  5. I like seeing Nick at the Abbott estate; it feels right mixing it up with Jack and Kyle, and he finally acknowledged Harrison! Joshua Morrow is kicking ass.
  6. Ask DAYS when they brought back Jay Kenneth Johnson. 🤣
  7. No explanation; per Storms, she requested the time off to relocate to Nashville and expected to be released from her contract. But Frank agreed to keep her on and gave her the time she needed to relocate, etc.
  8. Featuring Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle, GH et al.) as Mary jo Buttafuoco
  9. Looks amazing and... I spy a new set or two. Perhaps Dana's shouse?
  10. original release date: Thursday, January 15, 2026 | writers: Christopher Dunn, Judy Tate | director: Phideaux Xavier Thoughts: Anita is glowing with her "I woke up like this" look, and that dressing kaftan is stunning on her. I love this. Hayley, you are bottom-line scum. Nothing but a loose ho who thinks her con is going to work. Nasty behaviour, but I expect nothing less from gutter trash. Oh, Hi Derek. Good thing you ditched the cane. Last thing you need is a weapon as dull as you are. Aw, love seeing how glowing Ashley is with Grayson. And love seeing Naomi and Shanice supporting her and wanting to know the details! YAS ASHELY! Have that strawberry sorbet instead of your regular mint chocolate chip! You have earned that. Derek, you did NOT take a bite out of that nacho and put it BACK on the main platter. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. No etiquette. Love seeing Anita do things with Katherine and Samantha. Helps her keep her mind on other things outside of cancer and chemotherapy. Uh-oh. Bill is big mad and he did nothing but spit fact after fact. That is right, Bill, put that ho inline. Watch out, hobag; he might just cut you off, and rightfully so. I love seeing Eva and Ted's relationship as daughter and father continue to grow and evolve. So beautiful! Jacob, backpedalling on the topic of children is you being ridiculous; you should have expressed this before you married Naomi. Of course the spoilt, self-centred bitch would take Eva's kind gesture and make it nasty. How rude. She truly is lower than low. GET IT SHANICE! GET THAT AFTERNOON DELIGHT IN THE OFFICE! That is right, Derek: look at Ashley's upgrade. She has fully gone from dud to STUD! Notes: Dunn and Tate did an outstanding job with today's script. It was concise, had depth and was a wonder to see played out. Day two and yes, Jen Jacob (Ashley) and Jordi Vilasuso (Grayson) spark with chemistry. This is a WIN, both in terms of the latter's casting and also for both characters. Jasmine Burke (June) must be changing her hair up again, based on how she is styled in today's episode.
  11. Credits for Thursday, January 15, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte Writers: Micah Steinberg; Kate Hall and Cathy Lepard Director: Allison Reames Smith
  12. Writers: Christopher Dunn Judy Tate Director: Phideaux Xavier
  13. That introduction was ridiculously unnecessary, and while he does appear more natural, I would not be surprised if R.J. did not last beyond 2026.
  14. Love Jason as Billy. The best Billy, IMHO. And I'm glad he is celebrating his tenth year in the role. 🥰
  15. If Daily Mail is to be trusted (and they are marginal at best most times), Boatman was in negotiations, so his cut was likely easy.
  16. original release date: Wednesday, January 14, 2026 | writers: Ron Carlivati, Lynn Martin | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Damn, Hayley. That is beyond harsh. But, it is thankfully a fake-out, because even the way she was acting was beyond below the belt, even for the character. And hey, Pamela! Welcome back! Dana is turning on the ass-kiss quite thick. Way too thick with Joey, who is not going to buy it coming from her. At all. Vanessa is such a kind and caring friend, tending to Nicole while she has her hangover. Oh no. Not Joey arriving at Bill's office door. This can never be good. And it is interesting that Bill appears to be protective of Vanessa; is another link to his Dupree nature still existing? I adore that Pamela is there for Dani, through thick and thin, with some giggles and undying support. That is a friend. I can appreciate Nicole trying to be a bit more accepting of Vanessa's relationship, but I do feel like it will be very short-lived. What the Hell happened in Berlin? Now I need to know every single detail, from the beginning to the very end. Dana, stop looking at that gun. You do not need access to a firearm. At all. Do not. Dani, Dani, Dani... it is time for you to just admit you want Bill as much as he wants you. And here comes the hurdle: the con artist who stole him from you for the sake of her desperate bank account. What a ho. Notes: Ugh. I thought the writer was gone... praying this is their last breakdown, because it is messier than the messiest of messy days. No bueno. Xavier's direction, like yesterday, was outstanding! He knows how to shoot a soap, and it shows in the results. I appreciate how Beyond the Gates handles its recurring players. They pop in and out as necessary, and when they arrive, it is so nice to see. Jeresa Featherstone was solid as a costume designer in 2025 (with some hiccups), but I have yet to see one hiccup in 2026. She knows her cast well, and it shows in what they wear. Rarely does a dark lip work on any woman who is not Bette Davis, but Cady McClain (Pamela) pulls it off so well. Excellent choice by the makeup team. McClain and Karla Mosley (Dani) light up in their shared scenes. They have a palpable chemistry that makes me truly buy them as lifelong friends.
  17. She should have been cut years ago; if anything, she should have been a six month guest star, not a multi-year feature.
  18. Love the softening of Leo, but if he dumps Javi for Dimitri, I would lose my shït.
  19. Credits for Wednesday, January 14, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Suzanne Flynn; Charlotte Gibson and Cathy Lepard Director: Denise Van Cleave
  20. Writers: Ron Carlivati Lynn Martin Director: Michael V. Pomarico
  21. We'd hope he would either mute his phone for the meeting, lower the volume or that people would understand he has a young child, etc.
  22. Genuinely do not believe he was the right one to cut, but I'm hopeful for what his future could hold, either in daytime or out of daytime.
