  1. Maureen looks amazing. She has not aged. My heart is so full right now. Kim's daughter is a front line nurse and had to be tested and they're waiting for the results. It's really ... something ... how we truly are in this pandemic together.
  2. Same feelings I have. I'm happy for the cast that the show has been a success and I really enjoy it.
  3. I'm meh on Terri Conn. lol. But I'm thrilled to see Colleen and even Ellen Dolan at this point. Trent Dawson should be fun I guess. I'd rather have Martha again and Liz Hubbard. But maybe they'll do another one.
  4. Yeah I just saw they added him, but I guess Soapsuds beat me to it. Jerry will be there!
  5. Jerry ver Dorn has now been added to the guest list
  6. I was so excited to her listed! That would be great! Especially since Maureen and Liz will be on
  7. 👏 Well said That ... sad person was looking for a reaction and I suppose we gave it to her. So ... anywho ... Don was great.
  8. They all looked so great. Don had a great memory. Not sure why the troll is trying to be an ass. I don't remember everyone I worked with either and he's lived a damn 90 some years. I thought he was wonderful.
  9. LOL!!! I couldn't tell who they were talking about running around in their underwear, it sounded like "Ben" to me, but I need to rewatch it. And yeah it was emotional for me. I didn't think I needed that and I did.
  10. Alan Locher's YouTube channel just put up that a GUIDING LIGHT chat will take place on April 8th at 3:00PM (the show's former timeslot). Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, MAUREEN GARRETT and Liz Keifer (eh) will be on hand. I think Don Hastings was a surprise for the ATWT one so hopefully we get a surprise guest. I'm so excited to see Maureen Garrett and Robert Newman.
  11. Saw a notification for an upcoming chat!!! GUIDING LIGHT up next on Alan Locher's YouTube channel. April 8th at 3:00PM. I just love they're doing it in the shows' former timeslots. I mean, nothing against Liz and Kim but lol, I'm more interested in hearing from the other two and seeing them. Kim should be a trip though. @DRW50
  12. Don't feed the troll buddy. I mean, *I* have memory gaps and I'm nowhere near Don's age. He was wonderful and sharp. She can shut up.
  13. Ohh, Ok. Glad you saw it. I agree I'd love to see more of this kind of thing. We have the technology and over 500 people were watching (with little advertising, imagine the audience if it were more highly promoted). Alan Locher mentioned GL and another for ATWT (possibly with Liz Hubbard)
  14. No lies here. LOL. I always found it interesting they seemed to often have soap stars on Home&Family and use them in movies ...
  15. YES on Hallmark Channel. I thought the same. Especially since they once had The Doctors and did nothing with it. Maura was fabulous Exactly. And to be quite blunt, Scott Holmes is the least interesting and memorable Scott actor to be on the show. Scott Holroyd, DeFreitas, Bryce ... love that Maura immediately thought of Holroyd. The replay is still available on Alan Locher's youtube channel if you haven't checked it out.
  16. Pulling this up as I'm reading the thread. YEP! I'm looking at you DAYS. Anywho ... the budget seems to get worse with the soap and I thought some later episodes looked very cheap and poorly done. Nice to see earlier years looked better.
  17. That's interesting about Jon. Again I missed some because of the talking over each other at times and sometimes garbled sound/wifi on their ends. Kelley seemed lost at first, not uninterested, lol. IMO. She seemed to have problems getting on or something.
  18. No he doesn't. His memory seemed great as well. It's so nice to see him doing well. Maura was a trip and loved seeing Scott join her at the end. He looks the damn same too. Can we swap out Roger Howarth for him? Michael Park?
  19. Mmmhmm. I noticed. Considering they were hiring actresses for Executive Producer, Martha could have been ATWT's Ellen Wheeler. LOL. She and Don talked a lot about Marland. I'd love a GL one.
  20. Good. I expected it, but always nice to hear some "confirmation" of sorts.
  21. It was so great hearing stories from them. You can tell how close they still are even if they may not talk all the time. My heart needed that today. I missed the Marie Masters mention. Some of it was garbled and I was slightly distracted at times. I need to rewatch it.
  22. It's so wonderful to see them Don Hastings!!! (He still sees Larry Bryggman and gave an update on Kathy Hays) Maura West drinking corona beer in her hot tub! She is such a fun time I just adore her. "I have shitty wifi" ... dead. At the end Scott DeFreitas joined her he looks the damn same. DAMN SAME. How does the ATWT cast not age? At all? Martha is obviously still close to Liz Hubbard (who she says is doing well!) and says they're even closer now than when they were on the show. She's talking about her first day and how she was almost fired. No one reacted to Michael Park mentioning Goutman directing him on his first day. Heh. Park's adoration of Maura West Kelley Menighan was fashionably late. Aww she recently talked to Ellen Dolan (I believe). Aww her crying at the end saying she just loved seeing their faces. We deserve ATWT and GL back.
  23. Reilly always fascinated me for various reasons. LOL. Good to hear! And ew at JFP. Wonder what happened with him in his later years before he passed. Did he just say "[!@#$%^&*] the interference I'm going to write batshit crazy stuff"? LOL As much as he dragged stories out, dumbed folks down, used plot devices ... he could at least structure a story, IMHO. Good? That's subjective, lol.
  24. Yep. It's so sad watching it collapse. Smart, sexy, witty ... I still wonder how Reilly wrote for the damn show (you can see some of his touches in 1991, but the show had great writers to cover some of it up and write it better, IMO). Did he have dolls of the characters and act out scenes? How did he manage to work with folks like Curlee and Demorest? He was such a recluse.
  25. Thought of the Emily/Holden discussion and how they really never interacted in the later years. I randomly pulled up a January 1994 episode and voila, there both are together in the scene as the episode starts. I LOL'd.
