They also used it during some of the Pheila stuff didn't they?....LOL, at least LML didn't totally gut the music back then.... They play it a lot during most of the classic episodes....I swear they used it almost everyday, haha

I swear they brought Flo back when Nina had her suicide attempt, so that was in 1997 yet sources say Flo only lasted till 96ish....

I agree...I liked having characters like Mary, Flo, and even Molly Carter as moral compasses for their respected children.....that's why I wonder sometimes if it was a mistake to kill of Victor's mother Cora all those years ago, as from the little I've seen It would have been great having her around to question of some Victor's actions over the years...

I feel like the show was slowly phasing Scott out with these scenes, and showing Lauren's increasing disinterest of him, was obviously biding their time, till Scott illness's became a factor....then of course Sheila's return.....it's interesting to see, yet I wish the show had found something better for Scott to do, then just kill him off.... I loved the little spat between Lauren & Gina btw.......kind of rare for that time, yet I liked that they remembered those 2 disliked each other for a long time.....though I feel like we haven't seen much of the Lauren vs Gina stuff unfortunately.....

I have to admit Hoechlin is doing a good job....I didn't see the episode, but watched his scenes.....(and I hate to say that's probably all I'm gonna watch of this show for now) It's actually fun see him play a more nerdy type of guy as Clark....

Rare 1985 BTS and interviews.....

Darlene put the BOLD in The Bold & The Beautiful. The Spectra family really brought an essential element to the show. Too bad they're all gone now. I always sort of labeled the BOLD with the likes of the older characters like Sally & Stephanie, and the BEAUTIFUL with the younger ones like Brooke, Caroline, Taylor, Macy.......then of course there's Sheila who was always both BOLD & BEAUTIFUL, LOL

I had fun watching those 1982 compliations I got on one of my dvds that showed Nikki's early interactions with Victor, Katherine and the Bancrofts, so I wonder if the ones you got will show even more footage. Thanks! never seen any of the "whiteface" story, and that special looks like it would have been fun!

brunette is from Teen Wolf I dont't think that's her in the picture but there is an actress from TW who's gonna be in that move, Haley Webb from Season 3.

Yeah it doesn't seems like it's been that long......I know Sally probably would have appeared only twice a month if Darlene hadn't died,but her presence would definitely have made some of the last few years more bearable.

Thanks! that was a pretty good promo and still a decent time period for B&B.....also reminded me how much I resented Stephanie's later treatment of Rick, Bridget and Hope....She loved them despite her never ending feud with Brooke. Still miss Sally deeply.....can't believe next January it will be 10 years since Darlene passed.

Thanks for sharing! the Linda Dano/Bergman scene was pretty funny. I know I'm not nearly as invested to this era of Y&R (late 90's/early 2000's) but I always love how the show still kept it's signature classic touches that made the show stand out, since most soaps at this point seemed to try to appeal to younger teen viewers and Y&R did have one too this time, but it was always the better balanced show out of the other ones...
