  1. Having kids on the canvas doesn't bother me as much as it does others. What bothers me is the lack of story for them, overall. Look at James, he is the poster kid: he has story, he has the star quality and he is the best of Maxie's three spawns.
  2. Honestly, watching the show pre-Shane Isheev is kind of refreshing. As for the 2011/social media, it's clear the person in-charge of their social media isn't paying attention. 🤣 And the Digital Spy article full-out confirms: the show has been a success on Prime Video in the UK, and again: it earned Daytime Emmy nominations. I'm not concerned one bit.
  3. They would make that child the second-coming of Jesus.
  4. I don't think flashbacks were the original route they were intending to take; it was a post-Marland death decision.
  5. *looks at Helena, Stavros* *turns to Valentin/Charlotte* JOIN THEM Those die, too. *looks at Sasha* didn't her baby die right around Christmas?!
  6. Death is death on GH... it's all we receive from this soap now: death and miserable.
  7. Blaze was an over-glorified day-player that way played-out their welcome. She can stay gone, and her mother can join her, permanently. The brother should never be mentioned again.
  8. It's the same thing they did with Rory, which was a superior partner for her over Spencer. 🙃
  9. I completely agree; I've always believed, since her debut, she's been a nice mix of both Julie Marie Berman and Emme Rylan, which you don't always get in a recast. And yet, she feels fresh in her own portrayal. I agree; plus, I'm going to need a history re-visit between Emma & Josslyn, and for Emma to let Joss have it for her treatment of both Cameron & Spencer. It's OVERDUE!
  10. It definitely sucks, but it feels on-brand for a Spencer.
  11. In the oven now. YUM.
  12. Credits for Monday, December 23, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Cathy Lepard, Steve Rosenberg, Anne Schoettle Director: Robert Markham
  13. As I previously posted, the plan was to age Cooper, via makeup and prosthetics. But, when Marland died, the plans were scrapped.
  14. Lucinda Walsh's mother, Gloria Keller.
  15. It will be interesting to see how Emma reads opposite Anna; it's her most-important relationship on the canvas. Trina is there as a emotional whipping post for Josslyn. That's her job as a character.
  16. Who knows; it's not like the dialogue being written by Griffith is awe-inspiring. I'd wager Ray Wise & Colleen Zenk dink their teeth into their material, and actually give it some of the power it lacks in-script.
  17. You mean, that's not what this soap has become? The most basic-ass stage play ever?
  18. All because she was living in Los Angeles and, that's the only reason she came back, because of the serial's move to the west coast. She signed a one-year deal, with the option of a second, and opted to not choose the option. From Soap Central (published October 12, 2008): ❝ Now a year into her return, Budig opted not to green-light an option that would have allowed her to stay with the show for another year. The toll of having to lead a bicoastal life -- husband Bob Guiney lives in Los Angeles, where he had Budig settled after her 2006 exit from All My Children -- has become too difficult. ❞
  19. Just be happy she didn't come from the Nelle Benson/Esme Prince/Molly Lansing-Davis 3.0 recast pile of extra long-haired actors.
