  1. I enjoy these looks into the past immensely. I appreciate all of the work put into posting, and will try to be more active in the conversation!
  2. Wow, oh wow! Fantastic! Thank you for sharing!!
  3. If anyone is interested, Gloria Monty’s family photo album and various documents are up for auction on Ebay, https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F383483477675.
  4. I just came here to post about this! Amazing! I got goosebumps. I never thought we’d ever see any footage from this time, let alone in color!!
  5. Although not an exact date, the cast changes section of the January ‘76 issue of DaytimeTV states that Stacey Baldwin had joined as Lesley’s long-lost daughter, Laura. In the same issue, it states that the February issue would be on newsstands on December 23. That would be December of ‘75, so I would guess the January issue went on sale in November of ‘75.
  6. I floved SB as Carly. LW's Carly is a shrieking , meddling mess. However, LW is more tolerable when she is paired with Jax.
  7. Welcome! Eveytime something is posted on that channel, I cross my fingers it will be soap related.
  8. A ‘70’s era NBC Love in the Afternoon commercial is @ :12.
  9. You very well could be right in remembering that Lucille appeared in 1981 for Audrey’s Birthday. That photo looks to be from an appearance that is different from the one I posted the video of. I just wanted to share that she made one final appearance in 1982.
  10. Lucille Wall appears in May 1982, @ around 5:18.
  11. Robin’s three godfathers were Frisco, Sean and Buzz. As for Sandy Stryker, she left GH and nursing in March of 1987 to become a veterinarian. And in June of ‘87, Buzz requested a month’s leave of absence to go help an old buddy start a clinic for Veterans, but he never returned.
  12. YES!! Thank you! It was driving me nuts!
  13. Does anyone recognize the child actor in the following episode? It’s driving me nuts! The scene starts @ 25:42 with David Wallace (Tom Hardy) and continues later in scenes with Wallace and Laura Carrington (Simone).
  14. Ugh, the third of four actresses to play Dawn Winthrop was so miscast. Poor Lisa Fuller. I had such a (non-sexual) crush on Dawn #4, Jennifer Guthrie!
  15. 6th in line was Zelda Berstein, the Quartermaine family lawyer, played by Sarah Simmons.
  16. Thanks for posting!
  17. Not sure exactly what happened, but the YouTube channel that was posting the episodes from ‘85, ClassicGH, has been terminated. A shame really as I was enjoying the episodes. I noticed a while back that another channel I was subscribed to, called bogied2, was taken down due to copyright infringement. I wonder if ABC is cracking down on people posting the classic GH stuff.
  18. A fun little behind-the-scenes video from ‘89. https://youtu.be/pW8fgtsf9xA
  19. Jessie’s passing wasn’t acknowledge on screen until 1993, when Angie Costello came to GH and asked Dr. Hardy about Jessie. He confirmed she had passed away. A moment of silence was observed in 1991: https://youtu.be/I5Z2XzWovJM The “So long, Jessie” gives me a lump in my throat whenever I watch it.
  20. Oh my goodness, no need to apologize. I am quite impressed with your contributions to the board. I’ve only learned the early history of the show from years of research, and to have you as a first-hand source of information is invaluable. I meant no disrespect. As for Jane and Howie, I believe they broke up after the loss of their young daughter Joanne. And you are exactly right that Jane did turn to Henry (as awkward as he was) and they went to work over at Mercy.
  21. The poem Emily wrote is lovely, if not haunted. And I may be wrong, but I think you may be confusing Sharon and Jane Dawson. Sharon was married to awkward Dr. Pinkham, Jane was married to slug Howie.
  22. Source: DaytimeTV, April 1987
  23. Who's Who on General Hospital, TV Star Parade, June 1965:
  24. Confirmed! Daytime TV, March 1972 has an article about the wedding of Lucille March to Al Weeks. Accompanying the article is the infamous 1971 cast portrait with Joan Blackman in it. The caption all but confirms what character Miss Blackman portrayed in 1971.
