She was having a lot of work done in past years so I assume it's another sad Joan Van Ark situation.

As expected, this is ancillary material:- Eric Braeden drags Eva Longoria for her comments about working in daytime
Lord, not "Victor Newman" trending at 6 AM again but for the wrong reasons.- Eric Braeden drags Eva Longoria for her comments about working in daytime

I have no issue with Peter or Kristian together. I just think most of their stories in the last 30 years have sucked, lol. That's not their fault. Re-pairing Bo and Billie definitely wouldn't work now, though.- Days: March 2023 Discussion Thread
I think with Kristian back there was no way they could've allowed Bo/Billie to continue despite their popularity, unless Kristian had majorly taken off with someone else. (Which has never happened, despite many attempts including many with Drake, some by JER himself) I adored Bo and Billie as a kid and was heartbroken by their break-up, but I knew it was probably inevitable bc I'd been made familiar with the legend of Bo and Hope.- Days: March 2023 Discussion Thread
I've heard different things about RKK and Genie from different people to be fair, but I did hear there were issues at every show up til he was fired in '01 when the biotoxin story got killed by 9/11.- Y&R 50th party for cast, crew, alumni
It's because Katie, like most B&B characters, is ultimately just an interchangeable chess piece. Victoria as originally conceived as a young woman was another story.- Days: March 2023 Discussion Thread
As others have said, it was more serious than that. Almost every single leading lady he's ever worked with hated him, including allegedly Genie Francis at GH, and he allegedly had an issue with being too friendly, to use a euphemism. That would not fly today. JFP was the reason he got hired at GH and re-hired at AW, IIRC, after the scandal; she was probably the only one who would touch him. RKK was the first Bo I ever saw and I always thought he was scorching hot and an excellent actor. I did not welcome the un-recast as a kid. But knowing what I learned later I understand the situation, and he should not be active on daytime today.- Doctor Who
Oh, I'd forgotten all about this. What fun. Meanwhile: Also, Deadline claims to have confirmed the UNIT rumor with sources at the BBC. But RTD has shot down talk of a new children-themed spinoff for now, sadly. Per an interview with SFX Magazine: I do think it will happen eventually, hopefully with Katy Manning as persistently rumored.- Days: March 2023 Discussion Thread
Post-#MeToo I doubt anyone goes near RKK for a major role ever again. I can stomach guest appearances from time to time but it was sketchy even bringing him back on GH in the early 2010s.- Y&R 50th party for cast, crew, alumni
I'm surprised Shemar wouldn't show, but neither did Tonya Lee Williams it seems.- Y&R 50th party for cast, crew, alumni

A great many hair and fashion choices are being made at this party. I do respect Tricia Cast showing up in a Van Halen bomber jacket.- RIP: In Memoriam Thread
Unbelievable. Lance Reddick was a towering talent, not just on The Wire where he was exceptional but in so, so many things.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread

Photoshop City! I'm pretty sure the images of Mo and NLG are years old. That is wild that Becky is in the middle. I wonder who let that slip through without Howarth or Easton featured on her arm.- GH: Classic Thread
According to Franco, she wasn't. But Ron Carlivati also wanted to undo his own retcons in 2014 and have Franco reveal he'd had Michael raped after all (and still keep him on the show as a romantic lead!), so I don't think we can generally trust a serial killer. I thought GH securing what was then a major movie star for a suspense arc was a coup. It was the execution I found poor. On paper, Franco was an interesting idea for a short-term villain; what they did with it got very dumb very fast. It wasn't helped by Guza clearly salivating over another opportunity to prove he's not the soap opera guy by eagerly rolling out every show star to share scenes with Franco - awkwardly forcing scenes with Tony Geary, etc. that just felt so tryhard. It just felt embarrassing, like a small town sheriff trying to impress the FBI.- Star Trek: Picard
More on today's ep. Unsurprisingly, Matalas makes it clear in what he doesn't say to the final question that it was no mean feat getting the actor back.- GH: Classic Thread
