  1. I had to laugh at Anna/Felicia/etc thinking about how crazy Robert's reaction would be about Sasha getting pregnant by Jason. Did everyone in Port Charles just forget Robin was in a long-term relationship with Jason for years, lived with him, and helped raise baby Michael? The show's erasure of one of my favorite 90's couples hurts my heart.
  2. I would like a Liz and Sasha friendship. I could understand if Sasha felt overwhelmed or scared about this baby, but she hasn't expressed those thoughts at all. My baby. My choice. The father won't be involved should be enough for everyone in town. And honestly, if Jason was the father Sasha would have plenty of reason not to name him due to pretty much everything that's happened to Jason since 1996. Also a solid reason not to name Michael as the father as well. The guy that just got burned by a bomb that was intended to kill his mob boss father. I am over Sasha's torture too. Yet she continues to be humiliated and treated badly to this day for no reason. I don't think she needs more sympathy from the audience at this point.
  3. Honestly, I would take any story that lets Sasha make her own decisions about her body and her baby. The whole Sasha needs a man to support her through this trying time is just ridiculous. Sasha has a job, a home, a large group of friends and family-women have been having with a lot less for years. Plus, even if she didn't she's still carrying a Q heir. She'll be fine. Considering all of Sasha's past trauma I am rooting for her to have this baby and not go through another crisis though.
  4. Today was a rough one! I didn't read any spoilers and the reveal wasn't even shocking to me. Well, I hope someone finds Joy because she's just poisoned upstairs in her room at the Pub still lol.
  5. I thought this Jason/Sasha pregnancy story was going to be slightly more organic than what's happening on screen. Between Cody running around town telling everyone Sasha's business incorrectly and Drew just announcing her pregnancy and baby daddy to a room full of people at a restaurant, I am seriously offended on Sasha's behalf. This show loves to humiliate Sasha. She's a grown woman and can take care of herself. The misogyny on this show never ends. Sasha doesn't need a man to help her raise a baby. She has said several times she intends to raise this baby on her own. It's 2025, not 1955. Also, Willow and Drew continue to be the worst lol.
  6. Please don't put such ugly statements like this into the universe.😂
  7. Nah. It will all turn into a bunch of drama less nothing. Gio will be so happy to have 2 alive parents he will be the grandson/great-grandson whatever the Q's have always wanted. Everyone will be mad at Lois for 5 minutes, but then totally understand giving the child to a widowed woman that was sad was for the best. I mean, I swear I remember Olivia, Sonny, Brook Lynn and Lois talking about Gio's mom finding out she was pregnant after her husband died. Did Gio's fake mom run around with a pregnancy suit for months? While playing for Carnegie Hall? I need to know about Gio's dead mother tbh. The only way I could see this story *almost* working is if Lois reached out to Ned and Ned/Lois decided where the baby should go. Then, after years and Gio losing his mother Lois had regrets and started slowly moving Gio into the fold so BLQ could eventually meet her long lost son. Although, Ned seems none the wiser on this so that's just fanfiction. Again, it would create appropriate drama between Ned/Lois/Olivia/Dante/Brook etc.
  8. I would say ideally you give Lois a co-conspirator in this Gio plot. Ned, Olivia, or even Tracy. They helped decide they didn't want Brook or Dante to go through with the teenage pregnancy and Lois reluctantly agreed. Thus, giving Ned/Olivia some conflict that involves Lois and BLQ but not in the obvious love triangle way. Instead, it's just going to be Lois getting the entire blame.
  9. I could see someone like Brenda make a dopey move like this because she has a history of making terrible decisions. I don't ever see Lois doing it. There is no reason for level headed Lois not to involve Ned, Olivia, and Dante in this choice. All of them are (mostly) decent people that would have respected Brook's decision here. Lois hates dishonesty and lies. This whole thing is idiotic. Even if Lois/Brook Lynn were in on this together and knew Gio was her son that would make a bit more sense. I know it's going to come down to the excuse that Lois was protecting her daughter, but she's essentially hurting a bunch of innocent people in this. It's not 1950. Teenagers get pregnant in high school and give children up for adoption and have successful lives. Ugh, my biggest fear was they might pair her with Sonny. Not that they would just entirely try to destroy the character although a pairing with Sonny would have destroyed the character too lol.
  10. Yes, it's obvious this has been re-written and it wasn't thought out. Again, I will never buy the Lois I knew would ever do this, but now she also looks stupid on top of everything else. Who would just let their secret grandson live in the same house as her, his mother, and his other grandmother, grandfather, great grandmother, etc with his father in town as well on purpose? And, oh yeah, the stablehand also knows BLQ was pregnant as a teen. I could see if Lois tried to actively stop it or something, but she encouraged the entire Gio thing.
  11. If Body & Soul does end up being ditched in a few months I wonder where that will leave Joy. Her only connection is to B&S. It would be a shame to dump the character. I kind of like Joy.
  12. Aside from being completely out of character for Lois which I could go on for days about, the whole thing is confusing. Lois just handled the adoption? Brook Lynn would have had to consent to something at some point. She didn't ask anything about where her child would end up or with whom? Did Gio's mom live in Bensonhurst when Gio was born or did she show up later with Gio as a child? Did Ned just not see BLQ for 9 months while she was a teenager? Did Lois think it was a better option for Gio to just be the town orphan instead of letting him know the truth? Olivia never noticed Brook was pregnant? Lois just decided to keep this from her as well? Somehow Sonny knows this kid well enough to pay for his schooling even though he was clearly in PC when BLQ was a teenager, so does Sonny know something about this too? None of this story makes any sense. Lois just gave the baby to her buddy then had her move next door or whatever and just hoped nobody would figure it out? It's almost like GH over explained Gio's upbringing when they introduced him and now there isn't a logical way to make it make sense.
  13. Thanks for the casting spoiler in the regular thread, everyone!
  14. Did they ever even try to explain why perfectly capable Kai is still in the hospital? It seems really silly when he could be doing all this stuff from his own bed and going to some Dr.'s appointments, especially with a serial killer running around. You think Portia and Teri would at least try to minimize non-critical patient stays during this time.
  15. Oh, I don't either. I didn't mean my post to come off that way. The writing is ridiculous. There is no excuse for Marlena to be gabbing with Leo when there are a million other things Marlena could be doing. I just hope the silver lining in these plots is that the actors are at least enjoying it.
  16. Lol! I am fine with that too, but I feel like the show is so entrenched in the bit now. It would be hilarious if no one ever mentions it again come late April though. I was still thinking some characters would talk about working at Body & Soul. We just wouldn't see it.
  17. I feel like I will again give the show grace because I do think they are overusing Hattie to meet Deidre's guarantees. Obviously they could figure out a better use for Marlena, but I do think there was more of a John story planned and perhaps things changed quite quickly given the circumstances. It's not an excuse for Ron, but I can at least rationalize the fact the show may just have not had enough time to rework some things given the taping schedule. I feel like Body & Soul will be dropped by April or at the very least minimized and Hattie will just pop in from time to time.
  18. Oh, I don't think Deidre enjoys Body & Soul. I know she likes playing Hattie, but I don't think she's keen on playing her long term. I think it's probably a bit fun for her to have different screen partners and do different things after all these years. DH has always been clear she has no say in writing these days and just goes with the flow. I'll give her a pass as well because it is probably good for her to do something light hearted. I am sure the upcoming material will be very difficult for her. That bothers me as well. Their actual jobs and livelihood are being made fun of. I know some actors don't mind and lean into the joke, but long time vets like LK, JR, Judy Evans, Deidre, etc deserve better than being mocked.
  19. I have mentioned several times that I think Deidre likes and enjoys working with both RSW and GR. I said as much a page or so ago on this thread. I highly doubt it's her big idea to have stories and scenes with Ben/Alex and Leo. Just as I have mentioned about Body & Soul-it seems like these actors are having fun. Enjoying their jobs doesn't mean they are writing scripts or pitching these ideas.
  20. Yeah, it was weird then too. Marlena wasn't actively seeking him out though. Leo showed up at her apartment uninvited to ask some therapy questions and turned on Drag Race for her to watch because he was talking about it. I am aware this isn't the first time Marlena's been friendly with patients. She's technically currently married to her former patient. Ethically Marlena's interaction with her patients has always been questionable. There is just something more believable and organic about Marlena helping Julie, Hope, Jack, whoever than forcing us to believe she just finds Leo that likeable to spend time with him as a friend. This is Ron's way to shove Leo down our throats by using the main heroine of the show to prop him. If Marlena likes him obviously the audience and everyone else should. There is no way I could ever believe the woman we have been watching for nearly 50 years would be bff with Leo Stark.
  21. Yes. They and Peter are the most glaring for me. I even think Tony and Anna should be involved. And, unfortunately, John/Stefano played huge roles in this whole story as well.
  22. Well, Kayla and Kate had nothing to do with Aremid. Kayla wasn't even on the show and I think Kate was presumed dead and recast and on a fishing boat for most of the story. Kate revealing to be alive all happened on the Salem side of the show during the climax of the Aremid story. Anyway, I totally get your point. Marlena could have retold the story to those ladies and it would have been a much more accurate description of events than the tale Kristen wove. It's hard to revisit Aremid when the main players are missing here.
  23. The Marlena/Leo scenes are really weird. He's her patient not her friend. DH was acting so oddly as Marlena. Not like Hattie, exactly, but off. She also could have just told Kayla about this. Anyway, I get the impression Deidre actually really likes working with GR. I want to blame this all on Ron, but she seems to have fun playing off Leo. Idk, maybe knowing some sad material is coming up this type of stuff just lightens the mood a bit for her.
  24. GH aired uninterrupted here on the West Coast. I can't be much help as I am more interested in the news, but I am sure it will air on Hulu tonight. It doesn't seem to be a nationwide pre-emption.
  25. Agreed. I think since Harris was very much a supporting player on Days Steve may have decided he actually liked that better than leading every story like he did on GH. Plus, I think he got mostly positive feedback for his run on Days as well, so he might have took that to heart and realized people like a character with more vulnerability. I think Steve just went into auto pilot on GH and was bored, but didn't want to be sidelined either. I honestly think Steve just mellowed with age. He seems content in his own personal life and with his place on the show. But, of course, I don't know the man and am just guessing based on his performances and overall demeanor on the show.
