Like Joss now having more and more scenes with Michael out of the blue. I said that as well. re: potential for Dex. The actor has been selling all that you mentioned, but it is just the getting together with Joss...well, the writing of it...that has let him down. The anvils of Laura redeeming Esme has been clear since Esme showed up in front of Sprina with no memory. It fell to the wayside for a month, but has been increased greatly over the last month and a half. And now Heather has Laura in her sights for perceived slights, too? It definitely makes sense. All of it now that Esme's reveal of paternity. I'm honestly surprised at the history and tension between all involved and legacy characters at that. And also excited.

I definitely get a grin every time I see Kelly's being in use. Because there was a stretch of time it was kept alive only by reference from the characters than actually seen. And the fact that Cameron works there...like his mother before him...warms my heart. I really want to say that Bobbie still does own it...unless she sold it off during the period of time when I was not regularly viewing. And I feel like the apartments upstairs were referenced within the last year or two, but don't quote me on that. Mmmm...Brenda...

I don't dislike EM either. And while he might be how he looks on PASSIONS, I still find him quite attractive. Moreso honestly. That said, it's a testament that he (and NB) have made some of those pairings work. But when one thinks Brady and relationships that have gone the distance...Chloe, Nicole, and yes even Kristen come to mind. Otherwise...as a romantic lead he is played out. I do love and think he would be great if they would take him in the directions both of you suggested. Either Dad mode or Adventure Dad mode.

2-27 See? THAT was what I was expecting last Thursday and got Willow all up in my face. After all of that crazy action, adventure, and acting, a breather episode before the next twist. I am feeling the broken souls vibe that both Spencer and Trina are putting out and playing really well. The melancholic family tragedy of it all. That they are parallel to each other resonates and shows how they are made for each other. Perhaps it's my love of Wuthering Heights showing, but I liked the Jordan/Curtis scenes, but I couldn't help but wonder what happened to the dynamic energy that the actor that played Curtis used to give off. He was kinda low vibe in some parts of it. Jordan had more energy. I have mixed feelings about Liz. On one hand, I was very worried given how the writers fumbled the Liz and her parents arc and seem to be leaning her back into Finn's direction, that Liz would vanish back into the woodwork. So happy that Liz is very much involved in things OUTSIDE of Finn. Mixing it up with Ava. Her part in Nik's holding Esme. Things having to do with HER. On the other hand, did she really have to confess? lol. But that said...her and Finn. Ugh. She was so free. And I like her having something meaty to sink her teeth into. And AM continues to be a revelation as NuHeather. I can still hear her screams. In this case, her pain...her longing to connect to her daughter. And then to see vengeance in her eyes when they fell on Laura. I knew it was coming when Esme stumbled into Laura's arms on Spoon Island so those scenes were superb. I always like when GF allows Laura to show some edge. Some fire. And AM...who has been playing layers since she took over for Heather...for the first time showed a Heather with a threatening menace to her. And the fact that both characters are legacy brings a whole other level to it since I really can't recall them mixing it up much. So I'm more here for Heather vs Laura than Laura vs Victor...which honestly is petering out again.

Agree. They did to her what Y&R did to Sharon's character...rather than make her the heroine she was meant to be. And just like Sharon, it took the writers years to rehabilitate her character after so much bad writing. I liked a few of the other pairings for both of them. But it seem like right when a writer would start to write toward a reunion for them something would always happen...whether it was an exit, a writer leaving, a new character...it was like everything but the kitchen sink. The fact that I can even pick on Brady a la Brooke just means that he probably could use a break. They have plenty of villains so no need to turn Brady to the dark side...which outside of the Chloe pairing...is where EM usually took off. Cuz he as a romantic lead is kinda played out. What a time.

I agree. I was such a Broe back in the day. So it was so maddening how they never went back to that well until the last few years. But to be fair, there was a time where it seem like as Brady was becoming free or leaving, Chloe was coming back or vice versa. Like ships through the night.

2-24 Still dissatisfied, but I have to admit there were a few things I liked about this episode. Lily vs Devon vs Nate...that scene at Society was a hoot because 3 way argument. And as I've said often I do like it that they are trying to at least keep Devon vs Nate as a rivalry even though they are in separate stories at the moment. I also liked the Olivia mention. She would be in Nate's face if she was there. He's right. Now...how about BRINGING...OLIVIA...BACK. Jeremy and Phyllis just need to sleep together already. And I see the role of Paul is now being played by Chance. Which I find funny since wasn't he trying to leave the police department. But there he was with Jack and Diane acting like how Paul got when Victor or anyone doing something underhanded made him flustered.

There was a really great picture I saw when I was diving for pictures of him. I am hoping it was for an upcoming scene given that Dollar Bill said he was going to try to force Finn and Sheila together, but it was too big for the forum. But I thought he looked reeeally good.

I feel you. CBS loves to pull that kind of stuff. Their player did something similar last week with some of the episodes which was part of the reason I found it hard to play catchup. I don't know what's up with them.

Thank you, Cat. I think it's a case of just the weather has been swiftly changing so much that my sinuses can't keep up and I feel really, really congested and my body is reacting to that. Just today the weather has gone from warm to cold to dark cloudy to hurricane winds to pouring rain to a sprinkle, to clear skies to sunny and then back around. The cold to rain was in the span of 8 minutes or so. But it's been really really weird over the last week or so. We even had a freak rainstorm Monday night...no warning...at all. Where is my sunny days? lol. Even a clerk at the convenience store I go to mentioned that there might be a stomach bug running around so going to try to stay careful and liquid up as best I can. And I might not like Tampa Ralph, but I can't knock that picture at all.

THANK YOU!!! I believe someone mentioned it on the pervious page, but it was so jarring to have great story flow for 3 weeks...only to tune into Thursday...see Willow's face and le sigh. Even I was going...oh, die already. You were not the only one hoping Austin would get Hooked. And I don't even want to talk about how over Joss/Dex I now am. As for the Brooke/Taylor friendship, I would think the same except at least they are having the other characters talk about on screen how weird it is to see so I can't pick on it being pushed since it feels like that is being acknowledged in some way. Yeah...I loved all Graz's scenes last month. And just saw Alison Lanier over the last few days and she's sooooo good. And I won't talk about how that verdammt WTD storyline killed that Nick/Sally/Adam triangle for me. And that standalone episode...No, MA'AM. I really wanted to throw something at the TV. A waste of time. Awww...but while I loved what we got...especially everything around Portia's wedding...it could have been better. Though I would have went right ahead and explode the Dex is a double agent, Sonny's shipment storyline right along with all the other storylines finally converging and climaxing. Then we could have gone into this month with Laura vs Victor along with all the other storylines she is attached to due to all things ended last month and start to climax Anna's part in LvV as well. Cuz like I said above...when Willow's face came on-screen, the momentum upped and died. I completely understand on liking only a few. It's how I'm growing to feel on Y&R as of late. If you don't mind me saying, I love the list...especially the bold. I hope that means you liked Anna in Anna mode taking down Victor's double agent. And yes, I will always want Liz in story so while I might not like it, I do like things are still happening with her right now...and it's circling around Ava, too.
