For as bad as things might have gotten for Days and even GH, I think they deserve more of a shot, then the Bell Soaps do....But as someone said, B&B is never gonna be booted off network TV because of Thudley and his protective international shield. I just can't believe after 70 plus year only two major Networks will be even airing soaps...

I definitely feel he’s a Cole recast… his acting seems to flat and emotionless…I guess that’s perfect for this version of Y&R though.

Glad you uncovered more of these treasures! ugh.... the frustrating thing is that I think I can figure out the exact date of the March 1985 one, because the full episode I believe is saved in the Chicago Museum of Broadcast Communications, with airdate and episode number given, but for some reason the Y&R list is no longer there...could someone help with this, unless I have the wrong website? Katherine is really twisted in these summaries…it does kind of make me mad that even when Jill’s vixen and bitchy qualities really start to come out, she’s always painted the villain over Katherine…though I guess if you weren’t around in the 70s you were made to believe that Katherine was always the “victim” to the “evil” Jill. I can’t picture Leslie in jeans…

I’ve actually messaged with Tom before. We follow each other on Twitter and messaged on there, but he’s very secretive and protective for whatever reason about sharing his episodes. I did tell him about the vault as well but never got a direct answer from him. I know he has mostly every single Y&R episode from at least 1988 as well.

People say when Victor came on and wore his cowboy outfits it was in the height of JR Ewing, but also in 1980 on “One life to Live” that was when the Buchanan boys entered with their cowboy suits. I realized a Victor and Asa Buchanan kind of both came on with the same tyranical personality.

Bryton James seems to be currently following Victoria Rs example because he never calls “Mr and Mrs. Newman” by their first names unlike Lily and his other family members do. He’s also a billionaire though himself so it’s kind of jarring.

Also all the winters/Barbers family members called her “Mrs.Sterling” when they first came on. I don’t think Dru ever called her Katherine even into 2007, unlike Neil and Maybe Olivia. Nina would start referring to her as Katherine while still calling Jill “Mrs.Abbott” which was kind of funny.

Then it seemed like Suzanne from the audio clips of her floating around called her simply Katherine too in that snooty southern draw of hers lol

It’s also interesting to note that I think Jill always called her “Mrs. Chancellor” for at least the first several years even after they began their rivalry. I think Deborah’s Jill is the one who started calling her “Kay” and then when Brenda returned it seemed like she would alternate between “Kay”, and “Katherine” I think she may have even still referred to her as Mrs.Chancellor at least behind her back.

Honestly I feel like it was just a strange OOC moment for Molly. We had no indication that Molly had decided to accept Sheila as having "changed" after she basically kicked her out of GC in March 1993, but I just feel like they were trying to show how evil Sheila really was...It was also OOC for Sheila to threaten Little Eric before her wedding too, because she was his nanny just a year prior and seemed to show nothing but affection for him. We do have this clip which aired on Y&R from 10/11/93 where Sheila calls Molly because her marriage is falling apart, but Molly has no desire to help Sheila...but she does mention how cruel Sheila was the last they spoke...I guess they regretted that OCC confrontation. But yeah in 1994, It looks like offscreen while KB was on her maternity leave, Sheila and Molly had "reconciled". There will be an episode coming up where we see Molly and Sheila actually having a nice conversation before she heads back to Eric.

He's not wrong...haha. Though Ashley's "hypocrisy" towards Diane is definitely not on the same level as Nikki and Phyllis.
