Nick finds himself having a heart-to-heart with Sharon

Det. Maggie Sullivan steps into Crimson Lights, scanning the room for the person she contacted to meet. When her eyes lock on them, she makes her way to the counter to order a cup of coffee. Coffee in hand, she proceeds to the outside patio area and takes a seat. Putting his newspaper down, Paul smiles, asking what Maggie's sudden need to see him. Sipping her coffee, she teases him by letting him know how much she wants him with her. He's about to say something when she raises a hand and informs him that she is talking business. Paul becomes curious and asks her what is up. She informs Paul that William Bardwell is re-opening the Jabot skin cream case; and she's the head detective on the investigation. He wants to know what it is that she needs from him and is more than interested when she tells him that she wants him to work with her on the case.

Nicholas, coat in hand, waits for the elevator to head to the parking structure. After a trying day at work, all he wanted to do was go home and unwind. Looking at his watch, he was glad to know that Phyllis was still in her meeting and wouldn't be coming home right away. Distance was what he needed for the moment and he was going to take it. Stepping on to the opening elevator, he proceeds to push the garage button when he hears a familiar voice calling out to him. In an instant, Sharon is slipping inside the elevator and thanks him for holding it for her. Nodding his head, Nick tells Sharon that he's looking forward to picking up Noah for 'guy' time. She tells him that it's all that Noah has been talking about this week. Nick is about to say something when a sudden jerk happens on the elevator. Each look at each other and in unison say that the elevator is stuck.

Lauren knew that when she walked into Fenmore's it was going to be a day she wish to forget. Heading to the back room, she immediately becomes upset by the fact that Amber once again let a shipment sit around. Grabbing the phone she contacts Federal Express to come pick up the packages. Heading out to the front of the store, she immediately sensed the tension between Amber and Lily. Not wanting to put Amber on the spot, she approaches the young lady and tells her that she wants to talk to her before she heads home. Making her way towards a customer, she hoped that both Lily and Amber would put aside their dislike for one another on the backburner. As Lauren leads the customer to one of the fitting rooms, she hears the snipes and snarks of both women. Turning back, she hurriedly makes her way towards Lily and Amber, telling them to go to the back room: they need to have serious discussion about their attitudes towards one another.

At the Chancellor mansion, Cane and Katherine are conversating with one another. Katherine immediately tells Cane that it was not her intent on trying to hurt him; but that she wanted him and everyone else aware of how devious Amber was. Cane points out that although he knows that she would never purposely hurt him, she could have done it in a more private setting. She again apologizes to him and changes subjects. She asks him if he has ever thought about getting his feet wet in the family company. Cane doesn't feel he would fit in at Chancellor Industries and says no to the offer. Katherine, however, tells Cane that he is family and that she would love for him to learn what he can about the family business. After much thought, Cane agrees to her offer.

In the hallway of Jabot, William Bardwell meets up with Ji Min Kim. William informs Ji Min that since he's the owner of Jabot, he wants him to be aware that they are going to be re-opening the case against Jabot's skin cream. Ji Min questions why the sudden decision to re-open. William is vague at first, but lets him know that the recent death of Tim Gibson among other events have gave him just cause in returning to investigating the crime. Ji Min questions if Jack will be brought back into the investigation, considering he was the one being blamed for the Emma's death. Bardwell tells Ji Min that everyone that was involved in the last case will definitely be brought back when they begin their second investigation and if anyone from that case has cause in hiding the truth, it will be revealed. Ji Min and William are both unaware that Kevin has listened to the whole conversation.

In the elevator at Newman, Sharon and Nick are awaiting for the maitanance workers to get the elevator started. As they wait, Nick asks if Sharon is sure she wants to have a life with Jack Abbott. Sharon is at first hesitant to share her feelings but with Nick's persistence, she tells him that Jack truly cares about her. Nick points out that it doesn't answer the question on if she wants to be with him as his wife. Turning the tables, she asks him if he ever thought he would be married to Phyllis. Nick admits that it was the furthest from his mind. Sharon doesn't mince words when she tells him that Phyllis will always be a troublemaker in her eyes. When Nick grows quiet, Sharon realizes that for the first time, he doesn't have any words to defend his wife. Before they can continue their discussion, the elevator kicks back on and both arriving to the parking garage go their seperate ways.

At the Baldwin home, Kevin arrives to fill Michael in on what he's overheard beteween Ji Min and William. Michael, not liking at all that the case is being re-opened, tells Kevin that they better pray hard for nothing to come back to bite them in the butt this time around. When Kevin informs his brother about the fact that everyone involved in the past case would be also involved in the new investation, Michael realizes that at some point Gloria will be questioned. He tells Kevin that they will have to do whatever they can to keep one step ahead of Bardwell to keep all of them from exposure. When Michael makes a snide comment of the fact that Gibson's daughter prompted the investigation, Kevin fills him in that he's already met her. Michael suddenly wonders if Kevin would be able to use his meeting her to their advantage.

Jill: How dare you go behind my back and offer my son a job.
Katherine: Jill, for heaven's sake, it's not a crime to offer the boy a way to get to know the family
Jill: He would have already known the family if YOU hadn't have done what you did.

Ji Min (on the phone): We need to talk right away, Jack.
Jack: If this is about Gloria, I'm not interested...
Ji Min: It's much worse than Gloria Fisher.

Dru: I don't understand how you of all people can sit there and defend Daniel Romalotti.
Neil: It's not a question about defending Daniel, Dru. It's about letting them work things out themselves.
Dru: If you think I'm going to let that troublemaker continue to hurt my baby, you're sadly mistaken.

Ji Min puts Jack on serious notice.

At the Newman tack house, Phyllis is asking Noah what he would like to have for dinner that evening. He immediately shouts out for pizza and Phyllis is all for it, until Nick quickly shuts down the idea. Phyllis makes the mistake of telling Nick that they should allow Noah to have what he would like, to which Nick snaps about. When Phyllis sees Noah's look of confusion, she quickly changes gears and tells Nick that he's right and that they should eat something else. Noah begins to protest but stops when Nick gives him a glance. Summer, who is upstairs, begins to cry, sending Phyllis to go check on her. Once she is gone, Noah immediately asks why hs father and Phyllis are fighting with one another. Not wanting to get into it, Nick lies and tells him that he's just alittle stressed and that all is fine between the two of them.

Lily is having lunch with her Dru and Neil at the G.C.A.C. when Neil brings up the subject of Daniel into the conversation. Dru, grimaces and tells Neil not to ever say that troublemaker's name as long as she's standing near him. Lily is more than happy to inform them that Daniel was at the apartment, talking to Amber. Without mincing words, Dru has some serious words to say about Mrs. Ashby. Neil immediately cuts Dru off, telling her that although Daniel made a very dumb mistake, he's trying to work things out. Lily can't believe that her father is being so calm about her husband's porn habit. Dru tells Neil that there is no way that she will ever allow Daniel Romalloti near their daughter again. Neil tells Dru that she should mind her business; the marital problems that Lily and Daniel are having are theirs to work on; not them.

When Sharon comes to the Abbott estate, she notices a large arrangement of flowers decorating the master living area. Jack smiles, telling her that he hoped to take her minds off of all things business and put the focus on romance. Sitting on the couch, Sharon is in awe at the arrangement of strawberries and chocolate sauce on a platter. Taking a bite, she tells Jack that it is definitely what she has been needing. He, coming over by her, apologizes again for David planting doubts in her mind about what marriage would be like with him. Waving it off, she tells Jack that David is just too determined for his own good. Jack proceeds to kiss Sharon but is interrupted by his cell phone. Frowning, he looks to see that it is Ji Min on his ID. Standing up, he promises to make his conversation with Ji Min quick. Ji Min tells Jack that there are some serious matters that they need to discuss. Jack, not in the mood to hear the latest antics of Gloria, tells him that it can wait. Ji Min tells Jack that regardless of how he feels, they will be talking with one another: today. Before jack can get a word in, the phone call ends.

In Los Angeles, Jill is relaxing in her master hotel suite when her telephone rings. Picking it up, she is pleased to hear Cane on the other end. He asks her how she's liking Los Angeles, and she lets him know that although working on Extreme Catwalk has been grueling, she's loving the whole atmosphere. Cane tells Jill that he has good news and hope that after he tells her, she will be happy. She jokinly says she'll be so happy to return to see no more Amber, but realizes that it must be bigger news based on his tone. When she asks him what his news is, he tells her that Katherine offered him a position at Chancellor Industries and that he agreed to take the job. Jill is shocked and upset that Katherine went behind her back and coaxed Cane into taking a job. Cane tells Jill that he's willing to give Katherine a chance; why can't she just be happy for him. Jill points out that while she isn't mad at him for accepting the job, she is beyond digusted at Katherine for her actions.

Jack tells Sharon that despite the phone call, they will continue their romantic evening together. Work is on the backburner for the evening, as far as he is concerned. Sharon smiles at that thought and Jack leads them towards the table that is set up for dinner. As the two are sitting down, the doorbell rings. Dismay appears on Jack's face as he heads for the door. Once he opens it, he's upset to see that Ji Min has took it upon himself to come over despite Jack's protests. Ji Min, seeing Sharon, quickly apologizes for interrupting their evening, but stresses the importance it is to discuss something with Jack. Sharon, not wanting to be in the middle of anything, tells Jack that she will go out on the patio for a bit. Once she is gone, Jack snaps into Ji Min for his pushiness. Ji Min disregards him and tells Jack that once he learns what is going on, he will be glad to be in the 'know', especially where Jabot is concerned. Jack asks what he's talking about. Sighing, Ji Min tells Jack of the visit that D.A. William Bardwell made with him. Jack is floored when Ji Min announces that the skin cream case is about to be re-opened adn that everyone, including Jack and Ji Min, himself, will be in the hot seat.

Katherine is in the middle of talking to Eshther when the telephone rings; not getting up, she lets Esther take the call. Esther immediately tells Kay that Jill is on the other line and that she's angry. Taking in a deep breath, Katherine takes the phone and waves Esther away. When she says hello, all she can hear is Jill yelling at the top of her lungs about her once again meddling in her son's business. Once Katherine is able to get her voice heard, she informs Jill that there is nothing wrong with wanting to help Cane by giving him a job; she owes him that. Jill snaps back that if it weren't for Katherine to begin with, Cane would already have a family that he would know, love and cherish. Because of her actions, Cane will never get that back, nor will she. Before Katherine can continue their conversation, Jill tells Katherine she has nothing more to say and abruptly ends their conversation.

Dru's meddling gets her into trouble with Lily

Sharon and Noah are returning from his stay with Phyllis and Nick. He heads upstairs to take his backpack and other things to his room. While Sharon is going through the mail, she thinks about how tense Jack became during their romantic night together. Shaking it off as typical business, she calls Noah down to ask him about his time spent with Nick and Phyllis. When he bounds down the stairs, he quickly fills her in on how Phyllis and Nick were acting distant towards one another. Sharon asks if he is sure that they were fighting; to which is assures her. Noah tells her that when he woke up, he saw Nick fast asleep on the couch downstairs. When Noah leaves, Sharon ponders her conversation that she had with Nick a few days earlier.

At the G.C.A.C. Colleen is re-reading the letter that Adrian sent her. The more she reads it, the more she realizes how much she misses him. Folding the letter up, she begins to make her way towards one of the tables to take orders. As she is taking down the patrons orders, she spots Daniel coming in and quickly smiles in his direction. When she walks his way, he asks her if she has time to talk. Colleen tells Daniel to give her a few minutes to get her table's order in. As he sits at the bar, he thinks about all the damage he's done to his marriage to Lily. After their fight, she make it a point to ignore all of his phone calls, and even brush him off when they would pass one another in the halls at college. When Colleen returns, she asks him what's up. He is hesitant at first, stating not wanting to get Colleen in the middle of his troubles with Lily. Colleen brushes his fear off and tells him that she's willing to help, just as long as he's willing to listen.

At Jabot, D.A. William Bardwell is in full swing, talking to Paul and Maggie about what he expects them to do regarding the skin cream case. Paul questions him as to where they should begin. William immediately informs both detectives that he wants all Jabot employees to give a DNA sample, stressing not to skip anyone. Maggie asks Paul if Ji Min would need to present one; William tells her that although Ji Min came shortly after the fallout, to still keep a close eye out on him. As they are talking, William sees Michael from a distance staring at them. Both detectives and William board the elevator to begin their process. At the other end of the hall, Michael is perplexed by not being in the 'know' of what's taking place.

Drucilla is looking over some Clear Springs photo shoot proofs when a young gentleman knocks on her door. Looking up she smiles when he comes in to give her a few envelopes. When she asks him if he's just started at Newman Enterprises, he tells her that he is a new intern. He introduces himself as Eric. As the two are talking, Lily comes in to see if her mother is ready for lunch. Dru immediately starts talking up Lily to Eric, who can't take his eyes off of her. When he leaves, Dru gushes to Lily that he is a good looking young man that obviously have things going for him. She continues on to say that once Lily kicks Daniel to the curb, Lily can find love with someone that is worth it. Not being able to deal with Dru's constant interference, she barks that Dru needs to mind her business and stop trying to run her life. Her problems with Daniel are her own; and if and when she decides that it's the end, she'll be the one to call the shots. Dru tries to apologize, however, Lily, no longer in a mood to have lunch, walks out.

At Newman Enterprises, Phyllis walks into the break room and sees Nick pouring a cup of coffee. Closing the door behind her, she teases him by asking him if he has a cup for her. He pretends not to hear the joke and takes a seat at the table. Sensing that things are still not right between them, she sits across from him and demands to know what his trouble is. Putting the cup down, he stares at her, asking if she's seriously asking a question as such. He tells her that ever since she took it upon herself to hold Brad's affair with Sharon over their heads, she's caused nothing but trouble for the Newman family. Phyllis tries to deflect the blame by stating that Brad and Sharon were the cause of that, however, Nick's not hearing it. He slams Phyllis for manipulating the situation to her advantage, and because of her, he can't do anything that will hurt his sister.

Later that day, Paul is at the G.C.A.C. when Michael approaches him. Sitting beside him, Michael asks Paul what he has to share with him regarding the case. Paul tells him that all DNA testing on the Jabot employees came back negative. Sighing a little, Michael tells him that it most likely will mean that William will not have anything to resume the case. Shaking his head, Paul stops Michael's thought quickly, by adding that there are two Jabot employees that still need to be tested: Jill and Gloria. A sick feeling suddenly washes over Michael at announcement of his mother's name.

Jill (in Los Angeles on the phone): Are you telling me that William has re-opened the case? I don't believe it!
Ji Min: Believe it, Jill. You and Gloria are the last two they are waiting on.

Amanda: Who would have thought I would be getting served coffee by a Jabot employee.
Kevin: What's that supposed to mean?

Phyllis (approaching Victoria): I was wondering if you had a few minutes. There's something that you need to know.

Michael is the bearer of bad news for Gloria

In Los Angeles, Jill and Gloria are going over ideas on how to answer questions about Extreme Catwalk when the press arrives. Gloria is on a natural high in regards to being the center of attention, telling Jill this is the life she's always wanted to live. Jill r eminds her that even the slightest bit of fame can be dangerous. Waving the notion off, Gloria grabs a pair of sunglasses and tells Jill she's going out to see the 'sights'. As she is walking out the door, Jill's cell phone goes off. Reaching for it, Jill is surprised to hear Ji Min on the the other end. She asks him how things are going in Genoa City and is surprised when he tells her that things aren't going well. Walking towards the window of her suite, she questions what is going on. Ji Min explains to her that William Bardwell has re-opened the skin cream investigation, and conducted DNA testing on all Jabot employees. Jill is outraged at why the matter is now being re-hashed again. Unbeknownst to Jill, Gloria, who returned to retrieved something, has heard a large majority of the conversation.

At Crimson Lights, Kevin is looking at the Genoa City Times when one of his co-workers come in to start their shift. At the same time, Amanda, who is also carrying a copy of the newspaper, finds a sit not too far from the counter. While she is reading the front page story regarding the new developments of the skin cream case, she can't but help listen in on the conversation that is taking place between Kevin and his employee. Kevin makes mention that none of this mess would have happened if it weren't for Jack Abbott's callous and insensitive behavior towards others. Across the way, Amanda lets a small smile play at her lips at Kevin's words of dislike towards the man that cost her family everything. Her smile however turns into a frown when the co-worker asks Kevin if he was working at Jabot during the time the case originally began. She can't even fathom why Kevin would ever would want to stay at a place that did so much damage to so many lives.

Cane is on his way to go to Katherine's when Amber arrives to collect the rest of her belongings. Once inside, she can tell that Cane is in no mood to talk to her. She quickly makes her way to the room to retrieve the rest of her things. As she is coming out, she asks him if he can ever forgive her for what she did, he quickly tells her that he will never forget what she did to him, and that if she's hoping for any reconciliation, she's wasting her time. Opening the door, waits for her to walk out into the hall before slamming the door shut.

At Nick and Phyllis', Victoria stops by to bring over some documents for Nick to sign. Phyllis, who answers the door, iniforms her sister-in-law that he isn't home yet, and offers her to stay to wait for him. Victoria, not too keen on being there with Phyllis, opts to just return at a later time. Phyllis, not at all happy at how things are going between Nick and her, asks Victoria to stay for a bit to talk. Sensing something strange, Victoria asks Phyllis what's really going on. Hesitant for a moment, Phyllis tries to come up with the right way to tell her about what she's done. Phyllis is in the process of her confession when Nick walks in the door and immediately prevents Phyllis from saying one word to upset his sister.

At Crimson Lights, Amber walks in, completely upset by Cane's coolness towards her. As she's getting her a latte, she bumps into Devon, who is picking up an order he called in. He at first doesn't say anything to her, until he notices how upset she is. Taking a seat beside her, he questions what is wrong. Amber begins to lay it on thick about how hurt she is that she's lost the one person that she felt believed in her. The water works begin to fall and Devon, not really knowing what to do, simply gives her a hug. As the two hug, however, it is clear that Amber has found her next pawn.

A frantic Gloria is on her cell phone, in hopes that Michael will answer. When he comes on the other end of the line, Gloria is in a fit of nervousness as she asks him about the skin cream case. She demands to know why she wasn't called immediately about what was going on. Michael, who is just as on edge as she is, tells her that there was not much he could do to prevent the case from being re-opened. She questions if all eyes are focused on Jack, since he's still considered the number one target. Michael tells her that regardless of how much they hate Jack, he is not the one they are waiting on. When she questions what he is talking about, Michael tells her that only two Jabot employees are in need of DNA testing: Jill and herself. Gloria refuses to believe that William will find anything that will connect her back to the tampering, but Michael silences her by telling her that she has no other choice but to return to Genoa City and face the music.

Daniel: Mom, I don't know how I'm going to get Lily to ever trust me again.
Phyllis: I'm on Nick's list of least likely to trust again, too, so I guess we're in the same boat.

Neil (chuckling): Are you telling me that your mom was actually trying to play matchmaker?
Lily: Dad, it's not funny. Why can't she stop meddling in my life?
Neil: You of all people should know that your mom is front and center in anything that concerns her children.

Brad: I hope we have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate, Victoria.

Sharon talks to Nick about Noah

Brad and Victoria are at home, alone having a candle light dinner celebrating their 1 year anniversary. Victoria comments to Brad that she is so happy and in such a good place right now. She tells Brad that everything feels so right and she can't wait until their 2nd anniversary at which time they will have a third person to celebrate with, their baby. Brad joeks with Victoria and asks her if she is just hoping for a 2nd? He tells her he hopes for many many more anniversary celebrations to come. Victoria gets up clears her throat and says they should continue this celebration elsewhere and proceeds to head up stairs with Brad following her.

Sharon is at home sitting on the couch reading some papers from work when someone is at the door. She opens the door to find Nick. He is there to pick up Noah. Sharon tells him that Noah is at a friend's but should be back shortly. She tells Nick to come in because she wants to speak with him about Noah. Sharon tells Nick that Noah can sense the troubles he is having with Phyllis and she is concerned. She tells Nick she doesn't want their son getting caught in the crossfire; he won't be able to take another broken family. She tells Nick as much as she loves seeing Phyllis knee deep in trouble, she doesn't want to see it at the expense of her son's well being.

Phyllis is at Daniel's house watching Summer sleep. She tells her that her daddy will be back soon and everything will be just fine. Phyllis though is frantic and flashes back to various confrontations with Nick. She says to herself, everything will work out, everything will work out. She says that I lie, that's what I do and that's why Nick loves me. Then she snaps out of it and says she is an idiot. Just then Daniel walks in and wonders why his mom looks so stressed and why she is at his house. She smiles and says that Summer wanted to see her big brother and she wanted to know how things were with Lily. Daniel tells his mother that he doesn't think Lily will ever trust him again and wants to know if she has any advice. She then smirks and tells him to go find trust advice elsewhere, because she is on Nick's most unlikely to trust again list. Daniel tells his mom that Nick will come around but Phyllis isn't so sure. They hug and bond over their similar situations. Just then Devon and Amber walk in and are laughing and giggling. Daniel looks at them with a jealous look on his face.

Lily and Neil are talking over coffee and Crimson Lights. Lily tells her dad that her mother is playing matchmaker already. Neil tells Lily she shouldn't be surprised it's her mother, that's what she does: meddle. Lily says Eric, the intern, is a nice guy but is no where near ready to test the waters, because Daniel and she hasn't made a decision as to where they should go. Lily gets angry and says she just wishes Mom would leave her be and let her think and be alone. Neil comforts his daughter and tells her he will talk to Drucilla and reign her in a bit, that's his job.

Gloria arrives home at Michael's all paniced. Michael and she embrace and he has a worried look on his face. Michael tells her that William will ask for her to volunteer her DNA or have a court order to get it. Gloria tells Michael that she will pack and run to Canada or some place tonight. Michael tells her that isn't an option, running is the worse thing you could do right now. Gloria tells him that she doesn't care and that she cannot be linked to the skin cream case. She just can't. Then there is a knock at the door. Michael asks who it is and its William Bardwell. He opens the door. William says hi to Gloria and informs her that he hates to do this but in order to rule her out as a suspect, she must provide DNA, or he will be forced to get a court order.

Devon's houseguest has Daniel seeing red

Sharon walks into the Newman break room to see Phyllis pouring a cup of coffee. Sharon informs Phyllis that Noah talked to her about the arguments that he’s witnessed between she and Nick, and voices concern about his being caught in the middle. Phyllis tells Sharon that all children see parents arguing from time to time. Sharon reminds Phyllis that she is his mother, and as a parent, she wants to make sure her son doesn’t have to endure hearing or seeing their bickering. As she is walking out the door, Nick comes in and sees that Phyllis is upset. He asks her if she got into another argument with Sharon. Phyllis points out that Sharon doesn’t want Noah exposed to their arguments. Nick agrees and tells Phyllis for the sake of Noah, they will work on their issues in private.

At the Baldwin home, Gloria is finding every excuse to keep from going to Jabot to do the DNA testing. Michael tells her that the walls are closing in on her and she might as well face the fact that William Bardwell and his trusty detectives will get that DNA testing; either by cooperation or by court order. Gloria seethes that Jack is the cause of all of this; and that if John were alive, he would never allow them to do this to her. Michael points out that if John were in fact still alive, she might be out on her butt once he learned of how devious she was. Grabbing her purse, Gloria realizes that Michael is right. She tells him that she will go to Jabot, take the test and hope that all fingers will point in another direction.

At the Abbott estate, Jack is on the phone with someone that wants to set up a one on one lunch meeting with him. At first, Jack is leery of the idea, however, remembering David’s advice on getting the citizens of Genoa City to see him as a candidate that cares about their views, decides to meet her at the G.C.A.C. When he hangs up the phone, he picks up the newspaper, looking at the latest developments of the skin cream case; the same case that lost him the company he loved.

Daniel is not pleased seeing the sudden closeness between Amber and Devon. As the two of them talk, Daniel cuts in, asking why Amber is there to begin with. Devon tells Daniel that Amber needed someone to talk to, and thought he’d invite her over to take her minds off her troubles. Seeing another opportunity to ‘milk’ her situation, Amber laments that now that Cane has kicked her out of the apartment, she doesn’t have enough money to stay somewhere. Before Daniel can even get a word in, Devon tells Amber that she can stay there for the night. Excusing herself, she goes upstairs to the bathroom. The minute she is gone, both guys start to argue with one another about Amber. Lily, who is coming in, happens to see the heated exchange, and is upset as to why both would be arguing over Amber of all people.

Nick stops by Victoria’s house to see how things are going for her; especially on her day off. When she opens the door, she greets her younger brother, asking what brings him over. He tells her he merely wanted to see how his sister is doing. Victoria gushes about celebrating her one year anniversary with Brad. Nick asks her if she is truly happy with Brad. She tells him that Brad is the one for her; that he truly loves her. Nick grows quiet, unsure if he should tell her the truth about who Brad really is. Sensing his distance, she asks him what is on his mind. Nick tells her that he found out that Sharon and Brad had a tryst a week after their wedding. Victoria is furious at what Nick is saying, and accuses him of lying to her. When he tells her that Sharon confirmed it, she demands that he leave her alone. Once gone, Victoria collapses on the couch in tears.

At the G.C.A.C. Jack meets up with the young lady that contacted him for their one on one. Smiling, he takes a seat across from her and tells her she can ask him whatever she wishes to regarding his plans if he is elected Senator. Taking her opportunity, she asks Jack about Jabot, and if the scandal surrounding the company would affect his chances of being Senator. Jack is hesitant to answer and immediately directs a question in her direction. He asks her what her name is. Michael receives a phone call from Lauren, and heads to the other room. Alone, Gloria walks over to a picture of John. Picking it up, she looks at it, telling him that she will be strong. Holding it close to her, she continues to talk herself into believing that she will be safe from blame. Moments later, the doorbell rings. Michael, who has ended his call, opens the door to see Det. Maggie Sullivan. Maggie informs Michael that after getting the DNA results back, they are ready to make an arrest. Michael asks who the person is that is going to be arrested. Amber feigns concern and tells Lily she'll just try to find somewhere else to stay. Wanting to talk to Lily, Daniel tells Devon and Amber to leave. Nick, sitting on the couch of his home, is looking at his cell phone; contemplating on whether to call Victoria or not. He ran his hands through his hair, angry at so many people that affected his sister's life: angry at Brad and Sharon for being so careless; angry at Phyllis for knowing for such a long time and using it to get what she wanted, and then himself for not going to her soon enough with what he knew. Flipping the phone open, he dialed her number. When she answer the phone, he tries to ask her how she is, but she immediately tells him she doesn't want to talk to him and hangs up. Sighing, he dials her number one more time. This time, it just rings and rings. Sitting the phone on the table, he closes his eyes, wondering what his sister is going to do. When Phyllis comes downstairs, Nick tells her that he told Victoria everything regarding Brad. Phyllis asks how she's holding up. Nick tells her that that is none of her concern.

At her home, Victoria sits her cell phone down on the coffee table, arms folded across her chest. While she wasn't outright angry at Nick for telling her about her husband's dirty deeds, she wasn't in any mood being analyzed by him. Just the thought of Sharon in bed with her husband mere weeks after their wedding made Victoria's stomach lurch. Looking at the clock on the wall, she knew that Bad would be arriving home soon. She was more than determined to wipe the look of happiness off is face the minute he walked in the door. She wanted answers and she's determined to get them.

At the athletic club, Devon and Amber are sitting across from each other, eating. He asks Amber why she created Strangers By Night to begin with; she tells him that it was all for fun and not anything she thought would become be 'well received'. The two continue talking, not realizing that two sets of eyes were on the two of them.

When Brad walks in the door, he notices that Victoria is sitting on the couch. Walking towards her, he prepares to kiss his wife, however, when he goes in for the kiss, she moves her head and gets up off of the couch. He immediately senses tension in the room and questions what the matter is. Victoria asks Brad if he saw Sharon today. Looking puzzled, he questions why that question would come up. Not missing a beat, Victoria tells him that she merely wants to know if he's been sniffing around his mistress. When he doesn't respond to the statement, she turns up the heat by telling him that she knows that Brad and Sharon had an affair while in New York. He immediately curses under his breath that Phyllis couldn't keep her mouth shut. Victoria asks him if it is true. Brad tells her that it is, however, it was only one night and he made a commitment for life with Victoria; the woman he loves. Victoria gives her cheating husband a slap for good measure and heads upstairs.

Back at the Romalotti home, Daniel insists to Lily that he isn't interested in Amber. Lily says she isn't so sure, making a point of telling him how his whole demeanor changes whenever she is in the room with him. He tells her that Amber is not even a factor in his life, but Lily is. Trying not to let her voice break, Lily questions if he finds Amber attractive. Growing upset, Daniel tells Lily that she can ask all the questions in the world regarding Amber, but the answer would still be the same; he's not attracted to her.

At the Genoa City Police Department, Gloria is placed in the interrogation room. Maggie begins to ask her questions about her time spent in the lab the week of the contamination. Gloria tells Maggie she is not saying one word until Michael arrives. Det. Sullivan, not one to give up on getting the goods on someone, asks how Gloria could sit back and say nothing knowing that a woman had died because of her. Not giving in to the detective's tactics, Gloria continues to stay quiet. Picking up her pen and pad, Maggie tells Gloria that she will be back shortly. The minute Maggie is gone, Gloria can feel herself falling apart, as she silently asks John to give her 'strength'.

Michael, who has been prohibited from seeing Gloria, is on the phone telling Kevin of all that has happened. Kevin, who is frantic on the other end of the phone, tells his brother that he will be there right away. As he flips the phone closed, he sees Maggie exiting the interrogation room. Michael demands to be let in to see his mother. Unfortunately, Maggie, not being in the mood, tells Michael that there is no way that Gloria will any visitors tonight. Walking away, Michael calls Lauren and tells her that he'll be home late.

At the athletic club, Dru can't believe who is together with one another. Dru immediately alerts Neil, who is talking to Gina. Dru refuses to let 'trash' be a part of her children's lives. Neil, who sees the two of them at the table, agrees that Amber is the last person that Devon needed to get involved with. Without hesitation, Dru barges up on the two of them. Glaring at Amber, she tells her that no 'gold-digging' conniving tramp is going to wrap herself around her son. Neil tells Devon to follow him for a talk. The minute Devon leaves with Neil, Dru gives Amber a heated warning. When Amber tells her she's doing nothing wrong, Dru tells her she'll be doing a lot worse if she catches her around her son again. Out in the hall, Neil gives Devon a warning about being too trusting of Amber.

Kevin rushes into the police station and spots Michael. He immediately asks him what is going on and if they can see their mother. Michael fills him in all about the DNA testing being conducted and how the wall are closing around Gloria. Kevin immediately tells Michael he has to be her lawyer, it's the only way that he can possibly get her off. Shaking his head, Michael points out that even if he represented her, he, along with Kevin, could all face harsh reality for covering up the truth. Both men go to Maggie to ask if they can see Gloria. Maggie denies their request and tell them that when they come to see her tomorrow, she should have her lawyer present. Maggie heads back into the interrogation room and informs Mrs.. Fisher that she will need to stay in jail overnight. She too reminds Gloria that when morning comes, she will need to get in contact with a lawyer.

At the Carlton's, Brad tries to get Victoria to understand that his night with Sharon was one night. Not listening to a word he is saying she throws clothing in a suitcase. Brad said that when she slept with JT, he learned to forgive her, so why can't she do the same for him. Turning on her heels, she barks that when she slept with JT, they broke off their engagement. She tells Brad that the difference between he and her is that she didn't go sniffing around another man a week after getting married. Walking down the stairs, Victoria tells Brad that since he finds his tryst with Sharon no big deal, he shouldn't care in the least that she's leaving him for a while.

The town of Genoa City is in a buzz the following morning, as news hits about the arrest of Gloria Fisher Abbott. The minute Jill steps off the elevator of Jabot; she is immediately swarmed by reporters demanding to know what Jabot plans to do in regards to Gloria. Trying her best to shoo them away, she is rescued by Ji Min, who announces to the reporters that they will discuss everything in a press conference. Once inside her office, Jill tells Ji Min that she needs to call Katherine. The more help they have in getting the sudden press conference together, the better.

Across town, Lauren is reading the Genoa City Times, completely stunned at the news she’s reading about Gloria. She doesn’t have to guess where Michael or Kevin are; they are definitely with their mother. Taking a look at the newspaper again, she debates on whether to go to the police station or to await their arrival. Either way, Lauren was about to find out what in the world Gloria could have been thinking when she decided to ruin so many lives.

Jack and David are at Newman Enterprises, discussing ways that they can avoid serious damage to the campaign, thanks to Gloria’s skin cream contamination. David feels that once the press knows how devious she is, they will paint Jack as the victim. Jack tells David to do whatever he can to get the press back on his side.

At the police station, Michael and Kevin are allowed to see Gloria. She immediately runs to them, tears filling her eyes. Randall and Victor are at the Newman ranch talking about the Jabot skin cream case. Victor feels that this is the right information they need to cripple Jack. Randall questions if this will truly break Jack’s spirits and break up his campaign? Victor points out that he knows that Jack is doing all he can to keep his name squeaky clean, therefore, they use whatever they can to discredit Jack; and the one sure fire way is by bringing up his dirty dealings where Jabot is concerned. He wants to depict Jack as being a man who would resort to the most devious tactics to get what he wants. Randall asks where they should begin. Victor pulls out a file of all things Jack Abbott.

Lauren is immediately full of questions when Gloria and her sons arrive. Gloria, in full denial mode, tells Lauren that someone had to have ‘framed’ her for the skin cream contamination. Michael tries to reassure his wife that he will do whatever he can to defend Gloria; pointing out that strong evidence is needed to make a conviction, and a DNA test alone doesn’t necessarily mean that she was the one to contaminate the cream. As they are talking, Kevin, who has turned on the television, announces that Jill and Ji Min are holding a press conference. Rushing to take a seat, Gloria is more than curious as to what the two of them will have to say concerning her arrest and Jabot.

Jill and Ji Min are answering questions from the media about the arrest of Gloria. Katherine, who is on the sidelines, is proud that the two of them are holding their own against some of the damaging questions being thrown their way. One reporter asks if Ji Min had any reservations in taking Jabot shortly after the contamination. He informs the reporters that when he took Jabot, he was well aware of what had happened, and hoped to have succeeded in getting the company’s reputation back on track. Another reporter asks Jill what Jabot plans on doing about Gloria Fisher, now that she has been exposed. Not hesitating one bit, a furious Jill looks straight into the camera as she announces that as of this moment, Gloria Fisher Abbott is no longer an employee with Jabot Cosmetics.

Closing her last suitcase, Victoria lets Brad know that she will spend the day with Abby, and she, alone, will talk to the young girl about what’s going on.

Victoria arrives back at Newman Enterprises, per request of Victor and Nikki. When she goes into their office, she sees that Nick is also there. Puzzled, she questions what is going on. Victor, closing the door behind her, informs her that it is time to put Brad on ice. For the first time in a long time, Victoria agrees and tells her father that the sooner Brad is stripped of power the better. Nick says it’s a long time coming and that he won’t shed one tear for the money grubber. Picking up the telephone, Victor calls Brad, informing him that he is needed for a very important meeting; no questions asked.

At the photo shoot, the photographer can sense that there is some sort of tension between Sharon and Jack. When he makes the suggestion that Sharon lean close towards Jack, with her hand upon his chest, Jack tries to switch positions to where he’s not looking at her. Sharon can tell that things are still not right between them, despite Jack’s persistence to doing the photo shoot. Once the shoot is complete, Sharon asks Jack why he’s acting so distant towards her. He quickly kisses her and tells her he just has a lot on his mind.

When Brad arrives to Victor’s office, he’s surprised to see the whole Newman brood there. Victor instructs Brad to close the door. Once inside, Brad takes a seat and asks what kind of emergency are they facing at Newman? Victor approaches Brad and tells him that they have some serious matters to discuss. Nikki, with arms folded, tells Brad that it’s time that he faces harsh reality: he’s no longer needed at Newman Enterprises. Brad can do nothing but stare at each of them.

JT's back in Genoa City and has some parting words for Colleen

Brad can't believe that Victor and the rest of the Newman family want him to step down from the Newman board position. Staring at Victoria, he asks her if she truly wants it to be this way between them. Before she can answer, Nick tells Brad that his free ride on the Newman train is over. Breaking up the heated exchange, Victor bellows that Brad either step down from his board seat or experience a fight he will never be able to recover from.

Unlocking the door to the loft, JT Helstrom steps inside. Dropping his bags, he heads for the telephone to check to see if there were any messages on his answering machine; there are none. As he looks around the loft, he notices a few of Colleen's things still there. Rolling his eyes, he goes to his closet and grabs an empty box. The sooner she's out of his life, the better, he thought.

Lily is brooding at home when Devon walks in. Not bothering to look up, she asks him if he is having fun with his new friend, Amber. Tossing the keys on the table, Devon sits next to her and tells her that she needs to forget about Amber and focus on getting her relationship with Daniel on track. Scoffing a little, Lily tells Devon that as long as she looks 'plain and ordinary', Daniel will never give her the much needed attention as he does his porn ladies. Devon, taking Lily's hand pulls her up on her feet and instructs her to get dressed. They have somewhere to go.

Kevin stops by Michael's to see how Gloria is holding up. Looking around, he notices that Lauren in fact held true to her word in leaving Michael. When Michael comes out of the kitchen with two cups of coffee, Kevin asks him what their game plan is. Gloria tells them both that she will not implicate them. She will never say a word as to who helped her. Michael tells her that it won't be all that easy in preventing the truth from coming out.

Shoving the phone back in his pocket, he grabs the box and keys and walks out the door.

Lily asks Devon where they are going and why she needs to be dressed up. Devon dismisses her questions and tells her to just go with him, it will most definitely put her spirits in a positive setting. Rolling her eyes, Lily pulls out her compact to check her make-up. She agrees with Devon that getting out of the house may be the one thing to help her get her mind off of Daniel. Hugging his sister, Devon tells her that she will definitely have a wonderful time.

Not being in the mood to be bullied, Brad warns Victor that he will not under any circumstances step down from the Board of Director's position. He worked hard to get it and he's not going to give it up just because of Victor's displeasure of his marital problems with Victoria. Nikki laughs at Brad, and tells him that the only thing he worked hard at was lying and conniving to get to where he was; that has always been his ammo to get what he wants. Victoria tells Brad that if he had any care for her at all, he'll take much needed advice and step down. Brad tells them they can all go to hell.

Kevin asks Michael how it can be possible for them to be put on the hot seat with Gloria. Michael tells Kevin that the minute he found out about the skin cream being tainted, instead of presenting it to someone, they all decided to cover it up. He also points out that he could lose his license if it were discovered that he represented Jack, while fully knowing that Jack were innocent of all wrong doings. Kevin fears that Gloria will become too emotional and mistakenly blurt out the truth of their involvement. Gloria swears that she would do anything to protect them; which includes lying. Michael warns Gloria that it was lying that got them into the mess they are in now.

Waving a hand at her comment, JT tells her to save the lies. She was more than happy to see him having to leave Genoa City.

When Lily and Devon step inside the building, she is in awe at how many people are there. She turns to ask him where they are. Devon explains that he was invited to attend a music producer seminar and he wanted her to attend with him. Lily is all smiles when he explains that his hopes is to learn as much as he can. She tells Devon that their parents would be so proud of him at what he wants to accomplish. The two of them take their seats, awaiting the beginning of the seminar.

Not pleased at Brad's refusal to step down and leave Newman, Victor tells Brad that every man has a price, and it would be best if Brad wised up and name his. Nikki tells Brad that he's a fool to want to stay in a family empire where he is definitely not wanted. Looking over at Victoria, Brad asks her if she wants him to leave. When she doesn't say anything, Brad realizes that he's being backed up against the wall. He then asks Victor what he's willing to pay to see him out of he company. Victor smiles, taking out a pen and paper, all too willing to show him what Brad is truly worth.

Gloria can't understand why Michael and Kevin both feel that she would let them take the heat for her crimes. Kevin tells his mother that William Bardwell is not one to just roll over and accept someone's story as 100% truth; that he will dig and dig till he finds what he needs to find. Michael informs Gloria that during the course of this trial, thing will be stressful for them all. He makes the suggestion that she find someone else to represent her. She refuses, telling Michael that he's the best lawyer for her. Michael tells her that if he's going to be brought into the center of things there is no way that he can defend her. He warns her that they all need to be prepared for when the other shoe drops.

Sliding the piece of paper over towards Brad, Victor tells him that it will be the only price that he will give to get Brad out of their lives. Looking at the figure written on the paper, Brad smirks a little, still floored at how far Victor would go to remove him from his company. Standing up, Brad tells Victor that he accepts his offer. The sooner they can finalize their 'deal' the sooner he can get on with his life and they with theirs. Walking towards he door, he takes one final look at Victoria, who glares at him. Shaking his head, he walks out the door.

Colleen tries to explain that she was worried about him; and worried that he would do something to hurt someone or himself. JT tells her that he is long over what went down, but he won't forget all that she did. She asks him if in time they can be friends again. JT shakes his head and walks back towards the door, telling her as far as he's concerned, their friendship died a long time ago when she stopped believing in him. He lets the door slam shut as he walks out.

Shortly after their meeting with Brad, all parties have left the office except for Victor. Picking up the phone, he instructs Jack to come into his office. Minutes later, Jack arrives and asks Victor what's up. Victor tells Jack that he has some vital information to share with him. Curious, Jack asks what it is. Opening his desk drawer, Victor pulls out a folder and places it on the desk. He opens it to reveal to Jack two copies of a will. A stunned Jack asks Victor where he got it. Victor tells Jack that it doesn't matter where he received it; all that matters is that he now has proof that he tricked his father into signing everything over to him, leaving Gloria in the cold. Before Jack can speak, Victor continues by stating that he is very aware that Jabot is in fact owned by him and not Ji Min. Jack, sick to his stomach, can do nothing but stand in pure silence.

Cleaning off his desk, Brad decides to make a phone call to Jill. Smiling smugly, he asks if the position at Jabot is still open. When he is told that it is, he suggests that they set up a meeting to meet to discuss the opportunity. Letting the phone hit the cradle, Brad thinks to himself that Victor may have thought he won the first round, but he, along with all of Newman, will soon learn that it is going to be a battle to the very end.

Both stand up and head in that direction.

Daniel contacts Amber and asks her if she has any ideas on ways he can put a smile on Lily's face. Amber tells him that the best thing he can do is bake her favorite dessert. He tells Amber that he will need some help in doing that. Not hesitating, Amber tells him that she will be over right away.

Coming into the house Brad calls out to Abby, to let her know that he is home. When she doesn't answer back, he assumes that she could be napping. Heading upstairs, he goes to her room. Worry sets in when she isn't there. Checking into the kitchen he finds that area empty too. He then proceeds to go outside, hoping she is outside playing. When she isn't there either, he begins to worry that something seriously bad has happened.

Victoria is pouring herself a cup of tea when she hears the doorbelling ringing. Going to the door, she sees Abby standing on the other end. Surprised to see the young girl she asks what brings her by. Hugging Victoria, she tells her step-mother that she wanted to surprise her. Laughing a little, Victoria tells her she did the job. Looking around, Victoria questions Abby if her father knows that she is there.

Nobody makes a fool out of him and gets away with it. Jack demands to know what Victor wants in an attempt to keep him quiet about Jabot. It's simple, Victor tells him; sign over NVP and he'll disregard how low he stooped to get what he wanted from John before he died.

Stepping into the coffee house, JT makes him way up to the counter. Kevin, who emerges from the back, is stunned to see JT at Crimson Lights. He quickly asks him what he's doing there. JT points out that he is looking for him. Scoffing, Kevin tells JT that they have nothing to talk about. The young private investigator tells him that one name will make him pay attention: Jana. Kevin nearly knocks over a coffee cup, and asks him if he found her. JT said that he has, however, he's not going to like the news he has to share.

Michael, not being able to stand being away from Lauren and their son, walks up to the door of the Chancellor mansion. Ringing the doorbell, he awaits as Esther opens the door to him. Smiling, Devon tells Lily that he is glad to see her laughing again. When the waitress comes to take their order, Devon suggests they head by to the house.

Kevin wants to know what JT means by his not liking the news he has. He assumes that Jana got out of sight again, but JT assures him that Jana is no longer a threat. Shaking his head, Kevin tries to tell JT that as long as Jana is alive, she will always be a threat. JT stops him from talking further. He tells him that Jana isn't a threat, considering that she's been murdered. Opening a file, JT confirms his information.

Daniel is looking over the ingredients for the recipe. Shaking his head, he looks helplessly at Amber, worried that he's gotten himself into more trouble than he realized. Laughing at him, Amber takes the cookbook from his hands and begins mixing the ingredients for the lemon cake they are going to make. Not taking too kindly to being laughed at, Daniel takes some flour and blows it in her direction, getting it in her face. Dropping the cookbook, Amber does the same thing, chasing Daniel throughout the apartment. Neither of them are aware that Devon and Lily have come home. Devon approaches the two of them and when they realize they are not alone, Daniel immediately tries to approach Lily; however, Lily, losing all the happiness she had earlier, opts to just walk out without a single word.

How much scandal does he need, Victor questions. Feeling that he's losing a battle he's never really won, Jack tells Victor that he will give NVP back to him, on the condition he has the documents that could seal his fate. Picking up the phone, Victor places a phone call to Nikki to meet him in his office right away.

Nikki comes into the office and asks her husband what was so urgent for her to come to his office. Smiling, Victor removes himself from his desk and approaches his wife. Taking her hands, he tells her that he has wonderful news for her. Curiously looking at him, she wonders what his news could be. Victor informs Nikki that the great Jack Abbott is in fact the owner of Jabot, and that in order to save his reputation, will be giving Nikki NVP back. Nikki is ecstatic. When the joy wears off, Victor reveals that only thinks he will have a successful shot as senator. Opening his drawer, Victor shows her the actual documents that he will use to officially bring him down.

JT tells Kevin that since Jana has no family, he will be the one that has to call the shots in terms of how she should be buried.
Kevin scoffs at the idea of having the responsibility to bury the woman that made his life, along with so many others, a living hell. JT tells him that someone will most likely contact him about burial arrangements. Kevin quips that as far as he's concerned, they can light a match and let her burn for all he cares.

Kevin, who has been given the responsibility of taking care of the remains of Jana, is contacting the morgue to come in to visualize the body. When he hangs up the phone, he grabs his keys in disgust. All he can think about is having the reign of Jana gone from his life forever.

Sitting in his kitchen Brad checks his watch. He wants to make sure that he gives Jill plenty of time to get to the office before he makes his phone call to set up a meeting to present some ideas about Jabot. Making his way to the door, he goes outside the check the mail; and to his dismay, he finds an envelope that is clearly marked with the address of a law firm.

Over on the other side of Genoa City, Nikki is feasting on a fruit salad, relishing over her ideas of the changes she has in store for all involved with NVP. OPENING SEGMENT

Walking the halls of Newman Enterprises, JT makes his way towards Victoria’s office. When he knocks on the door, he is surprised at how happy she is to see him. Embracing in a quick hug, she lets JT inside, closing the door. Sitting back at her desk, she asks him when he got back; to which he explains the day before. She asks if he’s seen Colleen, but he brushes it off by asking her if she would like to go out for dinner to talk some. Victoria declines, telling him that a lot has changed since he’s left, and that going out may not be the wise thing to do.

Opening the envelope, Brad reads the decree in the divorce papers. As he is flipping through the pages, he feels tightness in his stomach as he sees Victoria’s signature on the final page. Placing the papers on his coffee table, he decides that he needs to get business in order. Dialing Jill’s number, he tells her that he would like to see her as soon as he can to discus Jabot business.

At the morgue, Kevin ruefully identifies Jana. When he is asked what should be done with the body, Kevin requests to spend a moment alone with the body before making his decision. When no one is with him in the morgue, he relishes at the fact that Jana got what she deserved. He hisses that he wish it was he that did her in, and wants to ‘thank’ the person that put an end to her. When the mortician comes back in, Kevin tells him that he can cremate her as soon as he can.

Paul immediately comes to the Chancellor mansion. He quickly embraces Katherine and makes his way to a distraught Lauren. He informs her that he received the police report that she did the following night. Lauren tells Paul that he has to arrest Michael for kidnapping. Both smile at one another as they exchange apologies.

Nikki, upon arriving to Newman Enterprises, tells Victoria that she’s on her way to making some serious changes to NVP. Paul tries to dissuade her from running over there; there’s no telling how intense things could get. She asks Amanda is she can help her with something. Amanda tells Victoria she has a meeting with Nick Newman for the position of public relations. Victoria tells her that Nick is out of town, however, she will be more than happy to conduct the interview with her.

Closing the door behind her, Sharon asks Nikki if everything is okay. Nikki gives her the news of being back in charge of NVP. Sharon questions how that could be possible, since Jack was the one that owned it. Nikki sneers, telling Sharon that the great Jack Abbott had no choice but to return the company back to its rightful owner; and now that he has, there is one thing that will definitely change. Sharon questions what it could be. A delighted Nikki tells her ex daughter-in-law that effective immediately, she no longer will be representing her company as spokesperson.

At Jabot, Brad is presenting his idea to Jill. Jill looks them over and immediately questions why Brad is so determined to impress her. Looking over the information again, Jill tells him that maybe they can work on something to make his ideas work.

Jack's world publically spins out of control for all to witness

Time is ticking for Jack, as he plans for his first political debate with Randall. As he’s going over his notes, Sharon walks in the door. Looking up, he can tell that she’s still upset at Nikki’s decision to fire her from NVP. Putting his notes down, he goes over to her and suggests that she go along with him to get her mind off of what has happened. Sharon tells him that she will be there by his side, just as he has been by hers.

At the Athletic Club, Victor and Randall are discussing things regarding the debate over lunch. Holding the folder with the damaging information on Jack, Victor hands it over to him. Opening it up, Radall sees the copy of the will along with information that Jack was in fact the owner of Jabot. Closing it, Randall tells him that when Jack is least expecting the other shoe to drop, he will unleash the cold hard truth for all to hear.

Devon is getting ready to head out to meet friends when he passes by the bathroom door. Stopping in mid stride, he hears Amber singing. He’s pleasantly surprised by how good she sounds. Making his way down the stairs, he quickly scribbles a note for her to meet up with him at Crimson Lights.

Dru exits the elevator, heading for Nikki’s office. When she arrives, she is surprised to see that Phyllis is there. Nikki cuts right to the chase; they need a new NVP spokes model; and she’s the one that would be perfect for the job. Dru immediately asks what happened to Sharon. Nikki tells her that now that she owns NVP, some changes needed to be made. An excited Dru asks them if she can talk it over with Neil and get back to them. Phyllis and Nikki agree to let her take some time.

Lauren, still at Michael’s wants to know what possessed him to run off with their child. Michael tells her that he was so hurt that she left him that he wasn’t thinking rationally. He asks her why they can’t work on things. Lauren tells him that she can’t stay with a man that has lied and covered up things from her. She tells him that if he ever wants to have a chance at reconciling he has only one choice; stop defending and protecting Gloria. He tells her that he can’t just turn his back on his mother; Lauren says that if he wants to be a part of her life, as well as Fen’s, he will need to let Gloria pay for all her crimes.

Amber meets up with Devon. Handing her a caramel latte, he asks her how long she’s been singing. She tells him that she’s been singing since she was a young girl; it’s the best release she has when she wants to pour her heart out. Devon admits to hearing her sing while she was in the shower and expresses how wonderful her voice is. Blushing, Amber eats up the compliment. She eats up more of his praise when he tells her that she would be perfect for a record. Just then, Lily, who has walked in, looks at them from a distance.

At the Athletic Club, JT is hard at work on the weight machines when he notices Amanda walking in. Stepping away from the equipment, he approaches her, surprised to see her again. Amanda smiles and asks him if he has a membership there. When he tells her he does, he asks why she wants to know. Amanda tells him that she’s thinking of joining. Flirting with her, JT says maybe she should join him for dinner so he can tell her of all the things about Genoa City. Amanda happily agrees to go out with him.

When Amber leaves the coffee shop, Lily, quickly approaches Devon, sharing her dislike for his getting close to the woman that caused her marriage so much trouble. Devon tells Lily that she needs to deal with her issues with Amber on her on; he has nothing to do with them. Hurt that he’s not taking her side, Lily tells him she wishes the blonde would just leave Genoa City for good. Devon tells Lily that if she wants Amber gone, he may have the exact opportunity to make that happen. He quickly excuses himself to go make a phone call.

The debate between Randall and Jack is in full swing. People all over Genoa City are either listening at the actual debate, or have turned on their television sets to see what is to come. The debate turns ugly when Randall slams Jack for being a man that lacks integrity and family values. Jack tries to defend himself, stating that his father has always taught him the meaning of being a man of honesty and integrity; both in business and within the family. Randall asks Jack if he thought it was honest and a sign of integrity when he purposely forged a new will to oust his father’s wife out of anything that was owed her. Randal continues on to say that it must have been that same ‘integrity’ that had him plot and scheme to use another man to front his buying back the company he was tossed out from. Jack is completely numb as photographers snap images of his world falling apart around him.

    NEXT WEEK ON GENOA CITY

JACK: Face it Sharon, the only thing you're good at is offering amazing sex.
SHARON: I'm not going to stand here while you insult me.

NIKKI: Victor, despite all that you have done for me, I still need time to think things out regarding us.

DRU: Oh, I know I didn't just hear you say you're taking a trip to Los Angeles with that hootch Amber?
DEVON: This is business, Dru, nothing more.
DRU: Whatever it is, I'll be damned if I let my son get wrapped around that girl's finger.

He tells them that the best option is to hire a new lawyer; Christine Blaire. Kevin tells Gloria that it might work out if they did that; Gloria, however, refuses to let Michael step down as her lawyer.

When Nikki and Victor arrive, she hugs her son, and comments to Phyllis that she should have notified her on the guest list; considering the fact that she could have helped make the suggestion of un-inviting one person from that list. Nick tells his mother to cool it; Sharon is Noah's mother, and she has every right to be there with her son if she wants to.

As Daniel is heading for the stairs, he lingers a stare in Lily's direction, obviously attracted to the way she's looking. Cane quiets her with a tender embrace and tells her that at this moment, she's shown him as much love as she could possibly show. Jill, who is still listening, is upset at hearing his loving words for the woman that gave him away. Not wanting to create a fight, she decides to go upstairs.

Noah immediately runs to his mother, giving her a hug and asks why she's late. She tells her son that she had to go home after work to get changed. Nikki, fake with sincerity, tells Sharon that it's nice to see her. Sharon bypasses her and says hello to Daniel and Lily. Phyllis, quickly trying to defuse any possible friction, tells everyone dinner is ready. As they all sit at the table, Daniel whispers to Lily that he's getting turned on by the outfit she is wearing. Lily reminds him that they are at his mother's home; Daniel tells her that maybe they should eat and split early. Across the table, Victoria glares at Sharon, still ticked at how her sister-in-law set out to pursue her husband. Nikki makes an off handed comment about Sharon, to which Nick hears. He tells Noah and Abby that they can take their dinner up to Noah's room. When the children are out of sight, Victor tells everyone to get their acts together and focus on having a good time together.

Throughout dinner, Daniel keeps his eyes on Lily. When they are finished eating, he quickly tells his mother and the rest of those in attendance that Lily and he must be heading home. Phyllis asks why such the hurry; Nick, however, simply smirks, knowing exactly why Daniel is opted to head home. Once they are gone, silence immediately fills the room Nikki, knowing that it's a sore subject for Sharon, brings up to Phyllis about the photo shoot for Dru. Phyllis, unknowingly begins to tell Nikki about the possible ideas for the shoot. Victoria, knowing of Sharon's firing, purposely makes a comment to Phyllis, telling her that she made a wise choice in selecting Dru for the position. Sharon, who is talking to Nick at the time of the discussion, glares at Phyllis. She accuses Phyllis of merely hiring Dru to cause friction within their friendship. Phyllis, not being able to contain herself, tells Sharon that she chose Dru because she has talent; and that she would be a more positive representation to NVP. Slamming her napkin down, Sharon grabs her coat and walks out.

Upstairs at Daniel and Lily's, Daniel is whispering in Lily's ear about how hot she's been looking. Smiling at him, she tells him she has another surprise for him.
