  1. awesome! between you getting those episodes and the ones I'm getting there will be a lot to look forward too! I think Bill Bell was afraid that Sheila would be too much for Victor to handle which is why it was smart of him not to have them meet (or at least not have story together) and ugh.....it still annoys me how much Stephanie really did become a female Victor......she really could have used one more visit from her old pal Sheila before she died......it was sad to see her go granted, but she was just an insufferable witch towards the end....I know Flannery comes off a lot more likable then Braeden IRL but the fact that she had a "no slapping Stephanie" clause in her contract (well....maybe the last 6 or 7 years) kind of made it really ridiculous as Stephanie would've been slapped several times for all the stuff she said.....it was more like Stephanie always said all these hurtful things and someone would retaliate by insulting her back then it was....SLAP!!! haha.....yup such a Victor Newman thing, except he punches people out knowing damn well he deserves a big knock out too...LOL Yeah Katherine really didn't have to go there, and Jill was actually correct when she said "what do you deserve then?" I will always love Katherine but sometimes I feel like after the first decade most of the town never realized how much of a manipulative person Kay could be in the early years of the show when Jill was working for her.....I know it was all character driven how Katherine sort of grew out of that sinister side of her, and Jill became more harder and bitchier, but the problem I feel with Katherine AND Victor is that unlike DOOL where the whole town knows Stefano is basically the devil and treat him that way....I feel like sometimes it would be better if all along people knew of Victor as this horrible ruthless man instead of everyone mostly kissing his feat and bowing towards him as this great human being (if you watch the episode I just uploaded from June 15, 1993 which is Victor's funeral, though it wasn't Victor who died you will see what I mean) I guess that's one thing that made Y&R unique that it was the soap's where the anti heros can be the leading character's in a way......but in retrospect I think all of G.C gave Victor too much credit.....and it's like when people like Sheila eventually come along, who sort of did suffer for the havoc she caused, you kind of think it's such a waste not to see Victor defeated more often.....I know back then there were rare occasions, but even then he was mostly treated as an anti-hero....I hope this all makes sense LOL... haha Yes, there certainly will be. I almost miss Michelle Stafford when I see this version of Phyllis. There are times where I honestly have to remind myself that Gina Tognoni's been here just over a year, Michelle's Phyllis I haven't really been invested in since the early 2000s, I cannot for the life of me remember loving her as much in the last ten years as I did watching these 1994-2003 episodes. Although, having said that, I did enjoy her going back to her old ways in 2007 after Pheila. Stephanie was probably my favourite character out of everybody on B&B. Well, her former self, before she became a complete caricature and was just there to meddle and cause hell. I think the last time I truly enjoyed Stephanie was any scene she had with Darlene Conley. Oh, and in 2003 when she took back Forrester and literally had Brooke dumped in the trash. That's where my hatred for Victor truly comes into play. Look at how much Sharon has done over the years and some of the hell she's caused, and practically all of GC is usually armed with their torches and pitchforks. Hell, even Sheila! Lauren's utter refusal to even contemplate the thought of forgiving Sheila for what happened with Scotty, even when Sheila was getting psychiatric help from James. And yet, after everything that Victor has done, where the hell is his lynch mob? I'm amazed no HW has come along, taken one look at this character, and refused to have anybody, namely EB, screw with their script, and told him too bad if he doesn't like it. I'm disappointed to hear about the no slapping clause in Susan's contract also. Granted, I never noticed it since I wasn't watching. Hell, I think the last time I remember her getting slapped was 2005 when everybody discovered her heart attack was faked. Bridget slapped her then didn't she? I actually watched a September 2012 episode recently, with Victor's funeral/Sharon's wedding to Tucker, and I could not for the life of me believe how many people were bereaved that the man was dead, most of all Jack! The only thing that made it worthwhile was watching Sharon making the absolute biggest mockery out of the whole thing. Granted, she knew he was far from dead, but it was still hilarious to watch. I cannot believe they all kept a straight face filming that. haha I will be honest I am excited to see the hit and run part, but I'm also excited that these episodes apparently have scenes of Lauren interacting with Ryan and Nina, cause they were bridesmaids (Nina was the MOH of course) and Ryan was the best man (IDK why???) at Paul and Cricket's wedding which of course was suppose to happen......I always feel like they never interact in any of the old episodes except when the group is all together, so it will be cool to see that, LOL.. My main problem with Stafford, was that though she is the definite Phyllis, I always got fed up with how much she complained about stories behind the scenes.....I feel like she's another person who never liked to see Phyllis lose so they caved to her and had her come out on top sometimes.....I LOVED it when Nina slapped the hell out of her a few years back! I was praying so much for that to happen and it finally did.....I think I was shaking cause I thought Phyllis had a "no slap" thing too, LOL. with that said I do wish more of early Phyllis circa 1994-1996 was available.....Gina is a great actress, but you can't deny how dumbed down Phyllis is and I just roll my eyes at her and Jack cause ugh.....I just don't buy this great love of theirs. I guess they are endgame, but that doesn't mean I have to endure that LOL Believe, I often do daydream about that ONE writer who will want to sit down with Braeden and really talk some much needed sense as to why he shouldn't dictate how Victor's story will be played out.....I know it's terrible but I feel like it would be kind of awesome if Braeden even gets emotional...almost like a therapy session....I would personally (and I know this sounds like really bad) tell him, think about all this villains that you watch on disney movies with your granddaughters.....they all have to pay at the end.....I know this is a soap, but would YOU get tired of watching villains with never pay for there crimes, then work their way back up??? SF apparently started that clause after KKL really slapped her during that big BELIEF fight. She insisted that Brooke actually slap Stephanie back for once cause it hasn't happen, but then was like "NO MORE!!!"..... of course I don't get that since she was slapped 2 or 3 other times by Brooke......maybe KKL was the exception...LOL
  2. I have to agree there, I remembered a lot more of the characters from B&B than Y&R. Y&R however appealed to me more because it was the 'darker' soap in my eyes, the storylines intrigued me much more than B&B. I think because as you said with B&B being the more campy soap and injected a lot more comedy than Y&R, that was what pushed me more towards Y&R. haha Yeah, I did a lot of Y&R and B&B research on YT too. As much as I do have a soft spot for the early 2000s because that was the Y&R I remember, I could not believe how much good stuff I had missed out on. B&B I'd disliked for years by this point, but it was the same result. I could not believe how much Sheila alone had committed before I was properly introduced to her in her 2002 stint, on two soaps no less! I had no idea she and Lauren had so much history together. One of my favourite experiences however was finally getting to see just when and how the Stephanie and Brooke feud began. oh yeah, I agree with you on Y&R being the darker soap as another thing that stuck with me as a small child was how dark looking the show always seemed....I think I probably said to myself "why does it look like it's always nightime" LOL of course way later I learned it was intentionally like that and even now that's a characteristic I'm sad the show has lost forever..... The B&B research led me into Y&R research LOL.....all I did basically was remember things about the show like Sheila, Sally and Brooke/Stephanie fighting (as I've always had a soft spot for mother/daughter in law's feuding because of a son.....like Kate/Sami LOL) Of course I became very intrigued with the all the stuff Sheila committed on Y&R but back then when I was just getting into all that stuff I was just stunned how much I learned she basically was in her own bubble.....for some reason it was always the younger Y&R characters at the time I was more interested on how Sheila would effected them if they crossed paths....people like Victoria,Ryan,Nina cause visually I probably would have liked to see them all standing side by side, especially since Scott Reeves was such a baby faced person who I couldn't believe once had such a beautiful mature looking woman like Kimberlin as a co star(I seriously probably would ask him in person point blank what he thought of Sheila since that was basically the big story going on when he first came on LOL), but I'm glad now they she never crossed path except with Lauren, Scott, Paul and a few others.... I agree completely, the fact that the show's entire look is now gone is probably what annoys me the most watching the current episodes. I could easily mistake it for any other soap opera on the air. Days of our Lives and Y&R air back to back here in Australia, I have actually done that on a few occasions (Y&R's quite a bit behind here, it's amazing how much this show changes over time!!). haha Besides Sheila, needless to say as I think you know, Brooke and Stephanie were the highlight for me for a long time there. Could not get enough of them. And seeing how it all began was an absolute ball. Hell, even now I go through that Susan Flannery fan site and find new clips of them I've never seen before. I almost hate to say it, but Sally was a character I never really began to appreciate until I got older unfortunately. I think it's because I was more interested in Macy than anything to be honest One storyline I cannot believe I did not know a thing about, even up until I discovered these forums, is David Kimble. I had absoluely zero clue about the character's existence at all until I saw those Masquerade Ball episodes I think it was. I was in total shock that Y&R had a sicker and far more twisted villain than Sheila running around, while she was still in GC! The show's production is just godawful now.....jeez it has never looked so cheap and what's funny is that it's been that way for years now.....for the first 25-30 years or so Y&R's production looked so much more cinematic compared to the other soaps, and now it looks like some cheap school production if I'm being honest....I can't really say which soap has the better production (probably B&B) but Y&R is not at the top of the list... haha I actually first discovered Brooke and Stephanie actually being enemies when I was watching the episodes of Stephanie going ballistic on her at the big bear cabin when she was involved with Thorne.....haha i kept thinking Stephanie was so scary, but I remember liking all the flashbacks they showed of Brooke being a bitch to Stephanie and even then at the age of 8 I think I was rooting for Stephanie haha...of course I found out that Stephanie did some pretty awful stuff to Brooke but I think it was pretty even matched for the most part....Sheila being Stephanie's ultimate payback..... Yes Lorie B's site I believe? that's a very good site that unfortunately I haven't visited often but they do seem to have almost every Stephanie scene which is great! They use to be on youtube which was better but of course the copyright idiots drove them away.... I feel like there is a void with Sally being gone....they tried to fill it with Pam and before I think Jackie, but it just never quite works......I have thought that if anyone could be the show's new Sally, Tawny would be a great choice....I always liked Andrea Evans so maybe that's why I'm thinking of that, but it would be kind of fun for her (and Amber) to come back and somehow she inherits or gets enough money to start a rival fashion house......I could see her and Brooke rebuilding that modern Stephanie/Sally rivalry considering how Brooke always felt about Amber.... Yeah David and Sheila being on at the same time is pretty fascinating......I think the first David scene I saw (which is in my episodes) is Jill squeezing David's balls at the hospital LOL.......when I realized that the scene was in 1991 while Sheila was still on there, I think I was just more shocked that Jill did something as crazy as Sheila would have done.......I always knew Jill was the show's bitch but that was such a psychotic dark thing to do and I always thought if Jill and Sheila were enemies it would be a bloodbath LOL.....but it's fascinating that Sheila and David DID have a scene. together, in one of my September 1991 episodes David breaks into John Silva's office (in his disguise) to look up Nina's will, then he has to hide behind a desk cause in walks John with Glenn Richards AND Sheila....who came wanting to know how they can keep her mother locked up without visitors (this was after Sheila made it look like Molly was gonna kill herself) David looked like he was so into Sheila's conversation but when they left all he said was "finally those morons left" and all I kept thinking is that if Sheila had advanced hearing, David would have been a dead man....LOL
  3. haha no problem! it would be cool if you got those dates! I think Sheila would have probably been up Victor's ally in regards to woman.....at least until she stabbed him in the back (maybe literally LOL) granted I'm glad they never interacted during her original run, especially since she would have just become Victor's latest pawn in a scheme against someone......(Victor decides Michael needs to "pay" for something and unleashes Sheila on Lauren....again...LOL) but I do think Victor deep down admired Sheila's crazy, haha.....you have to remember Eve Howard scared Victor a little in the 80's..... I actually also really liked seeing Nikki's reactions towards Sheila too in those episodes as it sort of seemed like they made it hit her in a more personal manner if that makes sense, cause remember Nikki once upon a time was gonna be Scott's step-mother....I know Nikki/Lauren onscreen were never closed even if they are friendly with each other, but since Nikki at one time was sort of close to Scott because of his dad I'm sure she got an earful about Sheila (maybe even met her once) even though Scott and Nikki didn't interact all that much once Sheila was in full swing.....but the way Nikki said some of her lines about Sheila..."She's evil, she's just evil...." "She knew exactly what she was doing" kind of sounded more like she was remembering all the hell that her almost former Step-son and Step-grandson for that matter went through.... haha Oh yeah, about to place an order for them so I shall post them to YT as soon as they arrive I'm really glad Sheila and Victor never really got to know each other personally. As much as I love Sheila, I would never want her to succeed in, say, killing Lauren or succeeding in committing some atrocity to that effect. Having said that, the idea of her being manipulated and having the wool pulled over her eyes by TGVN and ultimately screwed over would be one of the most excruciating things to watch. Still, like we've discussed in the past, with Stephanie basically being the female equivalent to Victor, it was nice to see Sheila give her hell for all those years. Even Katherine acknowledging Sheila with "Sheila got exactly what she deserved." is still weird for me to listen to. And as much as it pains me to give any credit to anything they did in that Pheila storyline, I did appreciate those scenes where everybody joined together to help find Phyllis and the babies, especially the Nikki scenes you mentioned. I always imagine the real Sheila was out there somewhere just laughing after discovering she indirectly had the most prestigious of Genoa City up in arms courtesy of 'Sugar'. awesome! between you getting those episodes and the ones I'm getting there will be a lot to look forward too! I think Bill Bell was afraid that Sheila would be too much for Victor to handle which is why it was smart of him not to have them meet (or at least not have story together) and ugh.....it still annoys me how much Stephanie really did become a female Victor......she really could have used one more visit from her old pal Sheila before she died......it was sad to see her go granted, but she was just an insufferable witch towards the end....I know Flannery comes off a lot more likable then Braeden IRL but the fact that she had a "no slapping Stephanie" clause in her contract (well....maybe the last 6 or 7 years) kind of made it really ridiculous as Stephanie would've been slapped several times for all the stuff she said.....it was more like Stephanie always said all these hurtful things and someone would retaliate by insulting her back then it was....SLAP!!! haha.....yup such a Victor Newman thing, except he punches people out knowing damn well he deserves a big knock out too...LOL Yeah Katherine really didn't have to go there, and Jill was actually correct when she said "what do you deserve then?" 5. Ah it may have been in '95 when Taylor was running around with Sally and Gladys with that hideous British accent. Her 2005 return she disrupted on Nick and Bridget's umpteenth weddings by screaming and getting kidnapped and everyone thought they saw Taylor but weren't sure. Brooke and Taylor were actually initially very civil when Taylor showed up alive and were trying to accept each other. I forgot about Gladys and Sally being a team for a while.....there was once a hilarious scene posted when Lauren and Stephanie became enemies and she was bitching to Sally and Gladys at the hair salon about her, and Stephanie was sitting right next to her with her head covered the whole time....haha B&B arguably can be better with comedy then Y&R is (which tbh would probably make some of the stories more watchable if they added more humor......) I remember Brad Bell attempted several times for Brooke and Taylor to become friends even going as far as them both getting therapy and doing a mud fight Dynasty rip off.....it honestly proved that no matter how much of a you know what Brooke is, it's always been the fact that Taylor is so self righteous acts like she's better then Brooke most of the time...even being in denial on how much her own daughter turned out to be more like Brooke....
  6. LOL I just remember Brooke literally hyperventilating when she realized it was Taylor in that goofy disguise.......(maybe that was the 2005 return? haha) to me the Omar stuff is one of those old stories a modern day writer like Carlivati when have an orgasam over.....just because he would totally put a modern day OTT camp spin to it....
  7. I honestly always had more of a recollection of B&B characters then Y&R......maybe cause it was a small cast, and even then I always sensed Y&R was a huge cast, but besides Victor, Nikki, Jack,Katherine, Cricket, Nina, Paul etc (oh and the Winters though I never got their names when I was that young LOL they were just the black people to me when I was little haha)......I never really had such a strong recollection for most of the Y&R people as bad as it sounds......I honestly didn't realize characters like Jill, Lauren,Danny,Ashley,John, Victoria,Ryan etc.....existed on the show until I started watching old clips...LOL I know that sounds bad.....I think the first time I realized Lauren and Sheila were enemies was when I watched her fighting with her in the wedding dress, and I was like "gosh this red headed woman sounds so annoying....who is she?, why does it seem like she hates Sheila so much then Stephanie? etc....haha......then I got introduced to the lab fight and it was like "woah this isn't B&B....."the music sounds soo scary".....yikes those screams at the end......LOL then I did my Sheila Y&R research and the rest was history...LOL
  8. haha I can't imagine she'd ham it up as much as MS did. I wouldn't be surprised if every regime since LML and MAB has taken one look at Sheila, seen all the sh*t they've done with her even after she was supposedly 'killed', and just thought 'f*ck it' and not even bothered with her. Which is sad, because if they actually did bring Kimberlin back, I couldn't care less how they explain Pheila or Sarah, Daisy and Ryder. Thanks for the link. I've been buying from another seller so far, ghfan, or something to that effect. She had a lot of the missing Sheila episodes from '05. I'm just waiting for someone to add August 11 and 12 to their list and that's it really. I think those are when Michael meets up with Eric to discuss Sheila, followed by Michael visiting Sugar in the hospital. Thanks so much for the '94 dates, I've been trying to find the exact ones for a while now. haha I did like hearing the great Victor Newman shaking in his boots in regards to Sheila, and even acknowledging something along the lines of 'she's a very clever lady.' Oh yeah I know who that is LOL.....I think they also mostly have every dates that are the same from the other sellers......the ioffer one is a little more exclusive as that does eventually get updated with more stuff....even if it takes forever.....haha (but it's worth it) haha no problem! it would be cool if you got those dates! "She knew exactly what she was doing" kind of sounded more like she was remembering all the hell that her almost former Step-son and Step-grandson for that matter went through....
  9. haha It is very depressing. Especially considering how much Kimberlin sold those final few minutes. Oh wow, that is fantastic news! I haven't been browsing on there lately, I should probably check to see what else they have. Still dying to get my hands on Phyllis running down Christine and Paul as morbid as that may sound I do have some more 2006 in my collection, such as some episodes from April and November. I do have late December and a bit of 2007, namely that whole Pheila thing if we're all in dire need of a laugh as someone on here once said? It's also depressing as not only did we lose Sheila forever (maybe) Scotty was sent packing too.......my goodness if they had the slightest care that man would have been able to start the next generation of Grainger/Fenmore's (AND Abbott's/Carlton's if he did get with Colleen like....ahem.....he was suppose too)....seriously it's not too late, and it's not that hard to find a tall dark and handsome actor to play him now, LOL Yes i'm so excited! I just love getting all the full 1993 crossover episodes even if most of the actual Sheila clips are not exactly all that new (maybe some will be) I am a little worried that the dates might be wrong as that happens from time to time, but we will see.....haha in case you were wondering, this is who I will be getting those episodes from.....not sure if you have seen his page, but he's the one most of the episodes I have collected are from and he also taped them and saved them originally... http://www.ioffer.com/i/the-young-and-the-restless-full-episodes-581842228 The ones I'm getting that he just added are Oct 19,20,21,22,25,26, 1993 (hopefully all or most of those dates are right LOL) I got the other 1993 dates from my French friend who's list I believe you are referring too and he DOES have the Paul and Cricket getting run over episodes! Dec 27,28,29,30 1994 I believe.....I was gonna get those eventually, but please if you are interested you should get them too! haha I'll be honest and probably jump around those 07 episodes with Pheila just to watch her scenes and see people's reactions.....it was just fun getting to hear all of G.C react to Sheila...haha... She would do well......but It's stupid when you think about it, that of all the people that should have known Jack was Marco all that damn time,Phyllis would be the first to figure it out,as all she had to do was think back to the Pheila stuff........
  10. haha You got it. Stephanie answering the door to Sheila right before she was shot is my first proper memory. I remember that look she gave Stephanie scaring the absolute hell out of me Haha I love it! It's so strange cause that was the only real bad thing I remember Sheila doing back then, but even though I knew she was "the bad lady" cause she was always so mean looking LOL.....her and Sally stood out the most from my childhood..... boy, typing all this just makes me more sad how even if not all the kids our age grew up watching soaps like we do, I'm sure they would still be able to tell you their memories of certain characters like Sheila back then if their parents watched.......today's children (Including my baby nieces) will probably never have any real knowledge or recollection of soaps as they get older (of course by the time most are our ages they will probably be all gone)
  11. Oh, yes, even though I don't remember much and my viewership back then was sporadic, I still think of it fondly as one of my favorite B&B stories. So soapy, so out there, and so much fun! LOL Sheila is usually it! She's my second memory, when she had James locked up in the secret dungeon lol I will never forget my grandma tsk-tsking at Brooke's whorish ways. She'd say to young me, "she's slept with everyone!" LOL that's hysterical......I feel like my Italian grandmother (who was more of an ABC soap person according to my mother) would have lots of fun things to say too.......One of the last conversations we had before she passed sadly was about soaps and I remember her saying she was tired of seeing all the young people takeover the shows now...LOL My mother unfortunately doesn't seem like she was ever as passionate about her soaps back then as I can be....(whenever we watch old Y&R stuff she always has to ask me questions about the characters, so clearly she's blocked all her memories of Y&R/B&B out...) but I actually do remember her crying during some scenes back then LOL......I swear one of them just happen to be these episodes with Taylor marrying Omar......I think she preferred Ridge/Taylor back then LOL...... Sally actually made me cry at the tender age of 5......It was when Saul died and they showed flashbacks and we saw Sally crying over him.....made me tear up even back then....haha
  12. haha I think some of our first memories of Y&R/B&B are always something Sheila related!.......I swear Sheila pushing her shrink off the balcony was the first memory I have of her when my mom watched back then....LOL I was 3 years old....
  13. Thanks so much for these! The dates are 11/28 and 11/29 BTW! LOL Yeah the Omar stuff is also an early B&B memory at the age of 4.....as cheesy as it comes off sometimes, I think I prefer this cheese over what they try to do now.....at least more effort was put on here.....I guess with Bill Bell consulting, nothing got too out of hand.....haha I wish they would say Phoebe is alive and being held captive by Omar's son that he had with Taylor.....major retcon but it might work if told right... always good to see Sally......I still can't believe Michael Sabatino was on here for a couple years as Anthony......I wonder if those who followed both Days and B&B at the time had some things to say as Lawrence on Days seemed to be a more grounded role then Anthony...though besides the fact that he turned psychotic I don't know much about him...
  14. Can't thank you enough! still not sure if I will be able to watch 1/11/06 eventually without being sad....haha For some great news though........You know how I was saying recently how it would be nice to see the full episodes of Sheila coming back to see Scott before the catalina trip? well my seller has updated his 1993 with those dates and I have placed my order! haha.......
  15. Thank you for posting this! I watched this last night, and it was a joy to watch. A few questions and observations that arose for me after this: So Nikki was pregnant with Jack's baby but for some reason didn't actually want the baby (was it because she still wanted Victor?). Also, was this the baby that she lost in the riding accident that in turn caused her to become addicted to pain killers? Traci coming back to claim Brad, but he was dating Ashley. So eager to find out what happened at that dinner date (did Brad and/or Ashley end up telling Traci about the two of them?) Danny being set up by the drug stash - correct me if I'm wrong, but this was one of David Kimble's devious plans? Also, was it explained what was with that detective's attitude towards musicians in general? (that came across really suss to me). Rex and Leanna???? They were a thing??? Jill, John and Kay. It was actually nice to see Jill and John trying to reconnect and reconsider getting back together. I know they eventually remarried 2-3 years later, but did anything come between them in the meantime? And that conversation between John and Ashley - so beautiful to see Ashley be happy for her dad and supportive of his choices. Your very welcome! I'm working on getting some more dates as we speak......there's some more 1993 that I saw was newly listed from my usual seller that I have been wanting to get so I hope to get those dates soon! This was the baby that Nikki lost while riding the horse leading to her addiction....(I posted the October 1990 episodes showing all that) I think she wanted the baby but it was more of wanting Victor back more.....if wasn't really till after this miscarriage she developed real feelings for Jack as he had already done too....(at least for a couple years) I know Traci found out eventually, but I don't have any dates showing how she did.......hopefully down the road....I personally would have stayed with Brad if I were Ashley, but I always thought Brenda Epperson and Don Diamont looked hot together, LOL Yes David framed Danny to prevent him from going to Newark with Cricket.....He was afraid that while they were originally going there to get engaged, they were also going there to fix Nina's brooch (or something like that) that David had given Nina as a wedding gift.....the brooch originally belonged to David's first wife who he killed and I guess he figured that Danny and Cricket would uncover evidence from the Brooch that it was originally from his first dead wife, totally busting David in the process.....(I might be missing some details but it's been a while since I watched the episodes LOL) I'm totally with you with that detective.....ugh......he's such a smug SOB.......I know this was an example of Bill Bell showing backlash people can get, but he did it sometimes in such a way where he makes all those side characters come out like jerks....and what annoys me is that I don't think this dude even apologized to Danny after he was cleared of the charges.....not that he wouldn't still feel like he had too cause of his opinion of rock and roll (which in a way is understandable especially from that time) but he was just a prick to all of them........I don't know why but it always annoys me when you have those type of characters who always (mostly recurring lawyers/detectives) go after all the good guys and never realizing or at least the show letting them realize they have been doped by the bad guys.......This detective never knowing (at least not in my episodes) Danny was framed and then that nasty Glenn Richards guy who went after Nina for shooting David.
  16. I am surprised at what we're able to salvage from YT from time to time, particularly the 70s/early 80s episodes. It is nice being able to get a glimpse of that era in some form. I have to agree with you there. I'd love to see her attempt to track down James and Mary. Plus, was her supposed child with Massimo ever followed up on? Weren't there rumors Daisy was going to be Diana Carter? It's sad how they just can't re-air all that good stuff on a retro soap channel or something....but I guess they are not that nice....LOL.... There is certainly enough room on the B&B canvas for Sheila's kids......Diana would probably at least be R.J's age about now (in SORASed form LOL), and as or Daisy being Diana, I'm not sure how true that is, but it would have made more sense then the horrible Sarah Smythe mess.....
  17. Still holding out for those 1990 episodes too. Although, I'm pretty intrigued by Shawn and Lauren's storyline now. I know I've seen a clip of her being abducted in a cab, but that's about it. Oh, I know what you mean. Certainly doesn't feel like ten years. I was holding out that some of those rumours of Kimberlin's return may have been true, I was hoping around Michael and Lauren's ten year anniversary in December they may start alluding to her return with flashbacks like in 2005. Can you imagine them trying to explain that Pheila thing? I hope to god GT isn't subjected to having to recreate any of those scenes. Oh Believe me, I would love to get more early/mid 80's episodes too someday......especially after seeing those compilation clips that came with my latest dvds....the late 80's/90's stuff is easier to get , but I'm sure someone out there recorded and saved full episodes from 1980-1985? Yeah it all went by so fast the time from when Kimberlin left Y&R.....I still feel that the only way to salvage the Sheila stuff that happen the last couple of years is to have her go back to B&B, which makes sense as next year it will be the 30th anniversary.....I've sort of mapped out a great story if she would return that would eventually get Y&R involved too......Kind of like an ultimate make or break story for Sheila....LOL
  18. Your welcome! sadly no Sheila Present, which is always kind of a bummer but still a rare find, as I said I didn't realize the full episode was actually available.... I still want those May-July 1990 episodes with Sheila too....they have to be out there LOL ugh those episodes might be depressing to watch I can't believe it's now been 10 years.....that's gotta mean something now right?
  19. Here's an episode I never posted yet from September 20,1990 I don't know if some of you guys remember, but I had only the first few seconds of this episode that came on after the 9/19/90 episode, but it turns out the full episode was available after all which I was happy to get!
  20. No. No, it wasn't. Stop it. Stop. That's like saying, "the good thing about that cancer is..." Pheila was and is one of THE worst, most disgusting, things the show has ever done (and it has A LOT of competition) and nothing connected to or about it is good. Not to mention, it REALLY wasn't needed for all of Genoa City to know about her. That is more the type of villainess that would suit DAYS or OLTL. That wasn't Y&R's style. It made sense on B&B because it was a much smaller cast and, basically, all about one family, but Sheila walking in and terrorizing the likes of an entire city that includes Katherine Chancellor and Victor Newman would quickly turn cartoonish and over the top. Like, what possible reason would Sheila have to get involved with those people? She didn't go after money or power or ice machines. She just wanted some good peen and that bitch Lauren stood in her way. And that's what makes her so terrifying -- she did it all for love, for a baby. Bring her into this bigger orbit and suddenly she's putting bombs in Newman Towers and--oh, wait. LOL, well let's be real if Sheila bombed Newman Towers....with Victor inside, I think the town would have rewarded her with total freedom (at least the Abbotts would) Yes it was a smart decision for Sheila to stay in the place she was during her time at Y&R.....at least her interactions roped in some other players occasionally like Olivia, Danny,Cricket, and John SIlva, and plus she was part of the Masquerade Ball with everyone in town, showing that she wasn't totally isolated even if her initial story was.... what's funny is that unlike Stephanie on B&B I'm almost certain that Katherine would have probably liked Sheila, as would Victor......Cricket seemed to get along very well with her too from the brief interactions they had when they were both in-law's for a short time......That's why I'm glad they never really played on Cricket's reaction to knowing how Sheila tricked her brother.....even if she was too busy with Michael at the time..... Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, as I said one thing I loved about Sheila was she wasn't at the core of Y&R's realm. I loved that mysterious factor about her. I think it would have annoyed me to no end though after Lauren's supposed death on that yacht brought the whole town together that they wouldn't be aware of the woman responsible for it to an extent. Good god, I'm actually admitting I enjoyed something LML did, I take it back :3 hahaha Yes, yes it was pretty awful and embarrassing to watch, I wouldn't dare disagree on that one I feel like the 2005 stuff in all honesty seemed to but all the blame on Tom for everything that happen including the boat explosion....I know everyone realized it was Sheila eventually but they didn't really seem to know her part it any of what happen (I guess other then the Brenda and Jennifer disguises) I will probably have to watch the episodes, but I'm kind of shocked that Cricket who had some part in the story didn't once give mention to Sheila as that was her sister in law for a time...
  21. haha I do wish more B&B from 1992-1998 was available. Oh well, maybe one day. It is consolation enough to find a lot of them on YT even if they aren't in English. I do love the storylines that tend to lean more towards the outside of the traditional Y&R realm. That was one of the pros of that whole Pheila thing, getting to hear everybody from Victor to Katherine mention Sheila by name. Was it Peter Barton's decision to depart the role of Scott, or just a creative decision from the writers? His death didn't bother me until re-watching the 2005 episodes and seeing all the flashbacks, I do wish he was around to see all the anarchy that Sheila caused. I honestly feel guilty cause I promise myself I would try to get some B&B episodes, especially 1992-1993 episodes, but I haven't taken action with that promise yet LOL.....the B&B episodes I do have came from some of the Y&R dvds I have......I think sometimes watching some of the 1992-1993 Y&R episodes having to do with Sheila, then being able to watch that same day's B&B episode right after, would make it feel more complete.....I have seen a little of the episodes from 91-94 dubbed in German, but I also wish the English ones were available. I do agree about getting to see the other core characters finally react to Sheila during the Pheila thing, but the thing is that as much as it would've been cool if the entire Y&R cast was under Sheila's thumb like almost everyone was on B&B, it would probably make it less interesting, and the fact not everyone in town knew of her and interacted with her gave it more of a mysterious aura of that made sense.....you kind of see that more whenever she crosses back over from B&B to Y&R, I guess cause though Sheila had grown very popular of course during her original 1990-1992 run, the farmhouse then crossing over to B&B IMO is what put her on Iconic Villainess status which seemed to be proven how quickly the core B&B people got involved with her (and I know smaller cast was a factor but still) so it just becomes more interesting that after months of settling at B&B while causing chaos, she crosses back over to Y&R where other then Lauren, all the other characters are just minding their own business totally unaware of the great evil that has surfaced again........haha I know this all sounds a little bizarre, but I hope I made a point LOL.... I think Peter Barton/Scott was written out, I read that Bell thought that Sheila/Lauren had gotten so popular that Scott dying wouldn't hurt them......I agree that it would've been nice if he stuck around and after divorcing Lauren got with another woman on the show......I always thought Scott/Ashley would have been a nice pairing as they are both scientists in some regards, plus on the July 4th 1993 Abbott Pool Party episode I just got, in one scene you see Scott and Ashley playing with Scotty in the background so I think she would have been a good stepmother for him (especially with Brenda Epperson still in the role) .
  22. Thanks! It still bothers me that this episode aired exactly 1 week after the full episode of the lab catfight!....that's just the one Sheila/Lauren full episode I've wanted to see for ages...haha I know what you mean. Still, it was nice to finally see everything in between the call and the fight at last. I think the only other Sheila/Lauren full episodes I want to see are the Jacuzzi fight/Scott's death on B&B and Sheila taking Lauren hostage at the apartment. haha as much as I have enjoyed collecting Y&R episodes with Sheila that have been exclusive, most of my wish list of full Sheila/Lauren episodes are the ones that have been posted on youtube for years, like Aliehslive's clips.....I'm glad I was able to get all those February 1993 episodes with Sheila revealing herself to Lauren, as well as other dates I've had for a while now that have clips of Sheila from Aliehslive, like her hiding in the closet and listening to Lauren and Scott arguing......I still want the lab fight and yes the full episodes of Sheila kidnapping Lauren....also the ones where she came back to G.C before Catalina to reveal to Scott she was alive....LOL Aliehs does such a great job of editing out the other character's scenes in her clips that you just become so curious as to what everyone else was doing that day.......it's still kind of fun how oblivious the other G.C residents were of Sheila back in those days....haha I think the full catalina clips with Scott dying use to be on here, but it's been a while, and I don't think I ever really saw Scott dying to be honest......I have episodes from November 1993 where Lauren and Cricket are mourning him with Paul there for comfort......The show never really made a big thing out of Scott's death and I think Lauren got over it rather quickly......
  23. Thanks! It still bothers me that this episode aired exactly 1 week after the full episode of the lab catfight!....that's just the one Sheila/Lauren full episode I've wanted to see for ages...haha
  24. So I just skimmed through that Finding Carter episode Reeves guest starred in.....not really a role that you can do much with (is he suppose to be back for more episodes?) but It's funny how I always thought in recent years he could pull off playing an abusive deadbeat dad part now, which is what he was here (maybe it's how he looks now)....but it was fun getting to see him in the midst of all the "hot" young stars on the show, especially Jackson Rathbone.....
  25. I never thought of Ryan (and Scott Reeves) as being any kind of prize catch. Speaking of which, Scott Reeves guest starred on Finding Carter recently and he hasn't aged very well. LOL I was probably rambling a little, but wow that's cool! I'm at least glad Reeves is back into acting.....I can see him guest starring on shows like Finding Carter, Teen Wolf etc... It's a shame that someone like Tricia Cast isn't at least playing someone's mom in one of those shows, even if she's too good for those....IMO
