I feel bad, because I fully believe there was zero intent of bringing Jordan back when they did had Sean Blakemore (ex-Shawn) not quit. Tanisha Harper's casting was a complete "Oh we're losing a POC so let's hire a POC to replace them," and it shows in how chaotic Jordan's story has been.

Cassandra Creech would be nice as wold Sherri Saum. Kimberly Elise is another name I'd throw into the ring; she isn't daytime but I've enjoyed her work in film and primetime.

Per a TMZ report, she was booted from a plane and arrested in November 2012 for public intoxication in Dallas, Texas. And she reportedly pushed a flight attendant. And you're right: there are a lot of actresses out there that could equally do the job. Question is: who?

Jon Lindstrom (Kevin, General Hospital) just revealed he's known about The Gates "for a while," and had read the material. So it appears things were in-stone prior to Michele Val Jean's exit from The Bold and the Beautiful, and assured this project is GREENLIT!

I would think a recast would happen; judging from her Linkedin, she worked for an investment group up until August of 2023, and has not acted since 2001. She left Port Charles to return to Philadelphia to care for her ill father, David Ward, and her relationship with AJ ended, due to his alcoholism.
