No Problem! There's actually 6 and a half episodes ( I say that cause one only has the second half available LOL) in total from both playlists so make sure you watch the others too.... I'm actually a little upset the episodes didn't include Jill's party......they literally end an episode talking about the preparations and it jumps ahead a few days to the fallout on October 3....

I can dig through my archives if you wanna see the episodes....LOL I know Ryan was a bit of a sleaze but I hate how this show or any soaps no longer have characters that are like him.....basically the guy with the shady past that eventually becomes a decent guy but has always been (or at least tried to be) a decent guy....Reeves (like most of Bell's finds back in the day) was IMO a special type of casting for the show....that may sound weird but oh well..... Was that Bergman's clause? It would explain alot......guh why must writers let the actors do all the dictating...I would not have any of that if I worked on a soap.... I do kind of like the idea of Jack's son with Nikki being more fond of Victor.....it would be no different then young Nicholas being more fond of Jack back then....

I watched 9-30-96 I admit, I actually prefer episodes from 1989-1995, but that being said I did enjoy this episode! What was the story with Clarke and these hit men? I thought all those scenes, were very action packed, which is something that B&B needs today (and don't get be started on all the cheesy stuff with Aly and now Ivy) and what a scary situation for C.J to be in.....It was kind of funny how easily he beat 2 armed hitmen, yet IRL no one would survive a fall like that... Beautiful scene of Sally praying and Macy and Darla comforting her......it's such a loss having no Spectra ties on the canvas....not that they would fair as well anyways.... Stephanie really was the female Victor Newman of B&B the more I think about it....she probably would have had no problem actually beating him and getting to tell about it...LOL I forgot how much I enjoyed her sparring with Brooke, despite how tiresome it was sometimes.....her facial expressions when Brooke walked out killed me haha...

haha this might be depressing to watch when I get to it, knowing that we are near the last we saw of THE Sheila....:( lord I can't believe it's really been 10 years already.... No the Stuart scenes were from 1979, she then went on to marry Derek, only to have Kay "return from the dead" and kick her out of the house on their honeymoon night. That was at the end of 1979 though, so not too long before she left. I have never seen her last scenes but from what I can tell it wasn't anything major. The Derek/Jill/Kay story had pretty much wrapped up, or at least Jill's involvement. The last little part of it had Brock hire a private investigator to spy on Jill and Derek, he recorded a conversation they had and gave the tape to Kay. Kay showed the tape to Derek and wanting to prove she trusted him she refused to listen to it and put it in a safe. Derek didn't trust her and hired a cat burglar (one Douglas Austin, lol) to swipe it, he then made a fake tape with Derek telling Jill he was devoted to Kay and didn't want to see her (Jill) anymore. Just as Derek had suspected Kay held a party and played the tape (the switched one) and he managed to con Kay a little longer. This was basically the end of Brenda's run. Thanks for the info! It would be so nice to see all those scenes after hearing most of the audio clips from that story, including the famous scene where Kay scares the $%$^ out of Jill and she screams her head off...LOL Those scenes with the tape sound like fun though.

Oh I have those episodes! did you get to see them? I feel like during that time, they didn't really know what to do with Ryan and Nina as a couple (as well as Ryan's occasional butting his head into Victoria's lovelife) so they just did some random story arcs......I guess maybe they felt it would give Tricia some good emotional material or something. (and she did kill all those scenes.....I wish I had the episodes where she tells Ryan and they cry together) they also toyed on and off about Nina finding her real father and even hinted that when Jed Sanders first came on he was to be Nina's father but they dropped and changed the story with him getting involved with Nikki and Jill..... i still sometimes think if they should have let Nikki and Jack's child live....my inner paranoia can't help but wonder sometimes if Braeden demanded to Bell not to have Jack father Nikki's child (as she did miscarry their first one when she fell off the horse) but it's stupid to think as Bell always had the last say....unlike now...

Thanks for all the info about Jill everyone! I always enjoy knowing airdates for character's first and last episodes.... Yeah Brenda taped her final scenes as Jill the first time January 18, 1980 so I guess since it was 2 weeks ahead of filming that would lead to February 1, being her last airdate......(was that the scene from the clips I just posted of Stuart kicking her out of his house?) there doesn't seem to be a first airdate for her back in 1973 as she wasn't in the first episode.....I'm assuming she first aired sometime during that first week?

I haven't seen a whole lot of J.T runs, especially his early scenes, but the last couple of years he was on, I did enjoy his "take none of their crap" attitude he had with Victoria and her family.....I do feel they wasted Mackenzie on him though, maybe it was just Clementine's portrayal but it was lacking as far as I'm concerned.... If a miracle did happen and the show got back to Bill Bell or Kay Alden quality (we would truly need a miracle at this point) I still think it would be nice to see J.T back to usher a teenage Reed back, and from following in his mother's footsteps gets involved with somebody way too old from him (could be a girl or even a guy if the show ever decides to get over those silly issues) and it starts out sweet until he realizes he has trouble with sex as Victoria did with Ryan....that's the perfect opportunity to truly bring up a past story and use it in the present instead of just acting like you did (coughMABcough) I feel like after watching 1982 it would have been interesting if they just kept Leslie and Lorie on and maybe later bought in a teenage or at least early college age Brooks who turns out to be Phillip IV's secret lover

That's interesting that Jill almost tanked even back then....I guess that's why it's a good thing social media wasn't around yet as I'm sure everyone would be all over how OTT Jill had become with Brenda towards the end...... What did you think about Katherine and Dina plotting? I said after watching the 1982 clips that featured some of Allison that it would have been fun if Allison and Jill had teamed up to get back at Katherine,do you think that would have been a good idea or if it was even a good idea to write Allison off in the first place? You're very welcome Hard to believe these episodes are a decade old. I hardly remember anything since then nowadays. Merry Christmas to you too I'm glad I found that channel actually, they post a lot of Brenda Dickson clips on there. Speaking of that, I have to thank you again for all the effort, it's great being able to see anything Y&R-related before 1987. I'm glad to finally be able to see some more of Deborah Adair as Jill. Hey, I wanted to let you know I did watch a couple more of the 2005 shows.....I can't say enough how bad I feel that I'm not fully caught up since I only just finished 9/15/05 and 9/16/05, but I will get to the rest slowly but surely, haha! I still appreciate the hard work you've done! I forgot how fun those Sheila scenes are while she is posing as the waitress......I really miss Gina. For some reason Patty Weaver looks very unhappy,so I wonder if whatever health issues she already has was overcoming her then..... I always wonder if Sheila and Gina had scenes during her original run, I feel like they had to have known each other cause Gina was always one of those characters that seemed to know everybody when the main characters didn't that well, haha...the ending scene of her rescuing Gloria from joking and John and Michael just yelling at her was hysterical.... were they trying to hint at a J.T/Nikki pairing? I think that would have been an interesting idea, then waste Boretoria on him (though I guess they were pretty popular if I recall) I really could care less about Kevin/Mac and the coffee house.... I never really liked Brad, but it's funny how much I prefer him on these episodes then the arrogant ass Don Diamont portrays with Bill Spencer....he surprisingly seems to have decent chemistry with Heinle.... I'm sorry but I would never buy Yolanda hooking up with old Tucker......yes most of that stuff with YoHARMONY and Tucker was retcon after retcon, but like I said why didn't they just put her with Malcolm.....

Did Deborah leave on her own or did they fire her in favor of Brenda returning? She seemed to play more of a "mature" Jill compared to Brenda and even some of Jess, though I liked from what I saw in the clips they still kept some of the spunk Brenda (and later Jess) kept with her. I loved watching that scene of her rubbing it in Katherine's face that she was now a rich woman and wasn't intimidated by her anymore.....that seemed to really declare what the remainder of the Jill/Kay feud would be about in years to come...

Thanks! yeah these scenes were posted a year ago and I think had to be reposted because of copyright stuff, the second clip is from April 8, 1992 cause I just got the episode with those scenes....I got April 7 92 too, where Sheila gets the birthmark removed, but none of those scenes are posted....I will eventually get to posting those 2 shows! The dates range from March 17-April 15, 92 I think....They are basically the entire build up scenes to the lab fight and farmhouse. This is a crazy set of clips! Thank you so much for posting these! Some things for me that sprung to mind when watching (and also some questions that popped up): All the stuff with Eve Howard! I had no idea Julia Newman was involved in this as well! Quick few questions... What was going on with Victor's supposed "death" in those clips? Was he faking it for some reason? I loved that confrontation between Nikki and Eve - that was pure soap. Lorie Brooks and Vanessa Prentiss! And the courtroom scenes! So full on! Poor Lucas though Was Lance still on at this stage? On a related note, a farewell scene between Stuart and Leslie. Was this Leslie's final farewell from Y&R? The scenes with Jill and little Phillip - you could see the seeds being sown already for all the late 80s stuff with him, Cricket and Nina. Sounds like Phillip already hated his mother a great deal even as a young kid. It was implied that Jill had had a few boyfriends prior to that - was that actually the case? As an aside, very bizarre seeing Deborah Adair playing Jill here - quite understated, very human in fact (compared to what we would later see in the compilation with Brenda Dickson). Still on Jill for a moment - what was the story behind her and Stuart Brooks?? And also really fascinating to compare 70s Brenda with 80s Brenda in those clips? All the scenes with Dina, particularly against Brenda Jill. But the stuff that really stood out for me here was Dina and Ashley. Geez, Ashley HATED her mother with a passion, particularly that hospital room scene (I'm guessing Tracy was in the bed? What was the story there?) I also had no idea that Danny Romalotti was even on back in those days - and in storyline with Patti Williams?? I must admit I had a big WTF moment when I saw that clip with Michael Damian and Andrea Evans. I gather it was Andrea's Patti that shot Jack. But it looked like it was a different Patti that married Jack in the first place (and was that Danny looking on wistfully in the crowd during the wedding ceremony)? Speaking of wedding ceremonies, lovely to see snippets of Victor/Nikki #1. Side question: had Ashley become involved with the storyline by that stage? Nikki cradling Victoria after she fell down the stairs - so sad! And with Jack coming to the rescue afterwards! And lastly, Jill's car accident and Jack coming to her rescue - was that the lead up to THE hook-up scene with the Lindsay Wells photo and ensuing Katherine blackmail? Once again, a mega thank you for all these clips! Amazing to watch :) Your welcome! I was happy to see these clips included with my new dvds, I still have one more to post which is mostly more scenes of 1983-1984 involving more of the early parts of the Jack/Jill affair story....which was great to see as a while the 1985-1986 stuff dealing from Jill and John's divorce and the build up and aftermath of Jill getting shot was posted. It's funny cause of the Eve/Julia,Victor,Nikki scenes are already on youtube (I think posted from that same montage) but this is the most of Deborah Adair Jill I have scene.....I didn't even know they had brought a young Phillip back so he could meet his mother's new husband.....In the next set of clips is a scene where BD Jill calls a slightly older Phillip wanting him to come home for Christmas but he refuses....It was a sad scene yet understanding as you could see Jill clearly did not want her own son around during that time... I do believe that was Leslie's final scene which was a surprise to see! I think I read that she was the last Brooks sister to leave the show that time, though Stuart still stuck around a little after the show's 10th anniversary.... I always have that same thought about Danny, that I can't believe he was on that many years.....

Yeah, I luckily went back and now saved some clips I thought were gone, that you had saved like the full lab fight scenes and the Y&R 1995 Sheila and Lauren scenes before the Jacuzzi fight........ I know someone out there has those full episodes......LOL I mean we did wait forever it seemed just to even get early 90's episodes on here, so I'm sure one day we will hit the jackpot and get earlier dates too, at least I hope.. you have to remember that in 2003 when they had Victor dream of meeting his father before George Kennedy played him, it was Braeden playing Victor's father which is the closest to a Braeden giving Braeden hell scene that we had.....I'm sure if they ever did the clone thing it would be more fun watching the REAL Victor give the false Victor hell, especially if they had the real Victor speak for the audience in a sense and blast the clone for all the "non-Victor" things he's done the last few years...haha

Yeah that channel mostly provides scenes with Brenda Dickson as Jill, as well as Sheila clips from Y&R/B&B....I hope most of them are still on there as some could have been deleted.... I'm glad I was able to share those montages of scenes from the early/mid 80's It's really cool to see all of that stuff, but I just wish there were more consecutive full episodes around from that time, instead of just the edits we get, though they are better then nothing...haha in regards to Victor in that one clip, if they decided to tell one more evil clone story with Victor this time, I will probably buy it if that would explain the reason he's so unsufferable now.....that's just not Victor we are watching now, compared to 1984...

What were there biggest mistakes? Bell's said his biggest mistake was killing off Phillip III and well we saw how rectifying that turned out. Alden's was making Katherine and Jill mother and daughter(or was that Smith?) and while the twist was undone it eventually lead to bringing on Tucker McCall and shoving him down our throats for over three years. I personally don't think killing off Phillip III was a bad idea.....if anything it's the show's fault that they never gave Phillip IV a proper story when they aged him, and I just want to forget that "Chance the Virgin" crap with Ronan, and Heather/Chloe. MAB undoing the mother/daughter stuff needed to happen, but the entire Kay/Jill relationship was already ruined, so it just made it worse.... I had to laugh reading this. Going over the July of '91 episodes today, one line stuck out: Molly's line to Sheila about her always wanting a sister as a child, and eventually making her understand that 'that was never going to happen.' Leave it to good ol' MAB to put the kibosh on that one. I have to hand it to her though, I rejoiced when she reversed the decision to have Katherine and Jill as mother and daughter. It's funny cause that seems to be the case with several scenes back then, where I'm sure MAB had to watch some episodes back of her late father in law's work, and I feel like she just got her ideas from things bought up in the dialogue that were innocent and unintentional....on a 1992 show, Sheila joked to Scott when he refused her martini's because they already had Scotty because of that, she always "wanted twins".....and BAM! years later we are led to believe she had Ryder and Daisy with Terrible Tom....
