Ridge is an emotionally stunted baby for punching Connor. That was a sucker punch and Connor should have pressed charges. Taylor should have concerns about having a baby with someone who has such a hair-trigger temper.
Ridge is as violent as his mother is, and I feel that always gets glossed over.

The 2004 one is when Phyllis dressed as a man to infilitrate Dominick Hughes' jail cell.
This is the recap from the 2005 one. I didn't even remember the story, just the outfit:
Disguised as a reporter from Georgia, Phyllis talked to Glenn Richards about the possibility of including Dominic Hughes in a story she was writing about parole violators. She pointed out that it was a compelling story that the D.A. took the word of a convicted felon in violation of his parole over the father of a murdered son. When Glenn told her that their meeting was over, she said that was okay. She still had to get a different side of the story from the attorneys, Christine and Michael.
Thanks lol! That doesn’t even look like it’s really her…the Man U can tell but it looks like a completely different actress was used for the reporter. If Stafford was really in that outfit I can picture doing a very OTT southern accent.

LOL at posting that makeover as if it changed her appearance in any way. I hadn't watched the funeral yet. That's really bad. I remember when Reva came back to GL wearing a big ass hat and standing behind curtains to hide herself and it was so dumb. Phyllis is just standing there openly facing the crowd! Unbelievable.
I posted these pics in the spoiler section of Phyllis' previous disguises. It kind of sums up the show.
2004 - A really good effort.
2005 - A significant drop in quality.
2023 - Not even trying.
When and why the hell did she dress like the one below?!?

What's the deal with Camryn on 1 ep? Amazing they can tell an adoption story pretty much offscreen.
That's so odd...She was sidelined the entire month nor did she appear at the gala... Mariah is a take or leave character, but I feel like Grimes has been fully committed to the show for over 26 years, and that's harsh for them to not have included in these episodes.

Well, I guess with Doug D. not being invited back, there goes my hope of Lauren and Paul ever reconciling (sorry Likey Fans...)

Thanks as always @YRfan23!!
Glad to see Lanier and Walters atop, boo to seeing Connor Floyd so underused.
I just realized but did Greg Rikaart not participate in Y&R’s 50th anniversary at all? LOL!!! We don’t need Kevin to ever appear again either.
Your welcome!!
I didn't realize we hardly saw Floyd at all last month? he always seems to be there, even if he doesn't really have his own story now.
LOL I think that's why the gala episodes were even better then I thought they were going to be back of the lack of Rikaart appearing!Days can keep him!

I stopped watching in 1999 after the Jabot/Newman crossover ended. Bradley did not give us a scene with two of his father's greatest creations Victor and Stephanie. A Victor/Stephanie scene would have been so epic and EB and SF would have given us a master class in acting. SF herself even said in an interview it was a missed opportunity that Stephanie and Victor did not interact during that storyline.
To this day I’m still wondering if we’d see Stephanie and Victor interact as individuals who show a certain respect to one another, or if Stephanie would flat out tear into Victor for going along with Brookes schemes. We often say Stephanie would probably be one of the few people to put Victor in his place.

My vote is Summer ends up dumping Kyle for Chance, although I can’t see her giving up on Harrison though.
Her and Chance would look very pretty together imo. I think the gala was the first I at least saw them together In scenes.

Did Alexs Diane and Sandras Phyllis interact more? I think I read she and Stafford only shared one scene.
They had scenes from 98-99. I forget what initially started their rivalry. All I can think of is that Phyllis was sniffing around Michael by this point, and was jealous of Diane's closeness to him when she was fighting her divorce from Victor?
MS and AD had only one scene in 2001. It used to be on here, unless it's saved.0 -

LOL. I think I saw it mentioned about Nina slapping Stafford’s Phyllis but before that pretty sure Sharon and Phyllis had a couple go arounds as well in 2007 I think and then again later under MAB they had a catfight involving a chocolate fountain at the Chancellor Estate.
And going back further (When Alex Donnelley and Sandra Nelson were playing Diane and Phyllis) Diane also gave Phyllis a good slap during fall 1998, when Michael got "kidnapped"
He came barging in all sweaty and dirty, before things got more physical of course.
Someone should post those two slaps side by side!(Diane slapping Phyllis)

The Diane & Phyllis scenes were great, it’s been a long time coming for Phyllis. Phyllis is completely unhinged and Stafford isn’t giggling for once.
This has only been like the second time I feel we have seen Staffords Phyllis actually get slapped? Am I right? Haha

LMAO @YRfan23 I see Sheila didn’t lose a shoe, so I guess that’s “original” in Thudley’s head?
Lol, he probably copied and paste KBs head and feet to LG body knowing him

Nina giving Abby hell was great, as was Jill reminding her of her own past. The highlight was Diane slapping the taste out of that big mouth of Phyllis.

BTW what has happened to Penn Badgley?!
If that was a recent interview with him, I thought it was classy of him to give his soap past a shout out.

CONS: It needed to slow down. They switch between segments and topics within segments too rapidly to where it feels unfocused. We need a 60 Minutes paced special. Its okay to play scenes for more than a soundbyte.
