It isn't a rule. Per the requirements (which were modified a time ago): actors who "are playing characters they either played before, or are newly cast" are able to submit in the category.
Maybe Shemar will win for his 5 second speech in front of Neil's portrait then...

That's better than Josh Griffith.

Let's be real, that's probably why she's gone. Any hint of going "there" is always out of the question for Bradley...
That makes a lot of sense actually. Play it up for hype and then fire the actress. I can see him doing that.

P.S don't bash other actors like KKL please. Calling that woman a pet and hating her because of this, something I am sure she has nothing to do with, is disgusting.
And besides, Krista's best chemistry was with KKL!

I don't suppose there's a red carpet feed?

Everyone has been making fun of the reference to a keyhole since it aired months ago. But it's actually a special place in Rome.
It was mentioned in the Italian press that they'd be filming at a few locations even before the cast arrived, so I ran the articles through GoogleTranslate, learned about they places they'd be filming, and took the time to google the places.
Here is the info about the landmark where they filmed, it's part of a 14th Century priory. Maybe it means nothing to the U.S. audience, but it was significant to the Italian audience.
It is a famous landmark called the "Keyhole of the Knights of Malta".

Don’t watch current BnB but seems like a bone-headed move to let Krista Allen go like this

I guess I'll be the lone person who thought it wasn't working lol. She played like Steffy and Thomas' sorority sister, not mother.

@janea4old Agree with pretty much everything you said. The kids can't build personalities if they are never on. It's beyond parody. The only Y&R kid who kind of has a personality that's not generic is Connor who seems to have picked up anxiety from both parents. He's the only one I could see being interesting when he grows up. Lucy and Faith are basically the same as Summer and Abby and I'm sure Katie will be exactly the same when they SORAS her. It's sad.

IMO a lot of this has to do with actors looking and acting much younger than in the past (including the way they dress, speak, and are styled). Michael Graziadei is old enough to be Lucy's father, given she was born on screen and only lightly SORASed, but he looks young, and an artist like him would be more likely to be starting his family at his age rather than raising teenagers (as Graziadei himself has young twins). I'd rather see him as a younger leading man than disciplining a wayward teen. Don't get me started on Christel Khalil being given college age twins who looked the same age as her. Her onscreen kids must be in her 20s now which means she'd be potentially playing a grandma the way soaps marry off characters so young.
I'm all for de SORAS whenever possible. Like Heather.

How and why did Sharon end up with Cameron's company? Is she now running it?
She got a box in the mail that said so. No money to hire anyone to play the lawyer.
She made several visits to the west coast office which she'd discuss with nick at the coffee house lol

FROM THE VAULT: WEEKLY DAYTIME NIELSEN RATINGS: WEEKS OF 5/11/92-5/15/92 & 5/18/92-5/22/92:
The ratings posts are now on a holiday pause and will return in January with the rest of 1992 and 1993. Happy holidays to all!!
Looks like we won't quite finish off 2023 perfectly:
5/18/92-5/22/92:
GL you have 5.3 and SOW has 5.2. I assume it's SOW's typo as they have a star marking it "tied with above" (B&B at 5.3)Happy holidays and thank you so much for all this!

My thing with Tara is they are clearly not planning on showing Harrison anymore. He's always in the other room, with Mrs. Martinez, etc. I laughed so hard the other day when Diane walked in and told Jack "you should have seen how many pancakes your son ate!" referring to Kyle. He's not 5 years old! I was thinking that line would have been used on Harrison.
So why not just say that Tara is out of jail and he moved to New York to be with her? That would make the most sense. There was never any adoption by Summer nor is Tara a danger to her child. She deserves to have partial custody at least. In general, they never explored how devastating it would be to a child to lose both parents he has ever known (Tara and Ashland) so it makes me cringe when they say he can't bear to lose his mother, Summer, cause clearly the kid is resilient.
Same story with Nick and Victoria's kids, they have zero interest in ever showing them. Fine, so say they are in boarding school, don't pretend that Victoria is such a great mother "stopping for a coffee on the way back from Katie's recital."
In the 80s Jill had Phillip around when she was at the Fosters (to be introduced to her various boyfriends) then shipped him off once she married John Abbott. Then they'd show Phillip once a year when Jill would call him at boarding school and ask him home for Christmas. He'd say he'd rather spend it with a friend, and Jill would be crushed. By the time they were ready to bring on Thom Bierdz, the drama was rife. Imagine how silly it would have been if they'd just been pretending Phillip was in the kitchen drawing with Mamie or out by the pool all those years.

Sheila is a villain. Villains should never control story on any soap. They can do shortterm arcs and that's it. Nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
Also I have loathed every story arc Sheila ever had, even the short ones.
I hated everything with Lauren also.I won't watch any episode she's in. Nothing to do with the actress.
The character is disgusting to me.I just loathe the character.
Not love to hate.
Just loathe.I think that's fine not to like the character. Some comments about KB (not referring specifically to this thread but past ones) are pretty gross as they bash her sex appeal and basically her looks and age. Which is crazy to me because I think she looks fantastic.

Kimberlin has always been great. Sheila’s the only reason I watch B&B. I just want her going up against worthy enemies, not small potatoes like Steffy or Finn. They need to lean into Sheila’s actual history and not this retcon stuff.
This this this. Hated that she was made Finn's mother just so they could make her story be all about Steffy. Love Sheila and Deacon though.

Wow, are amazing, danke schon!
Maybe if somebody has the list of 10 without music, we could get those in German?
Regarding vault edit access, I used to have it, but lost it in this new migration and AFAIK nobody else does right now except the owner. The Y&R/GL Vault is actually full now so it would be good to have again but hasn't worked out so far. They have changed something about the login which makes it more difficult to coordinate access.
