  1. CBS can only do so much; production is in the hands of Bell Dramatic Serial Company & Sony Pictures Television, and considering the CBS Daytime division as it was once is pretty much.... done, I doubt someone at CBS is going to care as much. And so long as Steve Kent is involved a major change will not be happening.
  2. So many sets are the same set, just re-decorated to appear different. It's so cheap in every sense of the damn word. Beyond the penthouse, I'd really like to see the original hospital set return. This smaller version of the already small set is just not cutting it.
  3. Absolutely. It's a magical hallway without endless possibilities. Reminds me of a comedy series set.
  4. And then trying to sell the current set at their penthouse, when it's nothing but a damned living room.
  5. Well, she also knows first-hand from her own experience on Santa Barbara. She said this about the cancellation and what she felt could have saved it: ❝ I think we learned about the cancellation about six months before it left the air. It was heartbreaking. What could have saved it? If I knew the answer to that, we'd still have twelve soaps on the air. More viewers, certainly. Better ratings. ❞ Sounds like six-years later, she learned what the answer was, as she is giving us Beyond the Gates nearly 32-years after Santa Barbara ended.
  6. General Hospital (the place) is the heart of this soap, and I'm happy Patrick Mulcahey was slowly beginning bringing the heart back.
  7. I just can't wait to see Isaiah working at the hospital! We need all the personnel we can nab.
  8. 🤣 Or I could be reading into things too much, which I do sometimes.
  9. Isaiah seems like a natural flirt: Jordan, Liz, Portia, etc. he's got that personality.
  10. Both Isaiah & Lucas think they're doing the Lulu transplant surgery on their own, only to realize they're sharing the duty, and it creates some intense tension. Upon celebrating their successes, they share a moment of profound passion. Yes, Isaiah would be a bisexual God.
  11. I agree; plus, her relationship with Maggie was always one I enjoyed seeing.
  12. He just needs to ditch his annoying-ass wife, and find a partner worthy of him. 🤐
  13. Melanie's last substantial stint worked for me, aside from her pairing with Brady. I could have done without that. I think part of the hate comes from them tying her to Daniel Jonas, who a lot of people hated with a fiery passion.
  14. While I'm open to actors being hired as a potential love interest in the future, that last thing this soap needs is more cast members. Let's cut some much-needed dead weight first before hiring in new players.
