  1. The "Judy Winslow Effect." I've always hated it. Especially when it can be remedied with perfect ease. Greg Vaughan's "Kial" can be used as a current example. Isn't he supposed to be a traveling physician? Why not have incorporated that into the dialog to help explain his abrupt disappearance after giving Nicole that one and done neck massage that he gave her? It's the little things that often make a big difference.
  2. OK, but now what? Like someone perfectly stated, he's part of that league of characters who are "JUST THERE." There's nothing about him that's standing out and I don't think some roll in the hay with Eva counts.
  3. Izaiah Hawthorne is another character that needs to be worked on. I don't sense the former badness that everyone accuses him of. I know he's supposed to be reformed but still. And maybe that's a mistake. Both Hawthorne brothers are do-gooders. There's no drama in that.
  4. Too many characters who are "JUST THERE." Yep. That is just one of several problems with this show. They have all of these people so why aren't they using them? Isn't it their job to write?
  5. Ashley is ultimately going to have Andre, I do believe. Jordi's character is very likely the classic latest soap distraction before the real love birds come to fruition.
  6. Yes. Why just that one white lady and that one black lady who happen to play best friends on the show upgraded and no one else? But you're right, it certainly isn't bothersome, just curious.
  7. So Jon Lindstrom receives the honor. I guess he and ho bag Vanessa will really be "ruling the roost" now. Kinda weird that only two cast members received updated pics while everyone else got zilch.
  8. Today's episode ran just like it has all along aka nothing has changed (besides the opening pics of two cast members). Greg Vaughan's introduction and instantaneous disappearance was silly and made no sense. Didn't they kind of hype his hiring?
  9. The season two promo for BTG doesn't look any better in my opinion. I honestly don't know what they're thinking at this point after this show has now been pummeled with criticism for almost its entire first year run. They will not succeed based on complacency.
  10. Um.....no. Referring to MVJ as a "bootlicker" were the words and the opinions of someone else's opinionated video of the show itself. The man was more than entitled to state HIS beliefs. What he said certainly didn't hurt my feelings, and the show made it's debut despite what he had to say.
  11. I hope this season two video is "hiding" more intriguing material, so to speak. Dani and Andre sex scenes? Where have I seen those before? Oh, nevermind.
  12. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump away from season two, and all I can say is that the " captain of the ship" and all who work with her have got to be aware by now of what's working and what isn't. If they've lurked around on various platforms, they will have seen everything that people have been talking about enough to compile a list. Whether or not anything at all has been taken to heart certainly remains to be seen. In my opinion, however, the actors themselves, are the LEAST of this show's problems.
  13. Darlene "The Invisible Woman" Hawthorne is a ridiculous character to be utilizing the way that they're using her. She currently exists on canvas, but not in plain sight, as the wife of the Chief of Police and mother to the three Hawthorne sons. She supposedly just had a dinner date with Jacob and Izaiah and she shares a home with her husband Elon. Why are they utilizing this character without a face in the role? Mentioning Luke is much easier because he's not in close proximity. But Darlene lives, works, and interacts with her family without a visible presence. At this point, at least hire a quick day player actress to play her.
  14. All I have to say is that the crap will hit the fan if Vernon and Sharon really are creeping around just as Anita is on the verge of a possible medical crisis. NASTY! But I have been silently giving this show the "side eye" about certain things, so I'll leave it at that until further revelation.
  15. Marcel borrowed one of OG Ted's turtlenecks. I thought he looked rather nice.
  16. Why does this character's background sound similar to Andre? Traveling place to place, romancing women, hasn't found the right one to settle down with? Well, the difference is that he has two adult male sons which I find interesting. This makes it sound as if the show might be trying to build several families beyond the Duprees. First the Hawthornes and now maybe the Rollins too?
  17. It's funny how another platform asked the question about Vernon in the form of a poll: Is Vernon taking singing lessons? Is Vernon having an affair? Some people responded by saying BOTH. Lol. For me, Vernon having an affair would not be a problem if it weren't for the show having already taken that skeevy path twice. Three times in quick succession in addition to the loaded hypocrisy of it would make me side eye such a writing decision.
