  1. It was funny how Jordan was taunting Nikki about how stupid she was to actually follow through with her plan.
  2. Merry Christmas, GL fans! Saw this lovely Christmas retrospective on the Italian youtube page:
  3. Thank you to @ChickenNuggetz92 and all angels and uploaders! 😇🎅🥳
  4. I feel like Brooke has to sleep with Liam at some point to complete the circle. Thomas too. It was so funny when she slept with Oliver but Bradley didn't want to make her slutty again so he made it into a preposterous mistake, and then when Ridge found out he pretty much grunted "oh, Logan!!!" like it was a sitcom... which it was... and this is why Ridge has to be played by Ronn Moss!
  5. I thought that was all bad at the time too, but I guess I am over it. Yes, it was disgusting and shocking. I started watching when she was pregnant with Bridget and I found it so gross, that she didn't know if her husband was the baby's father or grandfather. I was never a fan of Brooke. I could not even understand why anyone would fight over Ridge, but if they were, I felt that Taylor "deserved him" because she was a good and moral person, and Brooke was disgusting. I could even overlook her sleeping with James in the cabin. Taylor was classy and intelligent. I remember Brooke parading around in lingerie, putting a bed in her office, sneaking up on Ridge in the sauna, throwing her underwear in his face... and he was a married man with children. I thought it was despicable. I was appalled when she then went after Thorne. IIRC young Bridget walked in on them and puked into a plant. I understood Stephanie's rage and rooted for her even though she's no saint herself. And then she slept with Bridget's husband! She just couldn't help herself. No accountability. I can't say I ever thought she was abusing the men though, seems to me they all slept with her willingly (although Eric and Ridge have both taken advantage of Brooke while she was impaired by alcohol and couldn't consent). At this point though.. everyone else has done the same thing (bad writing - keep playing the same story over and over with different characters, so now it's nothing special). Taylor has been involved with Ridge, his father, both his brothers, Brooke's son (also her daughter's boyfriend), father, AND brother. Yeah it was bad when Brooke slept with Thorne, but Taylor also slept with Thorne after killing his wife while drunk driving and lying about it while planning to marry him. That's a whole other level of despicable. And we are supposed to buy Taylor not only as reading the Bible, but being a missionary! And she and Steffy sit there judging the Logan sisters as if they haven't done all the same things. At this point the Logans seem quite normal and functional and not worse than anybody else.
  6. Brooke used to be outrageously slutty for sleeping her way through the family but now that they've done that with every character (Taylor, Steffy, Donna, Katie, Eric, Bill, Ridge, Thorne, etc have all done it) she really doesn't seem that bad anymore. At least she hasn't killed anyone and is generally a pleasant person. She isn't sanctimonious either (just briefly with Amber and that was twenty years ago). She ended up being one of the more moral characters on the show TBH. Not what I would have thought during the 90s!
  7. Clarence always has the 411 on the CBS soaps 😂 That looks like the same room from when Ashland saved Victoria's life in the car accident that killed Rey.
  8. I think the reminder if supposed to be that he was responsible for the accident that led to Ashley losing her child. Would love to see a really old classic ep! Yeah, Lauren took Raul as her gala date IIRC, hah.
  9. That's not a bad choice, but doesn't seem to have any relevance to the current story (unless they are bringing Colleen or Robert back to life lol). They showed October 10 during the 2020 classics, when Kevin destroyed Gina's, and I thought it was a shame they didn't show the fire episode, so hoping someone will upload that in HD. https://www.soapcentral.com/young-and-restless/recaps/2003/031013.php Also in this episode are Sharon hosting a gala at the ranch, Victoria flirting with Michael, Lauren flirting with Raul, Neil and Lily having dinner, Nikki and Bobby Marsino reminiscing about the Bayou. A good episode.
  10. Any word on a classic episode for Monday? At this point, I'm assuming no...?
  11. This is a very good retrospective on it, but it contains major spoilers, so don't watch if you intend to actually watch the episodes in full. You basically want to start watching when Frank Beaty debuts as Brent to get the full backstory. According to this page https://ultimatesoapfan.fandom.com/wiki/Frank_Beaty his airdates are (02/14/1995-02/16/1996) This one is more like a music video, also with spoilers but no text.
  12. They actually showed the concert?! I haven't seen today's show. I assumed they would just show them at Crimson Lights all "the concert was great!"
  13. That's funny. Usually the Big Brother people only have 1 or 2 lines (cheesy ones relating to the show) so it must have been a lot of extra work if she memorized Bridget's lines!
  14. Thanks, I was actually debating whether she belonged on that list. I also think Christian might have some arrangement where he is claimed to be on contract but basically is hardly on like he's recurring.
  15. Well, on Y&R it happened to Emmy winners like Doug Davidson, Kristoff St. John, Tracey Bregman, and Christian Le Blanc, who were integral parts of the show for decades.
  16. Thom was Phillip III, the father of Chance (Phillip IV), husband of Nina and suitor of Cricket.
  17. Phillip "Chance" Chancellor (Nina's son and Jill's grandson) and Summer (Nick and Phyllis' daughter)
  18. Just think, in 25 years that miscarriage will come back to life...
  19. Years ago someone here posted the papers from Ronn Moss and Shari Shattuck's divorce. There was a massive cut in the guarantee rate offered. That's why Moss and Flannery left. I assume the other stars took the cut.
  20. Yeah, out of the corner of my eye I see the white jacket that Francesca James was wearing so I'm thinking she's the "Mrs. James" being called out, but what a coincidence! (will update my post).
  21. How did the Y&R primetime special do compared to this? I know it's not a perfect comparison considering this is Friday night in the middle of a busy holiday season.
  22. I also thought they had broken up, but at about 45 seconds in that video someone from the press says "Hello Mrs. James, congratulations" while Brytni is standing there. But I think it's possible Francesca James may be standing offscreen which might explain it.
  23. Are Brytni and Bryton married? I hear people calling out Mrs. James and congratulating them. It's quite possible I'm way behind on known news as I don't really follow the actors on social media.... (Edit: Not confirmed. I think it's possible Francesca James was standing to the side offscreen and might be the "Mrs. James" being congratulated, what a coincidence that would be, especially given how Bryton joins Brytni at the end)
