Agree. I think we all know she did it to spite Eva. I find her inability to acknowledge that hilarious. But I also thought it was funny that she said as much in dialogue. Just the contradiction of it all.

THANK YOU!!! I remember a few years back Ameila Heinle posted a humorous video with Eric Braeden I believe, and we were all discussing why they never allow her to show her humorous side. Or just Allison Lanier when she came on as Summer and how her vibe totally outsold the writing for a brief period, making her magnetic to watch in scenes (and acting rings around La Stafford btw) only for the writers to stop writing to her strength. She still did great, but it was annoying to see her go from feisty to Summer as played by Hunter King if that makes sense. No offense meant to HK. Yeah, the discussion on the thread this past weekend is sadly giving me chills of the days when that was Robert Guza's M.O. on GH. re: killing long-term characters. So many of those names were characters (and actors) I always wanted to see again and JG is just killing them off with no rhyme or reason.

Yeah, gaslighting might be too strong of a word when talking about June. I can save that for Tomas. I like how June's storyline is developing and curious to see, like Martin's Secret and how it ties into an issue that black people have dealt with, will MVJ do the same with June. It definitely doesn't look like misdirection after that confrontation between Regina (sidenote...loving that actress) and June. But I can't help but feel there's still a shoe to drop.

Well darn! Jacob and Naomi just upped and vanished from the episode. Ugh. Tomas ain't 2#$%. I do love that Eva continues to be in SMG Kendall Hart template though I hate how she lets Silk Press Sheila gaslight her.

See? As much as I don't like Tomas any more, the money couple is him and Eva. They are just giving so much star-crossed. And outside of them, I thought it was good that in the overall Kat vs Eva rivalry, they both took a loss today. Ugh at Andre and Ashley. I can't believe it just looks like we are getting Dani/Andre/Ashley. Another side story for Dani to develop her for sure. But..ugh.

And mind you, the best Chance I had seen other than the originals was Melissa Ordway's husband who I loved and refused to accept anyone. So it's high praise that CF won me over before I even realized...oh duh he is handsome. lol. I do feel the canvas needs a good guy (and cop) character so he fit there. He had so many ties. And YES on him with Summer. I was happy that JG at least saw that there was a hint of spark between CF and AL and ran with it, but of course, the writing still suffered. I would have loved for them to leave town together. Their final few scenes were some of the most adult conversations we have had on this show in ages. Such a big mistake. I had stopped watching over Damian. This just makes me have no desire to go back to regular viewing any time soon. Just a waste.

And now the Doug/Vanessa/Joey takes another turn. And I thought it was very telling what Doug said about the image Vanessa would get if it turned out that she was sleeping with Joey and the whole community knew. Kat vs Eva...even with some of the writing as of late...is the gift that keeps giving.

God, I'm going to miss him. He came in after a problematic recast and I liked what he did with it...when he was given things to do of course.

Outside of the Andre/Ashley stuff, I've been enjoying it so far. I am curious to see if they are really going there with June and mental health...which is often overlooked in the black community. Or could Regina be gaslighting?

I really love that idea. I loved Ana and Loren Lott was a great recast. Shame she was not used enough.

YES!!!! It's good to see an event happening again on this show. The anniversary party was the last one I believe so we are going on three months now. All we need is the police fundraiser now. Well when you are good at your job, people got to imitate. Not that they will duplicate.
