  1. Blessedly unrelated:
  2. Now deleted from the NYT story but still relevant:
  3. I also lived in NYC ten years. They will.
  4. Can't wait for Maggie Haberman to explain that demanding people not murder Democratic politicians will only make Trump stronger with his base.
  5. Michael Bolton! I'm tired, y'all.
  6. Fate is cruel to me - a 1991 Dark Shadows alum, Ely Pouget (who played the Bohemian spiritualist revamp of Maggie Evans, a character change and actor I really liked), is doing GH as (sigh) Liz Hendrickson's mom. Why God?
  7. Also, from the man who put Maggie Haberman once again on the prickly defensive this morning:
  8. A thread to add to marceline's stuff:
  9. He also became infamous for tearing up and crying on-air after Trump's first State of the Union(?) last year and saying "this is the moment Trump became president!" That's what lost me completely. It's sad because he used to do good work.
  10. My understanding of the 'purple wave' reports (especially the NBC one) is that they are skewed to traditionally Republican-leaning areas and/or older voters - not an accurate reflection of the full picture, which still leans heavily blue. It's just another way for media to pump up the beloved 'horse race' narrative while eliding the facts. But we shouldn't get complacent.
  11. Van Jones is officially a joke.
  12. If they don't use the old Sci-Fi Channel bumpers it doesn't count!!
  13. I have always wanted to see her on a soap again. But I know she's got much bigger things to do.
  14. From a recent USA Today piece:
  15. Barbara Crampton is extremely busy in horror films these days, to her credit. I wouldn't blame her for not being interested, though she still speaks very fondly of the soaps. (She is also featured on the latest series of SyFy's excellent horror anthology Channel Zero.)
  16. I like prematurely aged Broderick for Jackie and I won't hear a word against it! I wonder if he replaced the previously-announced Steve Zahn.
