I'm glad to see her say nice things about YR even after that Eric mess.

Eva Longoria on YR from an interview she did the other day.

"My mom was so happy when I got the contract because I did like one line on General Hospital and one line on another soap. And I just remember that was the dream, if I could just get on a soap opera," she says. "Then it was a lot of work. I mean, you know, it's a daily show. We move really fast. And, you know, I liked my bubble because I didn't really work with anybody else except Doug Davidson and Christian LeBlanc. So I was in a really small bubble while I was on that show, but it was fun. It was a lot of fun."

Eric Braeden is such Big Fish, Small Pond that I doubt Eva even heard about it. No one outside of the soap sphere cares what that man has to say.

The idea of Dante/Sam sounds so much better on paper than in actuality.

That's how I feel about Brook Lynn and Boy Scout Chase. But she's got no personality, no fire, no purpose outside of not making him upset. Why isn't she a spitfire like her mom?

She just like me fr. I simply roll out of bed for work (from home) all the time. Where's my huge paycheck?

    Look at us twinning.

I wonder if they are dragging this Sasha stuff out because of the actress's pregnancy?  It's gone on far too long and if the show wants to keep Sasha they have to give her something else.

Ned almost dying doesn't phase Nina because Sonny won't care about that.  Nina doesn't actually feel bad about anything, IMO.  She's just worried Sonny will dump her.

They should just let the poor woman sit down! Instead she's wearing an oversized blazer and giant purse talking endlessly about her conservatorship. A lot of these appearances feel like they're just meeting an actor's guarantee.

Every time Sam shows up I think "they really don't want Kelly to take a month long paid vacation to the Bali, do they?". Because she has absolutely nothing to do. If I have to watch one more scene where Sam and Dante, who always look like they just met, make out and talk about how amazing the other is I'll scream.

    And yeah, Nina's a nutjob.

Correct.  Even if I found some of Real's acting choices a little off he at least was giving me something.  Jordan and Curtis barely have a pulse.  Sam looks like a high energy spitfire compared to them lol.  Couple the episode with the Sasha/Gladys story and I tend to understand why Hulu might be questioning even putting the episode up at all to spare us.😂

Honestly, this Sasha/Gladys is go-nowhere doldrums. And we've had a solid 6 months of it. Sasha will yell at Gladys like an angry elementary school teacher and Gladys will beg for forgiveness. It's all so predictable and boring filler.

Here is a radical theory. I think Ava has Dissociative Identity Disorder. Her alter is Mason's boss. Ava has no idea that her alter exists. Mason is blackmailing Ava on her alter's behalf.

Sure, why not? Sounds more interesting than, again, 5 months of go-nowhere story they'd treated us to.

I can't believe they put Ned into a coma for Nina's stupid secret. Nina who has looked guilty for turning in Drew and Carly to the SEC (can they just say the government?) for months but doesn't seem bothered at all that Ned tripped running to tell on her?

I hate how Hulu is so inconsistent about when they put GH up.  Can't there be a set time?  Days goes up in Peacock at a set time (or within a few minutes).  Not that I was in a rush for the last few days shows as nothing happened at all.  I honestly felt the whole Curtis birthday party did not need to last two episodes.  The story with Curtis/Jordan/Portia isn't working overall at all.  It's like Portia is the only one that even shows signs of life.  Taggert did too, but his acting was pretty cringe.

Brook and Real are the only actors invested in any of this.

Yeah, it is unfortunate those women couldn't or didn't support her and it's sad SJB feels hurt and betrayed.  I think there is a larger conversation overall in the fact that women are calling out other woman for not being supportive enough though.  That doesn't feel supportive either when many other more powerful people including the female EP and her male lead said nothing.

Agreed. Even victims have a tendency to punch down, it's easier.

I genuinely believe her trauma and issues are real, but I truly haven't seen any of her former co-stars speak out and support her claims.   Again that doesn't mean they aren't valid or real I am just confused why those three women specifically bother her.

I'm certain it comes from a place of "women supporting women" and Vanessa and Nancy having similar incidents in their employment with ABC, incidents that Steve and Maurice are almost certainly aware of but weren't subjected to. She likely wanted or expected some solidarity.

What was that nurse scene all about? Could she be (connected to) Harmony?

I'm curious too. I really enjoyed it, I thought the actress was great and so warm even being limited to only "eye" acting. And while not the best written scene it did attempt to dig into the psychological and push and pull of Willow's conflict accepting someone she doesn't like in Nina as her mother and also accepting that the woman who raised her was neither a good mother or a good person.

JorBot can't kiss to save her life. Watching Zeke and Jordan passionlessly smash faces at each other wasn't the sweltering button to end yesterday's show on that they might have thought it was.

Good for him. I think we’re stuck with either the subpar temp recast or a nuMolly or possibly shelving this entire story (I wouldn’t cry about it).

Speaking of recasts, Kristina was recast only to not be seen for two weeks. I don’t want to read too much into it but perhaps they’re deciding if this rumored surrogacy story is even worth exploring with both roles recast?

  10. Really hate that Zeke's been in all of two episodes, while looking incredible handsome and charismatic despite GH's strenuous exposition laden dry dialogue, and already saddled with charisma vacuum Commissioner Barbie because GH is a black and white checkerboard apparently.

Jordan couldn't have possibly run into eligible bachelor Caucasian Cody or Derma Filler Finn. No, no Zeke couldn't be in town to romance a returning Lucas or as a spoiler to BLQ and Chase's Sweet Valley Highjinks.

    Still the dumbest thing ever.

I would not trade the Reva post-partum story or the Josh/Harley stuff for a joint exit. I love what I've seen of those stories.

At least she was off the show for a good 5 years. At first I thought they tried to squeeze marrying a prince and giving a birth and being Amish into two years. Still dumb as hell.

Am I wrong in thinking that Reva returning as "Amish" was largely a sight gag for the Slut of Springfield? Doesn't seem like they did much with it beyond introducing Abby.

I'd really love to know how they reconciled all that backstory. Where did Richard find her? Did he try to find her family? Did anyone? I kinda get why Edmund was so upset, you mean that this random amnesiac's child is gonna have more power than me?

That was all retconned. She went off the cliff, appeared a couple of times as a ghost when Josh started dating Annie, then was discovered in Amishtown with amnesia. The San Cristobel story was invented later.

Did they ever explain how Reva got to Amishtown from San Cristobel with a second bout of amnesia?

That appears to be the rumor.  I don't know how much of it is fanfiction.  A cursory glance of her socials makes it look like they are pretty close.  I hope I don't die today so my last search isn't are Joss and Dex dating in real life? on my browser😂

They were full on making out, tongue and all! Pretty rare for TV to see macking like that.

    Annnnd he's 26 and she's only 19. Welp.

Twitter's not the real world obviously but I find it weird that I can't find their zesty makeout scene but a random Sprina post has 200k views. I really wanna find that scene to confirm my suspicions lol.

I think LW's portrayal goes a long way to make Carly likeable.  I will say the one thing the show has always kept consistent about Carly is her unwavering loyalty though.  Michael is really dumb.  I can't believe Carly explained she was unwilling to give up info on Sonny she knew he'd get away with and Michael then proposed info that would put Sonny behind bars for real and thought she'd go for that.  It's like Michael just didn't listen or ignored the entire first half of the conversation lol.

Carly's needs to disown both her boring, hating-ass kids. Their Sonny bloodlust has reached its peak, it's especially hard to watch because Maurice is fully in his "I'm just getting through this" era. It looks like a couple of yapping puppies harassing a retired bloodhound.

I HOPE the writers are smart enough to use Anna Devane to anchor Jackson to this cameo. They were a highlight in the dark Culliton/ Raysfield/Cascio years. Anna was Chief of Police, and Jack was the DA.

They definitely were chemistry testing Jack and Anna. Remember at Jack/Erica's aborted wedding, Brooke and Anna cornered Jack and told him he still had a chance to escape?

Unlike OLTL Nora's appearance which was pretty random, Jack and Anna are actual friends and had a real relationship. I'd rather play this up, than a "blink and you miss it" insider joke opposite Genie, James, or MEK.

Maybe he's there to assist Martin in Anna's case. That's more interesting than him showing up to be the lawyer for Carly and Drew's non-problem (wealthy people like them don't suffer real consequences for these type of crimes so all this sturm und drang is stupid).

Yesterday proves that, despite having some problems being a decent person, Carly is still someone to root for. Maybe it’s the writing or Laura Wright’s portrayal, but it was obvious yesterday.

I think it was more LW having something to sink her teeth into beyond posturing with Nina for 6 months. And she killed it.

Why is Cameron doing everything himself this time around, unlike the original story line when he paid Gabe to do his dirty work. Is Gabe still in prison?

Because they are lazy unimaginative writer(s). Y&R's villains used to have underlings as their calling card. Now we have Cameron back for a month long story that will amount to nothing. I don't know why they bother.
