With how soaps are produced, I doubt that would be practical; at least, during June/July, it was during the time when [most] soaps were on summer break.

My guess is it was not the ratings hit they thought it would be. I know the article says it has to do with contracts with NATAS. I know Errol explained the time change of when the ceremony was hosted, too. Now it feels slapped in the middle of nothing (although, did the Daytime Emmys really ever get attention in recent years?).

Especially since Zach Tinker made it known the last time he was there he did not feel like he would be welcomed back, nor that they had an actual direction for the character.

I am not surprised we are returning to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. It seems like a good venue for the Daytime Emmys; however, I am surprised CBS did not pick up the ceremony again. Nonetheless, I've preferred the online airings, as they are not as time constrictive (remember Kathy Griffin mocking the ET producer who thanked everyone, including her damn dog? Hilarious!). Still gutted about Neighbours only getting one nomination; they deserve some solid recognition, and I am still hugely baffled by a lot of the nominations, but it is what it is at this point. @Errol No word on if there is a host and who it could be?

Loving the behind-the-scenes videos, and I love how enthused Ben Wadey is about the show. That's the kind of producer you want driving your show.

Ambyr Michelle (Eva, BTG; pictured above) is in the new Prime Video series The Runarounds, starring William Lipton (ex-Cameron, GH).

Sharon is using that Newman money from her divorces (and Abbott, too). Maybe Esther is helping bankroll? Although, the Newmans and the Abbotts surely pay a pretty penny to have their talks there, too.

Good on her for confirming this; people will still complain, but it makes sense they are warming up with new-to-daytime cast and crew!! Excited for the 238 episodes!!
