Episode#84 -Philip is angry when he discovers Belle and Claire have gone back to Salem! He tries to leave to go after them but is stopped by Margaret! -Jan plays innocent and asks what he means, but Shawn tells her he knows that she is Mimi’s surrogant! Jan is shocked Shawn knows, and she tries to lie, but fails so she admits it! She tells Shawn she isn’t his surrogant though, and he is confused. -Sam says all shrinks are phonies! Lilly tells Sam she IS going to see a shrink! They then get into a fierce argument over it. -Faux Roman is shocked to see Hattie. Hattie is thrilled to see Faux Roman! She immediately greets him. -Helena meets with EJ in an ally, and they plan on how to bring down Stefano! -Nikki tries to escape from Victor’s mansion. -Steve and Kayla are stunned to learn whoever faked Steve’s death might have something to do with Victor Lord! Rex tells them that means the place they want to go to investigate next is his former mansion, Llanfair. -Caroline runs into Victor, she is still torn over having to spend Christmas without Shawn Sr., Victor comforts her. -John and Susan come face to face! -Lexie arrives back at the Carver house, Abe sees her and they are both silent. Lexie asks what he’s doing out of jail, and Abe tells her he was proved innocent, but she was proved guilty! He tells Lexie he has to arrest her, and she breaks down as he does. -Rex asks Willow why she did that, and she says to stop him, because if he has a brain, he’s not going to get a chance to save “whatshername” from jail. -Margaret holds Philip at gunpoint, he tells her to buzz of and tries to get the gun from her but she says oh no, and says he’s coming with her, NOW! She takes him to her car and drives off towards Salem! -Marlena is shocked when she opens the door to see Belle and Claire, they then share a wonderful reunion. -Willow takes Rex back to Salem. -Jan tells Shawn she’s not carrying Mimi and his baby, she’s carrying THEIR baby! Shawn is shocked, and thinks it is a trick! Jan says she admits the truth, and the truth is that she switched Mimi’s egg with hers’ at the last minute, so she’s pregnant with his baby!

Loved the ending!!!!! Can't wait to see what Hope tries to do! Kim and Shane! Loved their scenes!

Great episode!!!!!! Hope they save Alice. Interesting discovery about Cassie.

Episode#83 -The next morning, Cassie is desperate to find Rex, but is still stuck in the hospital! -Hope and Bo decide to name one of their daughters Addie, after Hope’s mother, and the other one Pamela. Hope then asks Bo if he will move back in with her! -Belle and Claire finally escape from Philip and head back to Salem! -Steve and Kayla meet with Rex Balsom at Rody’s, and he says he’s been investigating over the past few days, and he thinks whoever faked Steve’s death had something to do with Victor Lord. -Faux Roman and Hattie run into each other at Salem Place! -Lilly visits Sam, and Sam tells her she isn’t going to see a shrink! -Rex is seen at a bar outside Salem, he triees to get the bartender to give him another drink, but the bartender refuses. Rex then gets angry and tries to get a bottle himself, but it is taken and thrown by Willow! -Shawn angrily bursts into the Spears Mansion! He grabs Jan and pushes her on the couch, she asks what’s wrong but he says to just shut her mouth and he’s come to take care of her once and for all! -The Hortons all leave Salem and go back to their lives, however Nick decides to stick around to get to know the Hortons! -Helena walks around Salem, watching all of it’s citizens. She says “Well Salem, ready or not, here I come.”

Life in Salem would like to remind viewers that a couple of casting calls are still going out, and that they would like viewers to choose their people quickly. LIS is still looking for an early to mid forties man to play the role of Daphne DiMera's son, and Tony's brother. He is expected to appear after the new year. LIS is also looking for a man in his early twenties to play Jeremy Horton since Brandon Tyler was cut. The recast should appear in late January if not sooner. Also, LIS is putting out a casting call for another man in mid/late teens to his very early twenties. The role is going to be a potential love interest for Abby(Ashley Benson). And, last, the show would like to recast Will Roberts. The show wants a mid-late teen male to play the role. And, Life in Salem also has some casting news: All of the guest stars that have appeared lately, will be exiting the show probably within the next few episodes, as all of the roles except one were temporary. Blake Berris(Nick Fallon), who has been a guest since Thanksgiving, has joined the show on a recurring basis. Nick will stick around Salem, and rumour has it he will have a story with Chelsea. The show has been asked Susan and Bill Hayes' status with the show, as originally when Life in Salem started airing they were supposedly on recurring. But, as of last month they were listed as guests. The show finally answered, and replied that unfortunately they have been taken off recurring, but will still appear randomly and be listed as guests. Finally, in a stunning turn of events, after speculation and things looking down for him, Kyle Brandt's contract has been renewed with the show! A Life in Salem rep commented that this was most unexpected, and they had already looking into recasting, but at the last minute Brandt renewed his contract! Which means he will be sticking around as Philip.

Episode#82 -It is Christmas day in Salem! All of the Hortons hang ornaments, while at the same time John reads the Christmas story at the hospital! -Abe spends a nice Christmas with Theo, but is worried about Lexie. -Chelsea and Billie are at the Brady Pub for Christmas, Billie tells Chelsea today she’s going to set things straight with Bo. -Rex is no where to be found on Christmas! Cassie and Kate worry that he has done something drastic because of Mimi going to prison! -Margaret tells Victor she has a Christmas present for him, and that is that she found Philip! -Sami and Lucas are with Will at the Horton house, and Alice tells Sami with a wink that she thinks Sami will be getting an ornament next year. -Caroline mourns Shawn Sr., she says this is her first Christmas without him. Maggie mourns Mickey as well. -Mike and Jeremy spend time together on Christmas. As do Abby, Jack Jr., Jennifer, and Jack. -Kayla is sad that she, Stephanie, and Kim cannot be with their family for Christmas. She finds comfort in Steve, but he’s still hesitant because he does not remember her. -Helena and EJ reunite, Helena tells EJ it is time they wreak havoc on Salem personally! -Belle spends Christmas in captivity, but she finally manages to break free of the ropes she is in! She quickly tries to find Claire while Philip is away! -John continues to read the Christmas story at the hospital, and is gives him joy to do so. Marlena however wishes Sam could be there. -Lexie finally escapes from Stefano! She gets out of the dungeon he put her in and confronts him and tells him she is a good person now and won’t have any of his lies, she then says she’s spending Christmas with her child! Before Stefano can stop her she manages to escape from the DiMera mansion. -Hope and Bo spend Christmas together, and continue to get closer to reuniting. -The Hortons finish hanging their ornaments, and Alice wishes them all a Merry Christmas. Suddenly, a light is shown in the doorway, and they all look towards it. They see the glowing figure of TOM HORTON there. Alice yells “Tom!” and she smiles, she tells her family Tom has returned to spend the holidays with them. Tom smiles at Alice, and she says “Merry Christmas to you as well, my darling Tom.” And the screen fades to black…

Oh my!!!! This is gonna be a big week for SL! Can't wait for it all!

Oh, this is still so creepy and scary!!!!!!!!! EEEEEK!!!! I am excited at the same time, lol. What gets me is who would attack Alice Horton....very, very strange and mysterious....by far your best mystery yet!

Episode#81 -It is Christmas Eve in Salem! -Mimi is in the Salem jail, about to be transported to a prison outside of Salem. Bonnie and Rex come to visit, Bonnie is in tears and she tells Mimi she is a failure as a mother and if she had raised her children right Patrick would not be dead and Mimi would not be going to prison for twenty five years! Mimi tells her it’s not her fault, and then Rex tells Mimi he has come to say goodbye! -The Horton’s celebrate Christmas Eve at Maggie’s house! Julie gets to talk to David and Scotty, Hope has a pleasant reunion with Steve and Spencer, and all the other Hortons interact. -Marlena arrives at St.Luke’s to make a prayer, she lights a candle and prays God can deliver Belle and Claire back to their family by Christmas. -Belle continues to try to escape from Philip, but Philip tells her it won’t work. Belle tells him she can’t believe he is doing this, and this isn’t the Philip she loved and married! -At Maggie’s house, Bo and Hope discuss names for their twins. -Steve and Kayla regretfully call Salem and tell Caroline they won’t be home for Christmas. -Celeste discovers that Lexie is missing and desperately tries to find her! -Sami is at the Salem Inn, she is continuously troubled by Abe and the Tek murder case. She wonders what she should do, and then finally says she’s sick of all the secrets! She grabs where she is keeping the security camera tape of Lexie killing Tek and heads to the police station. -Mimi tears up when it comes to Rex, he tears up as well. He tells her he knows she didn’t do this and is going to try to find a way to prove her innocent! She thanks him, but she doesn’t want him to throw his life away investigating something. He says he doesn’t care. He then says he wants to tell her something….something he has wanted to tell her ever since he came back to Salem. He then confesses to Mimi he loves her! -A limbo is seen driving into Salem, it heads towards Salem Place! -Mimi cries more when Rex confesses, she says she loves him too and she may have loved Shawn, but she realized that they just would never work out! She tells Rex she wants to be with him! Rex says him too, but she’s going to jail. They both cry as the guards come to take Mimi out of her cell and transport her out of Salem. They pull Mimi out but Rex tells them to stop, he says he has something to tell her first, he walks up to Mimi and says “I will always love you Mimi…don’t ever forget that.” and then they share a passionate and final kiss right before Mimi is carried off in tears. -Sami bursts into the police department, few officers are there, but Faux Roman is one of them. She says “Dad! Oh yeah…” and sighs, but then she says she came here for something important. She says she has important evidence that will prove Abe innocent of murdering Tek! She pulls out the security tape of Lexie killing Tek and tells Faux Roman to play it! -The black limbo pulls into Salem Place, it is quiet as few shoppers walk around. -Faux Roman is confused, but plays the security tape! He is shocked when he sees Lexie killed Tek! He quickly goes down to free Abe. Once he gets down there he tells him a Christmas Miracle has occurred for him, and lets him out. Abe asks how, and Faux Roman reveals how, Abe thanks Sami….but is stunned to learn Lexie killed Tek! -The driver of the limbo gets out of the car and heads over to the back seat , he opens the door and says “Welcome to Salem, Mrs.Cassadine.” and then Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is seen stepping out of the sleek limbo and looking upon Salem.

Eeeek, so creepy! Love all the Christmas celebrating stuff though with the Horton's, Brady's, Black's, and everyone else! lol

Episode#80 -Mimi’s trial begins! Judge Fitzpatrick calls upon the district attorney to call his first witness, and he calls Cassie! -Ivan is nervous by Forrest’s words, and desperately tries to find Vivian! -Sam is shocked. She tells Lilly she’s not crazy and ain’t gonna go to see some psychiatrist. Lilly says “Yes you are, or I won’t break you out of here.” -Cassie is called to the stand! A nurse wheels her up to the stand and she purs her hand on the Bible and swears to tell the truth. Mimi thinks to herself she won’t. The district attorney asks Cassie what happened the night Mimi pushed her, and Cassie recalls what happened that night. She says she heard something in Belle and Philip’s loft, so she went inside, there was nothing, and then that was when Mimi came in and the fight began… -EJ comes back into his room at the Salem Inn with Spencer Cassadine’s former nanny Colleen (Amanda Tepe). She asks him what she wants and she needs to get to her son. EJ says he bets she does and asks her where Helena Cassadine is! -Mimi’s lawyer cross examines Cassie. He says that supposedly, right before she fell out the window Mimi was in her loft with Rex. And asks how Mimi could’ve gotten to Cassie and pushed her in a short amount of time like that. Cassie says that Mimi left her loft and was not seen for a few minutes, and that was when Mimi pushed her. Cassie finally after a few minutes leaves the stand. -Rex leaves the courtroom and heads to where Willow lives, once he gets there he tells Willow he needs her help. -The district attorney then shows the court all the evidence against Mimi. He says first of all, the security camera’s show Mimi going into the loft and just mere minutes later Cassie was pushed out the window. He says second, they found Mimi’s earring right beside where Cassie fell. He then tells them Mimi hates Cassie very much because of Cassie’s objection to Mimi in a relationship with Cassie’s brother, Rex. -Steve and Kayla continue to investigate Llanview, they pass Llanfair and Steve says it looks familiar! -The trial continues as the district attorney shows the jury that Cassie’s clothes have Mimi’s finger prints all over them, possibly from Mimi pushing Cassie out the window. Mimi flashes back to a cat fight they had that same day! She begins to worry. -All the Hortons gather for Mickey’s funeral. Shawn leaves the courthouse and heads to the Church, as do Bo and Hope. All the Hortons congratulate Bo and Hope on their new daughters. Before the funeral begins, Laura looks to the door and yells “Mike!” -Greta is continuously troubled by her paternity, Eric comforts her, and it causes her to nearly reveal her paternity to him! -Erin and Max continue to spend time together and bond. -The district attorney then calls his next witness, which is Rex! Rex comes back into the courtroom just in time and goes up to the stand. The district attorney begins to question him. -Mike (Roark Critchlow) walks into the grave yard! The Hortons are shocked to see him, followed by Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Jack (Matt Ashford), Scotty Banning (Rick Hearst), David Banning (Gregg Marx), Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer), Spencer Olson (unknown), Tommy Horton (John Lupton), and Sandy Horton (Pamela Roylance). Lucas and Will (Chris Gerse) arrive as well. Alice is thrilled to have her family all gathered together again, and they all mourn Mickey. His funeral begins as Alice stands and recalls all her greatest times with Mickey. -The DA asks Rex what he was doing the night Cassie was pushed, Rex says he was at his loft with Mimi, he says they shared a kiss. Then she left shortly after. Then soon after that Cassie was pushed. He however then tells him he doesn’t believe Mimi did it, and thinks someone else did. The district attorney has no further questions for Rex, and Rex steps down. John whispers to Marlena that it seems almost everyone knows Mimi is innocent. The district attorney has no further witnesses to call, because he has enough evidence that should convince the jury. Judge Fitzpatrick asks Mimi’s lawyer to call his first witness, and he calls Mimi to the stand! -Sami leaves the courtroom, troubled by all of this reminding her of Abe and her knowing he is innocent and Lexie is the real murderer! She again remembers how Lexie has nothing on her now, and also it would be the right thing to do to reveal that Abe was innocent. She is still uncertain. -Colleen tells EJ she doesn’t know where some Helena is! She gets nervous and tries to leave but he grabs her and says he wants the truth! -Alice finishes recalling all her greatest times with Mickey, and she tells all the Hortons to not mourn him in sadness, but in happiness, because that is what Mickey would want, Tom as well. She says he is watching over them right now, as is Tom. She sits down and Laura comes up, she recalls the time she and Mickey were married, she says even though it didn’t work out, she would always love him and that would be an important memory in her life. Alice smiles as Laura sits down. -Mimi is on the stand. Her lawyer asks her if she pushed Cassie, Mimi says no. She asks where she was when Cassie was pushed, Mimi then replied that she was just walking into the loft. The lawyer then asks how her ear ring fell off, Mimi says it fell off right before she went into the loft, so when she put it back on she was loose. She says the reason she was scene at the crime scene was because she was the one who found Cassie, and that was when her ear ring fell off. The lawyer then asks what about the clothes, Mimi says she and Cassie had a fight earlier, because Cassie was persistence in keeping her away from Rex, and that was exactly why she tried to frame her! The lawyer says he has no further questions and goes to sit down. The district attorney then begins to cross examine Mimi! -Willow goes into Cassie’s room at the hospital, she says she doesn’t know how to do this but she’s gonna try. -Mike stands up at Mickey’s funeral and begins to talk about how for a while he thought of Mickey as is father, he says he knows Bill is his father, but on the inside Mickey will always be a father to him. He then sits down. Melissa then comes up and says even though he wasn’t her biological father, he is in her heart. She says he was always a person she could turn to. She says she will miss him, but she knows he is happy. -The district attorney asks Mimi if she conspired against Belle Black Kiriakis and Shawn Brady to keep the paternity, Mmi’s lawyer objects to it not being relevant, the DA says this will prove relevance once he continues, Judge Fitzpatrick lets the DA continue. Mimi sadly says she did, then the DA asks the jury why should they believe her when she is also manipulative, he then asks if she had an abortion of her baby with the victim’s brother and kept it from him. She says yes, the DA then says no further questions, because it is obvious no one can believe a word out of her mouth so she did push Cassie out the window. Judge Fitzpatrick asks if both sides are finished, and they both say yes. The jury is then dismissed to make a decision! -Mickey’s funeral continues, as Sarah comes up to make her speech about Mickey. She says she also knows she was not his biological child, but she is in her heart. She says that no matter what anyone says she always will be. She then recalls all the good times she had with Mickey, and says he was a great, great man and certainly was a true Horton. She tearfully tells him goodbye and goes to sit down. Then, lastly, Maggie comes up. -EJ finally after a while forces Colleen to tell him where Helena is! She confesses and says Helena is tied up and gagged at Wyndermere castle! EJ lets go of Colleen and heads off to rescue Helena. -Sami visits Abe in jail, she says she’s sorry about all that has happened. She says she knows he didn’t kill Tek. Abe asks Sami how she can be so certain, it’s almost like she knows something. He then wonders if she could help him and asks if she knows something that prove him innocent! -Lilly tells Sam she is going to set their plan in motion after Christmas! -The jury is in deliberation for quite some time. Mimi asks her lawyer what is going on, her lawyer just responds that this was a very odd case, and both sides were very strong, so it could take a bit. Bonnie tries to reassure Mimi everything will be alright. Finally, the jury comes back out! -Maggie tells all the Hortons she had wonderful times with Mickey, and he was a great man. She says she loved him eternally, and she would do anything for him. She begins to tear up, she says Mickey and her went through hard times, but they went through happy times as well. She says but whatever they went through it was always together, and their love came out on top in the end. She then tells everyone that when he married her it made her the happiest woman in the world and she cherished all the time they had together, she said he had strength before his death, and he would want her to be happy. She says she has had relationships with other men, but none of them oculd ever match up to Mickey. She cries as she says goodbye to her husband and goes to sit down. Then the Hortons all head outside as Mickey’s coffin is wheeled out as well…. -Judge Fitzpatrick asks if the jury has made a decision, and they say they have. They then give the judge the verdict. Judge Fitzpatrick tells the defendant to stand, so Mimi and her lawyer do. Judge Fitzpatrick then announces that Mimi has been charged with the attempted murder of Cassie Brady, and has been declared guilty! Mimi breaks down and screams “No!” as Bonnie does the same, everyone in the courtroom is shocked, meanwhile Jan and Cassie both silently rejoice! -All the Hortons are gathered outside as Mickey’s coffin is about to be lowered into the ground, they all tear up, especially Maggie, Melissa, and Sarah, as the coffin is finally put into the ground. Finally, Mickey’s funeral ends and all the Hortons leave the graveyard to head to Mickey and Maggie’s house. Maggie however stays, she leans down and says to the ground “Oh Mickey…how I will miss you. But, I know you would want me to live a happy life, so I will. But I promise, I will always keep your memory alive and NEVER forget you. Now, goodbye, my darling.” and she tearfully leaves St.Luke’s.

Life in Salem has recnetly aired a brand new promo, but not a weekly one. It is one about the return of one of Salem's greatest vixens, Kristen Blake DiMera. Here is the promo for fans to read now! Episode#79 -It is the day of Mimi’s trial! Bonnie and John continue to search for evidence that will free Mimi, but to no avail! Cassie relishes in the fact that after this trial Mimi will go to jail! -Sami is guilted by the evidence she has that could clear Abe! She remembers how since she confessed to Austin and Carrie about what she did, Lexie has nothing on her. Lucas notices Sami is troubled and asks her what’s wrong. -Shawn visits Mimi at jail, she tells him she was recently served with divorce papaers, and asks if he’s here to talk about that. Shawn says no, and he’s here to tell her their surrogant is Jan Spears! -Lilly visits Sam. She says she has an escape plan all worked out, Sam says she should’ve been there last night. Sam says to Lilly that after they escape they can head to Salem, but Lilly stops her saying she is taking her to see a psychiatrist. -Maggie tells Abby that last night Jeremy came home, and was bruised and hurt all over! She says he was attacked by thugs! -Margaret gets an important lead on Philip’s whereabouts! -Marlena heads to the courthouse with John, John tells her he has a bad feeling about this, and feels Mimi shouldn’t be going to jail! Marlena is curious as well. She then gets off the subject and tells him Susan Banks is back in town! -Forrest walks through the Alamain Mansion, getting his suit on. Ivan asks if he’s seen Vivian anywhere, Forrest replies that he has taken care of Vivian, and for him not to worry, -Mimi is shocked! But before she can react the guards come and take her away to the courtroom. Shawn follows, but Rex pulls him aside saying he thinks Mimi didn’t do this! -Bo and Hope are happily at their house, with their two new twin daughters! Megan watches from outside and says their happiness will be short lived. -Mimi is brought into the courtroom and seated beside hear lawyer. Rex, Shawn, Jan, Marlena, John, Faux Roman, Caroline, Bonnie, and other Salem citizens are all in the seats behind the district attorney and Mimi’s seats. Cassie is wheeled into the courtroom in a wheel chair. Judge Fitzpatrick comes out and the trial begins!

Episode#78 -Lexie is shocked by Stefano’s statement! She desperately tries to escape, but Stefano says there is no way to escape. He has guards take Lexie away for now. -Celeste has a vision of someone dying on New Year’s Eve! -Jan just walks passed Nicole and heads to Belle and Philip’s loft. -Shawn realizes Paprica Springs is really Jan…which means Jan is his surrogant! -Mimi says for the last time she didn’t push Cassie! Rex is hesitant, she begs him to believe her. She begs him to believe her. Rex finally looks into her eyes and determines that she must be telling the truth! He vows to prove her innocent. -Susan tells Marlena she’s fine, and she got a feeling she needed to come to Salem for the holidays. She says Elvis and Edmund didn’t come though. Marlena happily says Susan is always welcome here. -Nikki says she will escape from his mansion and Salem! Victor just laughs and tells security to take her away. -Forrest (Dan Gauthier) tells Vivian he’s back to reclaim the Alamain inheritance! -Jan climbs a window to get inside Belle and Philip’s loft. John arrives too however, so Jan hides and pulls out a gun, she says she won’t go to jail….and John says there is no way Mimi could’ve pushed Cassie… -Anna finally convinces Faux Roman not to arrest Tony, saying he had to shoot Andre due to the circumstances. Anna and Tony leave the Pub, Tony thanks Anna. Anna tells him it was no problem. Tony then tells Anna he has a child out there that he has to find. -Stefano watches Tony and Anna, and he says he will never find his child, even though it is right here in Salem. He says he is the only one alive that knows who it is. He then reveals to himself that Tony and Renee’s child is JAN SPEARS!

O-U-T The Blind item that was discovered earlier, said a role that recently came on had been recast. Now, just hours later, the blind item is revealed. Apparently, Brandon Tyler (Jeremy Horton, ex-Philip) has been let go from the role of Jeremy. "I love Tyler...but I think we might need someone a little bit older ad experienced to play Jeremy. He just didn't fit in, so we had to recast." the headwriter said However, the show is asking for the fans help on who to play Jeremy. "LIS wants early to mid twenties, could interact romantically with Rachel Melvin, and of course could act.
