Minor news for LIS, but usually and especially on LIS contracts mean more airtime! And recently new contracts have been inked: -Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell's contracts ended this month, and they just signed new contracts that will keep them around for TWO more years! -Constance Towers has been upped to contract status with LIS! LIS feels that because in coming months she will receive massive airtime, she deserves a contract!

LIS can now reveal that Heather Olson(Lilly Spears, ex-Jan) has been fired from the LIS cast. "I loved having Heather back, and I did enjoy writing for Lilly." the headwriter informed when asked to comment on why Olson was fired "But Lilly was a supporting character and small. She had a freindship with Sam, twin of Jan, and even had a small romance with Max. But the character's time has come. Her crimes were revealed and everything we had planned for her was already played out. We had to cut her from her contract early.." Also, rumours have started swirling that Lisa Trusel(ex-Melissa Horton) will return to LIS! The headwriter even commented on it: "It's a very strong possiblity, I've been wanting Lisa back for awhile, but we are still in talks with her. She would play a big role in this up coming story "The War". There may be returns in this huge story, she could be next!" the headwriter commented

It's a rumour that's been swirling for a long time now, but not really brought to light. The DiMera clan has been rebuilt and is almost complete. All the Brady's except Frankie are in Salem so that family is strong. About all the Evans except Frank, Martha, and the deceased Trista Evans are on the cast. The Kiriakis's have several on the cast. But what about the Horton's?! "We are going to rebuild the Horton clan," the headwriter states but then sighs "Recently the beloved Lanna Saunders passed away. John Lupton(ex-Tommy Horton) and all but one of the Bill's have passed away as well. Then of course Macdonald Carey is now deceased. It has made me realize we might be slowly losing the original genration of Horton's. Though we cannot use them much anymore, the Horton's are not gone! Much more is to be done, but right now I can say that soon a person that has a connection to the Horton's will be brought on. This one will be a shocker. I promise you. It will send tons of people's lives into a tumble."

I LOVE it but this death is so sad! I am like Tishy. You guys will write this so good it will make me cry, lol! And, like the casting for Spencer Olsen, even if it is just for a guest stint.

Though LIS is still on official hiatus, there has been released from LIS an EXCLUSIVE preview on what is to come for The Cassadines vs. DiMera's! "The War": "The War" is the official name for this brand new LIS story, though it is not exactly a war with guns. It will be a journey and an all out battle with all of Salem involved. Every single character on LIS and possibly MORE! This story will feature returns, exits, and excitement. Currently alot of stories on LIS have reached or are soon to reach the climax/turning point. And no matter what it is THEY ALL will be involved with this story. Basically, the chandelier incident at Chez Rouge and the death of Alice Horton has sparked everything. The death of Alice was natural but it will cause quite a bit of stir in Salem. Alice also saved the Horton's lives at Chez Rouge. Meanwhile Stefano has three goals in this war: Eliminate Helena Cassadine, destroy the whole Brady and Horton families. Helena wants EJ to overthrow Stefano and take the DiMera throne. Helena believes he is the rightful DiMera heir and because of Nikolas's rejection to be the Cassadine heir now believes that is EJ's place as well. Also during this storyline why Stefano and Helena had a child but are enemies will be revealed. But how does the rest of Salem get drawn in? It's simple! Stefano sees his chance to destroy all his enemies. It eventually leads to all of Salem fighting against each other. Just about all of Salem has a tie to Stefano so it will be huge. But how will this all unravel and what will happen? Tune into LIS to find out!

Well thank the Lord Nicole is older than at first thought! I know Megan had to get plastic surgery because of the whole Larry issue and the fight, but this makes me wonder: Is the reason you chose Gina Togoni, is because she might be a little more sensible for late thirties than Wilson? Because I don't remember if we ever knew Megan's birth date, but since she is around Hope's age, she would be in her early fourties normally.

SON member daysfan, the headwriter and executive producer of SONBC's own "Life in Salem" after much consideration has decided to have LIS go on a temporary hiatus. daysfan thought about ending the blog but decided against it because it had gone too far now to end. The reasoning was daysfan had no time to write episodes, so DF decided to take a small break. "It will be back soon." daysfan promises So, tune in when LIS returns to see the aftermath of Shawn's killer revealed, Alice Horton's death, and the incident at Chez Rouge!

Episode#134 -Steve hears Greta say he is her father! -Bo and Hope share a tearful reunion. Alice watches in joy from heaven. -Maggie wakes up. She yells “Mickey!” but the rescue team tells her to calm down. Maggie says she feels like her husband is trying to tell her something…. -Tony desperately searches for Anna. He screams her name out. He hears “T-Tonnyyyy….” and he finds her under a large chandelier. She was hit by one of the largest. He screams “Anna! No!” the rescue team comes and then they immediately call the paramedics. The paramedics say to Tony she has been heavily injured and they are losing her fast! *Days of Our Lives Opening* -Kristen and Sam rot in prison. Kristen accuses Sam of this being all her fault! Kristen says she finally had a clean slate, and she should have taken it but no, she had to go after that stupid shrink! She says she hates Marlena but Marlena is so pathetic she is no reason for a person to ruin their life! -Stefano, Lexie, Megan, and Celeste all arrive at Stefano’s hideout inside Salem. Megan tells Stefano Bo and Hope saw her….and Lexie says everyone now knows who she is with. Stefano tells his daughters not to worry, and that the time to stay hidden has passed. -Helena sneaks out of Chez Rouge un-hurt. She tells herself things must be getting serious now. She says no more games….she WILL destroy Stefano DiMera! -Kim is brought out of Chez Rouge with Kayla. Kayla checks on Kim and luckily, she is fine. Kim tells Kayla to hurry and get to Steve. -John and Marlena are happily reunited! Marlena tearfully tells John she thought she lost him. John says they need to hurry and find his mother Caroline! As they run Marlena notices John is starting to acknowledge Caroline is his mother… -Tony begs Anna to live. He says he cannot lose her….after all these years of being apart and he just got to see her again…he whispers in her ear he loves her! Anna’s eyes open barely and she sees Tony……that gives her the will to live! The paramedics are shocked as Anna’s pulse and heart rate go back up. -Kayla runs over to Steve. She wonders why Greta is with him. Kayla begins to check on him…she then sighs a breath of relief as she says Steve seems fine. Greta is relieved as well. -In the Horton House, the door slowly creaks open and a person in a ski mask creeps in. They take off the mask but their face is not seen. They walk over to Alice’s body and says in a mechanical voice“Oh, Alice Horton. You always were a sweet and kind one. It is just unfortunate another Horton has died. And you never got the satisfactory of knowing that I was the one who murdered your grandson…” And then the killer removes the voice mechanism and after their face is shown and Shawn Douglas Brady's killer is revealed to be.......... PRINCESS GINA VON AMBERG!
