Well before I get to the conclusion of the fight for Monica's estate, I just have to say how much I loved that tea party. Lucy being Lucy. Jordan suspecting that Portia was with child. And of course, Veronica vs Tracy. And THAT last scene with Tracy. Just...OMG...JE is sooooo good. The layering. The nuances. How Jane shifted so flawlessly between her grief to the anger I love so well to vulnerability in the matter of seconds. I had to rewatch it was so good. And I just thought...THAT'S Tracy!!! It was...if only for a second...the slanted writing fell away...and the real character came out. I also loved how ES finally started to reveal Ronnie's edge...which I felt she was doing subtly since the character appeared. It was such a masterclass. That said...so far...I have been liking this leg of the story. I don't like how it seem like everyone would believe Tracy would do that. Not that she wouldn't of course cuz it's Tracy. However, Tracy has definitely grown over just the last few years and grown closer to her family. You would think they would give her the benefit of the doubt. And over a stranger, too? Just seem meh. And speaking of Qs...I did get to see Lois's exit. I believe that is the final exit? If so...my feelings are mixed. I know I have been in the minority on this, but I felt that Lois's return for the most part...was a good return. That the writers took the potential of her return after being away for decades and just fumbled it. The accent storyline...when they should have just focused on Lois vs Lucy. The Gio storyline...which given how Lois was about Nina keeping a secret from Sonny, she would never keep this big one. Why not give Lois an intriguing backstory while she's been away (secretly dating Jax? Heck a secret fling with Martin and Lucy finding out?) all these years to impact the canvas. I have liked Rena Sofer (and those beautiful eyes and raven hair) since she was first Lois to her days at THE CHRONICLE to her sinister turn as Quinn on B&B before they wrote her into a corner so I'm sad they couldn't use her more. That said...I do like she was involved in the Monica's Death story. I loved she came to some understanding with Gio and she mended fences with BLQ. And I even like that she will be off working with Blaze and Miquel hehe. I would have never thought she would have returned and for that, I'm grateful. I have to say while it is partly a case of wash, rinse, repeat, I am kinda liking Jordan/Curtis/Portia/Isaiah. I guess it's because the situation is different. I think everyone knows that I liked Jordan/Isaiah. So their history could come into play at any time. Curtis's morals...that he has to a fault...has always been an issue with him and his women so Portia...who has had to deal with it forever FINALLY exploding on him and reacting has led to good soapy hot mess. Some of it has been slanted writing, but Brook Kerr is so great to watch. And goodness knows her Portia can read. lol. Isaiah...gives obsessed, but I blame that on the writing since I feel the attraction to Portia has been abrupted. That said...him and Portia do have chemistry. I can't wait to see where it goes. Saying all that, it's funny to see how Drew...who is still so central on screen...own story has turned into a C plot. I still think Willow shot him even with her being in jail. K McM has been playing Willow in such a way to me that I feel that Dark Willow is still in play. And that I love. May Willow never go completely back to dull. Right now, there has been so many possibilities for her. Using Drew to get her kids. The growing hero complex that Chase is having toward her that could lead to a breakup between Chase/BLQ, a breakup set in motion by their pregnancy issue. It reminds me of how interesting Sasha FINALLY got before she left the canvas. Which reminds me...they still need to reveal Willow was behind the hauntings, too...so Sasha can give her a slap. I do like that Alexis has been roped into the mess. I love Lawyer Alexis. Very shrewd thinking. Not enough Gio/Emma for me. But I do like that a little young unit appears to be emerging with Charlotte, Rocco, and Danny. Especially Charlotte and Rocco. Nice cliffhanger with Laura vs Drew cuz...LAURA. Oh, I almost forgot! Carly scheming??? YES, PLEASE. But Val is a BOO!!! lol. I have been curious to see how Carly would move now that she knows about Joss being an WSB agent and that Brennan knew. Of course that means his days are numbered. I thought she had actually forgiven him which I did not like. So to find out wig and all that she was scheming to take him out? I actually cheered. No offense to Chris...who has his own chemistry with LW...but it's time. Speaking of me...uuuuuuuuughhhh at Jacinta. I will be glad when Frank gets over her as his Flavor of the Month.

Now while Ms. A was a bad rewrite...it gave Bitchy Bangs (eventually) so I don't mind it.

VERY. I admit to wondering, but I hope not. Chemistry or not. I really liked that scene. All Jan would be is a spoiler if they go there again with Ashley/Andre...which they shouldn't. And there are so many!!! BTG has a few male doctors that have appeared that was FOINE. Where's the one who was picking on Ashley about her performance...which could have lean to a story about Ashley dealing with her dream job...OR a story back when SPS tried to poison Laura and Ashley (who was her nurse) could have got the blame from said male doctor. Then she would have to prove how much she wanted her job and that still could have roped in Shanice who as her supervisor who would have her back. Ashley could have gone off and after some self-doubt, tried to prove her innocence to the male doctor. Probably spring into a romance. Derek of course would go obsessed.

I'm thinking that way as well. Watching Vanessa this week, I can't help, but think about you and going 'it's happpppening...' I also feel that way about Dante. I will fall out if turns out if Kat/Chels's Dante and Dante Green are one and the same.

Oh, I've noticed. And as Joey is such a polarizing figure on this board, I knew at some point we would start to seriously discuss it. It has slowly, but surely over these 8 months he has gone from a minor character to someone who has his fingers in so many pies. I think I mentioned it when we had the reveal about Allison's 'husband' and how it was foreshadowed months ahead of time with Joey having an escort service. That he has so many ways for him to enter the story and be that ongoing/recurring villain. And while it seem he's being set up as a nemesis for the Duprees...and they do need one...I don't think long-term cuz I'm starting to think like Vee that Vanessa will take over his whole business, but it's too noticeable to not be commented on. And now he knows Izaiah, too? A new connection and story avenue for him. I do wonder if that was always the plan for Joey or if it shows how much MVJ loves having JL on her show and finding ways to keep him. But you know I like that storyline and how it came together and like him and Vanessa.

While it probably does have to do with whomever is Ashley's dad, I feel the show has done a good job establishing why Jan's POV on why she's pro-Derek in her brief scenes. Her as a single mother who had to struggle for her and Ashley, love the idea of Ashley (who is in a dependable job that is her dream job) has a man who also has a dependable (if dangerous) job. Both of which pay well so Ashley does not have to struggle like she did when Jan was raising her. And...Jan can see that Derek adores her...and soooo doesn't come across as a player.

Which is what I called from the first moment Chelesa did her diva hair toss in that photoshoot where Dani and Andre first started. That is such to real life and personal experience so I was and still am glad that the show developed something like that. I'm not at all shocked at how it has organically deepened. And the fact that so many people in the audience that was against it have slowly not only come around to the two of them, but is now actively rooting for them. Lightning in a bottle. Good writing. Organic conflict. Fire chemistry. Superb acting.

Why any hate? A few of us have mentioned. I think everyone has improved somewhat except for AA. And usually it is just when I'm or someone in the audience is thinking of them. I love that. For me, it really reminds me of Y&R back in the day which is a nice touch.

A decade later and it hopes up perfectly. Christina's tagline...still flawless.

I agree. I can't wait to see what everyone wears as well. Outside of B&B, BTG definitely has Best Dressed. I can't wait.

Yeeeah this Winterfest is sounding like an event. Monday and a bit of last week really does appear like it is setting Silk Press Sheila up for a fall. Tuesday roped in Bill, keeping Dani/Bill/Hayley around. Now all we just need something to go on with Martin/Smitty...which could be Samantha's antics...and all the A stories from the start have turns/twists/reveals coming.

One can hope. Ha!

As someone who watched that reunion, I just smh. Even then it was clear that Jennifer love her sum Garcelle. It will be good to see some friction there. Awww Kathryn. But I am curious about her as well. And she goes after them, she better be sure that she doesn't have any skeletons in her own closet.

I mean with a bubble and front like that...LOL. No wonder he acted the way he did. And off of Joey's tea, Diego really did like Vanessa as more than a escort client. I think that's because there was discussion that he was a more believable man as an escort than the one Allison had. But I could be wrong.
