I'm confused. The word "trolling" can mean various things depending on the context and I sometimes miss written subtleties. Does Cornyn really want to overturn Brown? I took him literally. If he's being sarcastic I don't find it funny. What does he mean?

Not really. They said that ... for the first Beyond Salem that they had to do something literally outside of Salem in other location(s) - - - so that it wouldn't affect the continuity of regular daytime DAYS. The idea being that some viewers might not see Beyond Salem right away if they don't have Peacock, and it might not be available right away in other countries. So they filmed an independent five-episode Beyond Salem One, with the idea that it's canon but ... the characters in the regular daytime show wouldn't refer to its events until several months later on, so that by that time the daytime viewers would have had time to see Beyond Salem and understand the references. And also regular daytime viewers could *never* watch Beyond Salem and still be able to follow the storylines because the stuff about Leo being a jewel thief was summarized enough on the main show with a few lines of dialog. So for Beyond Salem 2 -- they are doing the same idea -- going to multiple locations and dealing with special objects (prisms instead of a jeweled peacock), so I get why you're saying it's the same thing ... But it actually sounds quite different because Beyond Salem One was a new story about the peacock. Beyond Salem Two is dealing with an ACTUAL storyline from the 1980s. Something that's past canon. The press release said "it all connects back to a plot that long-time DOOL fans will surely remember." Now we know it is the Three Prisms storyline from the 1980s. It's only ONE episode, or at most two episodes. Fairchild's character is the hostess of a home shopping channel. Susan Batten plays a home-shopping star. The episode is focused on Sasha who is there to promote Deception products. I think most of the episode is about Sasha's nerves. Lucy, Maxie, and Brando are there, too. SOD put "Morgan Fairchild to GH" on its cover. For a tiny gig.

The hearing starts at 3pm Eastern. Thursday June 23. Very few major markets get GH at 3pm Eastern (examples: New York, Philadelphia, and North Carolina). Most of the rest of the Eastern timezone gets GH at 2pm Eastern. So most of the USA would see GH before the hearing starts. However GH has decided to preempt today June 23. (Maybe they didn't know the hearing was changed from 1pm to 3pm?) Well anyways, they've officially called a preemption.

It seems they are trying to throw Chelsea at whomever to see what will stick. Sigh. I don't want her with either Billy or Nick but ... Never Billy. She raped him. I won't forget that.

Thursday June 23 has been changed to 3 pm Eastern. A lot of sites still show the old time of 1pm but it's now 3pm. And yes the remaining hearings will be in July after the House takes its break.

A little BTS update for Y&R. Cait Fairbanks and Zach Tinker met back when Zach was playing Michael and Lauren's son Fen on Y&R. The characters of Tessa and Fen both worked for Devon's music production company. The actors Cait and Zach were in a relationship back in 2019. It had seemed that they might have ended their romance around 2020 or 2021 because they weren't in each other's instagram posts much anymore. But I wasn't sure. Zach and Cait got vaccinated together in April 2021, but that could have been a work thing or a friend/buddy thing. But then I guessed they weren't still together because Zach mentioned offhand in an interview a while back (for DAYS or Beyond Salem or the Days Christmas movie, I forget which) that his "ex-girlfriend" was really into "true crime". That must have been a reference to Cait -- Cait is a songwriter and she even recorded a song about her avid interest in true crime. I suppose Zach could have had more than one ex with that interest, but it seemed unlikely. I had bookmarked the interview but then lost my bookmarks. Wasn't sure if I had remembered right. Didn't want to post unless I was sure. Also I thought I had read that Cait mentioned offhand a reference to her "musician boyfriend", .... so that was another confirmation she's not with Zach anymore. But I couldn't remember when she said that, and didn't want to post in case I was mistaken. I just noticed Cait's instagram post of February 14, 2022 about her valentine which has a pic of her boyfriend. He's a musician (mostly drums) named Jay Randolph. https://www.instagram.com/jay__ru/ (They previously had a few pictures of each other on instagram since summer 2021 but no reference to romance.) Jay now has a pic of her dated May 22, 2022 captioned "Me N' My Cait". According to the Sept. 2020 issue of Modern Drummer magazine, Jay Randolph studied jazz drumming at the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York where he graduated in 2013. He has played drums for "Weyes Blood" (aka Natalie Mering) on an album and he toured with Weyes Blood, too. He has collaborated with musician Chris Cohen. The same Sept. 2020 article says he also drums with the ethereal art-pop band "Midnight Sister" in the Los Angeles area. I mean I know this doesn't really matter at all -- because Cait's personal life is totally none of our business. But I have noticed occasional SON posts referencing Zach Tinker dating Cait, and I wanted to clear it up that they aren't anymore. I think they're still friends though.

Days was not shown in a lot of the US today June 21, but it wasn't "officially fully preempted" -- so if your station didn't air it, you have to watch it on peacock. A very few cities in the eastern time zone get Days from noon-1pm. That's where the early live-tweets come from. Those cities got to see Days before the live hearing started today. Most of the eastern and central timezone was overridden by the live hearing which started at 1pm Eastern. Western timezones got to see Days after the live hearing was over. But even nobody saw Days today, NBC would not have cared. They'd say too bad, just watch it on peacock.

B&B was preempted in the US on Tues. June 21. Did it air in Canada? Just curious if they aired a rerun or what?
