I wish Another World was available to watch. I feel like YouTube uploads are either full episodes (fragmented) or random clips.

I know. Me too. The only full time frames aren't the ones I'm the most interested in.

  2. I'm watching the end of 1980. I have so many comments. I want Aunt Liz to shut up. She's driving me bats!

Joey is such a hothead. You poor guy, you married a rich woman. Poor thing.

I see where Rachel is coming from, but she is her own worst enemy. Lying to Mac is never a good idea. Was VW really pregnant at this point? If so, that child is now 42. Whoa that's a sobering thought.

I understand that Miranda was supposed to be Iris 2.0. That was a mistake. This show alrrady had an Iris. It was creating Blaine and Cecil. It didn't NEED Iris 2.0. Rachel was doing just fine at blowing her own relationship. They could have made Miranda a more rounded and interesting character. We know JM can pull off rounded and interesting.

Can't stand Amy or Kit. But I am enjoying Rick.

I keep telling myself, It's okay. Felicia is coming...

How did anyone believe that Mason fathered Tori’s kid? Especially once everything about Samantha became common knowledge knowing Chip was older than her. I know Eden questioned it briefly and Cruz seemed to want to be willfully ignorant but I just think it’s a hard sell for everyone to buy that Mason and Tori were secretly dating for months and sleeping together while he was also helping Julia father her kid.

I still can't explain that one. Every one knew Tori was hot for Mason. But they might have bought that evil Mason seduced Tori, or they had a one nighter and created Chip. Honestly though, it was just a lame story to give awful Tori something to do. They all tend to think the worst about poor Mason.

I think that was the point, though. The show was clearly invested in CC/Sophia as the rootable pairing. Lionel would have muddied the waters. And considering the history there, perhaps the writers thought that option would be insurmountable for CC/Sophia to overcome.

I'm certain that you are correct. However the show didn't really bother to have them actually get back together for years. They sort of just were in bed when they weren't with someone else. CC tried and she said No. She finally says yes, and he's with someone else. The. Chemistry was always off the charts, but if the show was just going to waste that, then they could have made it a better storyline.

I often wonder why they never went there with Lionel and Sophia. That could have been a long-term traingle.

I think they wanted a short term separation between them. And it would have been harder to come back from her sleeping with Lionel. And, he was gone by then.

Really though, these peoples lives are messier than a soup sandwich. Good grief!

I don't recall whether there was any rivalry between Mason and Jeffrey, because Pamela had an obvious preference for Jeffrey.  I mean she never tried to kill Julia because she was jealous of Mason's attention.  And yet, Mason yearned for Pamela to need him, he even bought her a house.

I don't believe they ever delved into that either. It sortbof just went from What do you mean I have a brother? To Oh, okay that's what you mean. That said, Mason was close to Eden- this is established. And Mason found out about Jeffrey during the Eden diedcin a plane explosion/phone calls say Eden isn't dead storyline. And also at the exact same time, Mason was figuring out just how awful Tori really was AND Julia was wonderful and having his baby. So- the dude did have a lot on his plate at that point in his life.

I had never even thought of it, but Mason is desperate for Pamela's attention. And I just don't feel like she cares. Of course, I also think that to her, killing Kelly would also hurt CC, which seems to be more important to her than any of her children. She can blame CC all she wants for abandoning Mason. But she simply gave Elena away. This is not a kind, loving nurturing woman.

  7. I understand Lane's feelings. Happily married is death on a soap. He wanted to remain a lead character, not get shoved to the back like Brick. And he wanted something "fun to play". And scheming is always fun. I think Good Writers could have done this. But I also feel that with the constant shifting of who was in charge on the show, I doubt it would have been done.

I do agree that there were levels to Mason. I clearly remember his dejection the first year when he was trying to find Pamela and couldn't. I wish they had REALLY explored that when Marj Dusay came on board. (Not SF, getting rid of her was a wise decision.) Instead, she was just immediately on a pedestal. I would have enjoyed at least ONE scene where Mason said, "Yes, as a child. But you could have picked up a phone and returned my call when I was leaving my number everywhere for you."

I also don't lump Tori into the same category as Gina. I think he really wanted to try with her. But she was psycho. And Julia was there, level headed and not psycho, and the mother of his child. Then Tori went full on addle brained addict and it became easier to make the decision.

  8. I hate Gina. Except I secretly love Gina. I enjoy that she is sensitive, and does draw the line at some things. Except, she doesn't and makes Kelly run away for months. So, I go back to hating her. Then she's all vulnerable again. And Robin Mattson seems so nice. So, I don't know how I feel about her.

Victoria, on the other hand, I can not dredge up any sympathy for her. Her husband ignores her, but when he legitimately tries, she screeches at him. Which just makes him regret trying. The cocaine story just has me wanting to smack her hyper self. CALM DOWN WOMAN. The she's screeching again. I did enjoy the few scenes where she and Mason quoted Shakespeare at each other. That was nice because I will never see Lane doing a full play. But as for Tori, nope. Do not care what happens.

And Sophia could stop shrieking too.

For those wishing for a modern re-boot it begs the question if either of CC's ex wives could board a plane from Europe to Santa Barbara in 2022 wearing either a hat with a thick veil to hide their face or a little old man costume with a voice changer?  I always assumed they traveled in those get-ups.

I'm also certain that most of these women sit around the house wearing ballgowns.

Or, if supply chain issues would inhibit Lionel's ability to ship a sarcophagus to his home?

Oh- Lionel WOULD DEFINITELY have problems mailing a sarcophagus to his home.

Alas, no big hats allowed. However, veils are fine. And everyone has to wear a mask now, so no problem there. However I prefer a reboot with a Sophia being all, "Yeah. I'm the widow of CC. Bite me, Gina."

Not that it was written this way, BUT, there's the old saying about how you get'em is also how you'll lose'em.  So, given that Sophia got CC after being with his brother and his enemy, perhaps she was afraid of how the universe would repay her?

However, Pamela was off her rocker from day one, and it was obvious that she would hold no appeal to CC, who didn't like her, or any of their kids, that much.

Thus, I would have to attribute Sofia's insecurity to the lack of support that CC offered her during the trauma of almost loosing Eden.

Pamela was with Grant, not Sophia. But I do see the point. I thought they were trying to create a Blake/Krystal/Alexis type trio. But this trio falls flat because it doesn't gel with the 3.5 years of history we had with CC and Sophia. I just would have preferred a more natural conflict leading to the end of them. And I dislike screeching Sophia. She won't even let him apologize. She tells that she won't allow Pam to euin her family at the same time that SHE is the one throwing it away.

Then it was. Today is my day to make all decisions and I have decided. Lol

    "Cruz killed me, Daddy. "

Those were Elena's last words. She said them to C.C.

That's correct. CC's knowledge was: some random woman saved Cruz's life right as his oldest daughter died and is suddenly around all the time. She tried to buy the Orient Express and CC refused to sell. He finds out his daughter isnt dead. Rando woman is trying to kill his children. Rando woman has been shot and says Cruz killed me Daddy. Alex confirms it after she's dead. So, really other than giving Pamela a goodbye boink before sending her packing, CC did nothing wrong to Elena.

Speaking of Pamela, why. WHY? I can sort of understand why Sophia is insecure. But these marriage problems are on her. She won. CC is hers. I really wish she would stop shrieking at him.
