I realize you're being snarky about the subscription stuff, and I totally get that. but ... It's not just Peacock. Days can be seen in Canada on the W Network and the Global app. Current episodes in Australia on Fox One. I mean maybe with a VPN it can be viewed? I don't know.- DAYS: villainess returns - update: on Feb. 24
Okay this has already been mentioned in the Alfonso/Reckell return thread, the Victoria Konefal returns thread, and the Days Winter Spoiler Video (Day Of Days promo) thread But I think Miranda Wilson should get her own thread. Miranda Wilson will return as Megan Hathaway on regular daytime DAYS, to continue the storyline that aired in Beyond Salem Two, with Alfonso, Reckell, Konefal, and Steve Burton. The Day of Days Winter promo video shows this. It seems they are all doing a storyline arc *within* regular daytime DAYS, I don't know if Miranda will be appearing for only that arc, or if she'll be around longer.- YR Promo "Diane is in Danger"

On the B&B Halloween episode, Lauren Fenmore visited Eric Forrester. They talked all about Sheila and her recent exploits in Los Angeles, and how grateful they are that she recently "died" from a bear attack. Spoiler for Friday, December 9: "Finn and Steffy recount their theory about Sheila... to Eric, Carter, Brooke, Liam and Hope." I wonder if Eric will notify Lauren that Sheila may be alive after all? It will be stupid if he doesn't! Meh, he'll probably say "Let's not do anything or tell anyone until we know for sure" and then it will drag on or fade away.- YR Promo "Diane is in Danger"

Going all the way back through Sheila's 30 years on Y&R and B&B - she is the classic sociopath who is incapable of feeling remorse or guilt about harming someone else, and incapable of feeling responsible for anything. I mean, she was annoyed that her bullet hit Finn - but she doesn't feel guilt/responsibility about shooting him because that was "Steffy's fault". Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault.- BOLD Promo "The Walls Are Closing In"
Steffy not happy to hear about Sheila.- Mystery YR return
LOL that's exactly what it is. Noah was inspired to decorate the Top of the Tower intentionally with a 1970s theme for the Teriah wedding. After that, he decided to open his own club. But I don't think he realizes this is a bad parody. ROFL. I mean, even the name of it. It's called "The Glam Club". I used to hang out in discos in the 1970s and they didn't look like this.- Y&R December 2022 Discussion Thread

Yeah I'd love it if she lost but if you scroll up just a few posts, https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/28724-the-politics-thread/?do=findComment&comment=1826514 I posted the details about the recount there. I have to appreciate the *details* of what it says in that article - the statements by her opponent Democrat Adam Frisch. It sounds like he genuinely cares. And this part: Quoting article snippet: That conclusion [that a recount would be unlikely to change the results] was the reason Frisch conceded the race on Nov. 18, saying it would be unethical for his campaign to continue accepting money from supporters. “Please save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children, and for other important causes in organizations,” he said that day. Frisch said his concession last month "remains sincere but has no legal implication — under no circumstances did I want it to stop (which it legally cannot) this recount of votes." End quote. He clearly *wants* to win, but he wants people to save their money and energy for where it can be used best. Seems unselfish to me. And the article concludes by saying he has already filed to run again for Congress in 2024. Realistically, recounts usually change results by only a handful of ballots. But yeah wouldn't it be amazing if they find the 550 votes to overturn Boebert's win? Unlikely but you never know. I'm glad this is an automatically-generated District-wide recount that is careful and (hopefully) unbiased, so that integrity is upheld. That being said, I can't believe people voted for her. Sigh.- RIP: In Memoriam Thread

Lauren Boebert automatic recount https://www.cpr.org/2022/12/01/state-orders-recount-boebert-frisch-race-district-3/ Dec. 1, 2022 State-mandated recount ordered in Boebert-Frisch race to represent Colorado District 3 Colorado’s Secretary of State’s office has ordered a mandatory recount of the election results between Republican Lauren Boebert and Democrat Adam Frisch in the 3rd congressional district race. The recount is required by state law. While Boebert proclaimed victory and Frisch conceded the race 10 days after Election Day, there are currently 550 votes separating the two. That translates to a 0.34 percent vote differential. State statute requires a mandatory recount when a race is within 0.5 percent. “The results of the District 3 race reinforce the fact that every vote matters,” said Secretary of State Jena Griswold in a statement. “Colorado voters have made their voices heard, and I am ordering this recount in accordance with Colorado law to confirm the will of the voters.” All 27 counties within the sprawling district will work with bipartisan canvas boards to test tabulation equipment and then recount all ballots in the same way they were counted during the election. In a statement today, Frisch noted the recount is mandatory and said it “is one of the measures that protects and helps ensure the sanctity of Colorado elections and the decision to conduct a recount is (rightfully so) not influenced by any campaign or candidate.” The recount, which must be completed by Dec. 13, as required by law, is not expected to change the outcome of the race. Recent recounts have shifted no more than a handle of votes. That conclusion was the reason Frisch conceded the race on Nov. 18, saying it would be unethical for his campaign to continue accepting money from supporters. “Please save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children, and for other important causes in organizations,” he said that day. Frisch said his concession last month “remains sincere but has no legal implication — under no circumstances did I want it to stop (which it legally cannot) this recount of votes." Still, the Colorado Republican Party blamed Frisch for the recount and not state law. Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown has called on Frisch to withdraw from the race that ended last month. “He has the unilateral power to prevent wasting Colorado taxpayer money on a frivolous recount if he would just do the honorable thing and withdraw from the race,” she said in a statement. The closeness of the race surprised many after redistricting solidified the district’s red lean, with a 9-point advantage for Republicans. Frisch has filed paperwork to run again in 2024.- The Media/Journalism Thread
