BTG: February 2026 Discussion Thread
original release date: Friday, February 27, 2026 | writers: Naalie Minardi Slater, Jazmen Darnell Brown | director: Steven Williford Thoughts: For once, I am on Dana's side. Take down the self-centred, spoilt bitch and put her into the place where she belongs since no one else has the hutzpah to do it themselves. Hello, Dr Monica McCormack! You look professional and fun at the same time. I hope you do make more appearances in the coming months. Looks like Nicole is having some conflicting feelings and that feels beyond natural, especially after as long a marriage as she had with Ted. And she loves them both? Love?! I hope that Dana's feelings towards Izaiah and his relationship with Eva are genuine and real for them and not in some kind of pull for her attempts to lure Elon into her cobweb. Ugh. She needs to shut the fück up. Her overdramatic reaction(s) and inability to not see beyond her own need for attention, etc., are gross and off-putting. Ted continuing to have no time for Dana gives me the giggles. I love it. Was he down that bad back in the day that he was willing to sleep with her? No one less... psychotic around? Looks like Eva's conscience is beginning to kick back in regarding Dana's involvement in Laura's accident. Come on, Eva, finally do the right thing and let someone know what happened. Chelsea has some nerve? CHELSEA HAS SOME NERVE? If Dana needs someone else to run off the road, I know the exact person she can aim for and succeed with this time. Yes, Nicole, show Dana exactly who she is messing with. We love to see it. The claws are coming out! Poor Vanessa looks like she would rather walk back out of Uptown than deal with her client. And I do not blame her. At all. Notes: Yes! It is a Slater day and she is paired with Brown. Yes. Yes. Yes. This is a WIN! Oh my God. What the Hell happened to production? The post-production for today's episode is cold as Hell. I wonder if it was a one-off error. At least I hope it was, because this visually looks bad. The coffee shop set has a place called 'A Place to Wine'. I would not mind seeing that at some point this year.

ARTICLE: David Chokachi Reprising Cody Madison Role In ‘Baywatch’ Reboot At FOX
He called the strike a "reductive negotiating tactic" and "myopic" and criticised that the strike banned him from promoting the second season of Heels, which was ultimately canceled anyway, likely due to its poor ratings.

ARTICLE: David Chokachi Reprising Cody Madison Role In ‘Baywatch’ Reboot At FOX
Beyond that, his microaggression and views regarding POC, being publicly intoxicated and screaming at his wife, plus his words during the last strike, are issues. He just feels more like a liability than an asset for this reboot. Then again, it is Fox, so I shouldn't expect anything different.

BTG: February 2026 Discussion Thread
original release date: Thursday, February 26, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Judy Tate | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Everyone gathering around their devices (phone/tablet) felt very modern and real and showed the pull that Anita has within the Fairmont Crest community. Of course Anastasia would be appalled at being ignored when it is beyond apparent something was going on via the screen. And then her fake horror at the news. Not Anita essentially telling Anastacia to take a long walk off of a short pier and Vanessa offering to take her to that pier. Haha. Hilarious. Good on Vernon for asserting himself and absolutely shutting down Anastasia by threatening her country club membership. Dana, Dana, Dana... the delusions continue to run as deep as you believe your pockets to be. Focus more on your shouse than on this free clinic that was not even your concept or idea in the first place. Anita's works of wisdom to Vanessa were beautiful. I love the support that is being given to Vanessa by simply being there and guiding her in a way. The audacity of Dana asking Bradley to cover the event given it was his daughter's idea to upstart the free clinic. She truly has zero shame in her so-called game. Naomi's emotions are all over the place and I do not blame her given what is going on with Jacob and his moving out. But I am so glad that Ashley is as understanding as she is. Well, the spoilt, self-centred bitch is coming right back out, and all of a sudden, she is becoming unbearable AGAIN! Did Dana just walk right into Dani's house after she refused her entry? Once again, the audacity this psychopath has! Wow. Knowing everyone that is rallying around Anita is wonderful to see. From her fellow Articulettes to Jackie Tyree, it is all so beautiful. That is what community is all about. This is global! The look on everyone's faces as Dana parades herself around Orphey Gene's like she is selling some kind of political campaign is hilarious. Notes: Montgomery and Tate were a breath of fresh air today in terms of the writing. They worked exceptionally well together. And Pomarico has been consistently giving with each episode he directs. Was there a change in the makeup team? Because [almost] every single eyebrow on the female cast looks extra thick and extra unreal, and it's slightly off-putting. I know it is the modern look but I do not like it. I do love that we are continuing to see characters on sets we usually do not see them on and interacting with other characters we would not ordinarily see them with. It is nice.

DAYS: February 2026 Discussion Thread
I know it's early to assess but I can already tell that Noel Maxam has a better visual hold on Days of Our Lives than Janet Spellman-Drucker ever had and shows just how ill-equipped and ill-prepared she was to become co-executive producer. Yes, I know the details concerning her appointment were less than savoury, but still... in her time in the position she held, she really did not do much that changed anything.

Law & Order: SVU - Discussion Thread
Been on a rewatch of Special Victims Unit and I have got to say Michaela McManus got a raw deal as ADA Kim Greylek. I know several say she did not work, but following Stephanie March (Alex) and Diane Neal (Casey) is no small task, and I felt she did just fine. Yes, she was a bit of a watered-down version of the latter two, but some shift in writing easily could have changed that. Although Gloria Reuben's role of Christine Danielson would have been a good choice of replacement for Neal.
