I've been watching old GH too and I can tell you when Susan Moore was murdered Heather had no problem getting into the Quartermaine mansion to try to incriminate Alan. I think a few others wandered in, too.

Thank you. That makes me feel a little better. I know it happened on AW also. People broke into Mac's. But I do not remember anyone ever breaking into Stephano's mansion.

  2. Serious question here: I only watched NBC. So it was Days, Another World and SB. I do not remember the security being as loose on the other 2 as it was on SB. (Like half of the town traipsing through CC's house whenever they want. Or Cruz and his inability to lock his windows). Are other shows this bad about locks?

  3. I don't mind Cruz and Eden. I like them. Not a fan of baby napping, because why do ALL of the babies on this show have to be kidnapped? There's only so much babynapping that can occur before the population of a city would start electing different people. I can see Nancy and Bob Smith sitting at breakfast. She asks what is in the paper. He answers, oh the most recent Capwell kid got kidnapped. She says Really. What is that, third or forth time? He says Yeah, we need to move.

I love Julia and Mason, Lionel and Augusta, even Kelly and Jeffrey (before TJ). My favorite is still CC and Sophia. I just don't care for the personality shift in her character. But I suppose it gave JM something to do.

Made it to 922: the first-part of Cruz & Eden's wedding, and I'm already over it. You can already see such a shift in the storytelling from the Dobsons to Jill Farren Phelps. A lot is missing.

I'm so with you. I have been told that 89/90 have some good stuff, so I keep watching. I'm just not enjoying it like I did.

Celeste was ok. I skipped a lot of her story. Man Scott sucked.

I hate Scott more everyday. So tired of always angry. It is so boring! And it's funny, because I did watch once in a great while. I knew who Scott was back then and didn't mind him. I sort of knew stories, not well, but sort of knew. I just wasn't aware of how angry he was.

Anyway, I just watched the credits for episode 1152 (or 1151?) They actually had a psychic consultant! The 80s were so weird. No wonder gen X is weird too. I embrace my weird, but I gotta call it.

And more on weird: I love Mason. I love the quipping dude. I love the Shakespearian quotes. I loved Gina's daydream about being Frankenstein's Bride and bringing back Sonny. But it's Lane Davies as Frankenstein's Monster who sits up and quotes Richard III. Things like that are why I loved this show.

So I actually did recently watch this- I personally found it an awful story and it made zero sense. Like zero.

First of all - they apparently find a deceased baby, assume it's Adriana and bury it? Like with no tests? Just welp that must be our kid!

And then they find out Adriana is alive but no one is like hey- who did we bury?

And then Sandra is just gross and awful.

And then somehow it was Zach who kidnapped her, then Kirk, then she ends up with Cruz's brother?

Like if I tried really hard, and maybe had written down the convoluted plot points, maybe I could have followed it but I thought it was all terrible.

Then Kirk pretending he is Japanese or Buddhist or something I can't remember the details now. I watched the scene with Kirk and all I could think was maybe I should have tried watching it really high.

They find her in May I think. So not 9 months.

I am a bit in love with this description.

It just started for me. I do know that the baby body that was found was cremated, so they couldn't do tests.

And Sophia is nice to CC one day and a screaming banshee the next. No wonder he turns to Meghan

  7. Honestly, back in the day, I wasn't here for her reign. I stopped watching the show because I didn't like the 1988 storylines. I was a huge fan of 1984-1988, and didn't care for Pamela, the retcon of CC and Sophia, new Kelly, the rape story, the extreme drama, Sonny's existence, the lack of comedy and the lack of Lionel. I made it through the year this time, but still prefer the early days. Yes, I attribute this to the EP because she was at the top. If it wasn't her, then my apologies

Wow. Well, what does that mean, I wonder!

And, fill me in on JFP. When she was EP at SB, what did she do?

Not sure what you are asking. If you mean which stories were hers, then loosing Lionel, Kelly and TJ, not having Pearl at Cruz and Eden's wedding.

If you mean what an EP does, then I have no clue.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong becuase I saw that ending credits many time ago. But Kelly Capwell is missing from the photos of the ending credits, right? I think that was so weird if that's the truth.

You are correct. It is Cruz and Eden, Mason pull out to Madon and Julia, Keith and Gina surrounded by Capwells, CC and Sophia, Lionel and Augusta, Scott and Heather, Ted and Hailey,Cain and Andrea, Keith and Gina, Cruz and Eden and Cruz and Eden again. I was so confused by including Lionel that I missed that Kelly was missing.

  10. I MADE IT! I finished 1988 yesterday!! Whoo hoo Go ME!! Anyway, Michael Feinstein was singing away, and they rolled the credits with all of the couples: Cruz and Eden- 3 times. But also ALL of the couples JFP destroyed. It even includes Lionel and Augusta. Why? They had let him go.

  11. Michael and Julia have a song? Did this couple deserve a song? To quote Julia Sugarbaker, "I don't think so."

So, here's my biggest problem with the CC/Sophia retcon that happens in 1988. Before that, CC and Pamelyuck were divorced when he starts with Sophia. Now, CC and Sophia snuck around for a while before the divorce. Except Sophia broke up with Lionel because he was married. So, there is no logic in her immediately turning to also married CC.

I have a problem with youtube and it shows me russian episodes... So sad... But thank you for you help! I will search again. :(

There will be Russian in the title. At the end of the Russian is /Eng. Those episodes are in English

Again guys I am really desperate... is there a way for someone to help me watch the episodes...  are there playlists unlisted or other sites than youtube... thank you in advance

I believe soap central has episodes. But the only one I know for certain is you tube. You can create playlists there.

  14. AUGUSTA!!!! FINALLY!!! She's back for the wedding. She is at her house talking to Gina and Sonny/Mason. Sonny: Bunny can stay in a different room.

Augusta: Are you raising rabbits here? If you are, it doesn't matter.

Me: Because I once ate my daughter's pigeon in this very room.

Yes, Lane is fun to watch. He used to try to get roles in as many pilots as he could manage where the show would have a high probability of NOT getting picked up. Then, he had banked some major bucks for 13 episodes of pilot but was also free to do what he loved, which was theatre. And, we fans enjoyed watching the pilots, usually sitcoms.

But, yeah, the rapist is really something. If you don't know who it is yet, you're gonna die! Have you had that scene yet where Eden tells Cruz about this rape storyline with characters named Linc & Linda? With a producer named Bonty? One big dig at L&L/GH!

I know who it is. Just disgusting. Yes, that dig at L&L was kinda awesome, because YEAH GROSS and not romantic. Fortunately I'm only a handful of episodes away from Augusta. It will help.

Not a fan of tormented priest stories. (I'm looking at YOU Thorn Birds). So the Michael/Julia story is falling flat. Boswell is a cheap replacement for Keith.

    Victoria is- well Victoria.

Just not a fan of 88...

They seemed like they could do those scenes forever! I was just lucky that I was so fond of Lane Davies. I lived in Dalton, GA & he was from there. And, he was definitely a  most favored native son.

Oh, I bet. I do love Lane Davies, he is a lot of fun to watch. I think the fact that it's so hot has me grumpy about everything this week. And I wasn't looking forward to Andrea's death. But that happened today for me. Good acting, but I would like ANYTHING happy to happen soon. Because this all-consuming rape storyline isn't happy. And I hate Scott. He's too angry. And Heather is dullsville.

And about the rape sl, obviously the attacker is out of his mind. He target's CRUZ's woman? Then goes after CC's daughter and wife? Nope. I wouldn't try that.

It takes a serious level of crazy to try that.
