Thanks for this! I really wish we could see this episode as it sounds like a good one! lots of action and suspense! As for the airdate, when I looked up what episode #2821 was, it gave me the date for Victor and Nikki's wedding (4/13/84) So that can't be correct.....and I want to say that this episode probably aired before November 1981, because I thought by then Nikki was in Victor's sphere, and she was already dancing at the Bayou again, I thought maybe this might be July/August 1981.....but maybe I'm wrong.....Still a good read regardless. I remember seeing some of that Nikki/Edward scenes when MTS choose them for her 35th anniversary thing on one of her TV Guide interviews.....They definitely were really creepy, especially the portrait of Edward's mother, but I wish we saw the rest of those scenes with Paul and Carl rescuing Nikki. Overall such an odd little story for Nikki, and it definitely seemed like Bill Bell made some of the show very horror movie like with the whole Psycho rip off with Edward....along with Victor and his dungeon and of course Vanessa about to commit suicide....definitely a lot different then what the show eventually became IMO. I forget sometimes that Danny started on the show that early and was involved with Patty.....I think they forgot this later on, but It's hard to picture Danny in these different story spheres with the Abbotts and Williams, because I'm more use to the music stuff with Traci and Lauren and later his love story with Cricket...I wish we saw more of those earlier clips.....the compilation clips I have feature NONE of Danny/Patty or really any Patty/Jack, except the brief clip of their wedding... I would love to see the earlier versions of the Jabot set.....I guess the more well known look started when the rest of the Abbotts came back in 82.... I remember you talking about those Jill/Patty scenes and they sound delicious, but it's still interesting that Deborah Adair could play a more vindictive Jill too....I saw a hint of that on the compilations, but this was probably the bitchiest I've heard about her Jill being....though I can't really by Jack/Patty because of the stuff coming up with Diane and Patty shooting him, and I thought Jack was always too much of a playboy this time to really have romantic feelings towards her. Fun read overall! Can't wait to read more summaries you may have!

Thanks for all this great information!! I remember you said you visited the center, and you gave me a few notes, but I can't wait to read more details about some of those episodes you saw! I need to get out there ASAP!! LOL To help out with one of the airdates on there..... Cricket and Danny w/Nan and the Crack Babies aired, July 26, 1991 ( I have that episode) That 1990 presentation sounds fantastic! please give details to that as well! I love and always prefer old interviews/events with the cast then now!

Great Episode! it's amazing how this was still such a strong era for the show overall! The Victoria scenes were heartbreaking.......though I thought for some reason she lost the baby earlier in the year.....but her and Cole were very heartfelt together, as I usually think they were more at each other throat's this particular years....I think I forgot how much I loved HT's relationship with JM as well.... Watching Nick here, annoys me even more that they allowed (or he's allowed) Nick to become a grown frat boy.......there's no way you would think that could happen at this point for Nick......even at a younger age he seemed a lot more mature......I won't get into how much I miss the old Sharon since I think I say that enough.....but I agree it was confusing at the one part where someone who sounded like her talked with Alice on the phone......btw that was unexpected when Millie fainted....I do agree though that it does remind me of Molly and Sheila.....I spent the whole scene thinking if Millie was gonna talk or not, since she didn't say much..... Rare to see Jack with Grace.......Always think JG was better here then Donna later on. I was actually surprised to see Nina show up....I don't why, but I always think that though Tricia Cast didn't leave till 2001, Nina really didn't have a lot to do her final years, so it's always nice when she pops up. Nice to see more of this Carl story.......even though it's disappointing how it went.....If Carl is still alive or more importantly the actor, I really wish he would come back, though that might be asking a lot...

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
I figured it wasn't the actual airdates as I think B&B celebrated 1,000 episodes early 1991......it's a shame that Lorie B's website has finally shut down, because that's where they had the German B&B episode guide which did help even if they were a little off as well, and some summaries were missing......I've only watched a few scattered episodes so far, but I'll compile a list of all the airdates at some point I think the last episode uploaded aired February 3, 1992......(though it looks like a lone 1996 episode is on there as well) It helps to remember which other episodes from certain years were on YT at one point too....like in 1990 when Stephanie finds out about Brooke and Eric, ("OH THAT BITCH CAME INTO THIS HOUSE!!" etc...) the original episode aired May 16, 1990, so just keep going forward or backwards from that start date....of course preemptions have to be considered as well, and I don't think Y&R/B&B always shared the same preemption dates or at least when it came to breaking news coverage....

haha, I can't believe (unless I was just asleep) I didn't find this channel before.....again despite the somewhat annoying V/O this is amazing! I honestly feel like 1989-1995 were the best years for the show, so It's great that so many episodes from some of that time are available on here! Of course I will do my usual research about airdates, haha I wonder how often B&B was preempted over Y&R back then, especially in 1990-1991 because of the gulf war coverages.

I don't know if someone mentioned this before, but I stumbled upon a YT channel that has LOTS of B&B episodes from 1989-1991 and early 1992. They seem to be mostly full episodes with some partials, but unfortunately have that annoying Polish VO overlapping the actual dialogue,(They are TVP episodes) but since most of the earlier B&B episodes are exclusive to YT, this is still a treat and appropriate I think for the 30th anniversary! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_WQ5kTd8upyOsiIC1n9g1w/featured

I still don't get how ATWT and GL have all these amazing quality late 70's/early 80's clips and nothing from Y&R.....I know those clips would be taken down instantly, but I wish people who have those episodes would at least try....but I agree I would love DVD quality of those old shows!

Were those the same summaries from the SONY site? haha I use to read those all the time, and yes for a while it seemed like they got the years mixed up, or at least the 70's info.....they seemed to be off by one year as I think they said Katherine haunting Suzanne was 1978, when it was really 79, and yes them saying Victor came on that same year. I remember all I wanted to do was just see all those episodes, and I'm glad so many have surfaced! haha. but yes that would be fun to see!
