Dana is the name that Ted knew her by. Leslie is the name she uses now with her friends at the diner. Sherry Carter is her persona with the long blondish (light brown) wavy hair wig, in the fake suicide attempt and waitressing at the Nicole gala. Anna is her persona in the short reddish wig at the bar talking with Kat. Silkpress Sheila is the viewers' nickname for her.

I started watching in 1969 and yeah, the Buchanans felt like an invasion to me, too. It changed the tone of the show.

GH: March 2025 Spoilers
When the cast photo appeared in Variety, for the April 1st GH anniversary episode of the Monica Quartermaine Cardiac Wing dedication, I wondered why Head Nurse Elizabeth and Dr. Lucas Jones weren't in the cast photo with the other hospital staff. Especially since Lucas' parents are both on the memorial wall. But now we know that Elizabeth was in the car accident, which aired in Eastern Time around the time when (or shortly after) the Variety article was published, and hadn't yet aired in other time zones. So of course they'll be in the episode, but they didn't reveal the accident at publication time. I assume we'll see them in a hospital room?

DAYS: March 2025 Discussion Thread
Since Joe Mascolo passed away, there's no real nemesis for John Black. Orpheus is the next best choice, if you want a nemesis to be involved in John's death. However, Orpheus has been overused and (slightly) watered down in the past several years, so I don't know if that fits anymore. I like the way they did Epiphany's death on GH. This is what they wrote in after the actress Sony Eddy died suddenly. The character Epiphany was a nurse who had been accepted to medical school, and they said that while en route driving to that med school, she noticed a car accident, and stopped to help a victim and the victim happened to be a nurse. The effort of the rescue caused Epiphany to collapse at the site due to smoke inhalation and a preexisting heart condition. Epiphany died a hero as a nurse about to start medical school, saving another nurse. No darkness or villains involved. I'd prefer to see John Black die a hero, instead of due to some convoluted Orpheus nonsense -- not a spoiler, just seems that's where this is headed. (Of course I wish that John doesn't die, but RIP Drake)

GH: March 2025 Spoilers
Quoting the Variety article again: "Throughout the April 1 episode, there’s also a nod to the heart to the relationships in Port Charles — including the one between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Laura (Genie Francis), as seen in the exclusive clip below — to those who have come through the hospital doors, both as staff and as patients, that have left behind loved ones. Many are remembered on a memorial wall in the new wing." My question: Is it just going to be the same photos from the previously-located wall of photos? Or will they add other prior staff and patients to the wall? Asking because I never saw the need for Britt Westbourne to be on the existing memorial wall -- they added her there after she died. I know Britt was co-chief-of-staff briefly, but her character just wasn't important to the show. But she shouldn't have been included with the mainstays of Lucille, Jessie, Steve, Tony, Bobbie, Alan, Amy Vining, Gail Baldwin, Epiphany, etc. on the existing memorial wall. Perhaps if they expand the photos wall in the new cardiac wing, to have a "less important photos" in a side section to show minor characters who are deceased such as short-term staff and patients, then maybe I'd accept Britt there. But not on the main wall.

This one is *NOT* from Washington Post, but it's a wig spoiler so I'll put it here. From the CBS/EntertainmentTonight special on BeyondTheGates fashion (episode #3 of those five specials). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNClSn3-ixM Credit @Alan who caught this when it aired: if you look closely, the wig on the top left is labeled "Leslie Nurse". screengrab:

photo caption: "Hairstylist Irenia “IV” Vail works out of a cabinet of wigs in the hair and makeup department." The text of the Washington Post article refers to the tour of the set: Wankaya Hinkson, head of the hair department, shows off the “wig closet” containing about two dozen styles (some of which can’t be photographed because of spoilers). Washington Post article dated Feb. 24, 2025. The metadata (also on Getty Images) show that the photos were taken Feb. 6, 2025. With an approximate three-month tape-to-airdate, these scenes probably air in early May (or late April). The Duprees are interacting with Dana-Leslie and with Eva. Original article: https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/2025/02/24/beyond-gates-is-messy-soap-operas-come-so-much-more/ Full copy without paywall: https://archive.is/C2AB6 (Note, WaPo did correct Ms. Tunie's name from Tamarie to Tamara in an edit to its page, and they noted they had corrected it. The "archive.is" version is from the original with the error.) (images credit Alyssa Pointer for The Washington Post) Note that the pics have captions: some are scenes, and some are BTS on set. "Clifton Davis, left, and Brandon Claybon practice lines" "Clifton Davis and Trisha Mann-Grant during a scene on the set." "Ambyr Michelle performs a scene"
