Carrie/EJ is my dream lol and they haven't even worked together yet. AP and CC just have an easy chemistry and, it's probably my 90's love, but AP has never bothered me ever. He was an idiot and wooden as an actor, but he was just very 90's JER Days. I do agree Carrie could branch out to several other pairings, but it is what it is with her schedule I guess.

I will go on record saying AP as Austin is fine. He has improved acting wise and still looks good. I will agree he is an albatross around Carrie's neck though. Carrie could have been in so many other pairings but we just trot out Austin every time. Muldoon just looks so old compared to Christie

I don't have anything negative to say about Tinker. He did well. It obviously took me out for a second for him to play Sonny, but he was very good. Solid recast acting and lookswise. Just need to see his chemistry with Chandler as Chandler was in it very briefly.

Billy definitely plays it bisexual so why not?

I know this is stand alone, but I wonder if this 'disappearance' could be the eventual catalyst for Ciara to leave again. To go find her or what not with Ben hopefully.

I feel like VK always dresses like that, but it was distractingly skimpy. I liked it all. It wasn't amazing, but no one bothered me even Ciara/Ben. The idea Ben/Austin could buy priceless diamonds is funny, but whatever lol. Jarlena were wearing the same outfits they were wearing early last week and not the ones they were wearing on Thursday's episode, so that was a continuity error. And could Days buy Deidre that Blue lace dress in another color at least? She wears that all the time. I wonder if this will explain Hope's disappearance better. I doubt KA will come back though for this. I would assume they would have promoted that because I don't think she's a bigger get than Eileen or Lisa in terms of promotion.

I think they said 6 am on twitter now. Not sure if that's accurate. You would just think they would have released it on time. I really don't like the Peacock site. It's always so slow and it's the only way to watch certain sports so it's annoying if you pay. Since Beyond Days is free I guess it's slightly less annoying.

I mean it's 40 min late now. I just happened to be up and wanted to see if it dropped, but a lot of people were going to live tweet. I have peacock premium for their figure skating coverage and I have tons of problems with that, so I am not surprised their are issues.

I think the KeMo/Sam stuff was to his detriment. It was hugely unpopular and again it was a story that was right after him being a major part of the Brenda returns stuff so he was pretty visible. After that story tanked he didn't really do anything until the Carly stuff except randomly marry Courtney which was always a strange pairing. Ingo may be an ugly person, but I still think he is a very physically attractive man. He's not as hot as he once was but he hasn't aged badly. It seems like the show wanted Ingo/Jax, but never had a clear plan for him outside Brenda and later Carly. He was part of some weird stories like finding Alexis's sister, a triangle with Courtney/Nic, the Sam baby/triangle, but I can't say he's led any story on his own. Alexis has had bad stories, but she's definitely led quite a few. Jax is in a lot of stories, but I can't say there was ever a "Jax" story in the way Alexis had cancer, or alcoholism, or played a butler to get her daughter. Anyway, the consensus seems to be he can go, but it is interesting to look back at his 25 years on GH and find not a lot memorable there.

Yeah. I used to think Ingo was just badly underused for years and I still think he sort of was. He's never had much to do outside Brenda/Carly. The only other stories I can remember are the mixed married stuff and some Jerry Jax stuff. He definitely coasted for the better part of 25 years on having chemistry with his co-stars and being part of Sonny/Brenda/Jax.

Drake looks really strange in that picture lol. I personally would have switched out Ciara and Ben with John/Marlena and had Eileen and Lisa on either side of them. With Jackee more prominent. Ciara/Ben may be the be all and end all to Days on the mother show these currently, but if you were looking for relapsed or new viewers you would think you would choose recognizable faces. Maybe they are trying to lure in young viewers or something? But I doubt that will be the audience of this spinoff.

You would think it be the same timeline because they did show it on the main show and set it up. Maybe we just get "bonus" Ben/Ciara in New Orleans in a way that doesn't effect the Beyond Salem story (ie them making out in bed as per usual).

I think there is potential if they brought some of Justin's other kids on and I think there is a third Lockhart brother if I am not mistaken, but I'd rather they bring back Stephanie or Joey before that. Also, the unknown Andrew Donovan who we have never seen. JE and WK are good actors with tons of experience, but I think WK should focus on Ned on GH because there seems to be more story there.

Honestly, I like Judi and Wally a lot (I love Ned!!), but I forget Justin/Bonnie exist until they are on screen. For most characters/storylines I like them or I don't, but I can't even bring myself to care about either of them. Although I would have enjoyed seeing Kayla get wasted with Bonnie more than hearing about it later lol. So I am ready for this to be wrapped up basically.

I am going more by character ages than actors ages. Kirsten Storms was only about 22 when Belle was born (even though she didn't play her at the time) and I think that's a lot closer to Belle's age on the show at the time. That whole group was supposed to be in their early 20's back then. And I thought it was way too young to saddle her with marriage and a kid and I think it did hinder Shawn and Belle in the future. Instead of dating, finding a career, etc. she was saddled with an endgame pairing with Shawn forever and ever. I don't remember Shawn D being much of an issue for Hope. KA/PR left the show pretty shortly there after and Shawn was raised by Bo until Hope came back from the 'dead'. It didn't really prematurely age her and her stories because she just wasn't around lol.

Not to mention neither have jobs and live in a one room apartment lol. Ciara is only what 22? Does she need a child already? This is the same thing they did to Belle by having her married with a baby at like 21. But Hope was really young when she had Shawn D and the show is clearly trying to emulate Bope with these two.

I think Jax dying could actually be a good story. Everything Jax has been preaching about for 25 years would come back and kill him. It would be pretty epic. And Vanessa could come back and cry about it🤣 which is my true agenda.

It makes sense for Tony/Anna especially with Carrie/Austin involved. I guess there are only so many people you can show, but I don't think Steve/Kayla being with Jarlena in Switzerland would be shoehorned in. I am happy with what we got as far as casting on this so I won't complain. Paul was paralyzed I believe when he left, but he has shown signs of improvement I think according to John who mentions him from time to time. I would be all for a recast Paul, but Christopher Sean was so perfect. He really had similar mannerisms to Drake and is exactly what I would imagine a John/retconTori child would look like if that makes sense lol. He has so much charisma in a role that should have been a flop.

OMG! Paul as an ISA agent is brilliant. Is he still paralyzed? Loved Paul with Will. Loved Paul in general. Will/Paul on spy missions would be amazing. Yeah, it's kinda sad Steve/Kayla got sidelined for the spinoff, but I think it was either them or Jarlena and I think Jarlena are just more of the face of Days.

That's fair. He has shown skills by getting away with multiple murders lol. The ISA is shady so they would probably just welcome him aboard. He's so much like Bo, you know.🤣 Yeah I believe John and Steve could still rescue people. I would 100% want him in Beyond Salem over Justin/Bonnie's wedding, but Marlena needs a reason to be there.

Lol! Honestly though if I was kidnapped I still believe John could probably save me. He's still in pretty good shape. Shane just might need to work harder on recruiting new, younger members to the ISA. Watch it will be Ben next 🤣

He was sidelined. And JER made WN's Roman almost seem like the bad guy for not forgiving Marlena and being a jerk of a husband before the affair. I get the point of writing him off the canvas only to bring him back when Jarlena planned to marry, but I think it would also have been interesting to have him stick around. To have him and Marlena try again, only to realize it would never work and maybe have him be a surrogate father to Belle like Marlena was to Carrie. Or at the very least be involved in his kids drama. They could have cast Eric earlier. It certainly did the character of Roman no favors to be gone while Sami, Carrie, and Marlena were going through major life crisis for years. I certainly prefer John/Marlena and loved their 90's stories, but I loved Roman too and it was hard to see such a important leading man basically fade away into a talk to at the Brady Pub. Who knows? She only talked about it briefly. It was an interview for Beyond Salem on Dishin Days. I do think she might have meant a smaller community of people she knew maybe? Like she knew the whole town of Salem, but was starting fresh in a different town lol. I just don't see Marlena working on a Ryan's Hope like soap. Regardless of what Deidre thinks, there is something flashy about Marlena with the supercouple pairings, kidnappings, adventure stories, arch rival villians, etc. no matter what. And yes, a Trump like family was supposed to be involved. But it's been about 30 years so maybe Deidre is forgetting some things lol.

Haha! She said it was multi-generational and called Manhattan Lives, but said it was a small town type of thing and I thought isn't that Salem? But she said it was ages ago, but I had the feeling she still sorta holds a grudge it wasn't picked up lol.

I think the magazine polls were heavily in favor of RoJohn/Marlena as a pairing. But then I have heard John/Isabella were popular as well. To me, she was annoying af when Marlena came back especially when she got pregnant. Anyhow, the whole Tale of 2 Romans started great and a lot was going on, but then nothing happened with the quad. Everyone stayed with their original pairings and it was very anti-climatic. Obviously, things happened a few years later, but I remember watching the end of that story and being like "that's it?" I think it was a risky decision. Drake was popular as Roman and I think in the end it really sidelined Roman permanently as a factor on the show. John and Roman fill the same role. And Drake as John won out. Josh Taylor has a lot to do with it, but it seems like JER was over even WN's Roman because they fired him. I think you can argue both men (WN/DH) had chemistry with Deidre, but I think Drake just had the 'hotter' chemistry with her and was a more ideal leading man, so it was John all the way. *BTW, Deidre did an interview today and was briefly talking about Manhattan Lives (which we all had a huge discussion about) and said it was all about Marlena needing to get away and moving to a "small town" and that it was a great bible lol. Manhattan Lives implies it's New York and not a small town, but okay Dee.

IKR? Austin/Carrie have a pretty volatile marriage. They are always breaking up. Don't know why Anna is so worried about it now lol. Thank goodness we have 70 year old John and Marlena to save the world on their super spy missions lol. I love it but it's so silly. About as silly as Lisa Rinna as an ISA agent, but I am totally going to watch Beyond Salem. I am excited about it.
