I absolutely agree. Or if someone else had the Democratic nominee over her.

He is not any longer; ABC updated their cast bios (which are only for regular-status cast) and he was not included, suggesting he's been demoted back to recurring status. It's how we had confirmation of Charles Mesure & Kristen Vaganos' status change. He's recurring. Abby was an amazing romance... as was Sabrina. The missed Michael romance? Maxie. When they were both going to grief counseling, I had some sense of chemistry between them, and thought that'd be an interesting pairing for them both. I think they need to challenge the role of Michael and if Duell does not respond... they should reach out to Adamson and bring him in ASAP.- GH: August 2024 Discussion Thread
I don't think Anna needs familiar ties or a love interest. No soap character does, in my opinion. Anna serves her purpose, and her connections on-canvas are just as important. The main problem is this is the longest stint Finola Hughes as ever done as Anna. Twelve years. Her previous longest stint was from 1985 to 1992. And think it's showed in [some] storylines for Anna. Sasha has some ties to the canvas, and I'd wager her connection to Nina has been a success with viewers, who [still] desire her to be Nina's long-lost daughter over Tree.- Y&R April 2024 Discussion Thread
This Ashley storyline is hilarious to me... but Eileen Davidson is knocking it out of the park.- GH: August 2024 Discussion Thread
Mhmm, and it's also why I was happy with Patrick Mulcahey: he'd weave characters in mid-scenes and mid-episodes, which was refreshing and gave it a more community feeling. YUP! Making him a daddy x2 was a mistake, too. I also don't buy him as an ELQ CEO or involved in Aurora at all. With all he went through post-coma, I do wish he'd been the one diagnosed with bi-polar, or PTSD that gets triggered.- What Are You Listening To?

I mean, altogether, this soap could use some of its recurring cast cut, especially if they're not going to be used to their fullest potential. Let's be real, only one-fourth of the cast is realistically used in episodes until it comes time for guarantees to be met, and then we're force-fed drivel. He has been coasting since Michael went back from Quartermaine to Corinthos. Adamson's temporary stints infused so much into the role it was refreshing to see. But yeah, Duell does not try... I saw him on The Bay and he tried on that. He just needs to be challenged again. Oh, he does and I am fully understanding of that. It's just... unfortunately, LOL!- ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?

Cutting would eventually lead to recasts for Brook Lynn & Josslyn, yes, but cutting those roles needs to happen for that to happen from my POV. Unless Briana Lane can quickly come in for BLQ, then the role can stay. Violet & Natalia are recurring... so I didn't count recurring, as they're only paid-per-appearance, so those cuts would be futile in my eyes. I'm about cutting those signed to deals. And, in that regard, it could also mean [some] recurring Veterans (ie: John J. York, Jon Lindstrom, Lynn Herring) would potentially sign deals. Michael I'm OK with Chad Duell staying so long as the wriring for the role improved, or they can get Robert Adamson to sign on full-time. And Adam J. Harrington is recurring, so I didn't include him because of how I regarded recurring players. Yup; it's a unrealistic "wish," although Burton has walked so his exit would be easier to script. Once again, recurring is futile to cut. They're on a pay-per-appearance status. So, if he's not being written for, then he's not being paid and that money goes elsewhere. And wow.. what a piss-poor generalization to say "having two Australian WSB guys on the show is redundant." Gross POV to have, honestly.- GH: August 2024 Discussion Thread
May I ask why those three? I feel like Anna is the one to keep (due to her Veteran status) and Sam has been cool since leaving the Gruesome Threesome Hour world. Sasha is meh. I like her sticking around because she isn't a blood relative to any of the main families but, at the same time, she could be cut. My "cut" list changes often, and I'm going to say it: cutting recurring players does nothing for this soap, because it is the regulars that need to go. At this point, this is my cut list from the series regulars (or demote to recurring, which could also leave to them being cut altogether): Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson) Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) Evan Hofer (Dex Heller) Josh Kelly (Cody Bell) Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait) Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) Giovanni Mazza (Giovanni Palmieri) Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine) Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford)- DAYS: Head Writer Ron Carlivati Departing Peacock Soap After Seven Years
