  1. I like Booker, but boy do people hate him.
  2. She's also (AFAIK) still on the outs with former BFF Jennie Garth and Tori, sadly. Shannen, who has mended all those relationships in recent years, is much more likely. To be clear I am all for a revival properly honoring the original cast. I think the 2008 show was trash and should be nuked from continuity - it did waste good new talents as well, as we've all discussed before. But I still think any revival will require a new teen cast, just like the '08 show, but much more well-executed.
  3. I don't see how you could do 90210 without a new youth cast (backstopped by the originals) or MP without the complex. Neither makes sense to me.
  4. Oh: And someday, someone has to bring back Valerie. I've said it before, but Tiffani-Amber Thiessen shocked the hell out of me as a Saved by the Bell kid and changed her career forever with that debut season. That's a perfect example of creating the anti-Brenda and doing something new - something they cleverly camouflaged in advance press until the end of the Season 5 premiere.
  5. I don't remember Donna being crazy. I remember her and David's marriage being estranged or just strained in Season 1 in her brief appearance, but that was it.
  6. Shannen and Tori were both in Season 1 of the CW show.
  7. I've barely ever watched The Doctors. Just a handful of '60s episodes.
  8. Nuke the previous revival and do it. Pretend CW 90210 never happened. MP's revival was better (if still deeply flawed) but will prob never happen again, especially with Heather Locklear's RL situation.
  9. TESLER: This idea of white grievance and white identity, that whites are the ones who have it worst in society, was a really powerful resource for Trump to tap into in a way that other politicians haven't. KHALID: Tesler studies voters over time and has noticed that their attitudes on immigration, race and Muslims are essentially predictors for how they'll vote. But here in Ohio, sometimes those feelings are mixed in with a nostalgia for when this area was prosperous. That's how it is for Connie Kessler, the 78-year-old former hairdresser who volunteers every day at the local GOP headquarters. CONNIE KESSLER: You go to Youngstown, you have boarded-up houses, sidewalks that haven't been changed since I was going to school. It's ridiculous. KHALID: We talked for almost an hour about the economy, immigration, her frustration that people don't want to play the song "Baby, It's Cold Outside" anymore. And eventually, our conversation took a personal turn. KESSLER: You're probably a Muslim. I don't care for them. I'm sorry. KHALID: I am a Muslim from the Midwest. I've interviewed Kessler twice before, so maybe she felt she could be more open with me. I asked her why she doesn't care for Muslims. KESSLER: Because they want to take over America. Why can't they just come here and live like us? I want you to be an American, do what we do. We were here first. OK? You're second.
  10. They aren't pushing that. He has no way of getting the wall. But he was infuriated by Coulter, Fox, etc. criticism of his failure and is trying to throw a tantrum. He doesn't know what else to do. And every media outlet except Fox is calling this an embarrassing disaster for him and the GOP.
  11. ????????
  12. CBS should be burned to the ground.
