. However both of them are determined to use each other!

    -The man and Wilow get into a heated argument and Willow orders him to leave! He refuses again, so she grabs the phone but he takes it from her and says he won’t let her not take him back! His face is revealed and the man is NICHOLAS ALAMAIN!

    -The man that is dragging Steve pulls him into a dark hallway and opens a door, he throws Steve in and says “Enjoy yourself. Because you’ll be stuck in there for the rest of your life…”

    -Nicholas finally leaves, he curses as he does. He says he Willow hasn’t seen the last of him!

    -Rex asks Willow who that was, and she just says it was an old pain. She tells Rex what they need to talk about is what happened earlier!

    -Steve and Kayla run down the hall of the secret area in Llanfair! They get to a door at the end of the hall and find that it’s locked! Steve tries to break it open but to no avail! Suddenly several guards come down the hall!

    -Abby decides to try the internet to get her a man! Nick assures her that it will work!

    -Steve is forced to fight the guards, they barely manage to overpower him but Kayla quickly helps by knocking one of them unconscious with a vase. Then Steve punches the other one to the ground. He finds keys on them and quickly grabs them. He uses them to open the door!

    -Max cannot find Lilly! He sighs in defeat as he returns to the Brady Pub.

    -EJ vows to take care of Lucas once and for all…..he pulls a gun out of a drawer in his room!

    -Rex tries to apologize, but Willow tells him there’s nothing for him to apologize for! Rex is confused and Willow tells him she was perfectly fine with what happened earlier that night! Rex decides to leave, but Willow asks to go with him.

    -Steve and Kayla manage to get inside the secret room. They see files everywhere, they search high and low but cannot find anything! However Kayla finds a hidden vault in the wall! She asks Steve if the key to it is on the set they stole from the guards! Steve says he thinks so, they try them all and finally get it open! They pull out several files……on STEVE! They look through them and find several reports on where he was taken and such. They read that Paige Miller was the one who helped make sure he stayed alive! They continue to search and see that all the places he was delivered to were Lord estates……they assume Victor Lord was behind it all but Steve says “No…..there’s something more to this.” Then, on the final file they find a tape recorder. They play it and hear a voice say “The boss wants to make sure you know this was all you….and he’s only assisting.” then the other voice says “Yes…..I take full responsibility for planning and pulling off this whole plot. I know this was my plan and I faked his death.” then the voice that said they faked Steve’s death is revealed to be…….VICTOR KIRIAKIS! Kayla is shocked when she realizes VICTOR KIRIAKIS faked Steve’s death!

    Though LIS is still on official hiatus, there has been released from LIS an EXCLUSIVE preview on what is to come for The Cassadines vs. DiMera's!

    "The War": "The War" is the official name for this brand new LIS story, though it is not exactly a war with guns. It will be a journey and an all out battle with all of Salem involved. Every single character on LIS and possibly MORE! This story will feature returns, exits, and excitement. Currently alot of stories on LIS have reached or are soon to reach the climax/turning point. And no matter what it is THEY ALL will be involved with this story. Basically, the chandelier incident at Chez Rouge and the death of Alice Horton has sparked everything. The death of Alice was natural but it will cause quite a bit of stir in Salem. Alice also saved the Horton's lives at Chez Rouge. Meanwhile Stefano has three goals in this war: Eliminate Helena Cassadine, destroy the whole Brady and Horton families. Helena wants EJ to overthrow Stefano and take the DiMera throne. Helena believes he is the rightful DiMera heir and because of Nikolas's rejection to be the Cassadine heir now believes that is EJ's place as well. Also during this storyline why Stefano and Helena had a child but are enemies will be revealed. But how does the rest of Salem get drawn in? It's simple! Stefano sees his chance to destroy all his enemies. It eventually leads to all of Salem fighting against each other. Just about all of Salem has a tie to Stefano so it will be huge.

    -Philip sneaks back into the Kiriakis mansion, and begins to wonder if he could find an ally in Jan….

    -Lexie slowly walks around her father’s hideout outside of Salem, and thinks of Abe. She begins to doubt if she should help her father and sister, but then fears going back to jail. She closes her eyes and tries to say to herself this is the only way….

    -Christopher finally manages to stabilize Doug, but says that the battle is not over for him, and he could worsen any minute. He continues and says he has trouble breathing, so they must watch him closely….

    -Nikki lies in a hospital bed, and slowly her eyes open. She looks around, and whispers “Where am I?” and looks at what she is wearing, and then says “Oh no….” and it is revealed she is VIKI!

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -Victor barges into the hospital, and demands to see Caroline. Marlena and Greta arrive and Marlena asks him what he thinks he’s doing, and he snaps at her saying it’s none of her business. Marlena grabs Victor’s arm as he begins to walk off and she hisses that it is her business because she heard her mother-in-law’s name mentioned.

    -Caroline flatlines, and Kayla screams “NO!”. Another one of the doctors order to get her out of here, and the nurses try to pull her back as the others work on Caroline. She throws the nurses aside but then one of them whispers to her that she could worsen her mother’s condition if she panics, and slowly logic comes back to her and she reluctantly leaves the room.

    -Philip stares at a picture of Belle. He says to himself she and Claire will soon be his and only his. No one else shall interfere, but the last logical side of him tries to tell him he is driving himself into insanity. However Philip ignores what his instincts are telling him, and focuses on getting the two people he loves most back.

    -Lexie decides to take a walk. She does not tell Stefano nor Megan, and slowly leaves with only her disguise on. She cries after she leaves the hideout, and wonders what to do. She looks up to the sky and says “I can’t let my husband suffer….but I can’t go to jail or worse get executed because of an accidental murder!” She continues to walk, and some stare at her oddly, suspecting something but walk on. She blames Stefano and Tek, thinking to herself both of them got her into this in a way.

    -Christopher examines Doug some more, and gasps as he finds one last piece of glass deeply wedged into his shoulder. He calls for the other nurses and doctors quickly, and says they have to get this out NOW!They hurriedly get to work, and slowly begin to remove the glass….

    -Viki looks around and screams “WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME?!” and slowly leans back as she feels a bit of a headache, and one of the nurses rush in and Viki asks the nurse where she is. The nurse replies Salem University Hospital and asks Viki if she remembers her name, and Viki says she is Victoria Lord Davidson.

    -Victor remarks that she’s referring to Caroline as her mother-in-law now, and Marlena says it’s time they all accept the truth. He orders her to get her hands off of him, but she forcefully pulls him back and tells him not a chance. She tells him to just get out of this hospital now, and he merely stares at her for a moment before saying this is not worth it but he will be back, then he leaves angrily.

    -Eventually the doctors come out from Caroline’s room. Kim stands at Kayla’s side as Marlena and Greta walk in. The doctor says that Caroline is safe for now, but there is some bad news. Kim puts an arm around her sister for comfort, and slowly asks what. The doctor then reveals Caroline has gone into a coma, and it is unknown how long it will last or if it is irreversible. Kayla breaks down as Kim tries to hold back her tears….

    Episode#139

    -Lexie tries to blame others for this situation, but then she wonders what she’s thinking. It will do no good, and SHE could have called a guard when Megan freed her, but she didn’t. She scowls, and says for now all she can do is continue to side with her father…..

    -Marlena tries to comfort Kayla, and Kayla looks to the doctor and says if he had let her help him this might not have happened! He says it was inevitable, and she did the right thing by leaving. Marlena tells Kayla it will do no good to blame herself or others, and Kim agrees.

    -The nurse looks on in shock, and says to Viki she didn’t notice because of the clothing and scratches all over. Viki silently wonders what she is doing in Salem, and says to herself it sounds strangely familiar….

    -Christopher and the other doctors work on removing the final piece of glass from Doug, and it begins to bleed. Soon enough, uncontrollably. Christopher yells that the bleeding needs to stop as quick as it can be stopped. He continues to work and slowly loosens the glass….

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -Lexie walks through an ally and leans against a wall as tears begin to pour down her cheeks. She slowly whispers “I’m sorry Mother, I’m so so sorry Abe….”. Lexie then remembers her son, Theo. She breaks down as she thinks of how she nearly killed his father and took his grandmother, and he has barely anyone left.

    -Kayla begins to calm down, and the doctor receives news about another patient, and he says this is urgent and must get going. After he leaves, Kayla looks to Kim and says they need to go see their mother. Kim nods in agreement, and Marlena smiles and says she will leave them to it. As they go into Caroline’s hospital room, Marlena walks off to find Sami while Greta sits and worries for Eric, and her father….

    -The nurse asks if Viki remembers anymore, and Viki says she needs to make a phone call. The nurse says in her condition she really shouldn’t, and then Viki tells her then for her to call Clint Buchanon NOW! She gives the nurse his number and the nurse finally says if it’s that important she will right away, and leaves. After she leaves Viki says she needs Clint to get here fast….

    -Christopher works on Doug as fast as he can, and very slowly the glass piece begins to be loosened and he gently pulls it out…then more massive bleeding begins, and he works quick to stop it. “Just hold on, you won’t die on my watch….” Christopher says

    -Lexie takes out a picture of Theo, and stares at his eyes, and handsome face. She says in between tears “How could I do this all to my baby? It effects him so much….” She takes out a picture of Abe and stares at it, as well as the picture of Theo. After staring at the picture of Theo for well over five minutes, she looks around and says very quietly to herself “Time for me to turn the tables on my father…”

    -Back in Llanview, Clint Buchanon(Jerry Ver Dorn) is walking through town, and suddenly receives a call. The nurse Viki spoke to in Salem is on the other end, and says that his ex-wife Victoria Lord has been found, and is currently hospitalized. He is silent in shock, and asks what happened and where she is. The nurse responds Salem University hospital, and she was at a party that turned disastrous. Clint says to tell Viki he’ll be there as soon as he can. He hangs up and heads off to find a plane for Salem….

    -Christopher finally stops Doug’s massive bleeding, and sighs in relief. He checks Doug’s status, and after a moment turns to one of the nurses and asks if he has any family. She responds that she knows he has a wife, and daughter. Julie Williams and Hope Williams, and they are actually in this hospital. Julie is currently unconscious, but Hope is awake. She gives him Hope’s room number and he thanks her, then goes off to see Hope.

    -Kayla and Kim sit at their mother’s bedside, and they both hold Caroline’s hand. Kayla says they should call Bo and Max, and Kim reminds her of Roman. Kayla sighs and says she keeps forgetting him, and Kim says she knows how she feels.

    -EJ walks into an old warehouse in Salem, and several guards stand inside. He smirks as he stares down to his new prisoner….ERIC! He says now he has his Brady Prisoner, and this will only be the start of the master plan….

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -Marlena walks into Sami’s hospital room, and she exclaims “Mom! How’s D-er” and Marlena sighs and says BOTH are fine. Sami scowls at John as her father, and Marlena comments she’s going to have to accept it. She has been doing an excellent job of maturing, but this is part of it. Marlena changes the subject before Sami can respond and asks how she is. Sami says she doesn’t have that much pain, but is worried for Lucas. She says EJ found him but still, she can’t help but worry. She asks Marlena if she’ll check on Will later, and she promises she will.

    -Christopher walks into Hope’s room, and Hope lies awake, and says “Hello?” and Christopher says “Hello, Miss Williams. I’m Dr. Christopher Concord. Hope says she saw him at the Ball, and Christopher nods silently. He tells her he has some news on her father….

    -Kayla says she hasn’t even thought about John too much, she has been so busy with Steve and all this trouble. Kim tells her a good time without drama really gets you thinking, and the things that have been on the top of her mind was the situation with Steve, and John. She says they need to include them, and that their mother has tried, and wants them to try as well. Kayla says she’s right, and heads off to call John, Max, and Bo while Kim sits and smiles.

    -Sami says to Marlena Stefano better pay for this, and Marlena remembers how John does not want to go after Stefano yet and they disagreed. She tells Sami she is sure Abe and the others will get right on tracking him down. Sami also wonders what Lexie was doing with Stefano, but decides to think about that later. She thanks Marlena for coming, and says they haven’t seen each other too much lately. Marlena says they both have had so much to handle lately, but assures her no matter what she still thinks about her every day. Sami says the same about her, and then Marlena thinks to herself she needs to tell her about Eric. Marlena tells Sami she has to tell her something, and then she slowly says they haven’t found Eric yet….

    -Kayla walks over to the payphone and calls Bo first. He answers and she tells him to get over to the hospital IMMEDIATELY, and there’s news on their mother, and he needs to be here. He quickly says he’ll be there right away and hangs up, then she calls John. He answers as well and she tells him it’s Kayla. He asks what she needs, and she replies “Well…there is news on….o-o-our mother….I think you should get here as soon as possible……” and he says he’s about done at Chez Rouge, and is silent for a moment but then says not to worry and he will be there as soon as he can. They both hang up, while Bo and John head off to the hospital….

    -Hope slowly tells him to give it to her bluntly, and Christopher says it would not be good for her to panic, but to stay calm. She says she will try as hard as she can but no gurantees. Christopher tells her he is sorry, but her father has gone into a coma, that is most likely irreversible. Hope gasps quietly, and looks away in sadness….

    -EJ tells the guards to take Eric somewhere for now. Somwhere far, far away. After thinking for a moment…he says to take Eric Brady to a castle in Greece. They obey without a single question and take him away…and EJ says that finally this pathetic game is ending, and the actual war will begin…

    -Hope manages to smile at him, and he says her father’s a fighter and to just remember the night he had a heart attack. Hope chuckles remembering that night, as it is almost funny now, and she thanks him for helping to encourage her. He says Kayla called him and needs something, so he needs to go see her. She nods and they kiss, then he heads off to find Kayla…

    -Max walks into the police station and walks over to Abe. He tells him he has something he needs to hear. Abe asks what is it, and Max plays the recording. He says her name is Erin Jade and before this she has gotten a few threatening letters. Abe says she is one of the ones they are searching for, and it’s possible he could have taken her during the chaos when Stefano showed up. Max says he needs to hurry, and Abe says he’ll try to find her as fast as he can, but no promises.

    -Marlena walks into Maggie’s room, and Maggie smiles, remarking it’s about time someone came to visit. Marlena says she was around, so she decided to see how she was doing. Maggie says she’s pretty good, just worried for the others. She says any more people lost would be a tragedy, with so many beloved family members already gone. She asks Marlena if she would do her a favor, and Marlena says of course, and Maggie asks Marlena to check on Alice for her….

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -John and Bo walk into the waiting room, and Kayla comes out of Caroline’s room. John asks what’s wrong, and she says they have news on Caroline. Both of them anxiously ask how she is, and Kayla answers sadly that Caroline has gone into a coma. Bo stares at Kayla for a moment, and asks if they know anything else. Kayla shakes her head, while John does not say a word and paces. Bo then says they already lost Pa and now this. Kayla tries to re-assure them by saying she could be back soon, and that for now they all just need to have hope.

    -Tony slowly enters the DiMera mansion, he says it has been a very very long time. He looks around, and notes the emptiness. He says that is perfect and just what he wants. He walks into Stefano’s office, and sits down at the desk.

    -EJ walks back into the Salem Inn, and Helena asks if he has their bait, and he responds yes and it is all in place. She says excellent and soon everything will commence. He says soon they can strike, and Helena says she has such big plans for Salem, and Stefano…..

    -Vivian awakens, and gasps to see Forrest standing over her. She asks how he is fine and up and about, and he says he knows where to take cover at unlike her, and how money can do wonders to get you released from a hospital early. She says she doesn’t need to listen to him babble on and knows he is only trying to boast about him being the true Alamain heir.

    -Marlena says that of course she will, and Maggie thanks her. She says Alice was feeling a bit under the weather, and she doesn’t want her worrying about them. Marlena smiles and says she will do that right now. Maggie thanks her again, and Marlena heads off.

    -Kayla, Bo, and John walk back into Caroline’s room, and Kim is overjoyed to see them. She says hopefully Max will come soon, and they will all be together. Bo clutches Caroline’s hand, while John stares in silence at her. Kayla and Kim sit beside each other, and Bo whispers “It’ll be okay, Ma, it I’ll be okay….”

    -Tony searches through Stefano’s desk, and suddenly finds a picture of Helena Cassadine! He stares at it for a moment as he holds it in his hand, and suddenly closes his eyes, and opens them instantly. He then says to himself “Now what would Stefano have to do with the rich widow Helena Cassadine?”

    -EJ stares at Helena for a moment, and then says “I must get to the hospital, and check on Samantha…” but as he turns Helena says “What is your concern for a pitiful woman such as her? From what I know, she is a foolish girl who is a danger to everyone around her.” and EJ then simply responds “She is…..one I have taken a simple interest in.” Helena scowls and tells him “No. We have your father to worry about. She will be no concern of yours, unless she dares interfere and then I will be the one to deal with her!”

    -Vivian and Forrest hear a laugh, and Nicholas walks into the room, having been released from the hospital due to very few injuries. He says it is the never ending battle of his great aunt and every other Alamain. Forrest then says “So this is my rogue nephew. It is no surprise you turned out like this, with Lawrence raising you.” Vivian tells Forrest to just stop with his blasted remarks, and he should just go back to the Alamain mansion. Forrest smirks and says of course, and leaves but warns Vivian to watch out, for her time is coming….

    -Marlena arrives at the Horton House and sees the door is unlocked, so she thinks to herself Alice won’t mind if she just walks in. She goes inside, and sees Alice’s body sitting perfectly still in a chair. She gasps and screams out. Tears start pouring out of her eyes as she rushes to Alice’s body, and she says over and over “No no no, oh please no….”

    -Kate slowly walks towards the door of Sami’s room at the Salem Inn. She closes her eyes, wondering if she should do it. She thinks she must, for Lucas. She slowly knocks on the door, and Sami answers and asks what she wants. Kate tells her she doesn’t have much time, but they need to talk. Sami asks about what, and Kate says she will find out later. Kate then says she has to meet some business associates now, but she needs Sami to meet her at the docks tonight.

    -Clint finally arrives in Salem, and he heads to the hospital. Once there, he sees Viki about to be released. Viki sees him and yells “CLINT!” and runs straight into his arms. Victor is walking in and sees them hugging…..

    -Steve sees Gina, and says automatically “Hope?” and then she says “Oh no Steve, it is I. Surely you remember me.” And suddenly Steve has flashes of memory to being in bed with a woman….

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -Bo answers his cell phone and says “Brady.” and Hope yells through the phone “Bo! I need you! I know who Shawn’s killer is!” and Bo asks “Wait, you what?” and Hope frantically responds “Princess Gina, its her, she is somehow alive and outside the church, she admitted it but ran off!” and Bo is silent for a moment in confusion but finally asks “Fancy Face, are you….sure? Gina got sh-” but Hope interrupts and says “Bo, just believe me!” Bo can tell in her voice she means it, and he says “Fine, but don’t do anything drastic.” and then hangs up….

    -Sami says she doesn’t need to talk with her, but Kate says it is very important and they have no time now. Sami asks what she needs to talk to her about, and Kate responds irritated “I don’t have enough time to explain. Just meet me there.” and Sami finally reluctantly agrees, and shuts the door. As Kate slowly walks off, she whispers to herself as she stares into space “I just sent Sami Brady to her death….”

    -Victor sees Viki and Clint hug, and he says sternly “Nikki, what do you think you are doing?!” and suddenly Viki turns, and stares at Victor for a moment. She recognizes the face from a very long time ago, and finally says “Victor?! Victor Kiriakis?!” and Clint says in surprise “You know him?”

    -Steve ignores the flashback and thinking Gina is Hope asks her what she’s trying to pull, and Gina tells Steve she is not Hope. She walks forward and caresses his cheeks slowly “Remember, Steve…” she whispers, and he suddenly has a flash of him yelling out in pain at something. Gina then says that maybe this will help him remember, and she suddenly kisses him….

    -Hope thinks to herself she vowed to catch Shawn’s killer, and she will. She whispers to herself “Sorry, Bo….” and then leaves the church area, and heads out to find Gina. As she walks through the streets of Salem, she runs into Bo. Bo asks her if she’s going home or going to look for Gina, and she says he knows what she is doing. Bo tells Hope it is dangerous, they need to think about Pamela and Addie and Gina is dangerous. Hope says she has to do it, and they can do it together or not. She tells him she will not let her son’s killer get away. She wants to do one last thing for their firstborn, one last thing. She says he must understand, he would do the same if he was in her situation. Bo finally nods, and says fine. Both of them then run off, to find Gina….

    -Kate walks into the Brady Pub, and sits down at one of the tables. She says to herself “Soon, Sami Brady will be out of my life for good….” and she looks up, and sees Lucas at the other side of the Pub having breakfast. She looks away as tears begin to stream down her cheeks and she moves to a more isolated table, and says “What have I done?”

    -As Gina kisses Steve, suddenly memories come back that didn’t come back in Llanview. He suddenly remembers Bo stabbing him in the eye, and him being in bed with a woman. Suddenly he looks at Gina, and says “You……I thought you died, but it is you….” and Gina then says quietly “Yes Steve, it is I, your former lover, Britta…”

    -Steve says she didn’t explain much, and that’s why they were fighting. Hope explains to Steve who Gina Von Amberg is and what happened years ago when Hope and Stefano were locked up in a tower in France, and also how when she came to Salem many years ago she thought she was Gina. She says Gina is a rich Princess, she can’t be Britta. Steve then warns Bo and Hope “Anything is possible in Salem. Look at all the other strange things that have happened. I think it could actually be Britta. It seems she already faked her death six years ago, so why not twenty?”

    -Tony and Anna walk into the police station. Tony tells Abe they need his help, and Abe says that he’s very busy with something. Tony says it involves Stefano, and Abe looks at him and says “That’s what I am concerned about. What’s the problem?” and Tony takes out a picture of Helena, saying he found this in Stefano’s desk at the DiMera mansion the other night. Anna says it’s odd for Stefano to have a picture of a rich widow like her, especially one that has been heard to have mental problems. As Roman and Marlena walk in, Abe says they may have more problems on their hands than he thought.

    *Days of Our Lives Opening*

    -Bo admits Steve has a point, and Hope sighs, and she says to Bo that he needs to call Abe. Steve says he needs to get to Kayla, but he’s not finished trying to find out more about this Gina/Britta. He walks off, and at the police station Abe answers the phone and tells Bo and Hope they need to get back there immediately.

    -As Bo says they will and Abe hangs up, Marlena asks Abe what is going on. Abe looks at Roman, Marlena, Tony, and Anna and tells them that just earlier they received a call from Celeste, and Roman says he thought Stefano had her hidden somewhere. Abe answers that he does, but Celeste managed to get out of wherever she was locked in in time to call him, and she doesn’t know where she is, but she knows it’s not in Salem and she warned him of Stefano. Tony then tells Roman and Marlena of the picture of Helena he found inside Stefano’s desk at the DiMera mansion. Marlena gasps, thinking she has heard the name before…

    -As Bo and Hope head to the police station, Hope asks what Abe needs. Bo says he isn’t sure, and Hope says she hopes it’s quick because right now she just wants to get back to Pamela and Addie. Bo assures her they will see their daughter soon as they approach the police station.

    -Marlena says she could have sworn Stefano mentioned that name sometime before, during the years when she was being held captive by him on a Carribean island. She says she cannot remember much, and turns and asks Allan is he remembers anything from that time. Allan shakes his head, saying unfortunately he doesn’t. Suddenly a voice says from the door “I do.” and Hattie is seen standing in the doorway of the police station. Allan asks Hattie how she knows anything about Helena Cassadine, and she says she was working with the DiMeras for several years. Roman tells her then to enlighten them on what she knows. Hattie says she doesn’t know much, but she does know Helena and Stefano have been fierce rivals, and Stefano monitored her actions closely over the years. Bo and Hope walk in and Bo asks what’s going on, and Abe explains to them the whole situation. Hope gets concerned, and also brings up how she saw Megan Hathaway, who was thought to be dead, at Chez Rouge when Stefano showed up. Hattie continues on, saying even sometimes Stefano got notes from Helena saying she knew what he was doing and soon his time would be up. Roman then says that judging by this information, they aren’t about to see another Brady/DiMera feud, but instead Cassadines vs. DiMeras, with the rest of Salem caught in the middle.

    -As it nears 5:00 P.M. Sami gets ready to go to the docks. She says that Kate had better have something useful to talk to her about instead of some dumb thing about her and Lucas or some other ridiculous issue. Lucas comes in and asks Sami where she is going, and Sami answers she’s just going to talk to his mother, and he asks why. She replies that she wanted to speak to her for some reason, and Lucas tells her to be sure to tell him if she causes any trouble. Sami promises she will, and leaves.

    -Steve walks into Kayla’s apartment, and Kayla asks Steve what he’s been doing since he ran off from the Kiriakis Mansion. He says he needed to take some time for himself, but he found out something she needs to know. She asks what it is, and he says his old lover, Britta Englund, is alive.

    -Anna says even after over twenty years she’s not sure if she can take another kind of war or feud in Salem. Roman says they all have had enough of wars and feuds, but they can’t just sit back and let this happen, for each other and their families. Bo agrees, and Marlena says they must stop both Helena and Stefano before it is too late.

    *Life in Salem Opening(AKA Days of Our Lives Opening)*

    -Lucas stands alone for a moment in the Salem Inn, and thinks about his relationship with Sami, and wonders if he wants to get back together with her after all. He thinks to himself he isn’t sure if he can after all that has happened in the past, but remembered how she admitted to Austin what she did all those months ago. Meanwhile, Alexis watches him from the door.

    -Sami arrives at the docks, and doesn’t see Kate. All she sees is a woman with a blanket over her like a cloak, and it conceals her face. Sami scowls and then walks over to the woman and describes Kate to her and asks her if she has seen her. The woman says in a low voice “I have, but not here, my dear.” and Sami raises an eyebrow and suddenly the woman takes off the blanket to reveal HELENA! Helena has a knife in her hand and Sami flashes back to when Helena demanded she stay away from EJ at the Salem Inn. Helena says with a smirk “What a pleasure to see you again, my dear…”

    -Kayla stares at Steve and says “No, Britta Englund? You mean…the one who caused Bo to stab you all those years ago? But she’s dead….” and Steve shakes his head, telling her it turns out Britta is alive, and looks like Hope. Kayla asks him what he means, and he says she looks completely like Hope, and apparently is also called Gina. Kayla says in shock “You mean Princess Gina?! Britta and…Gina are the same person? No, Steve…” and Steve says he knows it’s true, and for him to just trust her. Kayla closes her eyes and says they don’t need anymore drama in their life….

    -Tony tells everyone to lead it to him, and he’ll lurk around the DiMera Mansion or any other compound. Anna says she’ll go with him, and maybe they can also find something on his missing child. Hope suddenly remembers the island where Caroline and Victor were held captive for a short time, and says something could be there. Bo says while he, Hope, Tony, and Anna try to figure out information on Helena and Stefano’s connection so they can stop this war before it begins, the rest of them need to keep Salem safe. Abe says he and Allan will do that, and Marlena says she won’t just sit around, she is going after Stefano. She looks at Roman and asks him if he’s with her now, and he slowly sighs and says “Yes, I am. Now, there’s no choice. He has to be stopped….” and Marlena thanks him.

    -Lucas can feel someone watching him, and turns to the door. He sees Alexis and asks what she wants, and she says sarcastically she was just checking up on her favorite neighbor. He says he doesn’t need checking up on and she can go back to whatever she was doing, but she says not quite.

    -Sami yells “What do you want with me you freak?!” and suddenly Helena grabs her arm and whispers “I want you to die….” and Sami screams “I DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU! WHO ARE YOU?!” and she hisses in Sami’s ear “Helena Cassadine….” and Sami says she’s heard of her, and Helena Cassadine is a lunatic and now she gets why. Sami asks what she ever did to her, and Helena then hisses “You tried to take my son away from me….” and Sami says “EJ?! EJ IS YOUR SON?!” and Helena snarls “Oh of course you little twit.” and Sami attacks Helena in defense, but Helena kicks Sami off of her and then pulls Sami’s hair back and Sami screams out in pain, and Helena slashes Sami on her arm but it only grazes her arm though there is a slight cut. Sami tries to fight back but to no avail, and Helena in anger pushes her into the river...

    -Steve tells Kayla he will handle this, and Kayla says no, she will help him. She says she can’t just sit around like a housewife, she is going to help him stop Victor and Britta. He smiles and they embrace in a hug, and Steve says he knows they can get through this.

    -Abe says it sounds like a good enough plan, but for everyone to be careful and don’t do anything drastic. Anna remarks that can’t be avoided, and Tony laughs. They all leave the police station, ready to go up against the Cassadines and DiMeras.

    -Lucas tells her he doesn’t want to talk to some low life like her, and she rolls her eyes and says fine, but he hasn’t seen the last of her. After she leaves Lucas wonders what is with that woman.

    -Helena chuckles as she stares out at the river and sees no sight of Sami. She says people of these towns need to learn anyone who goes up against Helena Cassadine will lose, something Stefano will soon learn. She laughs evilly as she walks away, but suddenly after she leaves the docks, Sami grabs onto the ladder, breathing heavily. As she climbs back up on the docks and catches her breath, she says angrily “Fine. If it’s a war Helena wants, it’s a war she’ll get.” and walks off…

    Life in Salem is happy to finally break it's silence on a high-profile story and announce that Annette Bening, Andy Garcia, and Chazz Palminteri are joining the cast as younger versions of Helena Cassadine, Stefano DiMera, and Mikkos Cassadine! They will be on recurring but will have a large role in The War.

    "Annette plays a younger Helena in the seventies, while Andy plays a younger Stefano in the seventies and Chazz plays a younger Mikkos in the seventies," EP/HW Daysfan/Tara explains "Stefano and Mikkos have a hidden connection, this will be explored. And of course the relationship between Helena and Stefano must be explored, mostly through flashbacks. You could say it's slightly like Santo and Colleen, just none of the couples will be sitting around reading letters[laughs]. And it won't be quite so much of a romance story, but again Helena and Stefano will be similar."

    All three are on recurring but will get some airtime. While the airtime may be small they still again have large roles but "won't conquer the whole story. The main focus will be on the now, not the past."

    Episode#163

    -As morning rises in Salem, Jan walks out of the elevator at Belle’s loft. She walks up to the door, and without bothering to knock walks right in. Belle looks at her in surprise and growls to Jan that she better get out or she will call the police and she was lucky she left her off the hook last time. Jan says she’s not here to fight with her, she says she’s here because she knows who killed Shawn.

    -Bo walks into his house, and sees Hope there after Julie and Maggie left several hours ago. Hope greets Bo with a kiss and she asks what took him so long to get home, and he says they have a problem. She asks what kind of problem, and he says EJ, the son of Helena, and Nikolas, the grandson of Helena, attacked Abe and Roman. Hope gasps and asks if they are alright, he says yes but they are going to Italy to find Stefano and they might need his help. Hope sighs, and says she’s not sure if she wants him leaping off on an adventure so soon after losing Alice, and he says he knows and he doesn’t have to go. Hope sighs, and thinks for a moment. She finally says she’s going with him.

    -Roman and Abe are at the airport, and Abe tells Roman Nikolas and EJ are probably already out of Salem, but he knows where they are going to go. Roman says obviously Italy and Abe agrees. Roman calls Marlena, who is at the penthouse with Sami, and tells her there has a last minute change of plans and explains to her the whole situation. Marlena tells him she’s going too, and Roman says she needs to stay in Salem for safety. Marlena tells Roman not a chance, and he can’t change her mind. Roman then tells her he won’t let her get hurt, and Marlena assures him she won’t. Marlena then says she’ll see him at the airport and hangs up before he can get a word in.

    -Tony says “No, it can’t be…this is impossible….” and Anna asks again if he’s alright, and Tony says he remembered him shooting himself in Aremid! Anna immediately says “No, that can’t be true. You’d never shoot yourself. I know you…” and she says Andre was the one who shot himself in Aremid! Tony says now he’s not so sure, and Anna then sputters that Stefano could have implanted him with some kind of chip that made him think he shot himself, but Tony shakes his head slowly. He says “Anna, I truly think I shot myself…”

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -At the Kiriakis mansion, the doorbell is rang and Victor answers it to see Viki. He tells her to come in and she does, and then tells him she has news: She and Clint are going back to Llanview.

    -Belle gasps and she anxiously asks who, and yells “WHO KILLED SHAWN?!” and Jan then replies “Princess Gina Von Amberg, I saw it in the news. I’m surprised you didn’t.” and she walks up to Belle’s face and snarls that she hates her, but they may have to work together to stop Shawn’s killer, and Jan continues to say she would do anything for Shawn, even team up with her. Belle tells Jan she thinks she is psychotic, but she will do it.

    -Bo says she can’t and shouldn’t go, Stefano is dangerous and their daughters need her. He also says she’s still getting over Alice’s death, and Hope in silence briefly looks at a picture of Alice on the mantle, and says softly as she looks back to Bo “It’s what Gran would want me to do. We’ve faced Stefano so many times before, and Julie and Aunt Maggie can watch the girls. Abe and Roman need your help, but you need mine.” and Bo finally admits she‘s right, but they just have to be very careful when they get to Italy.

    -Marlena looks to Sami and informs her of what has happened, and Sami tells Marlena she’s going to Italy. Marlena sighs and says now she is in the position Roman was. Sami tells Marlena Helena tried to kill her, she’s going. Marlena tells Sami fine, and both head off.

    -Anna asks Tony how would he know and he just had some strange flashback, and Tony says because that flashback tells it all to him. He says he wonders if it perhaps wasn’t Andre in Aremid and it was him. Anna yells “NO! You didn’t frame Roman for your murder, you wouldn’t do that! YOU WOULDN’T, I KNOW YOU TONY!” and Tony takes her hand and tells her he’s just confused at this point, he is not sure what to think…but he gets the feeling he may have done it. Anna snaps to Tony they can’t be sure at all and she doesn’t understand why he is suddenly thinking like this.

    -Victor asks Viki in shock “What?!” and she says it’s true. She says at first she wanted to stay in Salem to figure this all out, but after talking with Clint she knows she needs to go back to Llanview to see her family for familiar scenery. She says they have been without her for so long, and she thinks now is not the time to be in Salem. He tries to tell her Clint is just polluting her mind but she says no, and then says she will probably return to Salem someday, but now is not the time. She then says “Goodbye, Victor.” and walks out the door, and after it is shut Victor slams his fist down in anger and says that he’s lost Viki again, but this time all of Salem will pay for it.

    -Belle warns Jan to not pull any tricks, and Jan says not this time. Belle then says “So it’s settled.” and Jan nods. Jan turns and tells Belle she’ll be in touch, and after she walks out the door and into the elevator, she begins to laugh evilly and says Belle is such a fool. She says she may be joining up with her for now to stop Gina, but she has plans in store for Belle. Meanwhile back in her loft, Belle sits down and says she just teamed up with Jan Spears, which could be an advantage or her death.

    -Bo, Hope, Marlena, and Sami all arrive at the airport and greet each other. Sami briefly glances at Roman but looks away, still not ready to accept him. Abe says it looks like they have a few extra people, but Hope says they can handle this. Abe warns them that this will be dangerous and every one of them, even himself, must be careful. They all agree, and board a plane to Italy! Gina, who was watching in the background, says she guesses this means she must go to Italy as well.

    -Tony tells her he may have only just remembered the memory but he has to. Anna tells him it’s impossible, and Tony tells her they can’t rule out the possibility. Anna trembles “N-N-no…it has to be Andre…” and tears begin to stream from her eyes, as she breaks down and slowly says again “You wouldn’t do that.…you wouldn’t frame another man for your murder…” Tony looks at her and slowly puts his arms around her as Anna slowly looks back at him and asks in-between the tears…

    Anna: Why?! Why would you do that and not even remember?! WHY, TONY?!
    Tony: Anna….I can’t know that….not yet….
    Anna: Then maybe you didn’t do it. Mabye it’s Stefano whos making you think like this. Mabye you were under his control. Mabye-

    She then just stops in her sentence and continues to cry harder as Tony cradles her, and the screen fades to black…

    Episode#172

    -Roman turns to Philip and says he may have saved his daughter, but he will still have to be arrested for kidnapping Belle, running from the law, and apparently stalking her. Philip snaps to Roman he’s not a cop anymore, he can’t arrest him, and his father will get him out of this. Belle snaps to Philip she IS pressing charges against him and Victor can’t do a damn thing about that. Roman gets several ISA agents over there and has them take Philip away.

    -Gina is being dragged off by two ISA agents, and one of them is a woman. She looks and sees a gun in it’s holster on the male agent and slowly tries to slip her hand over to it, but he notices and squeezes her arm tightly and tells her to not even think about it. Gina smirks and quickly turns to the female agent and breaks free of her grasp and in the confusion manages to break free of the male’s grip and attack the female agent…and take her gun!!! Gina then takes off running!

    -Shane finds the ISA agents that have EJ and tell them they need to get Wells out of there now before things end up erupting not only on the inside of the DiMera palace and they can’t risk losing EJ. EJ snaps to Shane he will get free, and Shane just motions for them to take EJ, but suddenly they all turn as they hear several more windows shatter due to gunfire in the DiMera palace. While they all are looking suddenly Sami comes over to them after she and Lucas leave the DiMera palace. Sami tells Shane she needs to talk to EJ privately, and Shane says he’s very dangerous and Sami says she doesn’t care. Shane gives in and says fine, and Sami takes the handcuffed EJ into an empty warehouse not far off.

    -Helena looks at Lexie, and Lexie has anger and hate in her eyes. Stefano chuckles as he says he sees she has returned to his side, and Lexie says hell no. She says she’s sick of all this fighting and all this war. Helena angrily says there will be much more fighting now, and she will die after what she has done! Helena yells “You KILLED my GRANDSON! He was FINALLY beginning to form TRUE CASSADINE and YOU MURDERED HIM!” and Lexie then snaps that Helena’s done worse. Helena takes out her knife and attacks Lexie!

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Megan and Billie continue to catfight, and Billie grabs Megan by her collar and says she will never take Bo and Hope’s children! Megan asks Billie why she cares and she wanted Bo at one time, and Billie says she is over him and they have already lost enough as it is. Megan breaks free of Billie’s grasp but Billie grabs the back of Megan’s shirt and pulls her close and shoves her down, and Megan turns around in anger and shoves Billie back and slaps her, and Billie then shoves Megan against the wall of a building very hard, causing Megan to get knocked out.

    -Roman and Marlena approach the DiMera Palace and see the foyer of the mansion is empty as the rest of the ISA agents and Stefano’s men have moved their battle deeper into the palace, and that many bodies lie scattered. Allan, Anna, and Hattie approach Roman and Marlena and Allan says that luckily the chaos has calmed down, and there’s nothing more they can do at this point. Roman says yes there is, and that they can find Stefano and get rid of him for good.

    -Lucas is walking around outside the DiMera Palace and sees his mother’s body being wheeled out from the garden and his eyes widen in shock!

    -Steve and Kayla, after escaping from the palace, are walking outside and see Gina running. Steve yells “BRITTA!” and chases off after her before Kayla can get a word in, so Kayla follows.

    -Lexie prepares to fire at Helena but Abe rushes in and pulls her back, and Helena fails to get to Lexie in time. She slowly backs away as she stares at all three of them, and looks at her grandson’s body. She tells them they will ALL pay, and rushes off! Stefano laughs evilly and thanks Lexie, and Lexie says she wasn’t doing it for him. Stefano says “So you think” and Abe tells Stefano that he’s under arrest, Stefano backs up and says he doesn’t think so. Abe tries to take out his gun but suddenly, Stefano takes the chance to slip out! Lexie tries to fire in time but Stefano is too quick and darts down the halls!

    -Anna separates from Allan, Hattie, Roman, and Marlena and finds “Tony” in the garden. She quickly walks over to him and asks where the hell he’s been, and “Tony” thinks to himself he has to rid himself of her. He tells her he found Kate Roberts dead, and Anna gasps in shock! She says that’s terrible and “Tony” goes on to tell her that Helena murdered her and he saw it, but it was too late. Anna stares in shock and says this whole situation is just so terrible, but also she can tell something is off with “Tony”.

    -Billie goes off to try to find an ISA agent or officer to get Megan, but suddenly when she looks back she sees Megan is gone! She yells “Damn my stupidity!” and says she has to stop Megan.

    -Steve and Kayla chase Gina into an abandoned apartment, and as they rush up a stairwell Steve yells for her to stop, while Kayla tries to call Bo. As Gina reaches the top she looks at Steve and says she loves him, but it would be best for him to leave now. With that she rushes to the rooftop but Steve follows!

    -EJ asks Sami what she could possibly want, and Sami tells EJ she is setting him free! EJ yells “WHAT?!” in shock and she snaps to him to be quiet as she tries to get the handcuffs off of him. She says she may not totally support what he’s doing exactly, but she wants both Stefano and Helena to pay and EJ has good reason to do what he is trying to do. EJ grins to himself and thinks to himself all is falling into place.

    -Stefano manages to get to one of the secret rooms in the DiMera palace after going through many secret halls, and he breaths in relief after he shuts the secret entrance, but suddenly HELENA turns around in a chair at the desk! Helena and Stefano exchange a death glare.

    -The guards seem to be contemplating what EJ is saying, and EJ says he wouldn’t be doing this if he was sure of success. He says if they continue on Stefano’s service they will just be useless slaves for the next twenty years. Suddenly one of the guards say they will join EJ!

    -Steve, Kayla, Allan, Hattie, Anna, and Marlena rush towards what they are seeing, and as they get closer Steve says it looks like a compound, and Anna then says “Well obviously that’s it.” and Marlena slowly says:

    Marlena: Yes…that has to be it. Lets go.

    -Helena walks up to the door into Stefano’s office, and kicks the door open. She walks in to see Stefano grinning, gun in hand.

    *Life in Salem Opening*

    -Roman stands on the cliff, and continues to stare out at the island. He flashes back to 1984, and remembers the news of the crash being delivered, and then him leaving for the island and saying goodbye to Marlena and the babies Sami and Eric. He slowly says he’ll make all of that up here…he’ll make up being taken and leaving his family alone…

    -Slowly more and more guards in that area agree to join EJ, and EJ says then they must go around to the front entrance to attack, and says Stefano has many more men than just what they gathered here. Sami says she can’t believe this is working, and EJ tells her not to worry! EJ and Sami lead the guards out of the side exit of the compound and head to the main entrance!

    -Helena slowly steps into the office and looks at Stefano, and says:

    Helena: Very clever, Stefano…
    Stefano: I expected you to show up here around this time. All of this is exactly according to my plan…in fact if you didn’t already know, a bunch of our friends from Salem are running around outside.
    Helena: I could care less about them. What I do care about is killing you, and ending this blasted war I started all those years ago.
    Stefano: For such petty reasons.

    Helena slaps Stefano!

    -Marlena, Anna, Allan, Hattie, Steve, and Kayla all walk up to the main entrance of the compound. They see the large double doors shut, and Allan and Steve try to pry them open. Suddenly the doors open out of the blue to see “Tony” and some guards there right inside! “Tony” smirks while Anna looks on in shock, and he says:

    “Tony”: Welcome, you all have come far…but can you make it inside?

    Suddenly he takes a remote and pushes a button to SHUT the doors, and Marlena yells “NO!” and leaps right inside with Anna behind her, but the doors shut before anyone else can get in! The group outside look to see EJ, Sami, and their group of men approaching.

    -Stefano looks angrily at Helena and warns her not to make him use the gun sooner than planned, and Helena says:

    Helena: You used me! You used me to get information on the Cassadine Empire, not to mention Mikkos.
    Stefano: Keep in mind you used me as well to get back at Mikkos for his affair with Alexis Davis’s mother.
    Helena: Oh but lets not forget the biggest of all…the secret and scheme you kept from me…that you were trying to…trying to….KILL MIKKOS! Not just because he had his own empire but because he was…YOUR COUSIN! THE SIXTH SON OF THE SIXTH SON!

    A guard escorts Sami to Lexis's holding cell. Lexi gets up off her cot and walks over towards the jail bars.

    Sami

    "Well I'm here. What the hell do you want Lexie? People do have lives to live you know. I was just so happening to be mourning EJ."

    Lexie

    "Look Sami, I am sorry for your loss. I called you down here to talk you about the security footage of Tek's accident."

    Sami

    " Oh, it's an accident now…Yea, what about it?"

    Lexie

    "You have to show the police. It's the only way to prove Tek's death was accident."

    Sami

    "Why should I help you Lexie? We've certainly never been the best of friends."

    Lexie

    "You really are a Bitch. You know as well as I do I did not kill Tek. You have the tape to prove it. You cant withhold evidence. I'm a mother Sami. Think of Theo"

    Sami

    "Oh yea Lexie, that's so productive towards your cause. Go ahead keep calling me names." And with that Sami turns away and begins to walk away.

    Lexie, hollering at her

    "Sami…. Samantha Jean! Don't leave! We're not done yet! You have to turn over that evidence."

    Sami, turning back around to look at her

    "Like hell I will."

    Lexie

    "We'll see about that."

    Sami

    "Is that a threat?"

    Lexie

    "Take it as you want it. "

    University Hospital

    Stefano's room, 4th floor

    Celeste slowly enters the Phoenix's room. She looks at all the hospital machines hooked up to Stefano. The sounds of the beeping from the machines hypnotizes Celeste into a flashback of Stefano's many heinous crimes against mankind in Salem and abroad. Celeste remembers when Lexie found out Stefano was her father. Celeste remembers feeling so disappointed and embarrassed and even ashamed to tell her daughter that her father was the evil Stefano Dimera. She comes out of her personal moment. She decides to get some words off her chest to Stefano. Something she hasn't been able to do in years.

    "It's a shame the only time you can listen to me is when your on your own your death bed. You've caused so many people so much pain. Even your own children. What kind of man are you? What kind of father does that? Trying to change Alexandra to be evil. You sick…sick Bastard. You have played with so many lives it's just fitting for yours to hang on by a thread. I hope your suffering you miserable bastard. I hope you die and burn in hell!" Celeste gets up and leaves the hospital room.





    Meanwhile, down the Hall

    Kristen slowly enters John's room. The sight of her beloved John in a catonic state immediately produces tears in Kristen's eyes. She grabs a chair and sits next to him. She grabs his hand and kisses it. She looks at him and begins to talk to him hoping he can hear her.

    "I'm back John. Yes it's me, the infamous Kristen Blake is back in Salem. I'm really sorry I had to come back and see you like this. It breaks my heart. You're a fighter Roman Brady. You're a strong man. You have got to pull through this. I know you will. I'm just really sorry this happened to you. Because of my father and these wars he keeps partaking in." She pauses, wiping away tears, trying to fight from really breaking down. She continues

    "I've missed you so much John. No one has ever loved me they way you loved me. I have never experience no greater love. Remember my strip tease I did for you at the Dimera mansion. That was so hot. You turn me on like that. You only bring that out in me.". She pauses remembering how while she stripped for John, Kristen had it on camera for Marlena to see in the secret room in the basement.

    "You know, Marlena has already warned me to stay away from you. If she caught me in here, she would probably try to kill me again" Then Kristen hears

    "Truer words never spoken" As the door slams and Kristen turns around to see a fuming Marlena with her shocked daughter Belle


    Night is becoming in Salem, and Hope, walks along The Pier.

    As she stops and gazes out into the water, the cold winds hits her face. She has a remembrance of her dream and being executed and Gina laughing at her. Hope tries to shake these thoughts from her head.

    "It's been such a hard year. My grandmother Alice, my son Shawn, then this madness with Gina. How much more can I take." She says as she wipes a tear. Looking up towards the heavens, "I'm so sorry Grand. I didn't mean to kill Gina. It was an accident." She looks back over the water. Hope then has a fantasy of Alice being at her execution for killing Gina. Alice tells Hope she is ashamed of her. Coming out her recurring fantasy and feeling guilty as ever, she pulls out a bottle of gin she purchased at the liquor store earlier in the evening.

    "I can't keep dealing with all this stress. I know Grand is rolling around in her grave right now. I have to make all this stop." Hope cracks the bottle of gin open and stares at it, she thinks of how good she will feel after she has a few swallows. Hope takes a gulp of the gin, drowning away her sorrows

    Victor is wrapping up a phone call as Vivian Alamin walks in.
    “I want the “New face of Bella” campaign up and running by the end of the day. Time is of the essence.” After saying that Victor hangs his phone up and looks at Vivian
    “What the hell are you doing here you old Battle Ax?”
    Vivian
    “Is that anyway to talk to an ex wife? I did give birth to Philip you know.”
    Victor
    “For the Love of God, Please don’t remind me. You stole Kate’s embryo so please, don’t act like you did us a favor. Now state your business Vivian.”
    Vivian, getting more relaxed, by sitting in a lounge chair
    “You know Stefano is on his death bed.”
    Victor
    “I’ve heard that so many times it’s pathetic. He’s the Phoenix. He’ll keep rising from the ashes.”
    Vivian
    “Not this time. The old man is going to croak for real this time. You should go take look for yourself.”
    Victor
    “My good adversary is about to finally meet his maker.” Victor pours himself some scotch.
    Vivian
    “I’ll take one of those too.”
    Victor
    “This isn’t the Brady pub.”
    Vivian
    “Why are you being so cold towards me?”
    Victor
    “Because your always up to no damn good Vivian. I don’t understand why you felt like you had to come all the way down here to tell me about Stefano.”
    Vivian
    “I know he’s your enemy and you might as well line up with his other enemies. Stefano’s will is at stake. I don’t want to subject myself to your rudeness any longer so I’ll be on my way.”
    Victor
    “The sooner the better” Vivian grabs her purse and leaves Victor’s office. Victor gets on the phone to Niko and tells him to bring the car around front, he’s going to see Stefano Dimera

    Celeste walks in to see her daughter Alexandria. Lexis is thrilled her mother has come to see her. Celeste asks her daughter how she is holding up. Lexie responds by saying she could be doing better if Sami would come to her senses and turn over the video tape of Tek’s accidental shooting. Celeste ask if Sami is up to her old tricks? Lexis answers back by saying She really hopes not. She told Sami to think of Theo. Lexie says she might have gotten through to Sami but we all know Sami is full of surprises .Celeste reassures her daughter, telling her to have faith, and she is sure Samantha will come to her senses. Celeste then goes on about her father Stefano “He’s really going to die this time. The world we be free of that evil man. ”Lexie responds by saying although Stefano is her father, she must admit, that maybe Stefano dying is a blessing everyone needs. Celeste agrees and takes it one step further by saying” I’ve done a lot for Stefano. He better have left something for me and you in that will. Lexie looks at her mother in a surprised state over her mothers greed like statement. Lexie wonders where this is coming from.

    University Hospital

    Marlena and Belle look at Kristen sitting next to Roman holding his hand
    Marlena
    “I though I asked you not to come see Roman.”
    Kristen
    “Marlena I really don’t want to fight. This is not good for John...er, Roman."
    Belle
    “Mom she’s right.”
    Marlena
    “Just get the hell out Kristen. Before I throw you out.”
    Kristen
    “Don’t get your panties in a bundle” Kristen says getting up
    Kristen
    “Belle it’s great to see you again. Maybe you can talk to your mother. She seems to have some built up tension inside her. She really need to let it go.”
    Marlena
    “Just get out Kristen.”
    Belle
    “Please, just leave Kristen” Kristen finally caves in and leaves
    Belle
    “I can’t believe she’s back in Salem.”
    Marlena
    “Oh I know, and I know she’s up to something” She says as she gazes at Roman

    The Dimera Mansion

    Anna sets a pot of coffee on the table in the living room as Tony is sitting on the couch starring of into space. Anna walks over and sits down next to him She calls out his name but he doesn’t respond. She tries again to get his attention but he still has a blank stare on his face. She shakes him.     Hope and Bo’s House

    Bo searches the whole house looking for his fancy face. After calling out to her and not seeing her, he decides to call the family and friends. After calling Kayla, Kim, Shane and Marlena, they all say they have not seen his fancy face. Bo wonders where the hell she could be after she left so abruptly the yesterday morning before. He realizes in fact he hasn’t seen Hope at all yesterday.” Something is not right.” He calls into the station to put an APB out on Hope.

    Meanwhile, down at the Pier, Nicole stumbles onto Hope, who is passed out drunk on the ground. She sees an empty bottle of gin laying next to her. Nicole panics, not expecting to see such a pillar of the community passed out drunk down at the Pier. She calls for an ambulance………
