  1. Scott and Candace still have that chemistry
  2. so she was on the first episode? No. Brenda Dickson was hired to play Jill Foster before the show's premiere and was part of the original cast when Y&R premiered in 1973, but she did not appear in the very first episode. Neither did other original cast members like Julianna McCarthy (Liz Foster), Dorothy Green (Jennifer Brooks), James Houghton (Greg Foster) or Pamela Peters (Peggy Brooks). Dickson and the other actors whose characters were not featured in the first day's script did appear later on that week, however. You do see a gorgeous sketch (by artist Sandy Dvore) of Dickson in the premiere episode's opening credits, where she is pictured with McCarthy and Houghton who played her mother and brother. For the record, the contract actors who appeared in the first episode were Tom Hallick as Dr. Brad Eliot, Lee Crawford as Sally McGuire, William Gray Espy as Dr. William "Snapper" Foster, Janice Lynde as Leslie Brooks, Trish Stewart as Chris Brooks, Robert Clary as Pierre, and Robert Colbert as Stuart Brooks. Deidre Hall (later of DAYS OF OUR LIVES fame) also appeared briefly as Brad Eliot's ex-girlfriend Barbara Anderson. if you are interested, you can watch the complete premiere episode here: http://www.ew.com/article/2013/03/26/young-and-the-restless-first-episode-40th Cool
  3. I do have a question: When did Brenda Dickson debut as Jill Brenda Dickson was part of the original cast, when the show began on March 26, 1973. When she started, she was actually much more subdued and restrained in her acting than she would be later on, when she camped out in the 1980s. so she was on the first episode?
  4. I do have a question: When did Brenda Dickson debut as Jill
  5. What about Jeanne Cooper, I see some online newspapers having her anniversaries around December 14 or in November
  6. So is February 12 when Kristoff St. John debuted or is it on February 14?
  7. What about a love triangle? That's what I was about to say. Do you think it possible that DTC might keep all three of them? He might as well seeing as they won't allow Ben to enjoy his sexuality. Might as well bring Johnny back and have him and Paul be a pairing. They should let Ben enjoy his sexuality. I do have a question: how was Ben's relationship with Peter and Lucy?
  8. What about a love triangle?
  9. Denyse Tontz (Miranda Montgomery on AMC 2.0) has a recurring role on The Fosters
  10. When did Brenda Dickson last air as Jill the first go around?
  11. Was this the first time Sheila crossed over back to Y&R
  12. This show is giving me vibes of bad US soaps from the past 3-5 years
  13. It was either 95, 96, or 97? That was a mistake
  14. From the TCAs yesterday http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/degrassi-next-class-team-talk-856501 I hope she is utilized better than Hazel and Liberty too. This show has not always treated black female characters the best. Typically, they are written as the best friend and I hate that. I loved Liberty, still can't believe it's been 9 years since JT died I loved Liberty too but they never gave her any good material until she got knocked up by JT and JT got killed. She was criminally underutilized. I agree Sarah Barrable-Tishauer was totally wasted. Seems like they focused more on Emma and Manny than her
  15. What year was the whole Amanda is really Brandon's daughter and not Alan's?
  16. I hope she is utilized better than Hazel and Liberty too. This show has not always treated black female characters the best. Typically, they are written as the best friend and I hate that. I loved Liberty, still can't believe it's been 9 years since JT died
  17. @Nothin'ButAttitude @All My Shadows I hope Shay is written and lasts better than Hazel, they wasted Andrea Lewis back then. I like how they aren't making these new characters into Manny, Emma, Clare, Eli, Paige, Darcy clones but their own characters
  18. Speaking of Pheila, can you imagine Gina playing that in flashbacks
  19. @Nothin'ButAttitude I looks obvious that Esme serves as angst for Tristan/Miles, almost like how in the beginning Imogen did that for Eli/Clare before they put her with Fiona I'm okay with that. Since Eli/Clare are no longer around, these two will be my couple to root for. i do wonder if Esme and Winston might eventually have something. I wonder if Miles say he's going to boarding school around the time Eric Osborne went to film Crazy House with Connor Jessup
  20. I think Miles will continue to appear. What did you think of Tristan and Miles being friends again after that scare he had? I don't know how I feel about Esme yet I have no clue. It has but the plots in these ten episode were super fast. The content was good. I just wanted it to be slowed down and all the beats played. Seems like Degrassi is getting back to being good again
  21. Looks like this will be permanent. Nothing has changed. I hate that they have Ben posing as straight. With all the mouth and grief Ben gives Phil, he should just accept his sexuality. One of the many absurd stories on EE. Seems like this has always been Ben's story, since Joshua Pascoe played him nearly 10 years ago. No progression at all
  22. Is this still Kate Oates stuff, is she still credited for these episodes?
