  4. Another solid episode today. Liked how things moved and changed. We're getting back on track after years of just misery.
  5. I appreciate that Nicholas is fully immersing himself in the depths of addiction and is now transitioning to the use of cocaine. I never thought he would be one of Nikki's kids to be an addict, but I love it, as it adds depth to his character.
  6. It would be spoiler-ish to post, so:
  7. I have faith in its renewal. I really do. We got the 2025 to 2026 pickup on May 12, so if they follow suit, I suspect we could get it from then on. Yes, they could wait to see how the big crossover performs. I am maintaining my optimism for the pickup. I really am.
  8. As they should. I suspect we will get that pickup in the next month; if I recall, it was around May 2025 when we got the pickup for 2026.
  9. Shows how much they care about that character.
  10. Not as tiresome as her wig attempting to hold on for dear life.
  11. This soap's hair/make up/costume department have been lazy since COVID. Beyond lazy.
  12. Credits for Thursday, April 9, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte Writers: Micah Steinberg; Stacey Pulwer and Cathy Lepard Director: Jillian Dedote
  13. original release date: Thursday, April 9, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Judy Tate | director: Anthony Pascarelli Thoughts: Samantha needs to accept that June does not want to attend the cotillion. It is her choice. And she has made it. Is Dana really standing in the middle of the police department, bitching about Darlene right now? It is not your country club exclusively, Dana. I appreciate Darlene apologising on behalf of Izaiah for him asking Naomi to reach out to Jacob. It shows she is aware of things more than I thought she was. I like that we get some of Bradley's backstory of joining the Dupree family and his history of becoming acclimated, via a bake in the backyard. I would have skipped that dinner, though. You go, Eva! Speak your truth and call out Izaiah for his lack of support for you and your relationship. This bodyguard idea is going to cause serious trouble for Bradley. I feel bad. This is not good. Not good at all. The singular rose from Grayson is a very thoughtful gift. And good on him for shutting down Jacob. That is good for keeping Lia away, even if temporarily. Darlene is not going to put up with Dana for any longer than she needs to, and unlike the Duprees, I have a feeling she will not be taking the high road in dealing with her, either. Damn. Samantha. That was a bit harsh of you to talk to June like that. Way too harsh, actually. Okay, that gift from Izaiah is actually very sweet and unique. I like that. A lot. I should have known that Marcel knew who Lia was. I am sure he knows that she is the insider at the hospital, too. Messy, messy boots. Notes: Woo-hoo! A double dosage of Montgomery! That's so exciting! The lighting on this soap continues to be top tier. The early morning sun in the Richardson-Smith home is gorgeous! It's gorgeous, and it feels so realistic! Should have known that hiding the login password from the Richardson-Smith household would have made sense with Nicole hiding it, too. Smart but also very, very risky at the same time.
  14. Writers: Michael Montgomery Judy Tate Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  15. This "soap" is doing nothing for me, again. Might be time to tune back out again.
  16. She already confirmed that there were talks, but because they are filming in Georgia and not California, it has not worked out thus far.
  17. Beth Maitland as Traci is a comfort watch; whenever she is on, it feels natural and like home. Plus, having Traci interact with Lily reminds me of Colleen, who should still be an active character on the canvas.
  18. No, it doesn't. Since day one, even with the "writer", Paulina was written directly for Jackée. Under a different actor, one with actual dramatic appeal, there could be some viability for the character. But until that happens, Paulina will be a caricature.
  19. * looks at The Bold and the Beautiful * That soap would have to admit to having Black characters first. I did not mind Darius McCrary as a Malcolm recast. To me, this is how you should recast a role with someone completely different. The material just was not there. She is what I would refer to as a "parody actor", especially when her replacements are miles better than her. No one is on that set telling her to reel it in. And it shows.
  20. Oh no. I like it, and it's a fair credit, outside of the core four stars.
  21. Today's episode was pretty enjoyable, aside from some acting decisions, which feels common for this soap. Nikki Crawford may be younger than Renee Jones (which does not bother me), but she does read older than she is. Additionally, her "pained" expression throughout the episode when she was in a coma was a deliberate choice. Jackée Harry continues to prove she is not a dramatic actor. She should stick to comedies, although this soap is essentially a comedy.
