For me, had Austin Peck returned in 2011 over Patrick Muldoon, I do think the return would have done better. I get why Muldoon came back over Peck, but... he just did not work in the role anymore. Carrie's storyline was solid... I just don't get why they were cut alongside Matthew Ashford & Sarah Joy Brown. It seemed like such a cop-out exit.

Yes, it could have ended in tragedy. There is zero excuse, in 2024, for anyone to be driving under the influence. And for his team to be putting out stories placing blame on Britney Spears...? C'mon now. This is a fücking "adult."

Considering Diana is coming back and supposedly there might be an arrival of Xander's mother, it's suspected Theresa leaves and Gwen comes back as part of Leo's storyline.

I know I'll already like her better even though I hate Gabi. I hated Banus as an actor.

Because, despite the co-EP change, this show is still a shîtshow behind-the-scenes and creatively.

Now there is suspicion online that Emily O'Brien is done as Theresa... and is returning as Gwen. What a mess.

Tognoni would be Billie Reed. No ifs, ands or buts about it. She is Billie Reed for me. From what I've read: Cassie was not a well-liked character, and it's actually a shame Kyle Lowder did not work out long-term as Rex, because that was smart casting that should have worked out. And again, Tognoni for Billie. 🤣 Of course I take that into consideration, and even in his brief original stint, I did appeal to Barash as Stefan... but again, it was also material written for Christopher, so that I understand.

I completely get your POV on this... it was a casting 180 for me from Christopher to Barash. I think Stefan was meant to be built more European in terms of his appeal, and the Days of Our Lives equivalent of Nikolas Cassadine. Christopher was just more mysterious in the role, and I liked that appeal.

Lilley would've been a fine Belle, but after the reception/reaction she had as Maxie, I think that would've turned her off from it. Unlike you, I don't mind Madison as Belle. But, we won't go into that... unless you want Gina Tognoni as Belle. 🤣 JUST KIDDING, DARLING! As for Cassie... I think they could recast, but I don't see the point. I am sure, pre-London move, Christie Clark would've been up for a permanent return following her 2012 firing. Belle & Carrie should both be on-canvas, going against each other in court: one as D.A. and one as a defense lawyer, etc. That would be fun.

The attempts to keep Brandon Barash on the cast seem futile. He's a fine actor... but both Stefan and Jake are DUDS. Stefan was built for Tyler Christopher, and I feel like had he remained in the role, it would've fared better. But, killing off Stefan should've been the end. But they wanted Barash... SMFH.

Trust me. I damn-well near died last night. No lie. Couldn't sleep a wink. Not a wink. And I'd blast the A/C at work.. but can't, because it'll freeze the pipes. Already warned everyone at work I'm going to be a raging bitch the next few days, and this was before this A/C thing happened.... whew.

The complete disappoint of expecting to come home yesterday after sweating like a whøre in church at work to come home to my cold AF A/C, and it was instead muggy and completely disgusting... I'm just... ugh. I know my A/C was on its last leg. Had it eight/nine years, so it was bound to happen. Was hoping to get one more summer out of it before replacing next year. Guess not. Getting a new one this afternoon before work.

I remember when it was suspected Jen Lilley was cast as either Belle or Cassie, and then announced to be Theresa. Belle & Carrie, surprisingly both lawyers, are forgotten and ignored. Alison Sweeney's exit as Sami should've been the open door for both of them to come back.

Well, Miller did land Nova Vita, which unfortunately did not do much.
