Ambridge at war is a prequel and sooo good. but oh my gosh there are so many. But the yearly Books Like Family Ties which Covers 1951 til 1967 and the follow up Books that go until 2000 are a must read for a archers listener who is interested in the history of the show. There is another one but I have to Check in my Shelve the Name of it. It was a Bit more proper than the first thirty Years anniversary book in my opinion. there will be a The Archers: Live at 75 tour this year and i ordered my ticket. Can’t wait. But I noticed a while back that the Radio episodes from 2007/08-ish til Today have been deleted from YouTube. Thank god I downloaded Most of it and that the Old recaps are somewhat available and that I Managed to Download the 1995/96-ish Ones.

I Own Most Of The annuals and Anniversary Books and the 3 Books that covered Like the main Stories from the first few Decades and stuff. I love the archers but since the 2010‘s it tried to be Like the other soaps on Telly and lost some of what made it great. Sometimes it’s Even a bit boring but I still Listen to the archers over watching some eastenders or Emmerdale lately lol

I feel Like This for Years by now. Anton and Laura got axed because of Budget cuts but then they bring her back. That was Odd. I Thought it was the OG actor. Thanks for the Fun fact They have some storylines and I just don’t care to be honest. Season Finales were always exciting and the biggest thing and it’s Like u said: a punishment to watch it. And what the hell is even that new Bing and Nina Story? That came out of nowhere. That we didn’t Even got a proper News Information about the Old shanti actress leaving and just when the new one got hired was the weirdest thing that happened. New Chanti has Like no Chemistry with anyone It’s Like they sit in the writers room and Roll the dice who they put together in a story and see how it fits. They also make up their twists and turns as the go These Days.

I feel u. But I did enjoy a lot of it still. It was fun for me to watch Andreas Elsholz as Heiko Richter growing into his character over time. The André Holms story who was hired by Lilo to pretend to Elisabeth to be her Long lost son was great. It wasn‘t all bad and some had it’s Charme but it was rough. I watched unter uns, verbotene Liebe Classics and there was some wooden acting and stuff but there was already a vibe that clicked. I still love the early years cause they worked hard and I loved Daniel, Hilda Gundlach (The Faux Hilda).. Frank Ulrich. But in 1994/95 when they hired a bit more professional actors and actresses it got better. U could tell who was hired from the street, from the theatre or from acting schools. But 1995-96 was the year that made GZSZ what it is today! The Introduction of the Morenos, Flo, Andy, Nico and All of them and the exits of some oldies. Everyone said on our German boards that Andreas elsholz was the worst but I disagree.. I Thought Claudia Weiske (Elke Opitz) was the worst and she got one big Story After another. At least Alexander Kirsch (Patrick Graf) and Andreas (Heiko) got better and the pairing of Elke and Patrick made her Change her Acting Style a bit.

Especially After Kay and Jill even became Friendly with each other. Jill needs someone to get challenged lol

Idk what it is but when Passions was leaning into their whacky Camp and stuff it was cringe but OK.. But when DAYS is doing This It makes me so uncomfortable. I don’t dig those half assed cringey promos and stuff. I love the actor of Leo especially as Kevin on Y&R but he’s doing nothing for me on DAYS. He’s Not popular around here but on other Sites. Maybe they eat up every gay rep on tv even if the Story is Bad or good as long as we have established gay characters on tv. Please don’t tell me they just did an recast on Some of the best characters from the 90‘s on such an handsome Guy to kill him off?

Jill vs Kay obviously! Clarissa von Anstetten vs Tanja von Lahnstein on the German Soap Verbotene Liebe! They were Running That Show for Years Man. I would Like to put Victor vs Jack from Y&R… But After I finished my Marco anicelli arc from 2015.. bruh F that. Jack will never win and I’m sick of Victor

Getting rid of Victor Newman on Y&R! I love Eric and I always admire Old cast member to stay as long as they are healthy but his character is so dead by now. I wish they would put the character to Rest and Let Jack Abbott do it man

Yay I’m done with August 2015. I said it thousand Times but the Marco Annicelli Plot was so not Y&R LOL but August felt Like May or November sweeps. What I will give them is that the Marco storyline actually involved so many characters + it was consistent and the pacing was actually solid. The Big Showdown with Marco! It all crumbled and Marco did none of the murders but Detective Harding did it. It took me 165 episodes to realize that he’s on GH. Stupid me lol he’s such a great actor and the Revelation and Showdown with Paul and Harding was top Tier. Shame We lost a great actor on Y&R but the Exit delivered. He didn’t Even meant to kill Austin and Courtney :( Jack coming Face to Face to the tied up Marco was epic! Im Glad we wrapped up the storyline though BUT big dissapointing that they all act: Hey. Let‘s Move on! Like wtf? U torture us with Marco for 6-7 months and we are supposed to just Let it Go and Move on ? What the actual hell? What I loved about the storyline was that it brought us Marisa! I don’t remember mentioning her before but she was One of the best additions to the Show. She even made Noah exciting again. I know people will hate me but RA will always be Noah Newman to me and he was the best Noah. He has such Chemistry with Marisa. The writers actually developed them so sincere and slowly. Loved it. So many people hate on Mariah but I think if Cassie wouldn’t have died she would still gotten the storylines the same as Mariah tbh. Lol but I enjoy her and Kevin The merger of Abbott and Newman is over but now the fighting Over Chelsea by Jabott. Of Course Adam is all into it to Stick it to Victor. Why I Chose 2015 to rewatch and Full some Blanks I didn’t back then was because of Justin Hartley! I was hooked when he played Adam but stopped Y&R cause of work. I always keep up with Stories and sporadic episodes here and there but have no clue what happens After August Sharon lost her Baby :( :( it was so touching when she told Mariah. But she’s keeping it a big secret for Dylan. Oh no. I hope it wont be the end for them. I actually have no clue what will Happen to Sharon here with this Story and don’t Even remember any story coming for it. Can’t wait. The more Sharon the better. I swear to god I said it a few times that I love Neil. BUT what I really love about Neil is when he gets revengeful. Is he to Blame for Hillary‘s disappearence? I don’t get why the Police would accuse Devon and why they treat him So damn Hard Like a suspect lol made no sense. I don’t have a clue about this Story either and don’t remember anything but whatever the more Neil the better. But I hate Devon! It’s Not the actor‘s fault but he’s giving me nothing. Like seriously. Devon‘s character gets so many big push ups by the producers and writers and I don’t get why? Like seriously. Honest question? Why the hell is Devon put on such a high pedestal? I will never understand why they even had to make him related to Kay? Such stupid bs. I wish his character would just go away. I never saw the appeal of Hillary and him and thought Neil and Hillary could’ve worked better

Wait. They actually released classic episodes of it? I have to Check that out. David from RC has always been the funniest and most badass Villain of that show and I loved Suffocate. I was a Big Fan of Scandal too but it was hard to keep up cause on YouTube they released weird episodes and sometimes not in the Right Order and the official Site was poorly organized When I’m Done with August 2015 of Young and the restless I will give isidingo a go. I’m definitely interested . I was quite shocked how many soapies got cancelled from the oldies. Is 7De Laan still a thing? That was another one I watched for Like 2 Years in the mid 2010‘s lol

Isidingo was so great and grabbed my attention .. I was more a Generations and Rhythm City Type of Guy but it was still enjoyable

If u are jus scratching the surface After 10 months than you are medicore! I mean the other soaps get so much [!@#$%^&*] for being mid even when new writers or producers came but because BTG is new and diverse IT makes up for some medicore writting? Nah. That’s Not it. It’s ok-ish but nothing that ground breaking anymore

Someone Said on Facebook: A little known but surprising fact: “Bright Promise” still exists! Since it was independently produced by Frandor Productions (yes, Frank and Doris Hursley who created GH as well!) in association with Bing Crosby Productions the tapes for all 605 episodes were saved for posterity. CBS/Paramount now owns the Crosby catalog (including “Ben Casey” and “Hogan’s Heroes”) and “Bright Promise” is available for syndication. Hopefully like “Dark Shadows” and “The Doctors” BP will show up on a streaming service or cable. Can someone confirm that all episodes were saved ?

BTG could win. Ecause of the hype and its new. GH could win because it really bounced back this year But I think it will go to DAYS cause of the tragic deaths and how well written it was into the Show tbh

What made the chrolli storyline great was that Christian didn’t just fell for Olli. He was with Coco and tried fighting his feelings and even got aggressive. He slept with Olli one time and felt shame and said: yeah just wanted to try it. It’s not for me”.. It was realistically written and that made it so popular when Christian was finally admitting to himself that he actually Loves him. Felt sorry for coco though.

Verbotene Liebe has so many different vibes during its 4664 episodes it’s crazy! It was always soapy from the get go but they had to found their groove. They did that pretty fast. I have to say I forgot to mention Henning von Anstetten. I loved them too. Shame the actor committed suicide Some actors grew into their characters pretty fast and some struggled like all their run but were still charming. I know what u mean. Some sets look so good and exquisite for the 90’s and some like the put them together last minute from IKEA. I have to say I would rather tell people to start with verbotene Liebe classics than GZSZ tbh. GZSZ 1992 was rough as hell. It was even worse than unter uns 1994. Unter uns at least felt like they could be your real life neighbours so u overlooked some of the bad acting cause the stories made up for it and the general vibe. But GZSZ nearly needed 2-3 years to finally get there. When the scripts from the other show GZSZ was based on and they axed half the cast it already got better but GZSZ just stated to find its footing by mid 1994/early 1995. I recently tried rewatching Marienhof on YouTube. I still loved it but I didn’t remember some of the acting that bad for 2007/2008. It didn’t had the charm that it had back then. Verbotene Liebe on the hand still holds up. Verbotene Liebe had the strongest cast over their run. I have to admit that GZSZ never had that much of a strong cast besides during a few periods. They were just lucky to get the timeslot from Santa Barbara that was airing there for a while.
