Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The boat entrance. The Black AmEx. The way she could gather these hoes. The aspirational wealth and how it made me feel. And she always came across authentic. She was THE housewife. I'm getting upset just think about it. Especially after that cute video that Guerdy posted of their friendship. Lord...let me take a breath. Though I understand given the death of her father and the delivery of her baby early, she understandably needs the time to herself. I really hope so.

I think for me...it was the fact that it was organically done with Sonny and Anna. And if I remember correctly, they were both at interesting crossroads. And later on, there was a strong potential in a Sonny/Nina/Val/Anna quad given the history among all four of them. So I wouldn't have mind...and that was back when I liked both Sonny/Nina and Val/Anna. I was actually sad...but also excited...when PM came in and went for Sonny vs Anna because of how close they had grown over the last few years that them against each other had stakes. Yeah, I would love for them to leave it there with Anna and Jason. But definitely seems like they are planning SOMETHING. What it is is ??? I don't know.

Yeah, when Anna was without jobs, her and Sonny had a nice interesting vibe to them at one point. And then it went away. I cannot either on Jason/Anna which is why I'm wondering what these New/Old Writers are trying to do with this Jason/Anna stuff. lol. I didn't even think of the Robin of it all. Yeah, mind blown.

9-10 I would say the week is off to a strong start. I would say the only false note so far has been how random it seems to see Jordan and Drew around each other now. That...and the Heather storyline. I mean how did we go from a silly story that could have been a great umbrella story that had the town divided...to just something to give Portia (and Ric) something to do. Two great days of Molly large and in charge. I still very much wish that she would have really let loose with Kristina on the 9-9 episode (at least she did with Alexis), but she really got into her today. And as someone who hates when two people who supposedly are close enough to have code that even I can figure out, I LOVE Molly busting Kristina and Michael because their face code sucks. lol. And now she thinks that Kristina might be behind Wagger's death. smh. I did like that Kristina has enough of a brain to wonder why Michael is having her back...unknowing that Michael knows who really killed Wagger. Oh, what a tangled web we weave... Okay NOW I'm wondering if there is something more I've supposed to be taking from these Jason/Anna scenes. At first it just felt like common interests and comradierie. But the scene with them in the office, and Jason putting his fingers on the police file while Anna's fingers were there. I mean is Anna trying to save Jason's soul...which has been much better served since he got back up until the last week or so...or are the writers really planning seeds for something else to happen between Jason and Anna? Hehe...you know I loved my Liason scene and watching Liz and Jason compare notes. I also loved that Liz was the cliffhanger for the 6-9 episode where the Gannon doc realized he knew Lucky. And the cliffhanger for today. Could there finally be some movement coming with the Lucky storyline? And of course, my Beast had to help his gal Carly out with an updated update while flirting. And time is ticking. The bad guy du jour might have to move his operation AND Lucky. Everything with Sonny was old home week. And I just hate that Anna has been dumbed down like every police commissioner before her for Sonny. And I continued to love seeing TJ and Ric bond. And seeing the long-missed view of TJ's bubble.

9-6 I thought that was a good coda to the murder mystery. Finn and Steffy continuing to reconnect and him treating her like the queen she is. And Poppy slowly coming to the realization that Luna is the killer and set her up. And then having to let her go. The actress did a great job (except at the end cuz no tears as Bill was holding her). And the actress playing Luna sold it as the po-po pulled her away to head to jail. Li is LOVE. And NuTaylor still does nothing for me. Awwww Hahahahahaha

From your lips to God's ears! I'm (barely) watching 9-4 and Chance is talking about this very thing to Summer afte the midpoint tag. lol. Outside of that and some Kyle vs Summer clips, I would say the same. Skip. I agreed with the rest of that except for this. When Lily and Daniel are even allowed to have scenes, she's civil, but she really still comes across mad at him.

Speaking it into the Universe since ALL of Laura's babies are coming home this year. Hmmm...I don't know about Justin as Lucas though. I do wonder if they might finally recast since Brad finally popped back up a few weeks back. Oh, it wasn't too long. lol. Happy to see they are STILL married after all these years, too. Adorable. I agree. I can't wait to see her.

Fingers crossed that it is not. Oh she has mos def been on fire. Even when she's just reacting. I love me some Mama Bear Alexis. Same. Yeah, this version of that couple is divine. Because they FINALLY grew up enough...and are still enough of their general personalities...that they make sense.

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
Looks like they are getting another season. AND there is going to be a spinoff (that has been filming) that goes back to the roots of the show by focusing on people who work at SUR.

why did you think so if you don't mind me asking? That is so funny to watch since I do believe that is her husband in that scene. That said...30 seconds in...she's giving JMB Lulu version to me, too. But I guess I would say warmer as well.

Yeah, that was the only thing that has bugged me about the recent Lily/Victor scenes. There was a pause when Lily said she wants Victor to get Billy out so she can get her old job back. But we the audience know Victor is planning to make Nikki the head of Chancellor. That pause said everything. I also agree and continue to say that Chance should have never left being a cop. Every soap needs that one good guy who is usually the cop.

I haven't even thought about how I would like it to come out to be honest. Right now, I'll be surprised if it makes all the way to November/last week of October. Quite honestly, I started to watch today's (uh oh now hehe) and it didn't bug me as much as everyone else. Though that was some bad feedback when KM yelled cuz it echoed through that living room. Fingers crossed. Same. The last thing they need given what's going on BTS is to do something that Frank likes to favorite for one. And it makes a target on that actor's back for two. Also same. I felt Molly held back too much in the scenes I've seen so far versus when they are at the grace and she DESTROYED Kristina. At this point, I really need Molly to let loose the next time Kristina uses the 'wrong' name, and backhands her. YASSSSSSSSSS!!! Great minds.

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
I was such a kid that it did not occur to me until I was older that James Earl Jones was the voice to the villain of my favorite sci-fi film series Star Wars. For me, and what was a good representation for me as a young black man, it was his portrayal of King Jaffe Joffer. Ragal. A lion in his ferociousness and with his son a bit of softie. And...glasses. But yet, his eyes held you. His presence was strong AND different to what little I saw of black people on tv growing up. And do I even need to mention his voice? It makes me bittersweet to think it was a similar presence I thought to a character I did in community theater that I did not understand then, but I see now. He's done so much stuff. From Star Wars to Roots to Conan to as mentioned Sesame Street. He was a vibe. A Goat. And lived a full life and will surely be missed. RIP.

GH: Fan Fave Fired. Actress Blindsided
Very. And I like SM, but I have to agree. I liked Sam with Dante, and it's sad that is some wasted potential with the potential return of Lulu. However, that does not take away from the years where SM has phoned in. What only leaves a sour taste in the mouth is the fact there's clearly more to the story. And the fans...not to mention stans...smell the blood in the water.

9-5 Let me go ahead and say it...I don't know why these psychos keep trying my gal Li. SHE GETS YOUR ASSES EVERY TIME!!!!! lol. I loved they weaved Li into the climax to the murder mystery story. And yes...Finn breaking down the door was so camp. As was Luna pushing her aunt out of the way so she could make a run for it. It was nice to see Finn be the hero. And YES, that was hot to me. Like I mentioned last week, he has been dumbed down for so long that seeing him using his brain is a thrill to watch. And then him recusing Steffy with that Monaco music in the background. *swoons* I don't know about Poppy leaving yet. She still has to play disapproval from Will...who now has another reason to dislike her with Bill as well as a rivalry with Katie. But...Brad could prove me wrong.

GH: September 2024 Discussion Thread
Yeah, I feel that long term. Right now, part of the fun and potential is the fact that it is pushing Molly closer to him. And it humanizes Ric (even more than his Liz redo) because he is really feeling like the only one who has Molly's back. And now TJ is growing closer to him, too? Drama!!! For sure!!! Which is why it should been a one (or two) scenes with Lois and be done. Having Tracy move on Olivia is just a way to keep this slapsticky tone that this writing regime like to do for no reason than silliness and I'm not here for that.

GH: September 2024 Discussion Thread
Hehe. True. I call it pandemic body also because it's on actors who I don't find attractive whatsoever, but with the extra 'junk in their truck' so to speak...I admit I do a double take. Michael Mealer on Y&R also had a similar thing happen during 2020...and recently I feel due to his girl also having a baby. Don't find either guy attractive normally, but add a little bit of weight and I'm looking at them like a piece of meat. lol. Let me quit...this heatwave must be getting to me. Yeah, that's another shoe that I'm waiting to drop...Willow finding out about Nina/Drew. And for it to have full impact, I felt we needed to see all three characters' point of view. It's like the kiss felt like Willow started it more than it was just in the moment for both of them to me due to the acting and direction. So I was happy to see Willow verbalizing that aloud. Nina/Drew (up to that point) have discussed their whatever they are and slowly allowed their feelings to grow. But they had not at the same time discuss their REAL feelings...only their feelings were growing. I would say Nina has verbalized it more than Drew before the writing regime change. So Drew for me was the only hold-out. Was he really being an old school ABC cad, feeling flattered, or just confused? I feel under the new/old regime, we got what Drew was thinking with his talk with Curtis. And I respect they filled in the hole that was missing in that triangle to make it work. It now feels even more juicier and even more messy than it already does. And outside of the nuances that PM put into this story being pretty much gone, the triangle is still feeling soapy. And I cannot wait for it to explode even though it is no longer one of my favorite parts of the show...which it was under PM.

OMG!! He was doing superb on this 9-3 episode. I was like 'who does Billy think he's talking to? You better remind him who you are.' And Victor did not disappoint. EB really and truly has been the highlight of my viewing this latest week so far. MTS being a close 2nd. Acting-wise. Story-wise, I would say...reluctantly I might add...the Sharon storyline. And I just think that that's because it's about Sharon on one hand and on the other hand, I want to see if it's going where I feel it is going to go which I feel is Daniel connected.
