Well, Greg does kinda have to say thank you. He featured his character constantly, never grew tired of him even once, always wrote him as the good guy or as the one in the right even when he was doing horrible things to other characters, paired him with some of the hottest guys on the show, etc. Hell, I’d be angry if Greg didn’t say thank you 😂

I’ll never forgive him for what he did to Craig and Nancy. You don’t destroy a couple just because doing so gives you some kind of sick pleasure.

I’d say by this point he’s got about four fans left 😂😂😂 Actually, GR’s is in a similar boat as Scott Clifton over at B&B. It’s the writing that makes fans despise his character more than anything.

He was on social media defending himself over Bo and Hope’s reunion being botched. He usually doesn’t defend himself when he’s to blame. Hey everybody, all the talk about apologies from people at GH or to people at Days had me thinking all day and I’ve finally come up with a comprehensive list of the actors at Days that I feel Ron owes an apology to. Feel free to add any that I’ve missed… Kassie DePaiva, Kate Mansi, Marci Miller, Patrika Darbo, Victoria Konefal, Emily O’Brien, Lindsay Arnold, Raven Bowens, Sal Stowers, Jessica Serfaty, Chrishell Stause, Billy Flynn, Paul Telfer, Peter Porte, Mike Manning, Brock Kelly, Freddie Smith, Chandler Massey, Zach Tinker, Lucas Adams, Carson Boatman, Matthew Ashford, Kevin Spirtas, Cameron Johnson. And I don’t know why but I think he owes Thaao Penghlis an apology as well, judging from the little shade that Thaao threw when he was on Dishin Days. And even though he loved Marlena and Leo, I think on some level that he owes Deidre Hall and Greg Rikaart apologies as well.

At this point, i don’t anybody staying as long as Leo is gone Btw, where’s @Soapsuds I’m sure he’d love to hear this

I wouldn’t mind it. Yeah, the scab writers made some mistakes, but Salem finally started to feel like a community again. Plus, that Horton house episode was, without a doubt, the best episode of the year so far.

I’d imagine Ron would cast GR as the new up and coming fashion designer, Theo Clark 😂😂

He admitted that he saw the devil as just like any other villain, which was his biggest mistake. There needed to be a lot more effort put into it. And also make a lot more sense lol the devil pretty much forgetting about Ben and Ciara’s baby once he went into Johnny, being able to bring Jan out of her coma but needing a key card to get into Jan’s hospital room, Kristen making jokes about it, etc.

And Kate’s character is played an actor named Margo Lynley. Kayla’s is played by an actor named Katherine Bell Steve’s is played by an actor named Tucker McCall. Definitely eye roll inducing

Jeez, Jamey’s more pathetic than I thought lol I’m hoping now more than ever that he follows Ron out the door.

A lot of people have suggested that Mo was the one who led the charge against him.

I gotta co-sign what @carolineg said. He did have a lot of good ideas, but the biggest problem was the execution was often terrible. In some cases, the worst execution of an idea that I’ve ever seen on a soap. His lack of objectivity, his obsession with certain characters and his disregard for others, his biphobia, his misogyny and his determination to write everything like a big joke didn’t help either. Days has pretty much become a cruel, toxic, mean spirited mess and that’s on him. And yes, he does owe a lot of people at Days an apology; Kassie DePaiva being #1 on the list. He definitely needs to cut all that toxicity out. That’s pretty much the only way he could make it if he ends up writing for another soap. I may have no faith in him as a human being, but I still have some faith in him as a writer lol Oh God, I hope so.

Oh God, if Leo is finally sent packing, that literally would be the icing on the cake

Considering the toxicity in his writing, that thought crossed my mind as well.
