OMG!! You rock @Errol for the genre references. I will always have a deep love for VR.5 and the X-MEN lite MUTANT X. And I so forgot about TOTAL RECALL. Takes me back to a whole different time on television where some of the best (fun) shows were in syndication.

Well, we like to pick on each other when it comes to Joss.

Yeah, I'm almost caught up and I found that VERY noticeable. From stolen kisses to indifference again. I'm surprised that Ava has not done anything to Natalia yet. But I suspect with PM leaving that Ava will go back to less femme fatale to background noise again. I don't know. I think Violet was traumatized enough by walkng in on her father unconscious so soon after her grandfather died. And Tracy handled that whole situation very well. And even that scene traumatized me so I wouldn't wish a car death on a kid (and I don't mean you when I say this). It is just clear overkill for a story that is already moving pretty well. On the other hand, I am right there with you with an accident that beget story upon story upon story. The good old fashioned umbrella story. Which yes is good soap writing. Well not a major intervention for sure. But we got Liz talk to Finn. Then we had Chase confront Finn. And from where I'm viewing, we got the awesome Alexis vs Finn scene. At this point, I could see why the shift has gone to being sure the child...in this case Violet...is okay. And that is understandable.

Well tbf, BELOW DECK was already shifted to the main franchise years ago...the game show substitute to our HW shows as soaps. And it's already been toxic for years. And for every show that manages to not be toxic or well handled (DOWN UNDER, MED last season, BELOW DECK), there are also problematic (The Bros from BELOW DECK S7, MED Season 5 which led to me stopping watching until this year, and the current ALL STARS 4-que situation with SAILING YACHT which resulted in MED coming back a year earlier than planned) shows. They don't push the show as much as they were since Captain Lee was forced out (and good to see him doing well on other tv shows), but they still push it over their HW shows.

*gasps* Not you saying it.

And you would be correct. I also called this as well. Drew and Nina doing the hate sex that was popping off of them. And watching it grow. Ava turning back into the femme fatale she was meant to be. Okay...this one I didn't call. lol. And now Finn with his spiral. Giving the characters clear purpose and most importantly...direction. BETTER direction at that. Because beforehand there was no use for them. and now even naysayers are somewhat interested.

Well, well, well...wishes for some do come true. I do like Michael Easton as a person, but the whole 'leaving-coming-back-as-a-new-character' did the characters he played no favors. Love him as Caleb. Liked him as John here and there. And as I've been saying in the GH Thread, the Finn's Spiral storyline has been surprisingly enjoyable to watch, and it's been great to give ME something to dig into. And so soon, too? A tale with a beginning, middle, AND end? Good to see PM getting us something out of his exit.

Not even Andy has said anything, and I think he would have on WWHL...not that I watch. And definitely wouldn't count Kenya out yet. After all this is the lady who had more buzz for 3 weeks around her pregnancy than the actual episodes of RHOA Season 11 that was airing at that time.

Now that I finally saw what Naked Wasted was...oh, that truly is a loaded gun no question. Bravo better not play with her. Cuz Kenya AIN'T Nene.

6-20 Darn @Antoyne, you were right!!! These episodes are surprisingly flowing. In fact, I feel like they haven't flowed this good since right before Chase/BLQ wedding. And this week (about to be entering Friday) has flown. Finn's storyline has outright been the A storyline and even when it was not the main story...it was a solid B story. And speaking of B story, everything involving Jason has been a B story. And it's been interesting seeing how everyone else's story has connected to one of the two and branched out to subplots and/or twists. But I guess that made the surrogacy story from last week a C story. Noooooow I see why Sam and Carly had that talk about parenting and Jason this week. Spin getting the recording and Sam finding out why Jason was working for the FBI...or more importantly what they were holding over Jason's head...Ooooo...KM lit up reeeeal quick in that moment. Again...it's been overdue to see Sam vs Carly again because I've always felt they should have never become BFFs given their history. Watching Finn self-destruct continues to hold my interest. How dare he try to lash out at Portia and Terry. And it's been a minute since someone has lashed out at Liz at the Nurses' station...LOL!!! The sad thing is that he STILL hasn't hit rock bottom yet. And I really want to see how dark this is going to get for him. Because no job...Chase zeroing in on Violet...how will this end? Cuz it keeps going down a dark road. I'm always here for the Scorpio brothers being together.

I liked Daniel...I mean SC Savannah, too...at least until I found out Season 2 was completely manufactured. Very little of NOLA was that. But they were a friend group first. I heard. I believed I gave up on that show around the time they introduced Leva. I heard some of the messiness, but THAT was a whole other level. But like you...I feel the same. Otherwise, they would have addressed it. And don't get me started on BELOW DECK franchise BTS mess. If Kenya wanted to make a case for saying they are singling her out over other shows, she has A LOT to pull from.

And lest we forget in the case of Whitney on SC...he basically was her boss as the main producer/creator of said show. Even if it was not shown, it's the boss talking about you, creating a toxic work environment. And yet that show keeps on going versus the better show (SC: NOLA) was cut off at the knees. But let me mind my business.

6-19 I can sum up my feelings like this: MACCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also... YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to Alexis getting her license back. I'm mid-workout and was jumping right along with Diane and Alexis. You know you're invested when you react right along with the characters. lol.

Counting down, too. So excited. And like I said...dare I hope...Lulu by Spring?

Hehe. What are you talking about, Cat? We STILL been discussing Douglas Marland's Rules in the GH thread since March when Patrick Mulcahey's brief run started. I at least feel he was applying them which is why now that we are approaching the end of his on-air material, we are seeing the middle of his stories and I feel he definitely used the rule about keeping everyone, observe them, and start playing around to see what fits...which has led to surprising things (Drew/Nina, return of Femme Fatale Ava, Liason revisit?) and what I hoped...for some board people here...the natural exits to characters that no one liked. But...lol...a moot point now. And...wrong thread. You definitely hit the bullseye on this one. Especially your last paragraph and probably what I love Dubai so much. Not this season or last season (other than that brief cameo by Shady Phae Phae) did I at all doubt that this was a friend group. We know the best HW shows are the shows where the cast are friends before the show. Old NY. MIAMI. RHOP at the start. Now this...these are women who hang out on and off screen. That is also why it hit so much when it was noticeable that Lesa was on the outs with the ladies because they were all a friend group. Good to see she is still friends with them regardless of the forthcoming Ayan/Lesa fallout. I may think many things of Sara, but I always love her scenes with her son. Now that you said all that about Caroline, I am curious what you will think of her and Sergio fight on tonight's episode. I know a clip is running around. I haven't watched, but some people are already mad at him over it. I like both Carolines, so I just can't pick a side over the sit-down. And I honestly thought I would lean to one side or the other still because Brooks really has been doing waaaay too much. But...I do get it. But like I said, last week, the only reason I get it is that it was mostly in the Confessionals. While Brooks kinda said it to Caroline, I need both ladies to say it to each other and out of Confessional. But again, once Caroline knew she needed to have her guard up with Brooks, that brunch was done. Le sigh. Onward and upward with those two. We are going to have to agree to disagree lol. re: Saba. I've been proven wrong on FOH before so I can keep an open mind. But so far, instant dislike. But...I have plenty of time to change my mind. Why? She should be recurring throughout the season. I even think I saw online that she gets into it with someone. I might be wrong. Whhhhhhhhhhhatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

6-19 So is Johnny going to be our problem child moving forward? Because he was bringing all kinds of snark at Claire. But at least they are playing the beat of Victoria introducing her to her other kids. Meanwhile...JT...STAY AWAY FROM TANNING. Part of me wants to laugh at Abby since we all have been discussing how she is always left out of all the Abbott/Newman drama. And here she is on this episode...complaining to Billy about that very thing. Part of me wonders who is reading these boards. THAT'S IT??? And by IT I mean the Lily vs Daniel lawsuit is over like that? What a waste of a potential storyline. Or an abrupt end to one I should say since I have been all over Heather/Daniel/Lily. ETA: In case people don't already know...6-21 is a whole episode (with flashbacks it seems) about NICK. Let the shade here BEGIN!!!

Fingers crossed. It's had a nice build-up and leading to a fall for Sonny and watching him rebuild would be nice to see. Yes, even if it is Sonny. But he is overdue one.

Which means more regular viewing while shading Joss. FACTS. IKR. Now let's bring on another one.

But now that you know...as excited as I am? Dare I hope for Lulu to follow by Spring? Same. That's what I said yesterday. I think we both know who my Number 1 on the wishlist. VERY happy for Number 2.

6-18 Seeing all the talk about Carly and Sam, I was actually looking forward to seeing it. I found it underwhelming though the topic: Jason was spot on. And Sam was speaking so much truth. It's that accountability that had been missing for a while, but had found its way back to GH since PM came on. It will be missed. Perhaps the scene was about bringing Carly and Sam back to being on the outs since they should have never become BFFs given their history. Again...the potential will be missed. Meanwhile, I enjoyed Alexis vs Finn from 6-17. I was not at all expecting how that scene with. Alexis went from friend to tough love to schooling him to tough love to reading his a$$. And I loved all of the dialogue coming out of her mouth. Alexis destroyed him, and NLG gave such great work. It reminded me of how Alexis used to be back in the 90s when she would be gentle, but direct, but could take off those gloves and be steel with the quickness. And then the scene with Portia and Liz. Yeah, they are getting so much traction out of this Finn storyline. I continue to be so surprised at how much I am enjoying it. So Val IS framing Anna slowly, but surely. Wow. I was expecting Anna to pull the wool over his eyes, not him over hers. I thought the dinner scene was abruptly brought in. I figured there would be more of a lead-up to that couch scene. However, there they were on the couch flirting. Just felt off. In any case, I can't wait to see what Anna will do next. After all, Anna is at her best when her back is against the wall. I roll my eyes every time Wagger tries to flex his power. Why is he even here? They could do all this with a no-name...which he basically has become.

And as excited, I lost my ^&*( Thank you and LOVE YOU for posting it upfront for all to see. Now...what else is going on? lol. Same.
