  1. Acosta on CNN now. Acosta: "What we're being told is being driven in part by what the president wants the people to hear. [...] Obviously what we heard yesterday was a full scale debacle." Conley: "Since we last spoke, the president has continued to improve. As with any illness, there are ups and downs. [...] The president has experienced transient drops in his oxygen saturation. [...] Late Friday morning, the president had a high fever. [...] I recommended the president try some supplemental oxygen. He was fairly adamant he didn't need it, but after about a minute over 2 liters his saturation levels were about 94%." Then yada yada he went to Walter Reed.
  2. The Intercept's boy hero returns:
  3. He seemed tired to me.
  4. No, Meadows directly contradicted the doctor and said there is no clear path to recovery atm and that the next 48 hours are critical.
  5. It doesn't read like him at all to me. And honestly, no, all the other news does not sound good at all. I don't know what you're reading but speedy recovery and coronation is not the picture I get from the above information. Unless you assume Meadows is lying off the record.
  6. Holy shít.
  7. This one is not him, IMO. Not enough illogical superlatives and weird mental ellipses. He's also never called it a plague.
  8. Looking for a golden parachute with the press when this all ends badly. I do not endorse this POV, but it is still good intel.
  9. My God. Meadows was the source?!
  10. No, they're not. The debate commission is simply desperate to keep holding in-person debates. It's stupid - they should do a remote and I suspect they still might.
  11. Zoom it, losers.
  12. The 72 hours thing is blowing up on every network.
  13. Yeah. They knew before they told us and he was still out and about after testing positive.
  14. They have asked him if he's been oxygen ten times and he repeats "he's not on it now". He's denying he had difficulty breathing - that's not true. They're not saying whether he'll be there 5 days, or longer. "He's 74, he's overweight, but other than that he's completely healthy." aaaaand he rushes away. Tell me again about his imminent triumphant return? Every media platform openly saying this was unsatisfactory and full of non-answers and evasion.
  15. Conley, visibly nervous, claims the president's symptoms are "resolving and improving" but immediately throws to another doctor in the raft of docs. Dooley quotes Trump as saying "I feel like I could walk out of here today". Throws to another doc who says he is going to be encouraged to "eat, drink, walk around" and get well. Dooley returns and says Trump has been "fever-free for another 24 hours". This can't be true; he had it yesterday AM. Reporter: He has not received any supplemental oxygen at all? Dooley: He's not received any this morning. They were asked the above twice, and twice they dodged and caveated with "this morning"
  16. I think his time to shine may yet come!
  17. So it's not a clever hoax now? 20+ mins ago.
