I was thinking of doing something like this but don't have the time and the patience. Doing it by year is tough. I would have a hard time coming up with best moments for the recent years and there are so many in other years. For 1980 maybe something about the cult, but there's not much great footage as you said. Then for 1981 the standout should be Vanessa's fall off the balcony, but there's also other important things like Nikki and Victor meeting and even the London Gala. So maybe it makes sense for you to not do it year by year, but try to do about 10 per decade or 5 for each 5 years.

 

For 1983 you have Patty shooting Jack, Dina's arrival, Jill sleeping with Jack...

Go through that website and maybe I can help if you still need suggestions.

I do not remember much Lauren/Diane time from Susan's last run. But Lauren was much more a recurring player at that time. Other than chasing after Paul, she did not have much of storyline until she fell into the Fisher orbit.

I know Diane WAs friends with Isabella, who Initially was good and was fighting for Paul against Lauren, Lauren wasn't around for Most of Alex Donelly's second run that I know for sure

I wouldn't mind a Mac drop-in too. Kelly did a great job her last few appearances. I was hoping that would become more of recurring role since the JT mystery was left unresolved for so long. I found it amusing that Jaime Lyn Bauer mixed up Lorie's book titles Naked at Dawn and In My Sister's Shadow. I instantly caught her error. Die-hard fans can remember even the most obscure details.

I don't believe there's bad blood with JL and Tom Hallick. She's in the classic Y&R Facebook group, and she has often posted very glowing comments about Hallick, their characters' storyline, and working with him.
