  1. Well, Bryan Craig shít-talking soaps (etc) and liking tweets along those lines did not help his cause, either, so when he sent that 2020 tweet out, it was a complete slap-in-the-face. Like, "Now they're not beneath you 'cause you can't get hired?!"
  2. I never had the view that NBC/NBCUniversal never had faith in Days of Our Lives. It always felt like Sony Television to me with the hesitation in renewal. The drama behind-the-scenes with the former co-executive producer has not helped things in the long-run.
  3. Kay Alden said she liked the Rosales family, which speaks volumes. However, they were rush-introduced onto the canvas. By the time Mia debuted is when Rey should have come in. It felt like after Lola they were just piled in without thought. I miss the Rosales family, honestly. A breath of fresh air on what was a stale-ass canvas at the time. Truthfully, I don't think 99.9% of "fans" should be writing any of the soaps. Genuinely.
  4. A lot of my stopping during the 50th anniversary was more-so do to the production value being shown to us. Very green/blue/unedited. And it was unattractive to me. And a lot was happening that just felt... unnatural. Him being the longest-writer is not going to sit well with me, and goes to show just how much Ken Corday is not paying attention at this point, among other things. I was never a fan of the "writer" at any of his other soaps. But, I always stated: he would work at Days of Our Lives, and he semi-did.... when someone like Sheri Anderson was there to hone in his off-the-trails writing. Once she left, we were getting the face masks, etc. and it was just too much for me. I think he needed/needs a co-head writer who can level-out his... inability to cohesively pull a soap together. The show moving from NBC to Peacock should have done something, but I am in the beginning of April 2024, and nothing I've seen via Peacock wouldn't have aired on NBC, if I am being honest. Again, I look at what TOLN/Prospect Park did with All My Children & One Life to Live in 2013, and it was miles ahead of what Days of Our Lives is producing in its writing. MILES! They are not utilizing their new platform, and that's a crying shame.
  5. Haha. If I am home, I am alone in my room. It is my happy place.
  6. I'm never lonely when alone, haha.
  7. Can someone explain why Letitia Dean is in this horrid wig?
  8. The team?! Does this team include Patrick Mulcahey?!
  9. I'm going to be controversial, but the "writer" is worse. I never "stopped" watching Days of Our Lives during Dena Higley's first stint, and I even struggled through her 2015 50th anniversary return alongside Josh Griffith & Beth Milstein, yet I stopped multiple times under the "writer," including now. So yeah... there's that.
  10. Thank fück. Again: I do believe Frank Valentini is talking about the return of John J. York's Mac. I do.
  11. Lorraine Broderick especially. But I also think, after All My Children, she didn't want to head write anymore. But she should have gone to General Hospital over the "writer."
  12. It's a lost-cause at this point, and it's obvious they still are not utilizing that they're a streaming soap.
  13. It'd be easy: bring the Hortons back in. Stop with the multiple personality storylines, baby-swaps and never-ever mention the damn Devil again!
  14. Both are a legitimate nightmare. I'd love to write for daytime, but I'd turn down Days of Our Lives for a myriad of reasons... the first being the head writer.
  15. Should have been Josh Kelly. That would have been ACE casting. But we all know Disney Television is waiting for Jonathan Jackson to call and say, "I'm in!" 🤣
  16. You know what they say about big noses... 😇
  17. Instead of Chris Van Etten as a breakdown writer, it should have been Dan O'Connor, who was the stronger of the two. I am happy O'Connor is employed, but boasting that you're working with the "writer" and the [former] blog owner, that isn't something to be proud about.
