Every "new" Character that Bill Bell brought on, always seems to say the same thing, they weren't suppose to be on that long. KSJ was suppose to be only a few days, Kimberlin B. Said, Sheila was originally only suppose to be around for a month, and Scott Reeves revealed recently, Ryan was only suppose to be on for 3 Days...

Yeah, I had to think about that, but it definitely was Susan Lucci/Erica Kane. Haha the Y&R actors definitely like to take credit for having the "first" something. First Janice L. with saying Brad and Leslie were the "first ever Super Couple" on a soap, and now Eileen saying Ashley had the "First" abortion

I just tuned in...I like the rare glimpses of behind the scenes stuff they are showing. Gotta watch more to fully make up my mind on it. That's a shame 😕 I mean they showed her during the Covid repeats, so she shouldn't be excluded.

In Spring/Summer 1992 I know Traci’s novel she was working on was called “Impasse” which was loosely based on her falling relationship with Brad.

We never see Staffords Phyllis especially get slapped by anyone, not since 2012 with Nina at least.

That was a fun interview and fun group of people they gathered for this! CLB definitely dominated most of the interview though, which isn't a surprise. MCE seemed a little out of place when JT left, but I'm glad she's fascinated with the show's history and stories that were shared.

Haha, I feel like it's only fitting since in a way Nikki is kind of the new "grand dame" I think Jill deserves the tittle more, but with Jess Walton's schedule and not being on much that won't ever happen unfortunately. Overall I guess the intro isn't that bad the more I see it. (Did they finally update Stafford in the dress, with Braeden and MTS now?) Like I said the intros have kind of been uninspired since 2003.

That was often fairly a problem with the 88-99 opening too. We still had Phillips face into early 1990 when he died in May 89, and Cassandra spinning around lasted an additional 6 months until the updated fall 1991 intro. Then We still had Rex In the opening well into 95 until they updated that one.

They do seem to announce it more then once when a recast comes in. I think they did that for Brenda Dickson upon her 1983 return based on the vault clips.

Haha that was awesome!! 😂 I feel silly because I was thinking Mamie and Billy’s relationship goes back to when he was a teenager, but then i remembered she practically raised him when he was a baby, especially when his parents were going through their divorce drama.she even was hoping her, John and Billy would become a little family once Jill was out of the picture.

Is this a definite new opening or they using this just for the 50th? they haven’t really tried to make their intros appealing since 2003 or so, so I expected nothing less then the cheapness of this one.
