Also it would be the most dramatic route to go for Liz and still be relateable since the writers have been making a point to have Liz be hot and cold about getting into a relationship with Finn since Peter fell down the stairs. Which btw good to see that coda to Finn and Anna's relationship. But why now? Things to make you go hmmm.... ETA: I agree with @AlexElizabeth. I like this story because (so far) it is mostly centered on Liz and I really don't even know where the story is going either. Positively intrigued.

YEeeeeeah that Carter/Paris scene was kinda awkward to me. After all that talk, they just did not feel connected. Hehe. Sheila just could not wait to get in Brooke's face. Oh, well...at least she's not crying. Shut up, Steffy.

Yeah, it sounds like what they did to poor Jen Davis on DALLAS tbh. Jen Davis had an interesting story AND a divorce that was filmed for that last season. She also had a feud with D'andra...usually in scenes when the other girls were fighting. But what did we see? Just her in the background or when she does something silly. That was it.

I don't see how she could have it either. Now maybe back when her rapist appeared again. But now? I just feel if it's true...they could come up with a better story for Liz as a legacy character connected to an important family.

2-16 Wow. It has slowed down, but it hasn't. The writers have snatched up the momentum and gotten their groove back. Thank you Jesus!!!! I love how the A story is Peter/Maxie/Louise but they are allowing it to breath and playing the beats with it. Letting it lead to so many developments. From the baby reveal getting around to everyone slowly. Dealing with how people feel about that (especially Brooklyn). Victor's connection to it. Valentin being found. Austin and Dr. O team up. More and more Felicia navigating it all. And I love that she got to see her grandbaby and show Mac, but know it's best she has to stay with Brooklyn and Chase whom Brooklyn was falling apart without...but at the same time allowing Brooklyn and Chase to sllooooowwwly (great slow burn) deal with the elephant in the room. Loving it. And when the story is not on that...it is focused on the OTHER A story...Carly/Sonny/Nina. And the fallout from Carly walking in on Sonny/Nina has been great, too. It is surprising that Carly and Nina STILL have not run into each other yet. That is going to be a delicious shoe to drop. Ava's reaction is still my favorite so far. And even this...they are slowly letting it get out. Joss just figured it out and she's mad. Michael just found out, but he can shut up. lol. And Sonny thankfully is back on those meds. And Carly is cooking something up for Nina. Hmmm.... Where is Chet and Terry? lol. I liked those VD episodes. I guess B story is this stuff with Willow's parentage. It has a decent start. And it's been used to bring Harmony and Alexis together. If her being Nina's daughter is just a red herring...which is how it sounds...who is Joan? I can't believe that after all that build up...Curtis has turned into the C story again. Just meh. Same with Liz's storyline. But it has a nice build and I am intrigued. Someone said DID. I never thought of that. But...could these writers do that justice enough or do I just have worries because when I think DID now, I think RC on OLTL?

@Cat you are right and I was wondering that as well. Jen and Tequila Bill were iced out, but so far from my watching it does not look like it at all. The magic of editing.

That's good to hear. I didn't like they seem to be giving Kiki the DALLAS Jen Davis FOH edit, but good she still shined through. Since my brother is having trouble remembering his Peacock account PW, I'm happy someone has been posting episodes online to watch. So ready to return to Miami...and I know Kiki looks and sounds cool.

And I'm DEFINITELY ready for the long awaited return of Caroline Stansbury aka HBIC of LADIES OF LONDON. And yes, I will be watching Kandi's spinoff next week. I'm such a sucker for anything in the restaurants/VPR/SWEETBITTER vein. And did you and @Cat see that Kiki on RHOM filmed (and had cut) Confessionals?

Yeah, it was a CHORE after the gaslighting of Mary to watch. And once that racist started to talk and everyone wanted to add on...I literally almost turned the channel. It was just that triggering. Could you imagine how that all would have went IF Jeannie had not pi#$ed off someone enough to unearth all those posts of hers? Just...foul. Outside of Jen's drama (and seeing Coach Shah speak)...Yeah I can't either. This might just be like how I felt about the BH reunion...I tapped out after Part 1. It's barely fun anymore. Okay, it's mostly not fun. That...was just too much. ALL OF THIS.

SLC Part 1 left me cold. In fact, seeing that the gaslighting continues next week, I think I will seriously skip over Part 2 which I feel is going to be filler anyway and be back for Part 3 for Jen vs Utah Lydia. I can see why Twitter was upset. Mary was definitely, truly, and utterly everyone's storyline. I posted the synopsis for the reunion weeks ago, but I hoped there would be more substance, but nope. Given the few times that Housewives have decided to not show up to a reunion, it is very telling that rather than move on after the announcement that they kept harping on it. So...nothing happened this season? I mean...there is Jen's arrest, but we are not allowed to mention it, right? God bless, Utah Lydia. She will be good and God darned if she was not fighting for her relevancy as a boss bitca that only 'appears' to be a victim. And she almost immediately saw Bad Weather coming with their annual reunion act. While NO ONE will EVER top Monique's binder, good to see her bringing receipts to back up the Angie catering arc that started off the season. Jeannie v Meredith was easily the highlight as shown above by @Cat. I guess Andy and the Budget Coven planned to do a whole narrative (and also next week) of Mary being the villain and a racist. And they thought they were going to pull Meredith along for the ride. And Meredith was like 'no, bitca.' She gathered that girl and gathered her good. But the gaslighting. The trying to paint Jeannie as not in the wrong...even though she knew of her posts and the world did not...and allowing her to even have a narrative that Andy was supporting. Too much for me.

Easily my favorite part of the episode. Meredith got her ALL THE WAY TOGETHER. They really should have. I found it EXTREMELY triggering and I never recovered from it. NO I don't need a rewatch. And the fact that through that whole section Jen looked like she wanted to say something, but kept her mouth was the only standout from it.

THEY DID. Not helped by the writers...though I don't think it was Dan, but Chris...doing the sin of doing a rewrite (going back to our conversation in the GH thread) when there was really no way given history that Anna would sleep with Faison EVER. Her/their history was seen on screen mostly. Even with the wiggle room of missing years, it was STILL implausible. He was Dead Man Walking from the moment of the reveal and having him do bad while making fan favorites look stupid only made it worse.

SLC Hm. Episode started with a disclaimer about how it was filmed before the bombshell of Jeannie's Facebook posts. But...but I thought Utah Lydia and Andy Cokehead found a way to get it addressed on the reunion. Or perhaps they are talking about the race section that aired tonight that is getting soooooooooo much backlash as I type that it sounds like they should have edited it out....

SET IT OFF reunion tonight with Jada Pinkett Smith. And her character is trending....

BH Well, I guess we know Crystal's storyline then...if true...
