  1. Oh, I'm excited about this. I loved it when she did the group interview and felt like she could have done one on her own. And given that Jill Farren Phelps said on her Locher Room interview that she was not the one to kill Frankie Frame, I'd be interested to get her take on that.
  2. date: Wednesday, June 25 | Teresa Zimmerman, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Deadbeat, you are how you act... and you act like a damn child. Accept it. Dani is holding onto the idea that the child bride is faking her pregnancy. I kind of love it. And her versus Ashley is definitely a preview of what's to come where Andre is concerned, and that's exciting to me. NICOLE CONFRONTING ANDRE! Go ahead, girl! Speak how you feel and make that man stop seeing sleeping with your sissy! Katherine and Tomas just have that fiery chemistry; the natural lust in his eyes is so beautiful and easy to get lost in. A "whole new face" for Kenny, huh? So he got badly disfigured at some point during that night. I love that Eva is continuing, in her own way, to advocate for Nicole with Ted. She's right. She's entirely right. Nicole is calling Andre right out for using Dani's emotional state for his own sexual gain, and she is right: it's unconscionable. "You are a short-term solution to a long-term problem." Damn. Brilliant dialogue by Lynn Martin with that line. So, the next day, Bill has ditched the cane? And here's Kenny, sulking around a corner without a single care who may/may not see him. Tomas, why are you second-guessing things??? Ted coming to tell Nicole the truth concerning their deadbeat, and Nicole is more concerned about the Andre/Dani secret. So the child bride was cramping? Damn. Ted is straight up spitting facts at Nicole, and she can't handle it. I love it. "Come down off your pedestal, princess, and maybe we will be." DAMN! SHE REJECTED THE ULTRASOUND?!? Oh, she is so faking the pregnancy, and Dani will reek havoc when she is proven to be right! Notes: The pacing of today's episode is solid; each storyline featured is getting its due, and one isn't overpowering another. Great work between Zimmerman and Martin, and excellent direction from Pascarelli.

  4. Writers: Teresa Zimmerman Lynn Martin Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  5. He was part of the 60th cast shoot earlier this year, and the original TV Insider report has him in the role until "early 2026".
  6. I am sure for those not glued to social media it was a worth-while reveal, which is why it reached an eleven-week high.
  7. I adore her, and she's really refreshed the canvas in the best way possible. Her passion, not only for the industry she works in but for soaps in general, has been so beautiful to see.
  8. Lineup looks promising... but hoping they branch out a bit more, too.
  9. I agree. Others, on the other hand.... And it was!! I would not hate it.
  10. date: Tuesday, June 24 | Teresa Zimmerman, Danielle Paige | Michael V. Pomarico Katherine is still gunning for Eva, and it's refreshing to see that Ted is defending/uplifting her. That's how you do it. Bill showed up at Dani's place? Hmm... he wants to be around his former/future wife, and that's where he belongs. Not with the child bride. Vernon just showing up at Bill's law firm is amazing; he's controling how things work, and I am sure it's going to lead to some things going down. Bill apologising to Dani? Hell hath frozen over! Katherine, keep your mouth shut! You're becoming lazy; less is always more. So Tomas AND Elon are at Bill's offices? Well, this is about to get very, very interesting. Deadbeat, now would be the time to talk to your HUSBAND about what is going on, because you're only setting him up to be hurt beyond your wildest of dense imaginations. Sorry, but Bradley deserves a better Husband than Deadbeat, and the teens deserve a better father. So Bill truly believes he won't be reuniting with Dani (yeah, right), but I appreciate that they're both having this honest conversation. So Ted recognises Kenny, too? This White man got everyone up in their pantyliners. So, are Elon, Joey, and Marcel working with Bill and Vernon, or are they connected to Kenny and that side of the problem? I'm so confused. Tomas, you better keep your eyes on your table, sir. I want to believe the good in you. Don't make me second-guess. So Bradley knows something and it was a political event for Vernon? Homeboy is too smart for his own good. Deadbeat, now is not the time to walk into the office. Whew... it's about to blow up. Calling it. Katherine inching this close to saying she loves Tomas... whew! Bradley, baby, please. "Did I hurt the imaginary fetus?" Dani is so extra and in the best ways. Haha. Notes: Was it "Ariana Grande" lookalike week at Assembly Studios? At least Marquita Goings (Hayley) rocks the hairstyle better than Cady McClain (Pamela). I appreciate that the secret concerning Deadbeat continues to turn right when the dots start to connect. This is a brilliant umbrella storyline that's got plenty of legs.

  14. Hate to say it, but that would never happen; Jacob Young has made it very clear he is not interested in a long-term daytime gig.
  15. My guess would be the writers still had stories to tell with Chad, and rather than do a quick rewrite, producers decided to recast, allowing Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford to continue their storytelling. And given per Billy Flynn's account, Chad said goodbye to Julie and his children, which would [suggest] a quick rewrite to allow Flynn out, and then a period of time allowing Conner Floyd back on, without disrupting their stories for too long. But I concur; I would have loved a Horton (or even a Brady) return.
  16. It has been; it's nice seeing a topic issue being handled and handled the right way. It's uncomfortable to watch, which is what [I assume] the reaction should be from your audience.
  17. date: Monday, June 23 | Gregori J. Martin, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Steven Williford So this stroke is changing how Dani is feeling? Hmm... interesting. Bill wants an apology for Hayley? Good on Vernon for telling that two-timing manslut off and putting him in his place. Okay, so Kenny has a White superiority complex and is making it known; he doesn't like that the Black family has the power he does not. Awe, poor Eva. I genuinely feel bad. The amount of pressure she must be feeling is high. Dana, you continue to do too much; the more you speak, Dana, the more guilty you begin to look. Good on Nicole for being kind to Eva; I appreciate their interactions today. Whew.... calm down, Billy boy. Don't fire Tomas because you effed up. Not his fault. It's yours. More flashbacks of the marital times between Bill and Dani; I love that we get to have these flashbacks instead of it all being scripted memories; it's visual! I'm excited to see Dani and Pamela's modeling agency kick off the ground! That's it, Eva! Do that job better than the one who came before you. Prove yourself. Dani, baby, what do you have up your pink sleeve? Notes: What the Fück in top of Cady McClain's head? Who approved that hairdon't? But I like that they continue to dress her in forest green tones. I like how this soap is paced and edited so much! It's got its own special, unique feeling to it. And appreciate the continued lessened use of unnecessary music overlaying dialogue. Is it me, or has the lighting slightly changed in these episodes? Seems like they might have seen what aired, didn't like it, and changed it up again. It's improving. I appreciate that Michele Val Jean, Sheila Ducksworth, and their team are telling this story, re: Deadbeat. Showing a White man having a problem with a Black man having more money/power than them, and telling it as bluntly as they are, is brave and I love seeing it.

  19. Tognoni is only eight years younger than Michelle Stafford; that Phyllis recast was not bad. Plus, she worked in the role. Putting Mark Grossman into the role of Adam technically helped him de-SORAS back towards his meant-to-be age. But again, age does not exist in soap world. It's a non-construct.
  20. As Chad should; Abigail shouldn't be the only one he's held to.
  21. Got it to work! About damn time!
  22. My CBS channel still has the news break, and the New York feed I have access to has zero sound. WTF.
  23. 🤣 Well, let's pray that's done and over with by the time Floyd makes his debut in April; today is his first day at work.
  24. 🤣 Yeah, that would've been key. But I guess they still had a story they intended to tell with Chad; I think you'll like him. He's a step down from Billy Flynn, but still a solid actor that Y&R wasted (no surprise).
