  1. Gatecrashers, I'm a gay man (and the calling out of the cats/Birkenstocks was meant to be taken lightly, not seriously). Hilarious this is what's getting called out in this thread. Hilarious, especially since so many other disrespectful things are said on a constant basis. And, if you even bothered reading my other posts (which I doubt), I've been nothing but complementary of the relationship with Chelsea and Madison (while occasionally doubting how simple and sweet it has been since its beginning, as they show itself has leaned into the stereotype of how quickly women who enter into same-gender relationships can move).
  2. Another week of repeats?! Hm... seems like they're skipping holiday weeks altogether. So, are we to assume Thanksgiving and Christmas will be a week of repeats, too?
  3. Ouch; that's not a positive sign, but maybe CBS Studios is working on securing a less limited deal for Canadian broadcast?
  4. Keith > Maurice every. single. day. Keith is an actor with a wide range of talent that goes beyond daytime. Period. And his résumé proves that.
  5. date: Thursday, August 28, 2025 | Sara A. Bibel, Cheryl L. Davis | Michael V. Pomarico I can appreciate that Katherine is feeling the way she is feeling, but she also has to let up on herself a bit. This is becoming a bit much. Once again, Shanice is being beyond unprofessional by not only being on her personal cellular device but also being on her social media accounts while on the clock. Uh-oh. Billy boy, you are in trouble right now. You have got some explaining to do. Haha! Dana, you will not be moving into Fairmont until the holidays, if at all. Good! Alison, Allison, Allison. You really did think of every single detail. If you were not Annie Wilkes personified, I would be impressed. Well damn, Allison got an upgrade in the "knife" budget for herself. She went from a steak knife to a full-on butcher knife. Poor Vanessa does not get a flying fück what Dana is doing; she wants out of this right now. Good on Chelsea, continue to play along. You are doing what Dani and your family told you to do. Hold out a bit longer! Oh Madison, sweetie, you will get to Chelsea eventually. I promise you will. And you will have cats before Halloween, and your Birkenstocks will be loaded for autumn. Wow. This ending is brilliant; the prayer for Chelsea (who is going through it) to Katherine and Jacob discovering how unhinged Allison has been for years. Wow. This is something else. Notes: CBS, none of your autumn shows look good. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I love the onscreen graphics where text messages are concerned. Very modern, sleek, and clean. RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) and Brianna Roberts (Allison) continue to do outstanding work in their scenes. I am buying them both.

  8. I loved Van Hansis and Maura West in the brief scenes they shared on World Turns, and they are magnificent on General Hospital, as well.
  9. date: Wednesday, August 27, 2025 | Teresa Zimmerman, Lynn Martin | Phideaux Xavier The sisterly bond between Dani and Nicole is so refreshing; if this were another soap, they would be catfighting every single moment. Nice to see some real relationships. Deadbeat stop kissing Bill's ass. Go away. Go on, Chelsea! Beat that bitch's ass! Katherine, what the F are you doing...? Going to see joey alone? You are better than this. Uh-oh: the continued secrets concerning Chelsea have come out... and now Bill knows Madison is not just a friend... she is Chelsea's girlfriend. Joey is playing hardball; I can appreciate that he is working his own angle, but this is not the time. And Katherine... you keep saying the wrong words. Oh, Allison is not on this planet. Sweetie, she needs a room with padded walls and nonstop medical attention... until the end of time. I appreciate that Bill is not concerned regarding Chelsea's sexuality. So refreshing to see, and I know it will be for her, as well. Deadbeat, why are you in Bradley's house, and why are you thinking about congressional bills? This is not what this is about. Get gone. It is so sweet that Tracy called Anita. That is friendship right there. Not Dana's uppity ass walking in with a "sympathy" plant like she belongs... Vernon looks like he is about to shove that prickly plant up her ass, haha. Anita and Vernon knew exactly what Bill was going to do... haha. That was brilliant. Just picking her ass up, dropping her outside, and locking her out. Joey wants a Dupree in his debt. Whew. That is dangerous, but we know he plays a dangerous game. Allison, sweetie, you are skin and bones. What is Chelsea going to eat? The bun on your head? Sure. That will be so fulfilling. Bill gets Dani, and Dani gets Bill. They will always have that emotional attachment, especially through their daughters, and it is beautiful to witness the healing that has both happened and is happening still. Katherine, you are optimistically naïve. Notes: Damn. Jon Lindstrom (Joey) really plays the Hell out of his role. Tailor-made for him, and it is so nice seeing him properly used in American daytime for once. GH's loss is BTG's gain! RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) and Brianna Roberts (Allison) are killing it in these scenes; they work so well both together and apart. Once again, Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) have palpable chemistry. They are meant to be paired together. I like that Michele Val Jean, Sheila Ducksworth, and their team did not take the predictable route of having a male (especially one of colour) have an issue with their child's sexuality. It is so refreshing. People continue to question the power and pull that the Dupree family has, and these last few episodes have proven that their power and control are strong and have immense pull. I am still wondering why CBS is airing the MTV Video Music Awards... it makes no sense (outside of Paramount being the parent company).

  12. She really is playing the material well. I'm enjoying it, and I buy it from her.
  13. date: Tuesday, August 26, 2025 | Gregori J. Martin, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Steven Williford I appreciate seeing Tyrell concerned about Chelsea. Chelsea, sweetie, you have got to be careful. Annie Wilkes' biggest fan could snap your ankles, and then you will not walk in your designer heels anymore. I like seeing the child bride with Caroline, and it is nice seeing Caroline outside of the office. However, you are in your boss' home, with your feet up on his [sex] couch. Hmm. And Hayley drinking like she is a lush. So everything Allison gave was fake? Not surprised. And look out, Craig could come out of this... if he is even alive?! Now the psychopath has a damn kitchen knife? Whew... watch out, Chels! Not Vanessa wanting to call things off with Joey, and then Anita and Vernon walking in on them at Uptown! Anita said, "pay attention!" Aw, seeing Naomi break down concerning Chelsea... this is heartbreaking. Damn child bride, for once, Bill is right... this is not about you. This is about Bill and his true family right now. Stay at your place with Caroline; keep drinking and watching movies. Uh-oh... Dani, sweetie, you just outed your daughter to her father. I know it was not ideal (and was needed so Bill could understand more), but ouch. Not a good look. Assistant Director Buchanan showed up expecting to catch up over drinks... but Anita and Vernon are stalling that. Poor guy just wanted a night out off work. Awe. Oh surprise: Craig is alive! And he is not Allison's husband. Wow... not surprised. Jacob pulled that badge out like it was nothing. Haha. Oh snap, Joey is involved now, via Craig?! That is insanity... the web Joey has in Fairmont Crest continues to be woven. Andre... now is not the time for feelings to be stirring up. And child bride, GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THIS HOUSE! AIN'T NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE! Anita is not having Buchanan's bullshït. Not Katherine calling Craig a "manwhore". Oh, you are so dumb, Katherine. DUMB DUMB DUMB! BITE THE BITCH CHELSEA! BITE HER AGAIN! Oh God... if Allison rapes Chelsea... whew... that is going to be a bit... wow. Notes: Obsessed was a good movie. Saw it in cinemas. One of Beyoncé's best acting roles. Brianna Roberts (Allison) plays psychotic well; she is really giving me chills with the choices she is making.

  15. Writers: Gregori J. Martin Jazmen Darnell Brown Director: Steven Williford
  16. Brown just visually works as what I would imagine Jennifer Foster to be. And I just think Braun would really take the concept of Tara Locke and develop her better, especially after Billy Flynn's casting as Cane/Aristotle.
  17. Sarah Joy Brown is my choice for Jennifer Foster; this, to me, feels like a code name for Tara Locke, or someone else previously on the canvas that is returning.
  18. This is overdue. Honestly, I would have had her cast as Victoria Newman in 2005, or even Tara Locke (who I suspect this could be) in 2021. But I am happy to see Ms Braun continue to be employed in American daytime.
  19. They are overused and date the genre, and often are what lead to it being mocked/looked down upon. I want better and more from this soap.
  20. Please, spare us the tired soap tropes. PLEASE!
